Scottie’s demeanor changed noticeably after the eagle on 14. It was almost like he smelled the blood in the water. Happened as soon as he hit the shot and walked back to the bag.

What is amazing is that Scheffler probably left a couple of strokes on the course by missing makeable putts and made a couple of messy bogeys. Pretty much a clinic on a tough course with fickle winds blowing.

I’ve been following DeChambeau’s YT channel for 2 years. What surprised me was he could be so off on 100-120 shots. long left or short are his typical misses and the variance looks ‘huge’ for a player at his level. I guess it has something to do with the one length thing, makes it harder to control shorter distances, given he hits the ball so long.
