The Big Rig Harry Higgs puts tour caddies Mark Picanso and Mark Carens to the test in this episode of Caddie Games, presented by @Knockaround.

The intersection of golf and culture.

Behind every drained putt or hosel rocket into the stands is a human being with complex emotions—among them, an insatiable appetite for golf. That’s what we’re after. Golf’s humanity is what makes it so special to us. There have never been more reasons to love this game, and we’re endeavoring to explore them all.

Hi, my name is Harry Higs and I’m here with Matt Panso, Mark Harren, and this is the Caddy [Music] Games. Let’s do this. Let’s roll. [Music] Caddyy Games is a series of challenges to see who’s the best caddy. At the end of it, the winner 500. Cold hard cash. We like cash. [Music] This is challenge number one. Divot time trial. I’m going to hit an 85 yd shot. Once the ball lands, each will run, grab the divot, bring it back. Whoever’s the fastest wins. All right, Pico, you’re first. Let’s go. Let’s run. 85 yds. Once it lands, you run. [Music] and go. That’s kind of a job. Oh no, he dropped it. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Pico’s pretty confident that Mark’s not going to run very fast. That was terrible. 8.7. That only went like 12 yards. 4 seconds there. 4 seconds back. Yeah. All right. Okay, Mark, you ready? Sure. [Music] That one went even closer. He’s going to smoke me. [Laughter] That might be a winner, dude. 5.2. Thanks for only putting it so close right there. You made his go like over there. After the first challenge, Mark Karens took the W 3 seconds faster than Pico. We’re on to challenge number two. Quick draw. We’re going to call this. Our holsters will be our right pocket. On the count of three, the boys are going to turn around. Whoever shoots the back flag says it aloud first wins the challenge. All right. On the count of three. 1 2 3. Go. 88. 81. All right. Well, 88. 81 and 88. Mark got it first. Does it have to be accurate? Well, I got 82. It looks like Pico’s closest. I think we got to give it to Pico. Look, look at mine. Well, I’m getting 125. Well, I get 84.9 there. Right in the middle. We’re going to give that one to Pico. Challenge number three. We’re tied up at one. We’re going to do like the newlywed game. There’s five questions. Neither one of these guys knows me that well. They certainly know me, but maybe not that well. Basically, whoever’s answer I like the best is going to win. Uh, first question, boys. If I could play one course for the rest of my life, what would it be? [Music] All right, answers. Pebble Beach, Pebble and Augusta. Augusta is the winner for sure. Sorry, Mark. What’s my favorite club in the bag? Well, I don’t even know if I know that. What do we got? Driver and putter. I’d have to go driver there. Sorry, Pico. One. One. This will be a good one. If I wasn’t a golfer, what would I be doing? Next one. What do we got? Bus. Bus driver. Podcast. I feel like I got to go with podcast host. I don’t know that I’d be doing either one. I mean, fair play to you, Mark. Fair play. I don’t like that one, though. Two. One. All right. What’s my favorite post round meal? And I don’t even know if I know the answer to this. That’s not a meal, Mark. Pico, double cheeseburger with fries and a milkshake. Boy, that make it hard to play the next day. McDonald’s. We’ll say McDonald’s. I haven’t eaten McDonald’s in 10 years. But all right, two to two. Oh, if I could change one rule on tour, what would it be? I already know this one. I know him well enough. Admittedly, there’s probably a few that I would change. You know him. Yeah. Okay, that’s pretty good, too. Mark says no. OB, Pico says mudballs. I’d definitely go with mudballs. It’s the only thing in our game that requires zero skill. Last challenge here. Pico’s up 2-1 over Mark. Blindfold putting. I’m going to put this blindfold on. They’re each going to pick a putt and they’re going to really truly have to hold my hand. Walk me to the ball. Aim me. Tell me whether it’s uphill, downhill. Whoever’s the closest after I hit the putt wins the challenge. Let’s rock and roll. Okay. Talk to me, Mark. Okay. It’s a little left to right, downhill. Left to right, down. So, yeah. Why don’t you just move the I’m going to Yeah. That’s money right there. And so just think of it as like cuz it’s downhill, just think of it as like a 6ft putt. 6T putt. Yeah. Okay. Center cut. Center cut. You got to know you’re going to make it. All right. That’s the key. Everybody ready? Feel it. I mean, impeccable speed here. Read. Might not have been the best read, but I bet I didn’t hit it quite hard enough. Let’s hold my hand. Big bite. Y. Yay. [Music] So, that’s you’re directly behind the ball now. So, take your stance like get set up like spacing wise where you think you want to be here. We’re good. That’s pretty good. It’s a little It may be just a touch uphill, but it’s going to break right to left. How far is this? Like 10 ft? Yeah. But I think you’re going to hit it 8 and 1/2 9 ft. Mine’s perfect. A I healed it. Looks like Pico’s the winner, guys. Easy does it. That was it, guys. Caddy Games presented by Knockaround. Pico took down Mark. Three to one. Pico, slow and steady. $500 cash. Well done. Enjoyed it. See you boys later. All right, Marky. Where am I taking you to dinner? Wherever you want. You got to buy some beers. You got to buy some beers with 500 IPAs.
