Hello and welcome. I am Karen the everything here at a Little Kinder and y’all take a look at this layout we’re scraping. I am in love with this one. I love a good grid layout. I feel like they are so versatile and you can get so many photos into one layout. I am going to do a little bit of stamping on this layout and we are going to get a bunch of photos. Just wait till the end to see that. So, I have pulled out some um Heidi swap stamps. And then I have some social uh I think it’s social paper planner, but she does some Disney stamps. Some really, really unique ones. And I am in love with them. So, this is a spiderweb Mickey head. And so, we’re going to use this in the background. This is going to end up being my title piece for this layout. And so I’m kind of excited about this. I have used these stamps a couple of times in the past. I have many, many more than I did originally. I have all of the Halloween and some of her Christmas ones. I will say that if you um look at her stuff and you decide that you want them, her store does kind of open and close and open and close and open and close and she doesn’t keep a huge inventory. So, usually Halloween stamps come out right around Halloween, Christmas, around Christmas time, etc., etc. So, here I am just getting my title ready. This says spooktacular and it’s one of the banners from um I think it’s called haunted. That’s the name of the Heidi Swap set. I really liked this one. This one built kind of funky old haunted h house looking mansion kind of things. And I’m just using it to um give me that cute banner. And then this is going to be part of my title. So, we are going to cut out these adorable little Mickey’s and we’re going to use those as well. So, in these stamp sets, I have this spider Mickey. I also have pumpkin Mickey’s and you will see me using that some here and then in some other layouts that I’ve been working on. I am trying to get all kinds of caught up on Disney trips and yeah when you go often you have lots of pictures and lots of memories and lots of thoughts and so I wanted to get this one done. The photos that we are going to be working with this time are from Fort Wilderness. This is the golf cart parade that happens. I think it’s the day before Halloween. Um, but y’all, this was so incredibly unique. I had never seen anything like this and I was absolutely blown away. Everybody decorates for Halloween. It’s a huge, huge deal. Like inflatables everywhere. Sights are decked out. We just had a little sign. We didn’t have all of the extra, but um people decorate their golf carts. Not everyone was in the parade. And this is definitely not all of the parade images. I definitely could have done a second page for this. I decided against it just because it was overkill. I decided to pick some of my favorites. There were lots of people who did um Nightmare Before Christmas, very popular theme with Jack Skeleton and Zero the Dog and OogieOogie. And so this one was super fun. I really loved seeing all of the different golf carts. And they’re not just decorated for the parade. Like for the whole week before, everyone is out in their golf carts. Now, I do not remember seeing Darth Vader driving around. He may have just been decorated for the for the parade. I do remember though seeing some of the others like the um Mater golf cart. I do remember seeing him parked and out and around and so that was really fun to get to see. This layout goes together super fast. It is um again a grid layout for me is an amazing layout because of how quickly it goes together. A little tip, grab Canva, go to um to the free version if you don’t pay for it and you can create circle photos and you just upload your photos to Canva. Go ahead and put them in the circle and then when you print them out they are circular for you. not a lot of work that um you have to figure out and punch and did you print it the right size and all that mess. It’s done for you. So once I had done that and punched out my circles really that was it. That was the hard work for this layout and maybe a little bit of stamping. Um of course it could be the getting everything lined up as well. That part I could have gotten the Tsquare out and I just I chose not to. Um, let’s talk about this paper for a second, y’all. This is a deep dive into the stash. That cute cute uh web paper is from my mind’s eye from 2006. Yes, you heard me right. 06. That’s how old it is. That’s how long I’ve held on to it. Haven’t done anything with it until today. And I grabbed three sheets of paper out of that paper pad and used all of them. Well, not all the paper pad, but those three sheets. And I really liked it. I really like the neutralness of this spiderweb background for my layout. It works really, really well. So, we are going to put these little Mickey’s on some pop dots. Give them a little bit of dimension so that um they’re lifted up from the layout. I know in a page protector it won’t be as noticeable, but I just like it. I like the way that it’ll cast a shadow and that that is something that I was looking for. We are going to add the word parade in letter stickers here in a second. And I am using the Pink Fresh Studios letter stickers and I really like them. These are kind of a a green color which I felt like went with and didn’t really detract from my layout. Although there’s not a whole lot of green. There’s a little bit in that stripe paper and that’s absolutely fine for me. I It did not bother me one bit, but I really do love this. Now, to get my letters on, here is a trick for you. I am using a Tsquare and I started with the middle letter and then I got them all on and decided that I didn’t like the spacing and so we are going to move them and that you know that happens right. Yeah. What I didn’t take into account is that um it’s a sixletter word and really the space needed to be in the absolute middle and not the middle letter. So, grabbed my Cricut pokey tool, you know, that you pull things off your mat with, and use that to help my fingers get the word where I wanted it. So, here I’m just fiddle fattling and getting that right where I want that to be. Sorry that you’re having to look at the top of my head. Well, I did that, but I didn’t have any other way to do this. So, my friends, down below there is all the information from everyone who worked on this layout. I highly recommend that you go look at it and check out everyone else’s layouts. This one is fantastic. I am adding just the words um just a little bit of of added information and some lines on this vellum so that it stands out a little better. But down below you will see all of the information to the scrap lift crew and all of their layouts. And I really, really suggest that you go check them out. They are absolutely fantastic. Everyone has a little bit of a different twist on this layout. As I said before, a grid layout is an amazing thing for scrapbooking and getting a lot of photos in there. In the original, she only had six photos and I have one more because I took out that middle section of cutesy and only have two that are um not photos. But I thank you so much for being with me. Until we are together again in the next video, my friend, go make some memories. Bye-bye.
