[Music] All right, guys. We have made it out to uh the area where I’m going to be getting fit. And Chris is going to be my fitter. He’s going to be doing everything for me and I’m excited. Thanks for being here. This is going to be really neat. And he’s going to give you a rundown. Um he’s already taken a bunch of specs on my current clubs and he has some stuff written down here and he’s going to give you guys a rundown on kind of what we’re going to be working on and like how we’re starting out. This is kind of baseline. Um so let’s get right into it. Yeah. So when I get a player, I usually want to look at their bag and find out their specs. And usually, you know, you hope not to see anything weird, but sometimes you do. And with your sex, we found something just a few things that were weird, right? Your four iron loft was 24°. Uh your five iron loft was 26°. So, doesn’t mean it’s wrong. It just kind of that’s where my curiosity kind of starts to spike where, you know, what’s the distance gap between these two golf clubs, right? And then the lie angles were a little funky down there in the three iron and the 5iron. Okay. Right. Your three iron is more upright than your four iron. Oh, wow. Okay. But I mean it doesn’t mean it’s wrong, right? Sometimes like that is possible but it’s just not common, right? So that’s when my curiosity kind of gets heightened and that’s where I want to maybe take an extra dive in with you on your clubs. And then the driver, you know, your driver’s 44 in which I don’t hate having a shorter driver. The head weight though is really light for that length. Okay. So swing weight, you know, is a little compromised. It’s C8. Again, we don’t know if it’s wrong until we test it, right? Well, that one might be wrong because of where I hit it. That’s why I hit mini driver right now. Yeah, I know you’ve had some driver issues. So, that’s kind of where I wanted to look, too. Um, but we really don’t know anything until we get golf balls in the air. And so, what I want to do is start start with your clubs, kind of run you through your seven iron, run you through your 5 iron. I definitely want to see you hit your 4 iron, right? Cuz I want to see what’s going on. And then we’ll go over the numbers and I’ll kind of just look for what we see. And I’ll say, look, like this is what I like to see. This is what I don’t like to see. Mhm. And then we’ll see if we can’t get you something better. You were saying earlier you really look for like peak height. And is that something you try to match like throughout the whole bag? Yes. And I’ll I’ll talk through that once we get through your clubs. But yeah, there’s fitting is not as hard as maybe some people make it think, but don’t tell don’t tell my boss that. Right. It’s just if you look for certain things like there’s it’s a really kind of an easy way to see like when and where you should break a set. You know, why do 90% of tour players play a combo set? Right. Right. And I think I think the average consumer thinks that you know tour players make their four iron bigger for forgiveness which surely maybe that’s the case but you know working with some tour players they don’t need a lot of forgiveness right they make their foreiron bigger for usually ball flight goals distance goals land angle goals right so our fitting philosophy is big on the 3Ds okay right which is distance dispersion and descent okay and you can’t really you can’t have one and not the other right if I build you a distance iron it’s going to go really far, but it’s not going to stop. And stop is descent. Yeah. Right. So, there’s kind of this sweet combo where you need all three to work together to play good golf. You know, hitting the ball the furthest doesn’t always, you know, shoot the lowest score. Yeah. No kidding. I think you can hit the ball pretty far, too. So, now we just got to work on shooting the lowest score, right? You got to get it here. Um, so guys, I’m excited for this. You guys know that I just absolutely nerd out when it comes to numbers, and you guys are about to get a lot of that today. And I know that you guys like it, too. So, let’s get right into it. Uh I’m going to hit some 7 irons and then we’re going to get into the weeds. That’s right. We’ll start with this. Uh what what golf ball competitor ball you in right now. Um the T uh TP5X. So the less spinny one. Perfect. So we’re going to start with uh 25 Prov1. Okay. Right. So this is a a new golf ball for us. Um excited to see what you think. And we we have some 25 X’s here. Okay. You know, when we talk about ball fitting, it always starts wedges, green side, and works back. Um, so we’ll definitely kind of work through some golf ball, too. So, I’ll be testing golf balls as we’re fitting. And then when we go do wedges, we’ll make sure we validate which one we like the most. Sweet. I love that target for us. Middle tree, smallest one in between the two, kind of right down the middle. Okay. But, Michael, what I’m looking for here is I want your good shot. So, I want we’re going to have you hit I’m going to say three to I want three to five shots that I call eight out of 10 or higher. And if if it’s a big outlier or miss, I’ll just delete it. Okay. Just in case you’re nervous. Perfect. Just a groove low. Dead straight though. Yeah. Nice there. That was really good. Also, Chris, you got to tell them about the divot patterns cuz people are going to start freaking out when they see me. Yeah. So, here at TPI, we actually like our divots to all be separate. We want no lines, no boxes. Um, a checkered board is a great example. Um, everyone asks us why. Um, you know, golf courses do the lines in boxes to save space. I don’t know if the camera gives it justice, but we have a lot of space here. Um, and our greenskeeper finds that, you know, it’s easier to grow a divot than it is a line or a hole. Okay. Right. Yeah. So, look at this right here. This was my warm-up pattern. So, for all the people that are going to freak out about that, uh, and it helps us, um, helps me see Langle, too. Yeah. [Applause] Yeah. Mike, you want to meet Aaron? Yeah, of course. How you doing? I’m Micah. Pleasure to meet you. Good to meet you. I’ll see you this afternoon. Awesome. I’m excited. It’s going to be a lot of fun. That’s going to be great. Make sure you get a lot of div. Oh, yeah. I’m going to I want to make a a reel that’s specific to just like divots like that and people are going to love it. Lose their mind. People are going to go home to their home ranges and start doing it and they just get in trouble. Like the reason we can do it is we have this. Yeah. All right. All you guys good to meet you. How far does a 7 iron go at home? Uh like 185. Should be about the same here because there’s the elevation is the same. Yeah. You’re 83 on the good one. What’s the shape you like? Draw. Yeah, just a little draw. Probably my my big or my miss with my irons is always just like a it it’s not a double cross, but it goes left. Like I just miss it left. Start left. Yeah. Start start left stays left. Kind of hooks. Solid. Yeah, that was a good one. This is going to be fun cuz you don’t miss it too often. Oh, you don’t have to wait as long and you get three good ones. So, now it’s at your five iron. Four or five really pretty solid shots. Yeah. Same target and kind of the same idea. Okay, that was pretty good, man. It It feels so It feels so good to hit off a nice grass. It’s just a It’s just a real special feeling. Oh, that was a bad one. How far does a five iron go at home? 215, maybe. 212, 215. Yeah. Smoke there. Yeah. Yeah, that was a good one. Little bit of a miss. just it was just a groove heavy maybe. But see a couple four irons and then we’ll chat. That’s pretty typical for this club. Not your favorite club? No. Yeah. Solid there. Yeah. Yeah. That was a lot better. All right. Since it’s not your favorite, we’ll just take one with the four iron. Okay. Let’s talk. I’ll delete the first one. So, we’ll just have one with your 4 iron. Okay. Okay. So, I’ll kind of run you through what I look for in fitting. And you got a little ahead talking. I maybe I spoke too soon about the apexes, but this is where we’ll we’ll kind of dive into your golf clubs, right? So, job number one in fitting to me is your ball speed as the fitter, right? I’m trying to flatline your ball speed. Okay. We know flatline ball speeds go flatline distances, right? So, you’re pretty good here. This was the one you hit at the end. That’s the long left. That’s that pull you were talking about, right? So ball speed jumped to 131. Okay. And then so Carrie went to 189. Oh yeah, that’s that’s trouble, right? But uh your good ones 1288, 128.2, 129.9, 128.6. So there was five there. They’re almost perfect. They’re all they’re all perfect, right? I mean the these five are really really good. And you see you see your carries here are really consistent, right? Yeah. I’m going to delete the poll just for now. We’ll save it later. But I’m looking for this number right here. Okay. This is your deviation from the average. I like to call it a score, okay? Cuz it’s fun when we make a game out of anything, right? And in golf, we want to shoot the lowest score, right? 6 is excellent. Anything under one, we know is a really, really good ball striker. Okay. Right. So that’s you, your seven iron is really good. Job number two in fitting is descent or land angle. Right. Land angle for you is 51. Wow. That is PGA Tour average. It’s very good. Chris said it. I didn’t know. No, I I love seeing that because I Yeah, cuz I Yeah, cuz I’m I’m I’m I’m a pretty good golfer. You’re a really good ball striker in your seven iron. So, that’s why I brought you back down a little bit. Right. So, you know, land angle is a great term. It’s a really big term for fitters. Um, as a golfer, you know, I use land angle every day in my job. But, as a golfer, it’s a tough term for me because take my fitting hat off. I’ve been playing golf a long time and nobody’s ever said, “Hey, Mike, nice land angle.” Right? Yeah, it’s not a term we use on the golf course, right? So, I talk a lot of terms of apex, and this is that apex question we talked about. Your seven iron goes nice and high. It’s 112 to 115 ft. It’s really good. PGA Tour players live in about 110. You know, there’s PJ tour players who live in the 130s. PJ tour players live in the 120s. And the crazy part is there’s PJ tour players who live in the 85s. Really? So, you see the most variance in Apex than you do in land angle. M the entire PGA Tour lives between 48 and 53 on a 7. Wow. So there’s no no matter how no matter their apex cuz of spin, right? So if I was 48 and you were 51, we’re kind of doing the same thing, right? But if you were 115 ft and I’m 85, it would look really different to our eyes. Right. Now, the next question I ask you is one I ask all my fittings is, you know, if a PGA Tour player 7 iron goes 115 ft in the air, how high should his 4 iron go? I mean, based off of my experience, mine would go, you know, probably 90 95. That’s what everyone says, right? But then I kind of pull the curtain back and I say their four iron goes the same height at 115 ft. Right. The golf ball doesn’t change its apex. It just hits it at a different point in the range, right? It’s going to hit it hit 115 further down. Wow. Right. So, in fitting, we want every club to have a job. Mhm. Every every club to to do something different. So, every club in your bag should separate by 5 miles an hour of ball speed. It’s always job one, right? So, your seven iron is 129. Your 5 iron should be 139. It is. It’s 140, 141, right? So, it separates well. It should have a similar land angle. It’s going to drop a little because of spin. That’s okay. 44. But look how high it is. It’s not high enough. It’s only 95. It’s only 95 ft. Right now. 44 we know will stop at a lot of golf courses we play. You know, I don’t think it’s going to stop at um maybe some of these creator classic venues that you’re playing when you’re when you’re playing PGA like you’re you’re you get to play PGA Tour venues. So, you need to be able to stop the golf ball, especially where they put those pins, right? Tucked in corners, kind of up on shelves. Yeah. And then when we move on to your 4 iron, we see that it gets even flatter. Yeah. Right. It’s at 88 ft. Um and then we see separation start to get tight, too. But we knew this was going to happen because of loft. Mhm. Yeah. Right. Your five iron is 142. Yeah. Your four iron is 145. And it should be like five. 145. Yeah. You failed the first time, right? It should be like 147. Yeah. So five more than that. Yeah. And then what we see here is you hit your 5 iron 215, you hit your 4 iron 223. While eight yards is a gap, it’s not enough. Yeah. Right. And then I’d be curious to see where your three iron went. So what we see when players come out here, their seven irons are usually really good. Mhm. Cuz we’ve been fitting seven irons for 30 years. Yeah. Right. But there’s always something right here. Mhm. Right. So to me, I Your seven iron isn’t crazy, but this is where you need the help. Yeah. And I feel like that’s actually like that’s probably when I get into long irons, I you’ll my dispersion goes up, you’ll see a lot of like a lot of left shots that I just I have a really hard time controlling. So that’s like I love seeing why something is happening. It’s like a lot of times I feel like if something if if I’m not hitting it right or I’m hitting it too far left or right, then I’ll go into like trying to change something in my swing and I’ll get so like in my head it’s like and that really messes anyone up when you start thinking too much about swing when it’s like it sometimes could be the fact that I’m just not hitting the right club. golfers are like good golfers are always quick to blame their swing which you know maybe sometimes it is your swing but there could be something in your clubs that contribute to your swing right so I’ll kind of show you our line of irons here kind of in order right smallest to biggest right and when you go bigger the lofts get stronger right when I fit players I’m always trying to get them further this way Mhm. If I make your seven iron this, it’s a distance seven iron. It’s a forgiving seven iron. Strong lofted. When I need help in the five iron, I have no other irons to grab to blend your set. Right. You’ll be you’ll have a bouquet of head covers. Yeah. You like that very much, right? No, I want to see less head covers in my bag. I’m always trying to fit the player in the smallest club with the most amount of loft. You’ll say if you’re seven irons here, then when we get to the five iron, I have I could use this one. I could use this one. I could use this one. I could use this one. Yeah. Right. I’m going to start you right in the middle. Okay. It’s kind of easy to work either way from there. It’s our T100. Same loft as yours, right? 34°, right? And the first thing we’ll do is let’s just try your shaft. Okay. In this head, same length, same everything. And then we’ll see what it does. And then we’ll start fitting. Thinking about going to iron head covers this year, too. Don’t do it. You imagine? Just tell everyone you’re going to start using iron head covers and then double gloves. Yeah, two gloves. Iron head covers. Double black gloves. Yeah, I’m going to There’s a PJ who does that. Two rain gloves. Oh, that’s heavy. Is it? Yeah. Feels heavier than my seven iron. Same. Is this a same lie angle? Yeah. Does it look different? I uh It feels a little bit like upright. Feels like the toe is up. Does that mean upright? That means upright. Okay. So, we’re starting out with the T100, and this is a 7iron. And this is kind of just a baseline here. Whoa, that came out way left. I thought I hit that great. Okay, let me see. Yeah, that that one didn’t like it. Feels it goes Yeah, it’s going left. Then if you don’t like I mean that second one didn’t go left but if you don’t like the way it’s if it’s set setting weird I’m glad you said something right cuz even if the numbers are good I’ll let you go home with that you’re going to call me in two weeks and like yeah these don’t work it just felt like the toe was off the was off the ground. Yeah could have been what did we just switch to? Uh so this is a slightly different shaft and I did change the lie right away just to see what it does. Oh yeah. See that feels like it’s more sitting more on the ground. Yep. Wait, say the shaft one more time. This is AMT White X100. So, it’s progressively weighted. Okay? Uh meaning it’s a little bit heavier in the long irons than yours. And then as it starts the club start to get longer, it starts to get lighter. Oh, okay. So, I’m always thinking ahead during the fitting, too, cuz a player some players will run out of swings before you can test everything. So, you always kind of got to be thinking about the next chest move here. And I think this shaft could help you in your long irons. Hit them higher. Okay. How good is that? That was beautiful. That went That went a lot farther than It did. Yeah. Yeah. So, 50° of land, 111 ft, 186 in the air. Okay, man. I hit that so good. do want to massage in here a little bit of a different golf ball. Just Okay, a couple tests here. So, we just switched to I was hitting the the Pro V. Now, this is the X, which is the more spinny. It is has a little bit more spin than Prov1, right? So, spin for a draw is your friend, right? So, like for me, when you’re hitting Prov1, your pull gets really low spin. Okay, we saw it with your clubs, too, which is why your pull goes 10 yards further, right? And then your good one, it’s it’s kind of mid spin, 64, 6,500. If I get your good one to have 7,000 of spin, 7200 on a 7 iron, then when you pull it, which golf’s hard, like I’m not a miracle, so you might still pull a shot here, but if I can get the pull to have a little bit more spin, it won’t go long left. Oh, okay. Right. So, wow, that’s really interesting. I love that. We’re going to test it, you know. That was That was neat. That was different. Yeah. Yeah. So, there’s 7,000 spin on the nose. Wow. 52 land, 117 ft, 181, right? I think sometimes, you know, spin is control, right? In the golf ball, we’re always talking about control, control, control, right? You need spin to keep your golf ball online, right? I think, you know, the the industry and players always think they need low spin stuff. In reality, like, you know, tours players spin their golf ball a lot and they’re really good at taking spin off when they need to, but spin is their friend, right? Good. I’m want to see the pole. Yeah. Cuz if I can keep the pole from from going low spin and going too far, then we’re on to something here. Yeah. So your pole there has 6,300 spin. Wow. So your pole before had 5,900 spin. That carried 184. Dang. So that like that really didn’t go much past pin high. It did not. Right. Yeah. That’s that’s incredible. And that’s why, you know, like if you hit the Prov1 when you hit it well, it was fine. Yeah. It was a good good golf ball, right? But then when you pulled it, it just spin dropped just a touch and then it went long. Prov you hit it good, it’s still great. Yeah. And then when you pull it, it still has some spin on it to keep it in the air. It’s great. That is so cool. So good. So again, I think job number one in fitting, like I talked about, is always flatlining your ball speed, right? That means consistent distance. Yeah. You’ve hit three three golf balls with this. You’re 133, 132, 132. Dang. So your your deviation in carry is nothing. Yeah. Do it again. Oh my gosh. So good right there. So, as a drawer of the golf ball, which I used to be for years, um I play my best golf. Drawers play their best golf when their ball starts right of target. Yeah. It’s when you’re just not thinking ball starting right at target and comes back. Drawers generally play their worst golf when the ball starts left of target. Yeah. Cuz then the whole round, what are they doing? Right? They’re just trying to like chuck it underneath to get it to start right. So, oh man, that is awesome. That’s why we’re testing some lie angles here, too. This was a little flatter, right? Flatter means like tow down. This way. Toe down. Yeah. Which, you know, to me, I just did it because your eyes, right? Now, I want to see what this shaft does cuz this length does at standard. Just see it. I like flat. I mean, I’m not saying it’s wrong, but I always want to test the other one to prove that the other one’s better or the first one’s better. Does that make sense? Okay. Interesting. Right. So, as you know, as good as you hit that, you see how start line just moved fractionally to the left. Yeah. Right. Again, that’s And then if I do that to you, what’s going to happen is like your next swing, you’re going to try to force it to start. Right. Right. So, and that’s what good golfers do is if I give them something that’s wrong, they’ll adjust to it. But under pressure, it’s hard to adjust to it. Right. So, you change path there. Yeah. To get to start further, right? And it’s probably just because I know it, it’s probably subconscious, even if I’m trying to make the same swing. Yeah. So, there’s a hierarchy of how you choose line goal, right? So, you choose the line goal that gives the player the fastest, most consistent ball speed or the centerness of strike. I use fastest most consistent ball speed is judging centerness of strike. Right. Okay. If I make the club, if I change the line go, you see the ball speed fluctuate a lot, generally it means you’re missing the center of the face. And there you went. Look at your deviation in ball speed on the standard line. It went up just it’s bigger, right? So, generally means you missed the center once and then you saw their hooked one the first time, right? Again, our goal is to is I don’t want to say kill you, but when I say flatline your ball speed, that’s what I mean. I just want every time you hit the golf ball, it to come off the face at the same speed. Now, I love X right now. Again, golf ball, we will validate it around the greens, right? We got to make sure you can hit all the shots. chipping, putting, you got to like the way it feels and it’s perfect cuz like that’s the start line a drawer needs. Yeah. Right. Cuz even though that stayed a yard or two right of the flag, if you’re trying to hit a draw, that’s some good shot. Yeah. Right. 183 51 landt. Oh, again. Remember your seven when you came in, Micah, it was good. Yeah. I’m not. It’s really hard to make a good club better. Yeah. If that was my job, I wouldn’t have one because there’s no room to make it better, right? So, like to me, that’s the that would have been left if it was standard live. It was I missed it ever ever so slightly. Yeah. And it probably is 10 15 ft left. Yeah. I want to let that one stay out to the right a little bit. It’s good. Ball speed’s the same. Yeah. So, when I can mis hit a little bit and the ball speed stays the same, that means like it’s still going to go the distance it needs. So, my job as a fitter, I always joke is the is the north and south dispersion. Mhm. East and west I have it’s a little bit of both, right? It’s kind of golfer and me. I got less control of east and west. But if I know I can get your north and south good, that’s pinh high. Y, right? And golf’s played really well at pin high. Yeah. What? I feel like I hit that a little heavy. Yeah. But ball speed stayed 130. Carry was 181. Wow. As good as that. Yeah. That felt like it was And that’s the key, right, to playing good golf is like how do you make your misses closer to your good shots? Mhm. So good. Wow. No, you can’t take them home. That’s good. Oh, that felt really good. I think I misread that. Hit one more. Okay. I think that seeing a little more spin is different for me cuz I’m used to seeing them off come off kind of like knuckly and just like they don’t really have a lot of like it’s not like a lot of authority to them or something like it. It’s kind of like I mean, you’re still on a tad lower on the spin side and most drawers are. Yeah. Right. That was struck so good, but I just left the face open. 32. Yeah. So, you’ve hit a lot of seven irons and it’s so good to validate it, right? Mhm. You got like 10 to 12 on here. 132 1332 132 1332 132. Dang. Kind of a broken record over here. And then you see the spin’s really consistent. Um, land angle’s really consistent. Carry is really good on the poles or the the ones to the right, right? You don’t see yardage. That’s the pole, but it’s not crazy cuz we’ve picked up a ton here. Yeah. Right. All right. One more. Real good. Do you ever try to play other shots with your 7R? Do you ever hit a cut? Um, do you ever try to hit it low? Yeah, I would say like kind of like a only shots you’d play on the course. Nothing. Never. I mean, when I when I I never try to cut irons because I just don’t feel like I have the ability to hit a cut with kind of where my swing is. I feel like I’m kind of under it a little bit. And so, if I try to hit a cut, then usually it’s like a like a double cross or it’s just like way right. So, don’t don’t show me that. But do you ever like uh do you ever try to try to flight one in the wind? Yeah. Like a like a low a low shot like just move it back to my stance and hit like a low draw. It’s a shot you play. Yeah. Then show me. Ready? kind of like that. Yeah. So, Apex is going to come down obviously, but that’s that’s a shot you’re trying to hit. So, Apex came down to 92 ft. Still carried 184. Wow. And you brought the spin down. So, that’s something that, you know, we always talk about. It’s like you can do it. Like 67 6800 isn’t a high spinning 7 iron, but if you if you need to bring one down into the wind, you can just do that shot. It’s 5900, right? Love it. There’s There’s the pole. It’s four or five yards left, but the carry is going to be right there. Yeah, just a little bit on the toe. 87. Yeah, that’s awesome. Right. Like that’s the control we’re talking about. That’s what Prov1X is giving you. It’s just it’s helping that pole stay from just going off the planet, right? Which is good. We’ll still validate Prov 1X as we go up the ladder here, too. Um, but now I really want to start fitting. I always joke that seven irons, like I told you beginning, like been fitting seven irons for a long time. The industry’s been fitting seven irons for a long time. I don’t think fitting a seven iron takes a lot of time. I think fitting really starts when we get to the clubs beyond the seven iron, the clubs in between driver and seven iron. That’s like the puzzle I like in my job, right? That’s really good. So, I think one of the things that’s cool here is like to to just see the numbers and realize that with my with my seven iron, um, not having enough spin on it when I was misitting shots is is a shot that has gotten me in trouble a lot. You guys have seen it. It’s that long left that just has no spin and goes forever and it’s, you know, 10, 12 yards long and it’s, you know, 15 yards left and a lot of time it puts me in really bad positions. And to see that it was just like a more of a a spin issue than u, you know, don’t need to change my swing or anything like that, which is is cool. That’s, you know, could could have been shaft weight. Yeah. Could have been golf ball, right? Could have been a lot of things contributing to that and you just blame your swing. Yeah. Right. So, but I think about like what else could be doing it, right? So, now I’m going to go grab a five iron. Okay. I’m going to grab it in this spill. I’m going to bend it the way this one is the C. And I want I always kind of want to set my goals. So, in the five iron, I want to see 10 mph more ball speed. I want to see the same apex and I want to see a really good land angle. In your five iron, this is where we start to started to see it drop. Mhm. Does that make sense? Significantly. Yeah. I’ll be right back. This is so fun. I I love getting in the weeds and just just being able to see the numbers. I mean, I do it every day, but with someone who knows what they’re talking about, Chris is like he’s so dialed in. And I think this is going to really make have a huge impact on just areas that I can really get better as a golfer, especially when it comes to tournaments and playing on YouTube, everything really, which is just very exciting for me. Yeah. The confidence of like knowing, okay, this is this is the right club. It’s up to me now. It’s not there’s no questions of like um you know if I miss this or or whatever. It’s like there’s still a responsibility about me but knowing that I have the right equipment is huge. All right. So we went to the T100 5iron. Same exact setup is the 7ironir that I was just hitting. Now so AMT white progressively weighted. Right. So it gets a little heavier. This one gets lighter as the club gets longer. And the goal of that is so you swing the lighter shaft a little faster. Okay. So you hit it higher. Okay. Right. So, it’s like this was me thinking ahead in the seven. So, what was the ball speed I was looking for? This is a test. See if you’re listening. 143. It was 143. Was that 143? 143. Yeah. I love it. So, 46 land, 104 ft. So, a little bit low. A little low. But you did. I would say you pulled it two yards. So, I’m going to ask you a question. You got to be honest. Did you try to hit that higher? No. Okay, good. No, I didn’t. Is he honest? I don’t know. Yeah, it did go higher, but I feel like it potentially went higher because I It was not a great swing. I was just back on. So, as not a great swing. The first one carried 213.8. What do you think that one carried? That one probably I feel like it was more of a 209. 213.6. Wow. Right. So, that’s what we’re looking for. That’s crazy. And that went 112 ft. That was 47.8 land. Okay. It looked high because you haven’t seen a five iron go that high. I haven’t ever seen a five iron go that high. See, that was that was low. Little skinny. Yeah, but ball speed was 144. Dang. Right. So, the ball speed stayed the same. Actually went up a little bit. So, that carried 216. Dang. The bunker. Right. Truthfully, it is. And you look at this one. 216 2136 2138. I’m never going after good shots because it’s really hard to make good shots better. Yeah. Right. I’m going after the long lefts, the short rights. Yeah. Right. If I can get those closer to the good ones, that’s how you shoot lower scores, right? And that just looks smooth, right? when I think in the past you’ve like if you had a front pin with your five or four iron you had to do something to get it to stop. You had to try to cut it which you don’t like to do. You got to try to hoist it which you don’t like to do. You had to maybe try to swing further to the right to get it up. In reality now you can just swing hit your shot cuz on the back nine in a Creator Classic coming down the stretch now the last thing you want to do is do something different. Yeah. Right. It’s too hard. B’s hard. Yeah. Uh that last one 214. Right. So, we’re just kind of beating a dead horse here. I don’t need to see a ton cuz I know this five iron checks all of our boxes. Yeah. Right. And that feels so good. That’s a lot easier to hit than my five. Yeah. I mean, so Tylus, you know, the philosophy of our irons are done a lot too is your irons get smaller as they get longer. Just the sound of that doesn’t sound right. Right. Like your iron should get slightly larger as they get longer. To to make not just for forgiveness, but to make the CG lower. Mhm. When you get CG low, what does that do? It maintains height. Yeah. Right. Okay. Wow. Like your 9 iron is bigger than your 4 iron. Now, I’m going to grab a 4 iron and kind of same same idea. Set my goals. I want to see five more miles an hour in your 4 iron. So, I’m looking for 147 to 49. I’ll probably call it 48. I want to see a height stay up here 110 ft and I want to see land angle stay above 45. Okay. Once it breaks then I give you help. Right. So that like that land angle right there with a 5 iron even it’s Is that good or is that a little bit lower? No. I mean we get rid of the the one pole at 44. Remember your good one when you walked in was 44. Yeah. Your pole is 44. Yeah. That’s great. Yeah. If we hide like the one 44 pole you’re at 47. Okay. That’s great. That’s great. So, we know anything like the 44, I’m sorry, 45 on the PGA Tour is the floor. They don’t hit any clubs into greens below 45. Yeah. So, because you’re five iron, you know, it was approaching 45. It was 469, right? Yeah. Again, Mike here, that’s when my lights start flashing a little bit like, hey, danger. We’re getting close to 45, right? So, let’s see what this does. This is T150 in a four. I made it I weakened it. Okay. So, it’s the same loft as a T100 4iron, but it’s just a slightly larger chassis. Okay. Awesome. So, 4iron, same build or uh 4iron, but it’s the T-150 instead of the T100. Yeah. And it’s 2° weak. So, it’s the same loft as T100. Mhm. But even a deeper CG, even a slightly larger chassis, shouldn’t look crazy big to your eye. Okay, yeah, it doesn’t look a lot different, but that was a bad swing. Oh my gosh. 149. That was really good. 230. Okay, which is good. Remember your five iron walking in best carried 215, but your 4 iron carried 223. Mhm. You need your four iron to carry 230, right? Yeah, that is so true. That’s been a It’s a gap in my bag. And part of that was the loft. Your five iron was strong and your four iron was weak. Yeah, they didn’t they just were too close to each other. That’s pretty good. How’s the golf ball feel at faster speeds? It It feels really good. Yeah, it it um I wouldn’t say that I I noticed like a ton of difference. Okay. Uh you’ve hit two golf balls there, 232 and 230. It’s a little on the low side of like peak height. Yeah. Touch about 100T. Oh, okay. We got I’m I’m picky. Yeah. I mean to me that was really good. That’s really good. And I know it looks really high because your 4 iron was 80 feet, right? That’s 100 feet on the nose at 44 of land. And that’s just, you know, having we went to the larger chassis to make sure you can hit it high enough, but at the same time, it gives you forgiveness, too. Yeah. Didn’t you say a four iron was your least favorite club? Yeah. I’ve never hit three forearms like that in a row in my life. And you know, part of that looking at your specs, right, could have been a couple reasons. Is the lies were a little funky, right? Wasn’t as flat as this one. Um the loft was a little funky here. So, you probably felt like you had to hit your forearm really good to get it to go your distance. Yeah. Right. Yeah. Exactly. And honestly, I didn’t change the loft of the 4 iron in your set. Your new 4 iron is still the same loft as your old four iron, but your five iron’s a touch weaker. Oh wow. So your five iron is 27 now and that helps separate the gap, right? Wow. Nice work. That’s incredible. So now we get to give you the fun part is like, you know, I do still think there’s a there’s a driving iron aspect in your bag, right, for how much you use it off the tea. Kind of the conversation we had before. Um, but I want to go up now and find the ceiling. Ceiling is the driver. Mhm. And I want to see like, you know, when you get when I feel like you get close to the longest iron, it’s when you should go up top, go to the driver, and then I’m going to look at the gap. I’m say, “Okay, here’s a driver. Here’s his four iron.” I see the hole. Yeah. And then I figure out how I need to fill it for your game, like how many clubs that is. That’s awesome. And I really just want to see you hit this CA driver, you know? Yeah. I mean, I I can’t even hardly wrap my I can’t even hardly wrap my head around on on the the the distance control of that forearm because I mean, it it was within I think I hit four and I think they were within a what was a yard and a half? Y and half. A yard and a half. The furthest one you hit was 234. The shortest one you hit was 231, but your deviation was 1.5. Yeah, that’s insane. And that’s a 4 iron, guys. That’s like that’s a like a club that I usually am like, “Okay, I have to hit this perfect to get it to go the distance and for it not to go too far left or right.” And that’s I mean, what is that the farthest right to left is? Yeah, it’s uh I don’t know where that seven yards left and 7 yards right, right? So, it’s like 40 ft from 230 yards, which is insane. Pretty good. Pretty good. Right. So, you’ve turned a club where in the past you hit it and you were like, “Let’s just get it near the flag or close to the green so that maybe I can chip it close.” And now you’ve turned into a scoring club, right? And part of that comes with height. Part of that comes out with that’s spin, right? That’s control. Yeah. You know, nobody thinks as a four iron as a as a club that lands on the green and stops. Yeah. It’s because they haven’t been fit truthfully, right? There amateurs have they have an apartment building of windows. They have a driver that goes through the top window. They have a seven iron that goes to, you know, the middle floor. They got a four iron that’s cruising on floor two. You look at tour players, they have one window and they all just hit every golf ball through that through their window. Yeah. Some of them are really high, some are here, but none of them are down here. Yeah. Right. Yeah. I said, let’s hit the driver. We You want to hit it, guys? This is the club that I’ve been really excited about because um I’ve just struggled with driver. You guys have seen it for the last couple months. Um, it’s just been a club that I’ve really struggled with and it I do believe that I I’m I’m losing some advantage that I have because I I can hit it really far, but um I just haven’t been able to get something that feels comfortable. Um, and I I don’t know exactly what that is. I’m not blaming anyone, but it’s just I mean I’m excited to see this and to see what we can do here because I mean you guys already seen with the clubs that Chris has already got me and it’s like wow, there’s a pretty significant difference there. So, um, this is probably what all you guys have been waiting for as a driver and I’m pumped. That’s what I’ve been waiting for. See, you hit that mini driver too much. Yeah. With your speed, man, driver should be a weapon. You don’t even want to touch it, do you? Not really. Now, we say all this and I wouldn’t be surprised if you just stripe it. You like hit this really good. Saw that coming. Nice. That’s good. Yeah, that was pretty good. But the thing is it’s it’s usually always good on the driving range. I think ball helps too, right? I think there’s something to say this this golf ball just having a bit more spin. Yeah. Is giving you control. Yeah. Right. Which I feel like I’m always trying to play like the lowest spinning things because I always spin my driver too much. But I think it’s that’s a probably more of a mechanical issue. I don’t think you’d spin your driver too much. It’s really hard to spin your driver too much, you know, with a with a path that’s right and a attack angle that’s up. All that is mechanics is saying that driver is going to be low spin. Yeah. There’s the dreaded one, right? Mhm. Probably really low spin. Yeah. And that’s the kind of the one that kind of keeps you from hitting driver. Yeah. And well, that or right? If you have a quick left miss, I know you have a high right miss. Yeah. Cuz you’re a golfer. Yeah. Right. It’s truth. Like you’re going to hit one left and then you’re probably going to just the next swing is going to be like, “How do I not hit this left?” Mhm. And you hit it further left. Yeah. Well, it’s not short. Yeah. That’s never been a problem. It’s just not straight. Yeah. So when we look at I mean that was a that was a heel one probably. So heel left which is a weird one because a heel left has spin but the one the two before you know this is the lowhanging fruit in your driver right 1700 and 1900 spin on your left miss. So generally you know if you look at this average of spin right here like a fitter might say oh that’s 2200. That’s a great average. Yeah. I don’t look at averages. I look what’s the low? What’s the high? Yeah, cuz golf’s hard and you’re going to hit all those in a round. Uh, your low is 17, your high is 2600. Yeah. So, really driver doesn’t have enough space. I want to get your low to be 2,000 and your high to be 29.99. If you live in the twos, that left miss at two, that’s just like the irons. That’s control. Yeah, I don’t want that thing going left off the planet. And we use land angle a lot for that, too. You know, like that term I love so much. Uh, but land angle is the combination of ball speed, launch, and spin. Okay. So, I can look at land angle and know how these three work together. Okay. Right. Tour players look for about 39° of land angle. Okay. Then you hit 43 was your high right. Mhm. 31 was your low left. Okay. So, it’s pretty it’s big. Yeah. We got to tighten. I want your high right. I don’t I wouldn’t mind your high right being 43. Okay. If your low left was 37. Okay. But we don’t see that. Yeah. All right. All right, we got to get to work here. Okay, there’s, you know, there’s a good like a good thing to going short in a driver. Like I know you think it’s too short. Um, there’s also a thing to like if you make a driver shorter, you have to change head weight. You really do. I mean, cuz you know, you just cut a driver down, you your head weight’s off and then your swing weight’s off. And swing weight is a feel, right? All your clubs are at a specific swingway and then all of a sudden your driver’s at C8. I mean C8 for a guy swinging at 124 mph. And honestly, I think you probably swing faster than that if you wanted to. Right. Mhm. So, is this a little shorter? Same length as yours. Right. Again, I want to kind of isolate one variable at a time. You know what I mean? Yeah. Cuz if if if I make this longer and I change the head and you hit it, great. It’s like, well, what’s giving us that? Is it the length? at the head. So again, I always want to just try to like isolate one at a time. So what we’re testing here is a little bit more loft, right? Loft creates spin. And I wanted to give you a short driver that felt normal. Mhm. Like that has some weight in the head, right? So it has a swing weight that’s that’s more common at your speeds, right? So it’s a plus six g weight in the head. So it’s a gold weight. It’s a little bit heavier. It’s not heavy for the length, though. Yeah. You know what I mean? It’s just what I would call it’s more balanced than yours. Yeah. So, we GT3, a little more loft, a little heavier, same length. It’s the same shaft. A little heavier shaft. Little heavier shaft. So, this this whole setup is just a little heavier. And uh we’re going to see what happens here. Just to protect against the the mist that keeps you from hitting driver. Yeah. A little bit of a tow strike there. We fixed the left. Yeah. There. I mean, that that was a left miss, but it’s on the fairway, right? And so look at the spin on the left miss 2100. That’s crazy. That’s the key there, right? It’s again, it’s about control. And it’s funny. It’s no different than what we found in your irons. You need spin to protect against the left. Yeah. You know, people think if I give you spin, you’re going to hit it further left. It’s not the case, right? Spin keeps the golf ball in line. You think about a baseball. You throw a knuckle ball. What’s it doing? It’s hard to control, right? Because it’s down a football, right? It’s not spinning. It’s wobbling and falling out of the air, right? like a half shot. 20,000 spin 109 ft. What? It’s kind of familiar, right? Yeah. Those three are your left, misses, which you know there’s they actually put trees on the map here. You’re in the trees, right? These two, you’re just left of the green. Yeah. Right. Yeah. And that one I felt like like and I I felt this right here. Like I felt like it went really inside and I hit on the toe. And for that not to just like roll over is crazy. So I have this set. So it’s funny. I have this set to a 10, but I actually have it set to C1. So it flattens the club a little bit. It also opens the face a little bit. Okay. I’m trying to get that face to match your path better. Okay. I’m not here to change your golf swing. Your golf swing’s great. I’m here to get you clubs that work for your golf swing. Right. Okay. But someone else’s job. Yeah. I think the big thing is I’m I’m like I have PTSD from seeing a ball go straight right. So that’s probably my wife. It’s funny because like you don’t hit any right. Yeah. which is I mean I want to see. Yeah, show me it. I mean, don’t try to hit it right, but yeah, let’s say you like left is water. Left is water. And you just got to hit something that hugs the right hand side of the fairway. Just swing like that all the time. Just swing like that all the time. Left is water. Yeah. How high was that? Uh 111 ft. Wow. Cough. Cough. That’s the same height as your seven iron. Yeah, that’s nuts. 322 carry, 348 total, 37 land on a draw. Mhm. Right. So, land angle is always going to be a little flatter on a draw again. So, that’s your draw at 36. If you ever hit the high right one, it’s probably going to live at like 42, which is what we talked about, right? I want the high right one to be there and the low left one to be there. Yeah. And then that spin is that is that good or 2,000? A little bit low maybe, but it’s on the hook, right? So that’s fine. Yeah. You know what I didn’t like with yours is when you hit it, hooked it left, it was 1,700,600. Mhm. I mean, to me, I know that’s a little bit less, but it feels so good to like know that I’m not going to hit it right. That’s That’s 190 ball speed. Really? Yeah. Just do that. That is that’s insane. 188 there. Oh, a doubled spin. That’s a bummer. Sometimes Trackman, you hit it too hard. So, it’s, you know, it said that sometimes it doubles the spin rate. So, it gives you That was absolutely crazy. Well, you know what? You got to do it again. So, Trackman tends to miss the best ones. Okay, I’m I’m going to force myself to get one out to the right. I can’t I feel like I can’t do it. That’s That’s good, right? Yeah. I mean, it’s perfect. 39 land, 188 ball, 2200, 11. So, to for you to hit it further right, what do you do? You just try to just swing further right. That Well, I really just need to aim a little farther right cuz I don’t like I don’t like trying to swing farther right because that’s what you’re doing. Your path’s getting like super loopy. I just because that’s what I feel like I in historically that’s what I have to do to try to protect against it going right instead of just aiming a little more right and swinging. Do you feel like you just hold the face open a little bit longer? That feels like I’m just I’m just behind it. I like the pressure. See, that’s the one that would typically just It’s like you’re past three there. Yeah. So much better than five. It’s going to have a bit more spin on it, but it’s okay. That’s control, right? Yeah. And that’s the that’s the difference between the reason it’s spinning more is because of this. Now, if you you can go back to aiming the way you like, but just kind of remember that path. Yeah. Ah, see that’s where I’m just I get I’m just getting underneath it there with that one. So, we’re going to go into a little bit of a longer shaft here. That one was 44, right? So, it’s pretty short for a driver. It is pretty short for a driver. Um, I’m going to go to 45. So, 45. Is this closer to standard? Yeah, standard. I would say this is tour standard. Yeah. Um, but um, in store lengths 45 and a half, right? It’s kind of just where the industry’s gone. But you’ll watch me here. I’m going to change the length of the driver. What else do I have to change? Some waiting somewhere. That’s right. I got to change the weight of the head, right? Cuz I’m adding weight somewhere else. I added it to the bottom. Yeah. So, you’re adding weight to the top as well. You’re taking away it all in there. Oh, okay. For still going to add a little add two. So, taking away four. Um, going to a 45 inch shaft. Little tighter. I want to see what tighter it does, too. Tighter as in more stiff. It’s a little bit stiff. Yeah. Same same shaft weight, though. Wait, this is a stiffer shaft? Yeah. Does it feel looser? Yeah. It’s just I think it’s just the length. The length. Yeah. Do you think some of that left comes from like when I start to just when my body gets warm and start to swing faster with a lighter shaft? is that for sure. Yeah, absolutely. I mean, we we found kind of all day that that you’ve liked just a touch more weight, right? Right. So, this is what I was concerned of, right? When you go longer, the longer the shaft, the more underneath it gets, right? The more shallow it gets, the more up on it you get. Right. That felt a little spinny and a little right. Yeah. It wasn’t It wasn’t very far right. Let me give you that. So, as spinny goes, that’s 2700. That’s not spinny. Yeah. Right. Yeah. Not at all. But that was 135 ft. Yeah. A little high for you. So, it’s spinny because you’re catching it more off the bottom. You’re catching it more off the bottom because the shaft’s longer. Yeah. So, if you make the shaft longer and your attack angle changes, gets more off the bottom. Right. So, that’s kind of what we’re seeing there. I’m done with it. That’s 3600. What’s that? This 3600 spin. Oh, yeah. But it’s This shaft should spin less. Why is it spinning more? Well, cuz this length of shaft made you catch it off the bottom. Yeah. Right. Yeah. That’s so interesting because that when that spin jumps up and gets over 3,000, it’s like then it’s I mean that carried 300, which is Yeah. That’s your you know, probably your three-way, right? So, back to the back to the back. Again, this is part of the way I fit, too. I like to find something we like. Mhm. Go away from it and then go back to it. Yeah. And see how it reacts now. Yeah. So, it’s like you get to cover this shaft a little bit more, which is what gives you control, right? And that was the ball that usually goes way right. Yeah. It only jumped up to 2900. 2900. You covered it a lot. Like your attack angle really changed. And that’s just from going from 45 back to 44. What’s the attack angle on this one versus the other one? Uh, that was like one. The other one was like four. Really? Yeah. But this one you were like at two to three, right? I just think it’s that that hard switch back and forth. So 2,000 on the left. Yeah. Right. That’s what I’m looking for. Where we And we were at like 1,800. I mean, that’s being generous. Yeah. We’re like 1,700. Yeah. Again, that’s that’s two degrees up, which is perfect, right? Um, and it’s just swing wise, it’s that’s four right, four and a half, right? And then the face just doesn’t match it, so it starts to left. The face is closed a little bit. It’s it’s it’s uh close to your path. Close to the path. Yeah. It’s still a little open, but good. Really good. And that’s kind of the window we like to see with you, right? That is That is so freaking awesome. Say the number. Yeah. So, it’s 189 ball speed. It’s nine launch, 2300 spin, 320 carry, 105 ft. That’s a little flatter than we’ve been seeing, but I mean, that’s your fairway finder. Yeah. And this right here is like that. I think I pro I think I have a there’s probably some subconscious stuff happening with the driver hand of wanting to try I’m trying to close the face as fast as I can because that’s I’ve always I always leave the face open and that where the the right balls come from. It’s just, you know, PTSD. Yeah. you know, 191. But again, like now you feel like you can go at it, right? And it’s still going to have some spin on it, right? Yeah. I still I still like you remember. Good to see you again. Good to see you, too, good to be back. It’s great. Good. Good. You heard the sound from inside. I got to figure out what’s going on here. What was that? Cutting trees down here. Right. So you hit a little bit lower on the face. Look what the because it’s spun more. Right. Where’s that land angle at? Staying where it needs to be. Where it needs to be. Right. So it’s really efficient carry. Right. Wow. I want to see what Greg gets to do tomorrow. I honestly love that. I feel like the face is getting closed. Like feel like I’ve always struggled with that with a driver with that one. Honestly, I think the the time off from hitting it, like hitting that mini being shorter, right, has got you a little steeper on it. Yeah. So, I think that’s helped, right? I think you know what you’re worried about as far as missing it, right? Because you’ve been hitting mini for so long, it’s not even there anymore. Yeah. Because that mini driver, your gamer being short has got you more like this. So, I gave you a driver again and you’re you’re not with your old driver, you know, watching old videos of you, you’re like this, right? And and now you’re not nearly that much like that. 93. That was pretty good. So, that was 193 ball speed, a 10.6 launch, 2300 spin, 336 carry. carry carry 336 in the air with 2,300 yard 2,300 to spin. I I don’t feel like I’ve ever been able to get that those numbers with that. I had to have to have my spin at 2,000 to get that. Yeah. No, I mean that’s just and 2,000 on the good one just that’s danger on the bad one. Right. Right. So you you actually want a little bit of spin on the good one to protect against the left and the right. That’s why we don’t look at averages. We look at the window. I want to see what’s the low, what’s the high. Right? You’re 19 on this one, 27 on that one, right? I mean, this is that second time we That’s a great window. Yeah. When we walked in, you were 17 to 26. So, we really just kind of We raised the floor. Yeah. And we really didn’t raise the ceiling. The ceiling’s still in the same spot, right? That’s all we needed was to get that floor up. Yeah. That floor is what’s kept you from hitting driver. Mhm. All right, guys. So, we’re going to move through um the three. So, we’re fitting a 3-wood and we’re going to kind of try to match it to this. So, it’s about the same. a little more spin, a little more probably descent angle than than this. We’re just gonna kind of see some numbers, then we’re gonna do a driving iron, and then we’ll we’ll show you guys what we come up with. So, let’s get right into it. We’re going to move pretty quickly through this portion. All right. So, let’s start with yours. Um, tell me about how you use this club. Well, now use it as your driver. Yeah. So, this is currently like off the tea. This is my driver. Um, I can I honestly can hit any golf shot with this club, which is really nice. Like, I can hit a low cut, I can hit a high draw, I can hit a straight. like it’s just very versatile. Um, and it usually goes it usually carries, you know, on a on a low cut it’s 265. On a high draw it’s 295. So, do you ever hit off the ground? Uh, yeah. Okay. And it’s usually more of a straight ball and I can’t move it as much off the ground. Okay. That’s good. You know, I can see why you liked it as a driver, right? Because it had some spin on it. Yeah. Right. Compared to your driver that didn’t have spin on it, right? It cuz it has kind of driver spinach. Yeah, right. It’s kind of in that mid to high twos. Um, show me one off the ground. Just want to see how that works. [Music] [Music] Okay. Can you see it? I think the mini has less of a place in your bag now cuz we’ve made your driver so efficient, right? I think the mini only had a spot because you couldn’t hit driver. Mhm. Now that you can hit driver, like having a club that goes 295 in the air off the ground, how much are you going to use that? Right. Hardly ever. No. Right. Yeah. So, it was just a fun little like, okay, now let’s build you a club that I think you’ll use more. You know what I mean? [Music] It’s fun for there’s probably a couple shots that you can hit on on YouTube that it’s good for content. Probably not good for play. Yeah. All right, guys. So, that kind of wraps up the irons and woods. Um Chris is going to kind of walk through why we did what we did. Um and obviously you guys saw every I mean there’s a reason for everything. So, I feel very very very good about it. Um, I know this the T uh the one I’m holding is the T200 for the two iron. And I’m gonna have Chris take it away. Yeah. So, let’s let’s start at the top. So, you know, we landed in a GT3 driver at 10° set down to C1 that opens the face form, helped your start line, right? And then gave you the same length driver, which was huge for us, right? We wanted you to we tried longer, but you got more underneath it. So, we go to the same length. We add some weight to the head. Now, you have a balance driver, right? And that gave you confidence to go at it. We saw ball speed increase, but I think the the biggest thing for you is like you’re already long, but now you’re straight. Yeah. And then, you know, I think the 3-wood was the surprise one where, you know, we were testing it against your mini driver and first I built you a 3-wood that that was as far as your mini driver, but with you now understanding what spin does to a golf ball, like that feels hot. Yeah. Right. So, it’s like, do I need a club off the ground that goes 295? It’s probably not. Right. So, we built you up just a more of a traditional 3-wood at 15°. Mhm. And that got your carry at about 275. Yeah. Which is really good. Yeah. And then the two iron conversation was fun. You know, it really fits you for 15 golf clubs today, depending on what Bob does with wedges. But it gives you a hybrid or a two iron option. Hybrid goes nice and high, lands soft in the greens. So those stretched out golf courses, those 74, 7500, maybe some of those creator classic events you’re playing in, right? You’ll have a club that’s you can hit into the greens with some stopping power. And then you get to those other courses where they’re a little tighter, a little narrower, got a lot of T- shots. There’s your two iron. Yeah. Right. And then the four iron was a good one. T150. So we weakened the T1502° to maintain peak height. You writing this down. And then the 5iron through 9 iron most likely. T100. Little bit heavier shaft in the short irons. AMT wide X100. Still a little short, a little bit flat. Yeah. So Micah, now that you know we we finished the fitting, you know, we fit the ball to the irons. We were testing Prov1, Prov1X. who landed in Prov1X for that left miss and for that maintain a spin, right? And then we fit the driver to the ball that you were playing. Now, we’re going to take these golf balls. We’re going to go green side to make sure that you can hit all the shots you want to hit around the green. I want you like the feel, the performance, and the spin. Okay, that’s fantastic. I’m excited. I’ve never I’ve never seen the I’ve never tried to look at the difference between like a a more or less spinning golf ball around the green. So, this is going to be this is going to be fascinating. I can’t wait to have I can’t wait to get this get my hands on all these and actually get them on the golf course. Um, but we are going to move into the wedge fitting now with Bob Bogi himself. It’s going to be incredible. I’ve never done this. I’ve never had a wedge fitting. Um, I’ve done putter and stuff like that, but I’m really interested to see kind of the thought process behind how someone gets fit for a wedge. So, let’s get over there. Um, hope you guys are enjoying this. If you haven’t subscribed to the channel yet, make sure you do that. Drop a comment. Um,

  1. your 3w has been great in the recent videos but are you considering testing the Titleist 280 2W?

  2. Micah, what are your golf club specs? I’m about the same height but I am more chubbier 😂.

  3. Didn't he say he already took the Titleist out of the bag???

I'm stuck. I got fitted for t150 or ping i230 and don't know which ones to get lol

  4. I was lucky enough to get fit at the tpi years ago. If I didn’t play a mixed bag these days I’d probably go pay for a full bag fitting. They take their time and truly want to get the best equipment for you. And it seemed like they were trying to upsell me on shafts either. The wedge fitting is a game changer. And don’t get me started on the Scotty Cameron fitting that’s a short drive away 😂 what a trip that was. Getting to putt with all those historical pga players putters was unbelievable. But getting fit and seeing your putting stroke on all those monitors is truly unique. Really learned a lot 👍

  5. Love how you stayed true to yourself decisions. Doing what’s best for you. Your game has gotten insanely good going to @titleist

  6. A few days ago I found a bag that was almost the same design as my dream bag, but the price blew my mind. I have a soul resonance with kisluxs . It taught me that beauty doesnâ t have to be expensive, it just has to be right.
