Paige Spiranac has played hit the course with a variety of famous people inside and outside of the golf world.

Out of all of those partners, one movie star in particular stood out to the 32-year-old Division I golfer-turned social media star for his slow pace of play. Spiranac called him out during an appearance on the “Vanity Index” podcast Tuesday.

Asked by one of the hosts who was the most famous person she ever played with, Spiranac recalled being partnered with Nick Jonas during a celebrity Ryder Cup event at the Genesis Invitational. The two competed against Chris Pratt, who apparently took his sweet time.

“He was very slow,” Spiranac said of Pratt. “Might be the slowest golfer I’ve ever played with. Super nice guy, unbelievably slow.”

“We were like, four holes behind on a nine-hole little thing and they were like, ‘You need to speed it up,'” Spiranac explained. “And he had all these people around him and he’d tell these amazing stories, and we were like, ‘Hit the golf ball.'”

In a comment on the “Vanity Index” Instagram post, Spiranac said it took the group “over 3 hours and 30 min to play 9 holes” because of Pratt.

Pratt, 45, is best known for his roles in the Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World franchises, is a major golf enthusiast. A quick internet search shows he has played with stars like Bryson DeChambeau and Sir Nick Faldo, and he also played a round with friends such as Rob Lowe before his 2019 wedding to Katherine Schwarzenegger.

Last June, Pratt was invited to play in the Workday Golden Cub Memorial Pro-Am at Muirfield alongside Peyton Manning and PGA Tour standouts Rory McIlroy and Jason Day.

Clearly, Pratt has some game on the course. It just takes him a while to show it off apparently.
