Contested each May, the PGA Championship is the second major championship in golf’s annual rotation and perennially features the strongest field in the men’s game based on the Official World Golf Rankings. Known for dramatic finishes and notable champions, the Wanamaker Trophy—which has been awarded to the winner since 1916—is inscribed with names such as Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Jack Nicklaus, and Gary Player.
The 2025 PGA Championship is set to take place between 15-18 May at Quail Hollow Club. The reigning champion is Xander Schauffele.

Ewell over at the second hole. This is Alex Noran from the very thick rough down the right side. 181 and what a shot for Alex Noran. Just his second start of the year for Alex. And Alex Norin mentioned just his second start of the year. This for birdie at the second coming off a hamstring injury, a tear, especially with the wind today as we go to eight. It certainly is wreaking havoc playing alongside Alex Norin. He too makes a birdie at the eighth, [Applause] including Alex Noran digging this one out at 14. That was so cool how he just cut the hands across that a while. That’s could possibly be toward the people. Now at the 15th, Alex Norton out of the bunker. His fourth is good. Norin holds out and he’s now at six under par. Don’t think he can take it over the bunker. Oh yeah. Well, we’re going to find out. Has to make sure he gets it over the lip. And if that means you come up short of the green, that’s okay. Oh, fabulous shot on the tea here of the par three. Alex Norin 7 iron. It’s good swing there. Right at it and stopped short of a hole. It’s a rare one indeed to 17 for the second birdie of the day at the toughest hole. 17 and yes, Alex Norn. And that was his sixth birdie of the day. Moves to seven under. Tied for the lead. Alex Norn just his second tournament of the calendar year. He’s been injured. Yeah. The previous tournament he played was the Dunhill Links back in October. He’s had all sorts of injuries. Neck, glute, hamstring. Out for 31 weeks. Eight iron. Carve it in there. Oh yeah. 18. Here’s Norin for birdie. Get there. It does. Alex Norin from nowhere has taken the lead alone at the PGA Championship.

Going to have to change the title of the video after Scheffler's round of 65 today
If he were to pull this off, it would be Sweden's first major since Henrik Stenson's victory at the British Open in 2016. Scottie's not even 30, he'll win 4 of these anyway. Noren is 42, it's just about now or never for him I'd say. I hope he gets it done. SKOL! 👍⚔🇸🇪
