A pretty honest self appraisal.
His touch inside 150 is not stellar. Fix that and he's gold
Using wedges the same length as his long irons isnt doing him any favors inside 150 yards, He needs to cut down the short irons, or he will continue to struggle with distance control. Its an easy fix but he seems very reluctant to rethink the single length shaft system.
Bryson is having so much fun out there that some times it becomes a distraction for his game. He really likes to whack that ball off the tee and watch ot fo soaring through the sky.

his driving and short game are world class, mid range game is just average right now
Gotta love how hard he is on himself while finishing 2nd. He so close to getting consistent wins.
He has two majors, but aside from that he phones it in. Only 7 tour wins and 3 LIV wins in 3 years. That's not elite, and it's because he only gets up for majors and instead phones it in at those regular events. That's his choice but personally I think that hurts him in majors because he has to climb the mountain to get his mindset and his game ready as opposed to it already being there. I think if he had the same week-in, week-out work ethic that Tiger did in his prime, Bryson would be world #1.
I am not exaggerating when I say a 60 year old dude in my weekly foursome has better wedge play from 60-120 yards than Bryson. 370 yard drive, 60 yards out and leaves it FORTY FEET from the hole. Another hole, 100 yards out middle of the fairway, easy to get to pin, and MISSES THE GREEN! Good GRIEF!
Bryson is a true entertainer with natural flair… he will get his shots ….
