KETTERING, Ohio (WKEF) – Multiple golf courses around the state Tuesday hosted qualifying tournaments for the 2025 Ohio Amateur Championship, including NCR Country Club.
The qualifier was able to be completed Tuesday without any delays, though golfers would face weather-related challenges through the 18-hole rounds. Those who played in the morning had to contend with strong winds, while the afternoon wave played through a persistent rain on the property’s North Course.
18 golfers qualified automatically with an 18-hole score of one-over 71 or better, while 15 golfers at +2 would go to a playoff to determine the remaining automatic and alternate berths. Of the 29 who ultimately qualified from NCR, 11 are Miami Valley area natives.
This year’s Ohio Amateur Championship is scheduled for July 14-18 at Zanesville Country Club. The list of area qualifiers from NCR is below:
