Contested each May, the PGA Championship is the second major championship in golf’s annual rotation and perennially features the strongest field in the men’s game based on the Official World Golf Rankings. Known for dramatic finishes and notable champions, the Wanamaker Trophy—which has been awarded to the winner since 1916—is inscribed with names such as Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Jack Nicklaus, and Gary Player.
The 2025 PGA Championship is set to take place between 15-18 May at Quail Hollow Club. The reigning champion is Xander Schauffele.

Scheffler hit errant drives and got lucky a few times and putted like God. Bryson drove the ball great but stuggled a bit with his irons.

Golf highlight videos are basically just annoying people yelling "get in the hole" every two seconds.
I wish his short iron game was as on point as the driver's. It would have been a different outcome. Also, the greens were hard and not very receptive to the draw spin. Scottie's other important attribute is his temperament. He never gets rattled and compounds his errors.

Scottie barely hit a fairway goin' out, Bryson lasered his long bombs and like golf has been forever its what happens inside 100 mtrs that really matters and it'll stay that way even if a newbie comes along and hits his drives 400 mtrs. Short game is everything even more so at this level.
He's good, but Scottie's just on a completely different level. Still a top 10 player of this generation though.

Sooner or later Bryson was going to show the field he can it a PW 200 yards. That par 3 cost him a chance to contend on Sunday.😞 It sucks because he really had a chance. But Bryson will be Bryson that’s why we love him.
First hole just showed how erratic he is. He has to scramble on half the holes. He's just not good enough.

I've never tried one length clubs, but my perception is that trying to keep the higher lofted irons out of the stratosphere puts additional pressure on controlling your swing speed. that's one more knob to turn and I already have enough problem hitting the middle of the face. I suspect the different shaft length clubs evolved from same length shafts.
Everyone loves to hate on Bryson but I don’t see the point. He had not a great round. Congrats to Scotty but saying Scotty is levels above is just crazy. First and second guys
