Today we’re diving into all the excitement surrounding round two of the 2025 Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas. Yesterday’s first round gave us plenty to talk about. PGA Tour rookie John Pac turned heads with a bogey-free 7under 63, grabbing the early lead by three shots. His game looked sharp, composed, and confident. Definitely someone to watch as we move into day two. Meanwhile, world number one Scotty Sheffller, fresh off his PGA Championship win, carded a solid 68. Not spectacular by his standards, but it’s enough to keep him well within striking distance. And you know, with Sheffller, anything can happen once he gets rolling. Now, let’s talk about today’s tea times. John Pac heads out in the afternoon at 2:40 p.m. ET paired with Ricky Castillo and Jeremy Paul. Jordan Spe te’s off earlier at 1:45 p.m. ET alongside Chris Kirk and Tommy Fleetwood. As for the odds, no surprise here. Scotty Sheffller remains the favorite at plus 250. He’s in great form and always dangerous. Jordan Speath and Daniel Burgerer are hovering in the mix, while Tommy Fleetwood could be a dark horse if his putter gets hot. And if you like a good long shot, keep an eye on guys like Ameliano Grill or Adam Shank. Both have the kind of game that can catch fire at Colonial. Round two is shaping up to be a thrilling day of golf. Can Pack hold on to the lead? Will Sheffler charge up the board? We’ll be watching every swing and I’ll be back with a full breakdown after the round.
