It’s another picture perfect day in the Golden State. We’re about 30 miles north of San Diego. About a 15minute drive from the Pacific Ocean as Carlsbad takes center stage for the biggest day in women’s college golf as the North Course plays host for the second consecutive year to the NCAA Championships. Temperatures in the mid70s. A gentle breeze picking up throughout the course of the afternoon as we have seen for much of this week. Two teams remain, Stanford and Northwestern. The Cardinal in search of the program’s fourth national title. The Wildcats looking for their very first. The Cardinal the top ranked team in the country undefeated in stroke play this season. The Wildcats though an upstart bunch from Evston, Illinois believing this might very well be their opportunity. Just one down to Da Lee. He’s trying to turn over. It’s looking like a decent line. Didn’t quite get up. So, both players just sort of that slope. Actually, this released nicely. Couple good shots in there. We make our way over to the fourth. Elise Lee, Northwestern, her second. Sue already on the green le a little bit better. All right, we’re wela here for birdie here at three to win the hole here. Beautiful shot in here. Lost the last hole up and about bounce back. So she ties up this match as they head across the tunnel over to the other side to four. All right, win here. Second shot at seven coming out of the fairway. Much easier shot. Just 122 yards here. Yeah, better result. Oh, how good’s that? She’s one up in this match. Nicely done. Got a chance to maybe go two up. All right, San Pedro for birdie. Right to left breaker here. Pretty slow putt. [Applause] How good was that, Birdie? All right, let’s go to the fairway at six. Cis Lee, Kelly Sue. They’re tied up through the opening five. Elise Lee getting ready to hit her third. Wow, what a shot. Let’s go to six. Kelly Sue from Stamford. Her third. [Applause] She’ll be first to play though. Or also has a third shot. Lyn’s three up in this match. She kind of took control after the first couple holes. What? Three in a row. Did she? She did. Who’s got other things other than just golf. It creates a good balance and perspective. Da Lee for birdie at six to go two up. [Applause] Yeah, you got so many slopes around there. Really easy to hit this close. Should come off the slope. There you go. Okay, that’ll work just fine. Just 75 yards. Not a wedge that you’re going to hit full. So important to dial that yardage in. You can use that back slope like Yun or go right at it and knock it in. A good think she dialed it in. I say she got the right number. She’s doing her part. If you’re Stanford right now, you could do a Gane. Getting more up. Finishing off this match. Take a look here. One bounce, which they’ve done all week. Little bit of spin here. Pretty impressive. Now that’s more like it. And the jobs Emily Fletcher and Beth Miller, the head coach and assistant, have done together for 17 years is inspiring. [Music] And that’s an inspirational power by there by Lauren W. And uh it was impressive to watch how they were working through what they needed to do for their players. Yeah. Second shot now for Rela. And Lee is on the green, but she’s going to attack this one. Yeah. In the quarter, she made a big rally in her match and then kept that rally going into the semis. Oh, P flew it in. Needs some help off the slope. Okay. All right. Two putts to win the hole for Revelta. She had a beautiful shot in here. Ah, there you go. Yep. She breaks into that lead. Gan at 12 to go five up. Breaking left the whole way for Gan. Needs to break leave it high enough. Just did. If your win here now, you need to be really disciplined. You’re looking about a flag stick, maybe two flag sticks left of this whole location. Give yourself a 20 foot putt. That’s exactly what it’s doing. It’s trying to fade a little bit. Oh, what a shot. Lauren, what a great shot. She doesn’t need to be disciplined. She’s going to go straight for it. Well done, Lauren. Win at 12 to 12. Paula Martine San Pedro her second. She actually has some green to work with here. Drew an upslope lie. So, this is doable here. Sure is. She rallied in the quarters, winning 14 through 17 to get the job done. M. Walker calls her the little engine that could. She’s got no quit. Yeah. Oh man, big time putt there. How about that? A whole completely different player the last three or four holes. She’s two up in this match. Slight left to right wind. Oh, she’s begging for it. Is she begging enough? Oh, don’t need to beg when you hit it like that. That’s going to get better coming off that slope. Let’s go over to 10. This is Elise Lee from Northwestern. One down against Kelly Sue. You can see Kelly’s ball there. Front right part of the green. Little club twirl. And that’s why. And she says when she hits a golf ball, you stop because it just sounds a little bit different than anyone else on the range. But the sky, the limit. And Emily Fletcher’s been with this match much of the day. Yeah, she finished fifth in the Big 10, so trending in the right direction. That putt’s trending in the right direction. Nice birdie. She’s made some great saves. Oh, Emily. Emily can’t leave this group right now. No. Now G for birdie to win the match. [Applause] Stanford three, Western four. Stanford wins five and four. So, Reela will have an opportunity. We’ll get back to that in just a moment. Over on the TA 12, Elise Lee ready to play. It’s good looking controlled swing there. Really played within herself. Wherea now at 10 to win the hole and cut that deficit in half. Got to be moving to the left. [Music] What a part. All right, first to play here at 11. Da Lee just wedge it here. She’s one up in her match. Even in spite of this TB moved up players not not biting. Oh, when you get hit wedges, you hit wedges like that with this hole location. Northwestern leading in three. The other is tied where Stanford might get those other two from. Oh, that was Da Lee to win the hole. Stanford five. Actually, Northwestern still won the hole. Back at the 13th hole. Elise Lee has missed the green to the right. This match is tied with Kelly Sue. Sue is in there close, but so is Lee. Yeah. But you’re going to want to be in this spot hitting in here first. Just a short club in your hands. The way she can generate spin. Mhm. That’s why she threw it on. That’s an excellent shot. Yeah, that’s what you got to do. Pressure back. All right, San Pedro for birdie to tie the match. Nothing but not any questions. Back at 18. Match two. Lauren win. Paula Martin San Pedro. They are tied. This is the third for win. She has just 99 yards. Needs to get something close here. [Applause] Oh, has she ever leaving it below the hole to putt uphill at it now? The stage set for Lauren win for birdie to win the hole, end the match and get point number two for the Northwestern Wildcats. She’s done it. Wow. Congrats. Thank you. Hang in there. [Applause] She’s going dead at it. [Music] Almost hopped it in. Sure. [Applause] How big is that? That’s huge. Enormous putt by Kelly Shu. Kelly. All right. Well, to now for birdie to win the hole. [Applause] Boom. How about that? Is that any good? Keeping the dream alive, [Applause] man. That was a pretty swing. Yeah, sounded crisp. Should spin. Yep. No divot there. Caught that nice and clean. Both players have a couple putts for birdie. Really nice wedge to get it to this point. Just barely above hole high. Slightly right to left putt here. She made a beautiful putt at the last. This would be a massive putt in these circumstances to take a lead headed into the 18th. Stanford has had to come back in the next two days in the two matches of the quarters and semis to fight back to win those. Do they have enough to fight back here witha one down perhaps the biggest shot of her life at least to this point. [Applause] [Applause] Clinging on little hustle up there to get better run. Better run and put a coin on that one. She has been so heavyhanded under pressure like cuz in the back of her mind she you know she she’s not fully committed to I have to make this cuz you don’t know what Diana’s going to do. Mhm. It’s so hard. It’s a difficult spot. I think she’s thinking she’s going to make it. [Music] Parr conceded to Andrea Ravalta. For the third time in the last 20 minutes, Da Lee has a putt for Northwestern to win their very first women’s golf national championship. They’re California dreaming. The Northwestern Wildcats are national [Applause] champions. Northwestern in Evston, Illinois. The Northwestern Wildcats are now national champs because of this puck by Da Lee from San Diego. Went to high school 20 minutes from here. And that is a run to her teammate she’ll never forget. [Applause] [Applause]

Worked the tourney and it was great. Thank you players for a show!
Wow 🔥🔥🔥
🔥🔥🔥🔥☝️
I unfortunately missed the coverage. Thank you for putting together a good recap!
Congratulations!
Congratulations to those young women!
This is disgraceful!! Young golfers running around screaming, open-mouthed like animals and pretending to play golf. Sure they can swing the club but behaving like a lunatic is not what golf is about. Team golf is stupid at this level. Golf is a game for individuals with some dignity, not for morons. Same goes for Ryder Cup and any similar golf team events. Not watching anymore.
@14:43 Horrible sportsmanship. Doesn't even shake her opponents hand.
