how that feel hi lucky Andrew Andrew what a pleasure good to meet you I wish I was lucky sometimes I do too luy here’s the deal we’ve captured a little bit of data on some of those swings there we see Club speed is in the mid to Upper 80s okay uh we see that that L shot 219 yards and I know that you’re capable of more you know you’re capable of more that’s certainly why you’re here what do we need to do and when I look at your golf swing I think to myself how can we get this golfer’s speed to line up with impact and that’s really I would like the Apex of your speed to occur as the club head gets to the golf ball and that’s how we’re going to start to get more well you know I’ve been playing for 71 years and I play with these kids all the time and they all Drive Me by 100 100 yards now I know they’re young and I know they’re strong and I know I’m old but I’m not weak yet and it really bothers me to see them do that and I think with the right technology I should be able to do that too and it’s interesting you mentioned the word technology lucky because I really think it’s all about the right technique technique okay okay there is no technology that’s going to help you gain that extra 2030 yards but if you get the right technique and really the right concept and start to apply that to your impact position Bull’s going to go I’m I’m here I want to learn here’s let’s do this I’m going to take your club I’m going to use the same kind of golf balls you’ve just been hitting and I’m going to do what I can to swing at your speed and show you how you can start to use that speed to hit it longer I’m in let’s take a look hang on to that for me amazing how far did that go lucky 249 249 okay what te what was the club speed okay and we see you were 88 I was 89 and all of a sudden 249 interesting difference come on let’s get to work we’ve got some work to do you grab your Club get yourself set up there and we are going to go to work and one of the things I would like to do we’re not going to try to get you to swing harder we’re not going to try to pressure your body I’m not going to try to get you to turn more if anything I’m going to get you once you get up to the top I want you to feel like you’re going to pause you’re going to hold up there okay we’re going to we’re going to just take a little break at the top and as you start down the feeling I would love for you to have is you’re going to keep your back to the Target so it’s up to the top pause and then we’re just going to let the arm swing through okay I want you these first couple of shots we don’t need to hit these hard but you’re going to really try to see if you can hit these shots where the back is staying your back is staying to the Target the no turn down swing that back is going to stay to the Target you’re going to let the arms in the club release so that everything’s lining up coming into impact do this for me set up inside the bow I just want to show you this practice swing okay so from there I want you to take it up to the top okay so now as we as we start down from here I want you to feel like you’re going to come down feel like you’re back staying to the Target okay okay that’s the sense that we’re going to look for okay I want you to feel we’re not going to hit the gas and try to get you to swing harder we’re going to really work at it a little smarter instead of harder and so up to the top I want you to feel like the arms are going to come down as the back stays to the Target okay you’re almost going to have a sense that you’re set up a little bit to the right as you get up to the top the back stays to the Target the arms are going to swing to the right okay show me I’m not a quick that’s okay neither am I we’re a good team oh I got to tell you that is a draw straight we’re off to a good start here lucky it felt very well that was nice it felt good okay it was like a lag exactly okay we had some of this you kept that energy in your downswing and you were able to release it at the golf ball without getting out in front of it and not releasing at the right time I love to do that I like I I finish like this I feel like sometimes so you’re telling me I think I can do that here we go I got you I know you can do that let’s let’s check those numbers just hold it club path was the straightest one of the day um that was like this is kind of cool that was uh 5 m hour slower you’re kidding it was 5 miles hour slower and uh like six yards longer so there’s more there’s more we got more than six we don’t don’t make videos for six yards keep that back keep your back closed as you get up top there okay I like it I like it on this one I want I want you to try to see if you can on the way down you’re getting up to the top pausing at the feeling that little pause that back’s going to stay closed to the Target I want you to almost from here try to see if you can release that energy the club to make the ball go to the left see if we can just intentionally hit this one to the left yes please you got this well done well done exactly what I’m looking for you did but that’s okay I would much rather lucky I would honestly having Tau a lot of your peers over the years I would much rather early on that you overdo certain elements versus underdo okay we can always learn to back off of those overcooked factors I like that keep that up again same thing please okay that was close that was close come on on this one I’m going to once again set up to the bow for me okay take it up to the top all the way up there okay so now as you come down I want you to shift into my hand you’re going to shift your weight don’t hang back you’re going to push this way there let those arms come down keep this back closed there you feel that that’s what I’m after okay here we go so it’s up and there that feel okay we’re going to keep your body closed for longer in the downswing and yeah allow that face to get over from there just go ahead and throw it yeah I want you to feel like you’re going to throw that club Ed coming into impact Let It Go body’s going to wind and stay closed well done that was nice I like that that Ball’s got a little bit more like that’s got a little you should that Ball’s got a little more Sizzle to it there lucky okay now let’s look at some of those numbers uh Club speed that was a nice easy swing and the interesting thing is that was 7 milph slower and actually went 5 yards longer than where we started okay interesting isn’t it interesting now I know that you’ve got a lot more in the tank I know that you can ramp up that club speed once we start to get comfortable I want you to get up to the top back stays to the Target and we’re really going to allow those arms to get thrown down into impact and line this up at impact arms it’s not snapping in the wrist that’ll happen it’ll happen that’ll happen correct thank you then I won’t worry about don’t worry about it thank you sir set up a little to the right for me shoulders and feet okay get that body closed and leave it there that’s the one that’s the one how’ that feel I’m close I think we’re gaining that was close right I think we’re gaining that was a little more yeah that was a much better I like the numbers there that if you do that you’re going to be able to hit drawers you’re going to be able to hit drawers and I know you don’t hit a lot of drawers do you they tend to be pools and Fades pulls and Fades got old yeah what that’s like a week right yeah right it’s been a while yes you got the idea set up to the right get the body closed keep it closed come on rip it that’s the one we’re off to like just stay where you want me a little longer keep your hand keep your hand right there I want you to let it let this hand go let this hand go let that hand go okay like if if I’m going to do this how much holding on do you see in my right hand as I do this that’s the feel do that for me do that for me let me hold that no no no Club I want no Club you’re going to you’re going to clap hands for me there give me a louder clap here watch me watch me watch don’t think about your ride on yeah interesting that’s what we’re after we’re going to let that club simp yeah simple we’re going to let that speed go make it simple stupid I know I have a hard time with that oh we’re starting to make gains that was 14 yards longer right there body staying closed let it go throw that clubette into this impact oh God that looks like 23040 let me give you the News That’s 239 that’s 20 that’s plus 20 okay that’s plus 20 and here a here’s at 3 miles hour slower 20 longer at three slower this stuff work I really like of that yes I did too I did too come on Wow give us another one you know what the best part about it is what I think I can do that you can do this and the thing is I can repeat it yeah for sure you understand it you don’t need to go out there and spend hours practicing it’s really just the case of okay I’ve got the concept up to the top get my body loaded up you do a good job with that already now let’s just try to feel like we’re going to keep our chest away from the target our back to the Target and allow the hands and arms to go I like that yeah I like that you know what I like about it I didn’t hit it sweet and I can still play and it’s still went right it’s still went yes for sure for sure come on one more I want you to set up to the right and see if you can hit this big sweeping hook for me here please lucky that’s a tough visual that’s hard for you because your bull wants to go to the right come on trust it we got a bunch of golf balls here if if this doesn’t work we’ll just hit another one no we’ll we’ll make it for got a good teacher there we go how’s that how’s that that one went 250 I got to tell you this there was no luck involved there was no luck involved in that one that was 245 okay 245 it’s all wedges left for me if I got that that’ be nice playing from those I play yeah and you’re playing from the right spot we want you to be able to get closer to the green have more fun make the game easier I know I want that for you lucky thanks so much really appreciate you coming out I’m okay let it go let go thanks
