the weigh in. This is his time to shine. This is his moment. But it is no easy task going in against one of the best talents we have in Misfits. I’ll say it again. This ain’t New York, not this ain’t Chicago. This is the end. The champ, Idris Virgo. There he is. The unbeaten light heavyweight champion Idris Virgo has been booed out of every building in Derby. The hatred has been as palpable as Mac on cheese. Riley, but where he needs to be. He’s landing when he needs to land. And Idris is just swinging air as you can see there. How can I get on the inside of Tom Mitchell? He’s got to do some really passive footwork, cut some angles, find his way in. He’s got to set traps right here. And I think it just landed maybe one punch. I mean, Tai all day right now, keeping him perfectly at range. Nice combo from Mitchell. A left hand to close out round number one of eight potentially for the Pro Light Heavyweight Championship. Ver comes out swinging. Tai has to not get overconfident. He had to stick to his game plan. Oh, left hook connects on Berggo. Virgo wears it well. A lot more intensity this round from B. He is showing levels right now. A lot of composure. Maybe not sure exactly where to go, what to do to get in. I’ve been saying all week, I believe this was a true 50/50 fight. Man, 1 minute into the second round, it is not looking to be. That’s the case. Another left hand from Mitchell stops [Applause] Fergus shots really well. A lot of accuracy from Tai and the speed. Speed of accuracy to top Mitchell feeling himself inside the ring, bouncing off of the ropes. No concern for him as we approach the final minute of round number two. It’s too early to be this confident though. He’s got to stay disciplined. He still has an undefeated robots in front of him. Absolutely right. We saw how things go. When you get too overconfident, you’re complacent. Round three ahead. Oh, Dress coming in with a new game plan. It seems reinvigorated energy. He knows what he was trying before. Whatever it was wasn’t working. So, more hand movement, some more faints could work well for round. Well, this could be the difference between a true boxer and somebody who just coasted to easy wins against lower level opponents. Can he adapt? Can he make the changes that’s needed? This is the time where he has to show us who he really is because there’s still plenty of time to work. We’re in round three of eight. Uh and the champ insisted on the eight rounds himself. Tone Ty Mitchell looking at him claiming the throne here in round number three. Huge combinations landed. The knees lock up of Idris Ferggo, but he’s able to wear weather the storm for now. We’ll talk about that storm. A lot of lightning and thunder connecting onto the chin of Idris Ferggo. Ty Mitchell. Stinky Mitchell [Applause] W. And that’s it. The new Tom Mitchell in his hometown becomes the first man to defeat Idris Ferggo. The body breaker was broken in Derby. A perfect night. Every round, every minute. He controls the fight. And when it came time to close this show, he did it in through and just destabilized the champion. Dangerous Virgo trying to recover. Tried to get himself back into this, but Mitchell laser like shots on the chin. Is a warrior. He never quit. Look at that flush. I mean, it was a matter of time and I think the referee showed some grace there as well. winner by TKO and the new Misfits Boxing Pro Light Heavyweight Champion of the World, Ty the Darthy Banger Mitchell.

  1. Idris Virgo is a terrible boxer, and a even worse sportsman!

He fought badly and took his loss badly!

He looked pointlessly to his corner as the referee announced Mitchell's well merited victory!

    Idris isn't champion material!

    👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!!

  2. I don't know what Idris was doing. He should have realized that going first wasn't going to work against a slick, quick-footed counter-puncher like Mitchell. Instead of being on the front-foot, he should've allowed Mitchell to come forward, wait for him to over-commit, and then punish him with counters; counter the counter-puncher. I guess Idris wasn't confident in his defense, and tbh I don't blame him when he's training in an MMA gym that only focuses on training cardio and durability.

  3. I mean kinda should’ve let Mitchell unload on idris to see if he was really hurt kind of an early stoppage would’ve liked to see if idris would go down

  4. Oi, mate, that's only his second win in his career, and he's already a champ! What on earth did I just clock?

  5. very early stoppage cause there was like 3 seconds left of the round they need proper reffs if they wanna be taken seriously

  6. Idris looked so different this fight, he was extremely slow, super sluggish, like he was gasssed from the very beginning. i dont remember him fighting like this before. What happened to him? Is everything okay? lol
