Hey, in this video I’m going to give you a very simple two-step slice solution. And yeah, I know I know you’ve watched slice videos before. You’ve tried every gimmick. You’ve watched every video. You’ve read every article and you’re still slicing. But I’m going to put a 100% guarantee on this. So, if you watch all the way through to the end, you’re going to see what I mean by that. So, if you’re ready to get rid of your slice once and for all and get some bonus distance on top of that, by all means, stay tuned. [Music] All right, let’s start with clearing up a couple of myths and misconceptions of what creates a slice and other ways that people have told you to try to fix it and why they don’t work at all. Okay, so I’ve put a couple of colored sticks down on the ground to represent what you might call the pattern of a classic slicer. So, we have the yellow stick representing the club’s path from out to in. And then you have an orange one representing what might be the face being open. So, the classic slicer, big-time slicer, this won’t cover more than a third to a half of you, unfortunately. And this is why you’re having a hard time fixing the problem. The real reason that the ball is slicing on you is the difference between the face and the path. So, imagine this is a piece of pizza or a piece of pie. And you can put down in the comments below which one you’d rather eat. The size of the pie is how much your golf ball is going to slice. So, now this sets us up for our two-step slice cure. Step one is going to be to get rid of all that extra, all the excess verticality in your golf swing. Now, I picked up one of these on Amazon.com for 25 bucks. The stick was $2 at Home Depot. You could put a noodle on here if you wanted to be safer. Okay, now I’ve set the stick to about 45° or so. And forgive me if I’m off by a few degrees, but just for this uh demonstration, this will be just fine. a poor golf swing and you’ve heard of over the top will go back parallel to that stick. But then you get this big loop over the top of the shoulder and it would come down on top of this stick. Remember it goes back to that face to path relationship. So first thing we got to do and this is going to be magic. This is absolutely going to be magic when you go through these two steps. I want you to take your driver, set this at about 45, and just practice easy going under the stick. Okay, just like that. Not only will you get this rid of some of the vertical, but you’re also going to move the stick from outside in, hopefully to a little bit inside to out. Remember, if we’re going to draw the ball, which is the aim of this video, we’ve got to get the face to be left of the path for a right-hand golfer. So, you’d want the yellow stick just a little bit in right field and then the orange stick to be more straight. So, I would recommend getting some kind of setup like this. if you have a a grass backyard or someplace grass or dirt that you could stick the pointy end in, you could do it that way without the duad. But again, just practice real easy coming in under that stick and approaching it that way. Got to go slow. You can break the shaft on this if you don’t have a noodle on it or if you swing too fast. Okay, let’s move on to step two. Now that we’ve addressed the plane of the swing and a little bit of the path, but now you’re going to see, you may have seen this if you watch my videos all the time. You could use a tree or a post or something like this. And we’ve got to learn how to release the club head. You see, most slicers make one of two errors. Either number one, they take the handle of the club and they pull it into the ball this way. And that gets you the arm bends and you get into the chicken wing look. you know, something like this if you film yourself. And essentially what you’re doing when you pull the handle through is the head wants to just stay behind it with the face open like this. The face does never wants to come around the hand to square up. Instead, it would get pulled through like that. The other thing that slicers do, and this is what short hitters do as well, is they squeeze and freeze the hands right before impact. So instead of getting your hands to be super duper supple where the head of the club can freely pass them like this, you tend to squeeze it and hold this angle and not let the head pass freely. And there’s your open face again. So got to address those things. You want to grip this nice and light and supple, real wiggly waggly like that. Now if you line up with your elbow or your forearm lined up right in the center of your chest, can’t touch this. You don’t want to touch this with your elbow. Got to get rid of the pull. Draw it back. Form a 90° angle to the right forearm to the club shaft. And you’re going to throw this thing 180° around the pole. See how my left elbow folds and bends? It’s the only way I can get it all the way around. And now I’m at a 90° angle to the right forearm. So 180° and it’s a whipping action. Listen for the swish here. Okay. a little swish going on without pulling the handle through. So now I’m slowing the handle down and I’m accelerating the club head and I’m getting it to come around and square up to the target. So it’s not open anymore. So I want you to practice this many, many times. Just like this. Throw it around the pole and hold for a second. Throw it around the pole and hold for a second. And you’ll notice right forearm is straight and over the top of the folding left, not touching the pole, 90° angle from right forearm to club shaft. All right, so we’re back on the mat again. All we’ve got to do to cure the slice. It’s going to sound simple, but this is magic’s going to happen for quite a few of you when you follow these two steps. We’re going to try to swing the driver underneath the orange stick and not over the top of it. And then we’re going to try to feel that sensation we were having of wrapping the club around the pole and letting this elbow fold into that same position again. Now, a bit of of warning. You’re going to have to feel that way early. Remember, it takes a second for this to straighten out. You can’t just get to the ball and expect it’s instantly going to catch up. It takes a second. So, I want you to start pouring that around the pole trick. I want you to start pouring that on really early. It’s okay to have some ugly hooks early, but let’s give it a try. Here we are going to combine the two exercises and hopefully we can get a nice in to out draw going. Okay, before I get to my 100% guarantee, I want you to hit the like button, subscribe, and leave a comment down below because that really helps the YouTube algorithm push this out to more golfers, and I want to cure more slices. I've used this slice fix move with 1000's of golfers with nearly 100% success rate! It's like a miracle and give you bonus distance as well!
I hit a push slice the other day, the first one in months. I was just being lackadaisical about the drive. Though overall my driving is not the best shot I hit by any means, so the information is still useful. I hit a baby draw about 225, carry. sort of lame.
I’m all in to try this. Thanks
