You want to know why I call it the Louis Vuitton rule? It’s because when I teach the ladies this rule, 18.1 stroking distance, that you could use this for a ball anywhere on the golf course at any time from the location of your last shot. It only costs a one stroke penalty. Period. Even if it was in the bunker. I tell them, you’re going to go home, tell your hubby about this rule. He’s going to tell you you’re wrong. He’s going to tell you it cost two strokes to come out of the bunker. It’s going to tell you you can’t do all this stuff and you’re just going to place a bet and you say, “Well, all right. If you don’t believe me, let’s bet. Let’s bet a Louis Vuitton.” Pick it out online. Know which one it is that you want. The purse, the wallet, the tote, I don’t care. Even the luggage, you’re going to win because 18.1 says you can do it anywhere on the course. It’s the Louis Vuitton rule.

  1. 18.1 references moving the ball by accident it explains how to handle it. It doesn’t give you free relief with only 1 stroke when ever you don’t like the lie.😂

  2. Interesting, anyone can declare their own ball unplayable
And take stroke and distance. It can be done on the green, why not the bunker?
