This is everything that happened during the PJ Championship over the last four days. So after the first round, we had some really interesting names at the top of the leaderboard, including RDER Cup captain Luke Donald, but Jonathan Vegas was the guy out in front of the pack. And he was two ahead of a top five of players that aren’t really seen near the tops of leaderboards that often, apart from Ryan Fox, who literally just won the week before at the Myrtle Beach Classic. But round two saw some seriously low rounds, including a 64 from this guy, Seawukin, which included a hole in one. But matching him bar the hole in one with a 64 was Max Homer. His game has seen some amazing improvement over the last few weeks. So, it’s great to see him near the top of leaderboards again. But the man everyone was talking about was Rory Maroy. Struggled on the first day with a three over part and then went two under on round two to stay near and around the cut line, but still the leading man, Jonathan Vegas, up at the top of the leaderboard, second round leader heading into day three. But day three saw no improvements to Rory. A one over round which pretty much ruled about the competition. But someone who did do well was live golfer John Ram. Shot himself a 67 to get him into tied fifth place. But it was no match for world number one Scotty Sheffller. Shot a 65 in the third round, including going five under in the last six holes. An eagle and three birdies. But he landed himself at the top of the leaderboard three shots ahead of a pack with no names that are really known for challenging on final days. But John Ra made a serious effort to challenge that title. After just 10 holes, he was only one shot behind Scotty. But on the 17th and 18th hole, made two doubles and he just dropped himself back. But that left world number one to take home his first PJ championship and his third ever major.
