Harry Newman, Ryan Hall and Sam Lisone were the try scorers in a Yorkshire derby win for the Rhinos against Castleford Tigers.

misses the last one. Ball back across now. They’re going to float the kick. Azie’s looking for Seni. Sini got up, but he couldn’t take it. Connor takes it in goal. Oh, now he was tripped up. He was tripped up here and this is going to be a huge problem for Castleford. That’s a professional foul. Murvo. Someone could be going in the bin. And that someone is leads in a tight game. Right. We understood it earlier cuz we’re down at 12. That was a pretty straightforward kick. They’re running it again. They want more than the two. Here’s Connor. Gets it away. Here he is. The wrecking ball. Sandler. Sunny goes through. Great introduction. Wonderful use of the substitute bench from Leads. Couple of tackles left. Can leads add to their lead here. Here’s Holoid. Lays down a platform again, bumping his way forward. Is there a short side play on last tackle? No, they’re going to Jake Connor. Connor’s going for the one-pointer and he takes the one and as cool as you like. Leaves lead by seven. [Applause] Well, good run there and away come the Tigers. Senior on the shoulder. Senior has he got the pace? Newman’s after him. Castleford are going to land at the field. Try Tigers. Lewis Senior’s first start of the season. But it all came from the carrot. A bump. It’s Broady Croft who can’t get hold of Alex Meer. leads on the prowa gets it away to Croft. Croft rolls it through the line. Newman’s after it. Senior. Oh, he’s dropped it. I think Newman’s got a hand on this. This is going to be a try for Leads. Newman celebrates as Broady Croft handles this ball. You can see the space behind the defensive line. Croft gets the ball now. Rolls the kick in, bounces up and will get hold. Can he get it down? He does get it down in the corner. Too big, too strong. Ryan Hall doesn’t want to get carried over the sideline. Doesn’t want the defender to push him. Last one here. Here. Now is Connor. This time he does bring it down under the post. Watkins backs it back. Smith looking for a pass. Gets it away. Here’s Newman. Double for Leads. Newman’s in and then James McDonald unselfishly finds a pass and it’s a fairly basic simple put down for Harry Newman. Seven remaining here. Can’t credit Castleford enough for their defensive efforts but it’s just a weight of territory and possession. Another high kick. Miller bats it back. Big Sams in again. They won’t stop him from there. Miller’s back and Sam Lasani celebrates a double. It’s batted back in field and Sam Lonnic with his second try. Delighted. Watch his face. Watch his smile.

  1. When will Castleford learn to play properly? There is no place for cheats in this game. Also when will Leeds start to put games to bed? They have failed to do so all season long.
