Thank you guys for watching !
right here. Keep it close. Swing it out. Oh, you got to a finish position. You hit that pretty good. I’ll take that. Look at that. Good work. All right. So, when I look at your golf swing, you have a couple things really going for you. You have good arm structure. You have good club face control. The one thing you do is you cut across the golf ball massively. All right? and you do all sorts of little tricks down at impact to try and get the ball to go back to your target. The reason you cut across it boils down to physics. Okay? The more the hands work out, the more the club’s going to want to fall behind you. The more they work down, the more the club’s going to go away from you. Club’s going away from you now. And the problem isn’t the arm structure. It is the fact that you get zero turn. So, what I’m going to have you do, scoot away from that golf ball just a little. No, no, no. I didn’t want you to walk away from it. Scoot back just a little bit. Now feel a little bit more hunch over here to the golf ball. Beautiful. Okay. Now when you start turning back, I want you to feel your right leg is going to extend and your trail hip, your right hip here is going to move back. So 3, two, one. Let’s slowly go back. So you see how much turn I got out of there? That threw your club into a position you’ve never heard of. Now that’s okay. We’ll put you in a good position for now. Push your arms away from your body a little bit. There you go. This is where you want to feel. Now crunch here to get down to the golf ball. Boom. Nope. See how you crunched your whole body? Just tilt your shoulders down. There you go. There you go. Beautiful. Stay there. Let’s refix this. Now your hands went from being over your lead shoe to being in a position where now they’re closer to the heel. Does that make sense? Yes. That’s where we want to go. Now lift your arms up. There you go. And out. See that feel? But you still got to crunch here when you do. There you go. There you go. You got to be able to see that golf ball. Can you see it? Yeah. Perfect. So, that’s the position I want you to feel at the top of your back swing every time. So, set up for me. Try and take it back there. Control it with your right leg turning. Keep your head in check. Wow. Wow. Okay. We could say goodbye to the 90s real fast if you’re going to learn how to do that. Okay. So, what I’m going to have you do, I’m going to have you give me what we call freezer. So, set up. Take it back and stop. Beautiful. Now, when you give me this freezer, I’m going to have you take it back and look at your arm structure. See, you get your hands back. They’re good. Okay. Now, look back at the golf ball. Try and hit that golf ball. Pretty good. So, go ahead and make one swing for me. Go ahead and hit it. Get that big turn. I’m going to keep you in place here. Stop at the top. Okay. So, you see how the body is really racked and the head’s in place. Go ahead and turn through and hit it. Okay. Now, see how much pressure is staying on this back foot? Yeah. Okay. We need to get everything moving towards our target. So, I want to feel when I’m rotating this lead side out of the way. I’m going to push up out of that trail foot. I’m going to try and push my pelvis towards the target. Does that make sense? Get everything. Yes. So, when you do that, you see how this foot is straight up and down. Pressure is down here in the toes. Yes. And you have most of your pressure in that lead foot now. Okay, that’s where we want you to get with all your finish positions. Right there. Get it around. Push it out. Now you’re getting yourself in a good position, but the final thing you’re doing that’s killing you is you’re bringing your arms this way. Okay. I want you to feel that the hands are going to stay as far behind you when you start your transition down and the club’s going to come more from the inside. Okay? You’re coming over the top. Right now, everything else looks good. You’re getting the pressure forward. But when everything moves this way away from your body, you put yourself in a bad position. So go up, start coming down. This is your feel working into the golf ball. And that the hands have to throw the club that direction. Let me see you try it. I’m going to keep you stable. Throw it out. Keep it close. Yes. Right here. Keep it close. Swing it out. Ow. You got to a finish position. You hit that pretty good. I’ll take that. Look at that. Good work. Okay, so I’m watching you still struggling a little bit with pressure movement. Okay, now you’ve made some big strides over the years, but the pressure movement still isn’t there. You’re still trying to go back and help the golf ball up in the air. Okay, we have to avoid that movement. We have to get you on top of the golf ball. We have to get you creating compression and we have to get that solid golf shot. So, set up for me. No, no ball. No ball. Just go up to the top of your back swing and stop for me. Okay. Stop up top. I get up. Cool. When you’re coming down, I need you to feel pressure right here into this lead part of your foot. Okay. See, you’re leaning a little too hard. Let’s try that again. Go up and stop. Pressure here without taking your chest on top of it. So, look at that knee. See how that goes around? Now, the pressure’s out there. Correct. Yep. You haven’t leaned forward at all. But the pressure is moving into the correct position. So the chest is going to stay centered. That knee going out and around is going to move the pressure in the outside ball of the foot. Now from there, as you keep coming down, you’re going to want to feel like you launch the pressure backwards and you get your chest working around. So stay there. Stay there. Slowly come through impact. See how I move you through? See how your chest stays on top of the golf ball? See how this lead leg is now completely extended? So, we can learn how to do that. Let me borrow this. Stand over there by Maxi. I’m just going to have you hit a couple little half bunts here where you set up. You go back to here and you launch that lead side up. So, you see how straight my lead leg is? Just a little half swing bunt where you work the pressure up and around. Okay. Get in there. Get me a ball. Take that half swing. Launch out of the lead side. Go back and freeze. Just do a nice little freezer for me. There you go. Launch. Okay. See, you’re still going back. You’re doing everything you can to sit on that front foot. Now, the goal is when you stop, go back there. Half half back swing. Stop for me. Pressure into this lead side. Get that knee around. Stay there. Now, launch it around. There you go. See how more pressure is on that front foot when you do that? That’s the goal. That’s the feel. Do those half swings halfway back. Pressure launch through. I have you in a position. Go up to the top where you’re really rotating your body. But the thing that gets you is you pull the arms down behind you in front of your turn and get stuck. Okay? And then everything flips out. We had one disaster. You’re so stuck you hit the end of the pole. Okay? Go up for me again. I want you because you’re pretty flat here, which is fine. You have a short back swing. It’s a good matchup to feel as though the body is going to push the club back out in front of you. So, look back here. Okay. Now, don’t rotate your chest too far out early. Keep your head there. Look back where the club is. See how it’s hiding in your hands? Yep. That’s the position you want to be in when your club parallel on the downside. Okay. From here, you could just rip it around the corner up to your finish position. But if you’re way behind, it’s going to be going too far out to the right. Okay. Get your base a little bit wider and get both your toes pointed out. Okay. Go up to the top of your back swing. Now, I want you to make sure you feel that the top of your back swing, the pressure is staying on the inside part of this foot. It’s rolling out and staying there as you try and come down. Keep it on the inside part. Now, turn down to the golf ball. Keep your head on top of it. There you go. Now, see how much this knee is already pushed in? Yep. Get it back here. Still keep pressure back there. You want start. You’re leaning right again. Start over. Don’t try and get forward. Go up. Don’t think of getting forward out of that trail foot. Think of just taking this knee around, creating space, and then pushing that up and back and letting that drive this foot. So, a lot of players think that you need to push this direction out of the trail foot. I want you to drag this side around with your lead hip. That’s the difference. Yep. Drag it around. There you go. Do it again. Drag it. Set up to a golf ball. Try and hit it. I want you to feel you’re dragging it through. That’s better. That’s a good shot. Just make sure you’re not trying to push that direction. You’re pulling everything through with your lead side. Hey guys, if you enjoyed that video, please like, comment, and subscribe.
