Earlier this year PGA Tour youngster Ben Griffin won his first tournament – though he didn’t do it alone.

He and partner Andrew Novak won the Zurich Classic, a two-man team event, which officially marked his first win. Following the tournament, Griffin’s fiancee, Dana Myeroff shared a heartfelt message for her future husband.

“First PGA tour win 🥹 The passion, perseverance, and heart you pour into everything you do inspires me every single day. It’s so special to watch your childhood dream come true. I will forever be your #1 fan ❤️ Shoutout @andrewnovakgolf and @maddie.myers.novak for being the best team,” she said.

Fast forward to just under a month later and Griffin is in position for another big win. Heading into the final round of the Charles Schwab Challenge, Griffin owns the co-lead at 13-under with Matti Schmid.

Before his final round tees off, Griffin’s future wife shared his strong message.

“Yeah I’m a PGA Tour winner now, so that helps,” Griffin said. “I’m going into tomorrow really confident. I feel like I’m in a really good spot. It seems like me and Matti are going to kind of duel it out a little bit based on the way the leaderboard is – at least try to take advantage of the leads we have over third and fourth. Pedal is going to be down, excited to get back out there, you know, there’s some birdie holes out there to start the round tomorrow. Excited to go at it and see what I can do.”

Griffin and Schmid enter the final round with a four-shot lead over Rickie Fowler, who sits in solo-third.
