Today Jake travels to his local GOLFTEC center to get fit for some new irons. With the recent release of the TaylorMade P7CB, it was time to see what the newest batch of CB irons on the market had to offer.

Instead of the traditional route of comparing the new clubs to the clubs in his bag, the idea here was to get fit for a new set of irons by just comparing the 3 models on the wall that interested Jake the most.

For this fitting we chose the TaylorMade P7CB, the Callaway Apex CB, and the Ping Blueprint S irons. Using GOLFTEC’s TecFit system in combination with the Foresight GC Quad, Jared Pappas, PGA of the Geneva, IL location works with Jake to figure out what the best combination is going to be for his game! Which one comes out on top!?

This video was not sponsored by any of the club companies whos products were tested.

  1. I got fitted hitting off grass. I like to see how my club interacts with the ground. Personally I think it's better than hitting off a mat.

  2. It looked like the ping was tested with a S400, drastically different shaft than the LZ. Would have been good to see same shaft used for testing for head selection.

  3. i prefer the look of the 2 gens ago MC that morikawa played. these almost look the same as Titleist irons. that bottom curve has no sex appeal. Really cant go wrong with any of them tho!

  4. I hit the apex cb and clicky isn’t a term I would use. They weren’t as soft as my Epon irons but not many brands are

  5. What was the point to this? You clearly had a bias and the review made zero sense. Should’ve just reviewed the Taylormade only with diff shafts.

  6. Clearly put a different swing on the Taylormade iron lol. Let us see an actual comparison. Show all the numbers. Swing speed, spin rates. This was a trash video

  7. I like that you added the disclaimer about being biased toward the P7CB. The numbers were all so similar that it just came down to preference of looks, feel and sound in the end. Or in other words, you wanted the P7CB's, and the numbers showed that there was no reason to not pick them. I had an identical situation but i'm a Ping guy. Almost no difference in numbers so I walked out with a set of Blueprint S

  8. Bro, absolutely no to 4 iron. 4 driving iron with Steelfiber, Recoil DART or Hybrid Modus, maybe.
