What’s up, guys? We’re at our local course today. We’re going to be doing a scramble. And we have a par 34 9hole course at our local area here. We’re going to see if we can I think if we Yeah. Even par better. Yeah. And you’re going to play with your new Tacomaomas. New Tacomaomas. Let’s do it. Yeah. Let’s try it [Music] out. All right, guys. So Andy’s up. Two groups in front of us. The Canadians and the Americans. Not a good start. Good shot. Right down the middle. We’ll take that one. That wasn’t a very good drive for me. Good drive for you, though. It was all right. I kind of sliced it, but I just played my slice. So, that’s why we’re probably going to scramble today. Yep. I hit my drive about 70 yards. What the What the heck? Get some sap on it or something. I don’t know. So, as the camera is shaking wildly, I will speak to say this is not a golf course with bent grass fairways. Um, it’s just a hometown municipal golf course. Yep. And that’s all right. It’s what we grew up playing on. Yep. And we’re not good golfers. We’re just regular guys. I wouldn’t even really go as far as saying that we’re decent golfers, Dad. No, we have our we have our moments. We have our moments where we look like we are. Our swings look good, I think. But uh yeah, let’s see if we can find this ball. I can’t see it. It was right there. It is. What you looking at? As you can see, I am using the Kirkland ball and I’m unashamed of it. 169 the flag. 169 and the flag is towards the back of the green. So I probably want to play like a 160ish shot. That is that went all the way down that carb path to that tea over there. No, it did not. Yeah, it did. See that person standing there? It went all the way up over that hill. Wow. Got my new Tacomaos. Shout out to you, Grant Corvette. Top that one. Not good. Not a good start. Yep. But hey, we’re having fun. I’m deep over the green. Yours is short, right? Yep. We’re gonna have to play yours cuz mine went over the car path and who knows we’re going after that. All right. All right. So, Andy’s up. So far, we’re not really doing too hot. This is our third shot into par. Turn it around. Great shot. That’s a go in the hole. That was great. Come on. All right, we got a putt for par. We do. We got two putts. We do have a putt. It’s about 15 footer, 12footer. Not too shabby. The greens look pretty good today. Yeah, not bad. All right, we’re on the first green. We got two putts at par. First time to use my new Lab DF3 on the golf course. Break it in. That was horrible. All right, bogey to start. All right, bogey it is. All right, guys. We got par4, 341 yards. Let’s take a look at it. [Music] Let’s go make a birdie. This grip feels slippery for some reason. There you go. That’ll be in play. Toe ball. Teeing off with my five iron, my Tacoma 2011. Here we go. Let’s get one in play here. About where I said I wanted to play it. All right, guys. We are driving to our T-shots over the bridge. Over the bridge here. Not our best shots, but I think we got I think mine’s in play, though. Yep. We’re down this hill here. We need a birdie so bad. We got to chip this one in, man. I guess it’s eagle. Let’s go. One under. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Let’s just go with a bird here. Yeah, you’re right. Hey, we make it. We make it. We go. It’s about 150. Andy’s going with a nine. Smoothie. Smoothie King. Shout out to you, Smoothie King. Great shot. Sit down. Unbelievable. That’s a stinger. That’s over the green gun. Straight though. Philip, how you feel about that shot? Don’t talk about it. That’s what I thought. Apparently Andy and I need to settle down over here. I had a good shot. It just like was a flyer. Yeah. I mean, I hit that right where I was aiming, right? Um but we’re going to have to get up down for another par. Well, we haven’t had a part yet. We’re going to have to get this other down for par. Should we even bring our putters? I mean, come on. We’re going to make this. down. Well, looks like we actually do have to get the putters out today. That’s cool. Sorry, I’m a bird watcher. Yeah, you just can’t make a birdie. Neither can I. I’m going to play it straight, Philip, to just try to give you a good idea of what it’s doing if I can. Yep. And I’ll try to get it to the hole. All right, it’s straight. You saw it. It’s really straight. All right, Philip, we need this so bad. Go, go, go. Yes. Let’s go. I thought I didn’t hit it hard enough yet. Come on. That’s what I’m talking about right there. So, that puts us at one over through two. And the flag the flag just flew off the stick. We’re on fire. Good job. Thanks. All right, guys. All right, we made par. We got par. We need we need to make a birdie to get back on track cuz we’re wanting to shoot even par better. Yep. And to some of you out there, you might be looking at this like, “What are you talking about? Even par scramble?” We’re not great golfers, guys. I don’t know what our handicaps are exactly. We’re both probably mid to high handicaps. Yeah. We’re both probably about 15 to 18 somewhere in there. Yeah. So, uh, yeah, that’s a big deal for us. Yep. We got a par five here. It’s 488. This is where we can redeem ourselves. Tight fairway though. You got to hit a good drive. Absolutely. We’ll see if we can do it. We got to hit a good T- shot here. As you can see, it’s a treeine fairway both sides. Tight tight shot way left. Get out. Caught some lumber over there. Yes, I know I’m really steep on my down swing. So what? All right, Phillip, I’m sorry I keep putting all the pressure on you. I got my tailor made stealth driver and it’s a little bit of a glimmer of hope. That’s left, too. Gone. That’s gone. Lumber, you hear it? I heard it. All right. I think we’re going to have to find yours and use it because it’s gone. I think so. Probably one of the worst T- shots I hit in a while. At least in the real course. Maybe not on the simulator, but So, I know you’ve only hit a couple iron shots, but so far, what are your thoughts on the Tacoma? I really like the way they feel, but again, like I keep saying, my performance is what the bad shot is coming from. But I I think that honestly the better I get swinging and hitting the center of the face, the more feel I’m going to have as I’m playing golf, which I really like that. Yeah. And they’re still forgiving. Even when I hit a bad shot, they’re still forgiving. I’ve hit a few shots with them. I I will say when I catch it solid, it feels really nice. Feels really really good. I like the way the the flight of the ball is. Yeah. Dr. Pepper, if you ever want to sponsor, that’d be sweet. Would love to have Dr. Pepper sponsor. It’s 220 to the front of the green. 220 to Dr. Pepper sponsor. So good. Kirkland uh bottled water if you’re listening and watching. 235 to the flag. I’m just going to try to lay up for a little bit. All right. Andy’s laying up, guys. It’s cuz he’s smarter than me. Oh man, it’s so thick. That’s through. It’s through. That’s actually not bad. Shut my club down. I know that’s some thick rough. Yeah. Oh, be good. Going right little baby draw. Hey, we were in trouble and you got us out. That’s all that matters. What’ you hit? Four iron. I hit nine and yours went like 15 yards further. Okay, whatever. Just saying. 78 yards. We get this up and down. We got birdie and we’re back to even par. Oh, I chunked it. Tried to take some off of it and I chunked it. Yeah. Once again, the pressure’s on Phillip. Got to get up. Good shot. Yes. Good shot. Got about 4 feet for birdie. 4 foot for birdie. Ain’t too bad. I’m going to go around this way. All right. Oh yeah, baby. Putter time. Here we go. Can’t wait to get my lab putter. It is on its way. And as soon as that’s in, we’re going to have a video coming out. All right, guys. Got a little 4 and 1/2 ft putt for for birdie here to get back to even par. He made it. That’s all we needed. Back to even. Back to even. Real quick shout out to Tacoma, guys. These irons look amazing. Absolutely incredible. And they feel super super soft off the face. Check them out. What you got? 145. Playing down about 140. That’s really good on the green. Left green. Got a punt at it. Little right. I mean, not horrible shot, just not where I wanted it. We’ll go with yours. We’ll put that in for birdie and we’ll be one under. All right. 30 chance, guys. This is huge. Yeah. If we could somehow go one huge. It’s huge. Huge. If there’s somehow we can go one under. Yeah. Through what? Four holes. Uh yeah, that’d be sweet. Be pretty good. See if we can make a birdie. All right. You’re going to want this pin out. Yeah. Stay on there, flag. Stay on there. Just can’t hit it hard enough today. Like my mind’s telling me these are fast, but they’re not. So weird. Go in. Oh, dude. That was so close. It lipped out. All right. You want to tap it in? Sure. Just tap it in. Just tap it. Oh my word. What are we doing here? You got it. We want to give a shout out to all of you watching and our subscribers. We appreciate your support. Yeah. Couldn’t do this without you guys. So, thank you so much. Thank you so much. And we just got in the cart and we didn’t need to cuz the T- box is T- box is right here. So, we’re going to go hit our T- shots. Where are we at here? We got a par4. We got a par4 about 298 from the white. But you really can’t reach it because the trees, right? It dog legs to the right. That white flag is it. Yeah. So what’s the play then? So usually what I do usually what I do is hit a five six iron and then you have like a pitching wedge in the green. [Music] Okay. We’re going to not hit driver here because this hole goes straight and then instantly turns. You can see the flag. Flag is literally on the other side of those big trees. Yeah, it’s on the other side of these trees over here. And I went right in. That’s fine. That’s fine. That might actually be okay. Yeah, it’s usually fine if you go there because you can kind of punch it through the trees. Okay, that one’s in the trees, too. A bird fell out when I I saw the bird. Yeah, you might have hit the bird. We’ll see. All right, so we’re both in the trees. Let’s just hope that we have some kind of a shot. There’s a huge oak tree right in front of us, though. Yep. Oh man, it’s going to be tough. What’s your favorite soda, Dad? My favorite soda? Well, if we’re talking soda, I like root beer the best out of all sodas. And I like a variety of root beers, but right now I’m on a kick with the 1919 root beer. Super smooth, super creamy. It’s delicious. Check it out. 1919 root beer. It’s amazing. So, we got a shot right over this little tree here. You can see the pin out. The tea box is back there past that little bridge. That’s two in a row now. I’ve done that cuz I’m trying to take some off of it and I’m just bailing out. Do the right club. Do the right club. It’s over. Just a little far. Come on, Phillip. I don’t know what I’m doing, guy. Got some green to work with. All right, another chip. Try to get it up and down. Like that. Yep. Hey, that’s a par, right? Yeah, it’s par. All right, we’re good. We’re doing it. All right, on to the next hole. One of my least favorite holes here. Why? Because it is one of the most hilly holes on the course. Also, that guy back there on the mower completely stopped mowing and it went dead silent and it was super awkward. Got to his head. Got in my head, guys. Got in my head. [Music] Definitely want to go drive around this hole. Even if you had a bad shot. Um, bad shot. Yeah, we don’t hit bad shots. I get up and uh steep on that one. I’ll get that one on the next T. All right, we got to do better than that cuz that one is not going to be what we want to play. Perfect. What you want to do right down the middle? Yeah, we’re going to take that one. Might be a good idea. Get a steel shaft. Yeah, I actually did that once back in the day. Was it back in the day? I It was a Big Bera. Callaway Big Bertha and I got it with the steel shaft. What the heck? Even though graphite was like the thing. I thought, man, maybe that’ll help my stuff. It didn’t help me. Try anything and everything, right? And here we go. Holy cow, that’s steep. Yeah. I bet somebody’s rolled a cart out here time. Oh, yeah. Especially when they get drinking and stuff. What’s your favorite soda? My favorite soda is Dr. Pepper. We call it soda. You guys might call it pop. Everybody has their And some people just call it Coke. Not sponsored, but wish we were. Got to have it. Andy’s pulling out a Members Mark ball. Yeah, I am. I’m playing the Members Mark balls today. Uh if you haven’t watched our video on our golf ball reviews, go check it out. But I wanted to try these out on the golf course today. So far, I like the way they feel. I like the way that they come off the face of the club and then the performance around the green’s been pretty good. That’s pretty much right at it. Just a little left. Well, that hit somebody. Oh, I heard him hit his ball and I thought I hit somebody over there and then I heard somebody yell. It was him yelling for scared. Oh, be good. Right at it. I just don’t know if it’s going to be long or short or just right. That was a good shot. We’ll find out when we get up there. Yeah, I like that. I like that. Sounded good. Felt great. Let’s see uh when we get up here. Totally blind. I think I’m long. One of us is on. One of us is on. I think it’s you because I went left to yours. So, that’s going to be yours. Okay. Not bad shots considering where you’re hitting blind. We got a putt. All right. Let’s go make it. Sweet. One of the toughest greens on the entire course. There’s my divot. I got to fix that. Fix your divots, guys. Yeah. What’s the old saying? Take care of the course. Yeah. Take care of the course or I’ll kick your butt. Take care of the course. Of course. What we got here? Um, we got a putt. Um, probably like 21 ft maybe I would say. I don’t know. Sit down. And like I said, it’s smoking hot fast. The sun bakes on this green. It’s going to be right. It’s got to be right. Look at that thing. Great putt. Great. Great approach, man. That’s tough. That is a huge break. It’s straight. I see it as a straight putt. I don’t see hardly any break at all in it. I think it’s dead straight. I agree. Pushed it right. You pushed it. Yeah. Yeah. That’s why I need my lap putter. Did you feel like you pushed it or did it actually break? I mean, it looks like it breaks a little bit when I get down here. I’m going to go inside. Yep. That looks like a good line. Way to go. All right, guys. So, we’re even par. This is probably the second toughest hole on the whole entire course. It is a par three that’s about 200 plus yards. 220. And it’s got a huge dip in the ground just like the last hole does. [Music] 220 on the dot on the dot from the white T’s. 220. That was a toe ball. That was not good. Dang it. All right. Do better than I did. I’ll try. Solid. Just right. I hit the heel. It’s push to right. Came over that down there behind those trees. Huh? We’re in play though, right? I don’t know. I can’t see where it’s at. Okay. We have to find out when we get up there. Two bad shots. Hopefully one of them gave us a little bit of grace. That was the right clue. We’re going to play Andy’s guys. He didn’t catch it solid, but if he would have, we would have been right on the green probably. I literally hit that off the toe. Yep. I’m not even exaggerating. I believe you. Dad left his uh rangefinder on the tea box. I just went uh Tokyo drifting. Did you see that? Uh-uh. What’d you do? I was spinning. I came down that hill and I was like, “Whoa, whoa, whoa.” Spinning. I saw you backwards. I’m like, “What is he doing?” I spun down that hill. Go. Going too fast. And I just turned the camera off, too. Yeah. I started slowing down and I’m like, always put it in park, boys. It’s just so tough when it Yeah, when you’re up on a stance like that, it’s really is tough. Get up. Get up. Get up there. We’re on. It’s on. Not where I wanted it, but uh it’s all right. We got to put in it. All right. We’re on the green, but we got a long putt. Probably a 15 footer. Yeah, 20 foot putt almost. Yeah, probably more like 20. But uh yeah, see if we can put it in. We got two putts at it. All right. While you’re getting that, um I’m going to go get your ball from earlier. And here it is. Okay. It’s okay, you know. Get in. That was the line. That was the line. That was the line. Hold it left. Turn. Turn. Turn. Short. All right. That’s a bogey. Dang it. Bogey it [Music] is. Hole eight. Par three. 122 playing down to like 115. That’s the same direction as the last hole. So, the wind is literally coming from the left. Really strong right now, too. It’s picking up. All right. Andy’s got approach wedge in hand. We need a birdie so bad. We do. That’s good. Sit down. You see where it landed? Uhuh. Did it land short? No, I think it’s on the back of the green. I think I can kind of see it on the back. Oh, leave it alone, Win. Leave it alone. Missed the right. Yeah, just too far right. We’re going to have to go with Andes. Dang it. What’ you say? We have to go to Andy’s. I don’t think uh they were old. Yeah, they were 1932 to 2008. Yeah. Dang. Oh, there it is. Yep. All right, we’re going to go with Andy’s. We got a lot more green to work with there. Mine’s down over there. So, that was a like a 140 yard approach wedge somehow. Yeah. Did you see it bounce on the frame? Yep. Just a little bit short. I’m going to try something a little different because my confidence in a wedge when I’m at an angle like this is just So, I’m hitting eight iron right now. I’m just going to kind of pop it. Let it roll up there. Go, go, go. Sit, sit, sit, sit, sit. That’s perfect. Come on. Let’s go. falling out of my hat. Okay. Pressure’s on, man. Yeah. Yeah. Well, Two over. All right. A little bit little bit down right now. I’m being honest. Yeah, we had a shot at doing it and we just kind of choked on the last couple holes, but par threes got us today. Par three did get us today. Yeah. One hole left. Let’s go make a birdie. Let’s do it. [Music] Right down the middle. All right, got one in play. Nice job. Oh, be right, Phillip. That was a good shot. Boost my confidence. Yeah, two good drives. Yeah, we go. 75 yards. This has been the shot that’s kind of got me today. Not bad. Not bad. A little shorter of what I wanted, but we’re on for a putt. Sit down. Sit down. That’s right. down. I was trying to get on the back side and spin it back to the hole if I could, but I’m not tugging. It’s all right. Hey, you were aggressive. Yep. It looks like it’s pretty straight most of the way there and then about the last 5t or so, it starts to curve to the right. Breaks a lot more I thought. Get up. [Music] Well, there we go. Too overpar. Not what we wanted, but you know what? It’s golf. It’s sunny out. It’s sunny. It’s 70°. Beautiful weather. Can’t complain. So, we didn’t accomplish our goal today, which was to shoot even parsramble, but like we said back at the green, we’re playing golf. We’re having a good time. The weather’s beautiful. It’s really our my first round of golf for the year. We stay so busy. We haven’t gotten out to play a lot. So, wasn’t like I was expecting to go out and shoot a low score or anything, but it was fun. Yeah. Hit some decent shots. Had some fun. How do you feel about the Tacoma Irons? Yeah. I think once I start getting more consistent with my swing, I’m going to really fall in love with the things. They feel good. You hit some really good shots with them today. And I feel like when I’m hitting them, I can control it a lot better, too. Like when I do hit a good shot and I’m trying to do something like that for iron toward the trees. Like if I would have caught that branch, it would have probably been on the green. The one thing I noticed the most when you hit it solid, it didn’t curve a lot. Yeah. It went pretty straight, which is good for you because you have a tendency to snap it, hook it a lot. Yep. And so that’s good if you’re going to be able to control your spin better with it. Yep. No, I feel great with them. I love them a lot. And I felt good. I played the Sam’s Club ball today, Members Mark ball. I felt like it performed really well. Yeah, I didn’t feel a big difference in it compared to other name brand golf balls I’ve played in the past. I’m curious to play it some more and see how it performs, but I was pretty happy with it. Yeah, likewise with the Kirkland ball. I feel like it was great. Felt comfortable hitting it. Decent spin rates when it was around the green, too. I mean, it feels good. So, yeah, you had some good chips out there. Yeah. So, hey, this was super fun. Yeah, I had a good time. Thanks for tuning in. Yeah. And if you guys like the content, let us know if you want us to do more of it. We got tons of videos coming this summer. So, leave a comment. Also, what’s your favorite soda or pop? Yeah, black pepper for me. Yeah, root beer for me. Have a great day. See you guys. [Music] [Music]
