It's a mighty fine squad overall. I can see that Farrell really knows what he's doing, as opposed to Gatland. Guttered for Cherry, Doris & Lawrence. That said, I'm not sure if Cherry would've been considered even if he had remained injury-free. I probably wouldn't have included Elliot Daly & Mack Hansen. Tomos Williams & Jac Morgan are possibly big calls, but let's see how they go. Players I would've added: Ben White, Darcy Graham, Blair Murray, Ben Thomas, Jack Willis, Fraser Dingwall, and Tom Roebuck. A lot of them did have very tough competition though. Hopefully some of them will get called up as injury cover later in the tour. I'm still very happy with most of the selections. There are a lot of exciting players in this squad. A lot of rugby enthusiasts are surprised that Owen Farrell didn't get the nod, but I think he's a bit past it and not far off retirement unfortunately.

I would call it a Barbarian team, but rugby is a proffesional sport, I hope Australia is ready, it is a privilege to play against the LIONS, ever more now since it includes more then just the British Island's.

The Australian tour is always a good one for Lions fans as you know you are most likely to win but when you tour NZ and RSA it usually ends in tears
