talk about y second that lad right should get into the golf absolutely any more admin to cover off um I don’t think so no I think we’ve uh we haven’t played any golf have we no storm Eugene or whatever his name is Owen Owen e an Irish name I think wasn’t it yeah yeah so more bad weather so last night we got to get straight into TDL I think so last last night was absolutely epic so we’re recording on uh Tuesday the 29th of January is it 28th 28 28th of January but last night was Monday the 27th and you had uh Jupiter and Boston took to the Sofi Center yeah um which was build of the big one TIG versus Rory and it it didn’t disappoint it felt like TDL finally sort of arrived last night yeah few um mixed reviews over recent weeks on the first few few sessions um but last night was actually like it was it was brilliant I didn’t watch any of it it was too late for me I was um I was busy doing other stuff but I think there was always going to be teething problems with with the tgl and I think it’s clearly showing that it’s got a little bit of a future on it which is good yeah I think after last night I think there’s definitely something in there um and the other players I think need to need to have seen last night and harness what was going on because not only was the golf good but there was a good atmosphere and there the players were like bouncing off each other like Good Vibes it was coming across on the um the microphones as well because the point in being miced up not saying anything but that was coming across well as well um players having banter with each other and like the crowd and and talking to the commentators back as the commentators were in the rear um so much more going on than the last few weeks and um yeah it was it was quality and it went all the way as well it was the first time so it’s the fourth match they’ve had so far it’s first time it’s gone to overtime as well yeah so it was a draw um finished 3-3 in regulation time and then they had this like like a penalty shoot out nearest the pin yeah it was like one V one nearest the pin who every W that they get the points and obviously it was best of three yeah um and Jupiter ended up taking it got themselves off Off the Mark after getting absolutely ped by La a couple of weeks ago yeah well it was always as I said it was always going to have tee problems but hopefully this is I’m going to catch the Highlights today I think yeah definitely worth a watch um t t it was good use of the hammer throw as well yeah like we’ll come on to last week and in the SEC but um it there was a lot more back and forth with the hammer which makes it interesting because they puts a bit of Jeopardy on whether just do people out there question him whether or not with the hammer you either if you accept it the hole becomes with double points or if you reject it you forfeit the hole and lose that one point yeah so there’s a better Jey there as whether right do we just accept that we’re going to lose the point here or do we of take take it on and that had a massive impact last night um there a scenario where Woods had like a seven footer to half the hole and M thre the hammer down so it was either Woods rejects the hammer gives up the hole with his seven foot put ahead of him or accepts the hammer has to make the seven foot to get um to have the hole otherwise M team takes two points yeah so it was huge and then um what happened so maroy had the 9 foot put to get them into that position hold it and then um they came I think M ton came up to tiger and said they just throw the hammer he said accept it like there wasn’t even Split Second of debate in his mind accepted it drain the but it was class that’s awesome it was probably like dramatic how did Rory come across he was good um cuz he’s he’s a bit he’s a bit stti iny Yeah but um he was a lot more relaxed last night he come across eyes I think yeah was it Dynamics between him and tiger good yeah no nerves like no whenever you playing with Tiger Woods I think there’s nerves isn’t they no matter if you’re playing he’s just got that something about him any yeah so but like you think Tom Kim is on was on their team last night he replaced Homer and Tom Kim was like just absolutely up for this like I think he he B from like he’s a completely different generation he’s a young kid and he was like this is this is class and he he proper embraced it and he’s there chest pumping tiger and going up to him so even though Tiger has got that or in that moment like it was they were all on the same sort of Level Playing Field and all having a good laugh it’s less stiff as a game is it than than actual golf golf’s always yeah always been a bit of a stiff yeah and he almost hold the chip I think he he had a chip I was to have the hole or win the hole and that just kind of went by and it was um it was really it was really good to watch and then Jupiter won the shoot out at the end 2-0 um what about Atlanta yeah so we’ve had there’s been two matches since we last recorded hasn’t it yeah um my team aren’t doing very well are they no so that’s that’s Zero from two for yourselves in New York golf club I think I think I knew that was happening to be honest I did predict this because looking at the teams it was a bit of a MV boys when it yeah I um I watch a bit of it and Matt Patrick just looks so out of place yeah he doesn’t he doesn’t suit it not really got the sort of relaxed no banter from him he’s not getting’s he’s not J judging the shots he’s all like he’s all over the place and really I don’t know if he’s letting it down but he’s played both games and he’s struggled yeah he put’s good mat Patrick he’s like he’s just not very good in his long game and it’s it’s it’s not it’s til entity isn’t it playing on a Sim we we found that we played last week on The Sim it’s totally different you don’t know where you’re hitting the ball sometimes so get in bushes in the bush you no idea if you actually got a branch in front of you or not so you just open but yeah I mean they didn’t have that problem um but yeah um so Matt Fitzpatrick and his New York go team are struggling Zero from two yeah and got up against it now to make the playoffs they played Atlanta that was their first game yeah 40 whiteash yeah who have we got coming up then um just just on that like last week I don’t know if you noticed but so Atlanta was um oh P Patrick kley really horal yeah I can’t for Life remember who the the third member of the team was now it was um Justin Thomas yeah Justin Thomas because obviously he he shot lights out yeah um but they didn’t throw at the hammer to start didn’t throw it all game it didn’t get thrown once and there was a clip of C getting hor and Thomas over and saying if we don’t throw this we stay ahead then what’s the point was throwing it cuz we’re just giving them opportunity to get back in and so I mean that said a lot about him and his I’m boring he is he didn’t miss he didn’t miss the shot clock though last night we had the first shot clock violation Tiger Woods was over like a 10-ft putt and and he had two two two timeouts left as well and let the shot cut R down what hell just a bit just really weird he was stood over the put ages I was kind of watching thinking you done this to try and create a bit of like conversation yeah and done this on purpose because there’s no reason he couldn’t have just in the stadium as well got the hary when it comes down to 10 seconds it’s like b b bom there’s no way he couldn’t have known that he had that wasn’t his his 7 foot Hammer p no just a I can’t remember what was on it but yeah he took too long yeah that was TDL it’s um stepped up massively last night and I’m looking forward to it kicking on and the the the schedule coming up for the tgl as well is getting a bit bit crazy yeah so they’ got they’ve got games on I think there’s three next week on the same day yeah um a lot of travel in it for these guys who were playing on tour as well like Homer he’s popping up everywhere in different tournaments on the European tour and the PGA Tour well we’ll get on to him because he just um he didn’t finish the farmers this week did he maybe he was KN from all his travel probably but yeah um so next week on the tgl Monday we’ve got three matches 1 P p.m eastern time which is 6 PM UK we’ll actually get a game in at the normal time here Atlanta against La yeah both unbeaten your team three hours later 4 p.m. Eastern what that’s 9:00 p.m. our time can watch that one as well yeah at Atlanta play again back to back just realized Atlanta playing back toback matches what in the same day same day oh yeah 1: p.m. 4 p.m. so the bay um and then yet to the bay and then the bay go on to play Boston as well in the third match of the day I suppose it makes a lot of sense though for them to play back to back given the schedules these guys have got I’d love to got tickets to that one yeah yeah that would be class wouldn’t it just sitting there for like six hours whatever just if last night was anything to go by anyway and then um the following day on Tuesday we got Jupiter against New York yeah you guys need to win that one think we’re going to change we’re going to be a 10 Co yeah that’s that’s t so um move on to PJ tour yeah Farmers Insurance open bit of a Mad wasn’t it weather didn’t help weather didn’t help I got a bit of I got a bit of wind that uh threw some illness in the camp as well yeah so I think that’s what um contributed there was 18 pulled out in the end I think sh was shule Shuley was injured wasn’t he yes um hom pulled out after the first round I think just yeah just an absolute wash really yeah the um the weather didn’t help to they got delayed and then they had to come the rounds in on the weekend yeah and you seen you seen by the scoring 00 won it for a PGA Tour event it’s unusual isn’t it very unusual Harris English Nam BL bit of a blast from the past actually I’ve not heard from him for a while um Sun JM one of pick for this week played well TI for four and um Danny will it tire for ninth this week which is getting himself back in there because he’s not being very good recently has he no not seeing him near the top of many leaderboards really the Poltergeist was up there all the way and he shot six over on the last day scared by the wind yeah some people who were up there fell away on the last day there was um there was a moment where I thought Joel Damon yeah and where Brian might have just given given us incredible viewing because obviously Brian’s on his YouTube isn’t he yeah yeah and um Joel Damon everyone’s kind of rooting for after his full swing appearance on Netflix last year as well but both both faded on the last day unfortunately one of the most surprising things for me was Rosner actually made the cup oh and Ros makes an appearance he’s going to do you win this season no have nothing to ad I can’t remember what tourament was but he was a massive let down just before Christmas he was it was the um he was like the favorite top of the world rankings was he was he the one before Marius yeah it was top of the well rankings highest well ranked in the event well number one rankings AB B um but yeah mat armor as well Lov oberg was back the um seven over back back last day wasn’t it like the 63 on the um the opening day thought thought he were going to justify the Booky odds and just just steamroll everyone but don’t know if the illness got the better of him but he’s had a bit of a bit of a rough final three days theara struggled as well not um not too many big names really I’m not a fan of Thea you know not a fan swings this is my uh La Golf Club the swing is mad so so many compensations with his swing been reviewing a swing recently I’ve been reviewing swings in general just just for a bit of background yeah to to see why we can improve our swings so that that’s been my sort of this week’s sort of thing I know I’m going off P here but you know cigar brings it up and then he he’s he back here like this bringing it down I mean it’s is very unique but I just don’t know how how much his back is going to take going forward and that was a pointless segment but right was disappointed um Chris Venture didn’t get it all in one just been a head headline that wrote itself all over the place wouldn’t it a ventur whole Detective yeah that’s the Farmers Insurance open Harris English up to 35 in the world yeah gets himself a fifth in R Cup standings for USA as well so it’s early days and that’s yeah he’s not going to likely to likely to stay there is he but that gets him guaranteed into the Masters and the PJ Championship yeah so very um very good week for him you ever seen Men In Black yes you know when the guy turn the first one when he turned into the um Tommy Lee Jones no when he turns into like the zombie the first guy oh yeah looks like Harris English random content for you there any more to add on the farmers no I didn’t watch any of it no cuz it’s a PJ to well you might be a bit more interested in this one probably still won’t watch any but Pebble Beach AT&T yeah it’s got the big names it’s it’s a class course yeah two courses Yes actually yeah um where’s the other one spy glass oh yeah Pebble Beach and spy glass um it’s it’s pretty much as good as a major field as you’re going to get I think they’re all playing um all all the top well rank players playing are from Brighton obvious reasons um Scott is back first appearance of the year since his uh he got injured his hand freak injury didn’t he um so he’s got himself back fit and ready for this one yeah Rory marawa I think the che shle playing actually or is he ruled himself I don’t think shle is playing I think he still be injured pulled out a couple of weeks ago didn’t he and he didn’t play in his um tgl game so I think he’s I think he’s injured um but aside from aside from him Top Field do you think got any uh any surprises in store Scot I think Rory will do well I think he’s in a rich Viner form um it’s got to be between them two aren it though I don’t think it’s um is he just going to like he always does start slow though and get it going too late I I think he’s when you playing in America though he can do that because I don’t think it’s as difficult as the caes has been playing Pebble Beach so if there’s a bit of wind like last week yeah anyone’s game yeah actually played Pebble Beach last night what not last night it was the night before actually on the PlayStation 2K 25 yeah 2K 23 I’m still back back in the uh in the Dos of that it’s a class cost though did you get on the dance Flor on the seventh I I actually shot a 63 yeah yeah that’s how realistic that game is right uh any any thoughts on who you think might do well this week in that then yeah Rory Scotty hard to look past yeah yeah so I think Justin Thomas has started playing well again he’s started easing his way back into the Reckoning yeah and I’ve read the start yesterday that over the last four years so since 2020 that Patrick Klay has the best scoring average in this tournament really M all right slow bastard but uh he might be want to keep an eye on this week if if you can keep your eyes open yeah because he will bore everyone to death yeah but he might might just get it done because he’s um yeah seems to like it around here I’d love I just want to see Tommy win on the P to just he’s got to get one eventually he’s been been on there too long he would he’d win it if his putting was any good well it’s not he want if if the win gets up though he’s got the game to to put himself in positions as others might struggle yeah he you’ve got to be an all-rounder though and he’s not at the moment like he’s I don’t know whether the clo grip is working for him to be honest who I to give advice I I agree so yeah I’ll probably even though I can’t stand them for his slow play I probably go and his views on being paid for the r c that’s debate for later in the year MH I’m probably going to lean towards kley for this fair enough yeah I’ll definitely be watching it yeah so it’s proam over the first two days yeah um and then just the pros on the weekends no cut all 80 players will play all four days providing they don’t just have have enough the win and cry off again you have enough there’s a few viruses going around is yeah uh Jordan be back as well actually yeah yeah he’s got a sponsor exemption into this along with Ricky Fowler how do you feel about that I don’t know I think there might be more deserving players who have shown a bit of form and yeah probably be sitting there a bit of grief that they not been selected but he can understand from the sponsors perspective talk yeah they want to get the people the ratings open and get the the big names iny yeah where is Pebble be is California honestly could San Francisco it’s not far from San Francisco is it California just trying to San [Music] Francisco trying to find out the time difference in San [Music] Francisco eight hours behind yeah going to be watching yes good great thing about YouTube now though it’s easy to catch up on the Highlight as when you on you don’t have to wait for like Sky to bang on the the Highlight show like 1:00 in the afternoon and then the M says we’re going out [ __ ] yeah thank God for that yeah Lana Del Ray yeah she did well didn’t she cracking set of tits oh sorry that was Marcus Armitage arms and TS yeah yeah he played well didn’t he Alejandro Del re did just unbelievable just 2200 par just blew the field away and it was a tough tough golf course as well you see by the first day when Tom mckibban Daniel hilia they they were all way over par after the first day and they needed a really good second round but it was didn’t happen for him did no Del R to be fair to him he um he was just that consisten as well um all week it wasn’t as if like he just had a storm round and pull him back into it he went four under and then the last three rounds 6 under like 68 66 6 66 that’s the dream that is the dream tournament for him is it probably not going to happen again well I don’t know he said he he said he in his interview afterwards he feels like a good closer event he’s just not been putting himself in position to close it out so when he’s got himself in front he said It felt easy and he was quite relaxed yeah which is very good mentality to have isn’t it really good so if he can s game out get a bit of consistent get him into positions maybe he could he could kick on yeah what’s his well ranking um that’s his he’s up to about 140 145 I think he’s just won his first DP World Tour event though on 70 starts got confess I heard of him beforeand but he’s a Spanish L he had a bit of a contingent following him Pablo Lal was there watching him from he probably grw up with all the uh no he hasn’t ignore that no but you bet they do all play to play together yeah that’s that what you’re going to say um yeah he’s a bit older in he B four shot four shot Victory like absolutely fair play to him unbelievable and he yeah four shot over Marcus Armitage who um I’m glad to see back because he’s been in the do the last few years and he’s he played really well actually P Che for him yeah he was a very very good T green and um especially the first couple of days I said to you then after the first down is put like he he all a ridiculous puts on the first day and I thought that’s not sustainable so he’s going to drop off and uh kep I mean after his 63 didn’t obviously match that but he still put a few three decent rounds together to play well on the weekend um but they didn’t they didn’t give anyone else a Hope on a shred a Hope on some who PO he came he came back didn’t he corrected by the commentators this weekend there in po um very solid week for him David but it’s David as well not David yeah definitely not David Dave David po Dave Dave was nice to see him coming back reading an article about like for this upcoming event this weekend and he um he’s got quite a good record in the Middle East yeah so might be one to um have a little think about for Bahrain yeah but he’s he’s getting on he’s got to be in his 40s now he’s been for ever hasn’t he and he just kind of like just ticks over doesn’t really set the world Al light but you always see his name over in a about yeah I’m surprised with this field actually for this week in brain um I don’t know whether we’re moving on to that yet I think we’re going to have to yeah um because of the the PE Beach I thought the field would be so depleted but it’s actually a decent field um but I think it’s we’re in the international swing now aren’t we everyone’s come back after the Christmas breaks and everything I think that’s why the AF raage was such a bad field but yeah I’m pretty um we’re only playing for two and a half million only one one can dream can’t um but yeah I think same as last week two and a half two and a half million and same rad AAL points it so it’s another one where it’s not going to attract a big names is it no but you know it’s it’s good enough field though for for what it’s offering absolutely Patrick Reed’s playing again Jimmy Walker he’s fell off a cliff massively and Jimmy Walker walked off a cliff keep walking Jimmy I find Max Homer down there no not to episode three there um so so we got let’s have a look at the sort of highest world rank players then we got Allison again Allison’s back again another good performer in the Middle East historically he’s done well there his P was so cold this week though was it oh my God didn’t see much of them really CU what what what I saw was kind of mainly focused on the on the Friday he was I watched quite a bit on the Ferrari and he was just every he had a puff of B on pretty much every o from within 10 foot and he missed dropped and then I think he was about the 10th o he just hold this absolute snake from off the green is like what like how’s that work but he uh yeah he wasn’t he wasn’t P so if he gets his P so he he was playing really well [Laughter] snake oh my God so Allison’s up there Roman Lang gask yeah sh recent form not looking good though Miss cut last time out TI 45th yeah um and then pu got himself up to 87th in the world so when you consider he’s a live golfer yeah that’s and he’s only like in his very early 20s I think he might actually just be 20 yeah that’s good going he’s class yeah really good player so looking forward to seeing him again yeah uh lorri Canter yeah good started this year Well hasn’t he really well team cup and then third last time out didn’t play this week did he no and but he’s back out in Bahrain another Jordan Smith also historically does well at this in this part of the world yeah nard Peterson he missed the CT last time out but I think he’ll come I think he’ll come back this week I I picked him in fantasy team last week didn’t I talk about tomorrow but he um yeah just didn’t get it going at all this week same for Mr Parry John two miscuts in the row two M Cuts in a row I mean d there a classic week before but yeah yeah but he he won won Miss cat Miss cat that’s just the the pillar of inconsistency isn’t it yeah so maybe we’re going to have to factor that and that’s three Mis Cuts in his last five events he’s going miss cut T second win this Miss C so um if you look at him from from fancy perspective it’s might be one to avoid after all we’ve um biged him up yeah he’s um can’t be relied on by the looks of it might be a watching brief this week see how it gets on yeah and then with Patrick Reed before you start S of he’s very steady on the tour in he on the DP World Tour Patrick Reed yeah he is literally a top 10 player in he every single one he should be he should be there about every week I think he’s uh he’s class above these really I can’t believe he’s actually 115 in the world considering he’s major Champion he’s he’s got the game AR he he’s living it he’s not been getting the ranking points oh is that what it is he’ll start climbing back up now if he’s playing DP well all regularly again he should be he should be Head and Shoulders above this field really give him where he’s been in golf yeah well I think so and I’ll I’ll I’ll talk more about that on on the fancy Club cuz uh yeah that’s I’ve ticked him I think he’s going to win yeah but he’s he’s the booky’s favorite is he is he I’m I’ve not seen the odds 14 to one pu must be up there is he yeah 14 to one as well I think think he’s join P Reed Allison they’re what the The Bookies are leaning towards so they know the stuff as well The Bookies they have they have a lot of insights don’t they in there so that is uh the RAS alkea covered off um we’ve got Dylan forell he’s back as well he won this last year yeah well I mean what he’s done since you know what he’s done since and probably worked in his father’s restaurant or something he looks like a pizza boy and I just don’t think he’s uh sorry D last four starts 35 47th tie for 10th tie for 50th so I’m not um ion I’m not going to be backing him for for a defense of the this title no that was really mean anyone else you Fus in your little little mate no miss last week I was annoyed with him last week naughty you naughty he was he was so set up to do well last week given his previous week how solid he was TD green and he just didn’t find it so now I don’t think he’ll do well I think it pains me to say it but Patrick the one to beat this week maybe Soderberg and nard Peterson cut off an eye on the Mel and aora as well yeah um he looks different don’t he aora shaved his head on he do he yeah used to have B long locks didn’t he Goldilocks is that not hgo you not get mixed up complet yeah cut that out hang on let me check I might be wrong Theo’s got nice long looks though just why we F the a time hialgo yeah completely completely wrong player yeah CH sh don’t watch this [ __ ] so that’s the DP world all covered off we’ll we’ll see how they get on and we we’ll analyze the outcome of that in next week’s show show yeah next on the agenda is I thought you going to tell us yeah I was um Sergio Garcia Sergio Garcia night love to see it back on the DP World Tour not till July by all accounts yeah he’s um trying to fit it into his schedule obviously he’s got his live commitments who’s paid his fines at last bullet swallowed his pride I’m Miss seen him there though he’s growing up he was one of my favorite ever players really I thought he was just he had the Persona he had the game seen him live so many times and he’s just class his ball striking is unbelievable so good remember when he used to have the a little anxiety didn’t he over the ball regrip every five minutes remember that but yeah it’s nice to see it I can’t wait to see him back um I think when you go and play on live if you don’t keep up with it the tournaments aren’t that close together are they no so they have generally sort of have a couple of weeks and a couple of weeks off yeah so it’s not depends how how much he’s prepared to commit to it it’s not widespread news as well at the moment live is it so you don’t see a lot of it in the papers or the on socials I think it’s more it’s a bit Shadow band so yeah I mean they start back up next week I think yeah second week I’m looking forward to I’m going to get into it this season yeah we were talking about the uh run in a fantasy league as well aren’t they yeah not played that before but we’re going to have a have a delve into that and we’ll we’ll cover that off on probably next week’s fantasy podcast so just just keeping it put it out there if you want to if you want to if you’re bit of interest and goes defin um yeah just on Serio so he’s paid them fines he’s looking at com back onto the DP World Tour in July and B he’s had his Masters win didn’t he y was it 2007 somewh yeah and because of he’s been on live and not getting his well ranking points on that he’s not exempt from any of the other Majors so he’s going to need to qualify for them this year he’s wi he will do yeah yeah he didn’t get any open last year I think he’s should have V at West LS did West L he was up here anyway trying to qualify no I didn’t know well we’ll see work otherwise i’ gone down to watch him yeah absolutely um but do you reckon so if he’s only coming back to the DP World Tour in July I think you’ve got until the end of August to get radical qualification points in or late August so he’s given himself about six weeks you reckon he’s going to make it or is he just trying to put himself in the eye of like Luke Donald and say listen I’m Beav now consider me Pro pick yeah R Up’s the dream for these guys in it yeah especially he’s had so much he pulled up any trees on the um I don’t think he was his head was in it though to be honest with you I think he was he’s made enough money hasn’t he so but he probably wants to get really back into it doesn’t he was Fireballs yeah well we I mean we’ll cover live off in a bit more detail but he’s he had um Thomas Peters on his Fireballs team Thomas Peters has just joined the four races in the in the close season for the so that they’re interesting because they’ll be they’ll stronger this year CU we got DJ Reed yeah um Harold Barner at third and now Thomas Peters also was a bit stronger yeah we’ll cover them all off ahead of the the opening week on the Live season yeah exciting I’m going to get into it this season just hope the um they come over here a bit more mean they had the JCB last schedule’s out yeah just the one in the JCB again but um going to try and get to that this year at least for one day see what it’s um see what it’s all about yeah we’re going to go to we’re going to go to the JCP have decided in July big news YouTube this week enormous news whether you like the news or whether you think it’s great or not it is pretty big yeah it’s m Rick Shields the OG of YouTube golf I think many would agree that that’s the case is it yeah absolutely yeah join as join Liv is their official content creator so we we talked last week about the the teasers that he kept putting out thought he was releasing some sort of movie um but yeah he left a couple more sort of Easter eggs out there and it became quite clear I think towards the end of the week with the jacket live jacket apparently it’s going to be he’s going to play the courses every week isn’t he yes so his content’s going to be like with probably one of the go of each event yeah he’s mentioned 2 V2s as well um obviously we don’t know much more about that whether he’s going to be involved in them 2v tws or presenting them or or what and then he’s talking about 10 shot challenges as well which is mad though isn’t it it’s it’s a it’s a massive Payday for Rick Shield but it’s also a massive commitment as well having to travel on tour every week like around the world it’s I mean he’s not the SI he AR going to be paying buttons are they no so he’s going to I’m sure small price to pay like I learned this week though that he his company was is already 50% owned or by by Saudi saers yeah he already in bed with them so maybe it’s not as as big a shock as many as many do yeah probably not but um but yeah so he’s he’s made huge strides so when we we were talking whil him getting riled up and I’m sure that I’m sure he’s not anymore no he doesn’t care about distant memory I just uh long in the r we’ll start throwing Easter eggs out we’ve been uh we’ve gone into bed with um dlck Locos sling um and then there was other other big news on on YouTube from was yeah new Mitchell Brothers Mitchell Brothers new new Phil and Grant yeah the scene both balls Bal Deads you’re doing a bit of a Gino impression again that grand forat has announced he basically teamed up with Phil nichelson Step Brothers doing some sort of 2v2 content on YouTube unbelievable isn’t it yeah just put the first episode out yesterday with the Johnson Brothers AJ and DJ and uh that was I’ve just just watched that now that’s it’s different level content that now that the pros are getting involved AB it’s just perfect abely nail oh yes he’s he’s took the mantle I think I think Rick Shields needed to do something to be honest to keep up with him um you were saying before melson’s brain in the in the just just an insight into his brain when he’s miked up and he’s actually talking a bit more freely you don’t hear it in the pro events do you you don’t hear what to think all the conversations with the caddies and just to hear like the Absol every shot the way he analyzes the shot it’s not just a case of what me what’s me like and how far and wind which is kind of as far as I go really he’s like he’s the Grain and like all all sorts of different variables especially around the green and his p and stuff I guess that’s why such a master around the green with his Chi and that cuz he’s analyzing like like the Grain and he’s talking about the radius of his mad that it like it my I literally get up to ball and go probably about a 79 here that’s about it so you know maybe I should take some tips off melson there yeah yeah but it was it really interesting to watch and it was a good matching they had there was a good bit of um back and forth between Phil and Grant and the Johnson’s as well so that’s worth a watch if you haven’t yet yeah so that’s uh enough ofenders wa enough ofenders that’s talk golf like an episode of East senders don’t it yeah Phil Grant and the the Johnson Brothers still get out my Pub anyway finally yeah I mean we all love golf but it does our heads in as well yeah yeah what what would you say what’s your biggest irritation on golf course we got a something like you just need it needs um [ __ ] greens first of all I hate [ __ ] greens right I hate people on Golf Course yeah I wish they just leave me alone to play golf you know when they get up your ass and they fire warning balls [ __ ] hate that so you’re you’re guilty of the slow player are no I’ve play really fast but when people don’t give you the time you know when you get on the tea and you’re early anyway you tea off and then you get to the fairy and they’ve already had the ball it’s like come on give us you know stay behind stay 10 at least 10 minutes behind I know it’s not practical every time especially in summer but yeah and um yeah slow play yeah slow play costs lives don’t it slow play does cost lives because you got people behind Bing balls been guilty of as well you just you send out a little send out a little warning like [ __ ] get get your skates on I don’t do it cuz like I’m impatient I’ll do it when it’s become untenable yeah you know like you’ve been [ __ ] last six old you’ve been waiting five minutes on every shot just wears you down Do It um and that that’s just an amateur level as well we’re going to get to a point though where a and takey and um can’t L playing playing a two ball AR we IM that see what happens oh my God they got be setting records there like seven hour round hopefully they play car in one of them rifle range shots just just makes its way out of the out of the range um yeah it’s all about slow play like damage a game was five and a half hours this week for the final round of the farmers as well yeah terrible how like that’s just not conducive to people watching is it you don’t want to watch that you can’t what it’s the reason tgl is probably going to become a big thing because people want to see you dead quick people are in the nation is in pce not the nation the world is now impatient due to social media and streaming very fast now I remember when I was a kid the dialup internet used to be really really slow but you’d wait wouldn’t you you wouldn’t have any issues now you just want to see it there and then yeah so that’s the way the 100 in crickets going that’s the way golf seems to be going so a five and a half hour round no not for me yeah I guess it’s like in in America they’ve always had like you look at ice hockey and basketball the end to end sort of sports gen sort of generally there there’s always action on each play so the there’s that kind of culture maybe maybe spread I’m not blaming Americans for slow play but I’m just say saying that the there might be they that sort of culture is now coming come across into everyone where they want to just they want quick fire entertainment and and not be having to to wait like I’ll be happy to go on on Golf Course and watch live golf yeah when you but when you sat at home and it’s just filled with adverts because they’re taking that long you just you I saw a thread and I I can’t remember who who put it on there so I can’t quote them unfortunately but they anal I mean this is this is worse because they must have been pausing every while a lot they analyzed this weekend the coverage of the Farmers Insurance open to see how much golf was actually being shown and what type of shots were being shown and literally to the second they knew how many minutes was adver adverts how many minutes were Long play Shots how many minutes would they would they would get do away from the shot out there was so many so many adverts high percentage of adverts there’s not a lot of golf being shown you got to sit there for 5 and half hours and what did they watch a couple of hours of AD in yeah it’s no good that but what what do they have a job that person who’s done that it’s a heavy thing to do that yeah like so I guess someone someone had to do to make the point but like yeah you won’t get me doing that like not a chance watch the highlights on YouTube next day yeah um which is a shame cuz I grew up watching PJ tour yeah yeah and used to love it and I just don’t ever remember being bored no watching it and I just feel that’s that’s the case now I think the um DP world to do better with the coverage I there’s breaks but there’s nowhere near as many cuz what you what you do you do find on the DP World Tour um the UK coverage is if they’re showing a PJ Tour event yeah they have a lot of scenarios where they get they get the feed from America yeah so they have to cut to the adverts when America cut to the adverts but they don’t cut to adverts they’ll produce a bit of content or they’ll show something that’s happened a few minutes ago and keep it keep it rolling do you know what though just trying to edit a podcast is difficult imagine trying to do that live how how much effort goes into that gives you gives you an inside don’t it yeah um yes five five and a half hours professional rounds is uh it’s far too much and yeah if you’re on if you’re amate Golf Course or or just H up like with four hours should be enough with like a three ball shouldn’t it really yeah and talking about amateur golf just before we uh we head off there’s a there’s a tournament called the Caris trophy i’ ever read of it Caris yeah it’s the the biggest Junior tournament in the uh especially England Justin Rose Sandy previous win is actually coming to home Golf Club on the 23rd of July yeah so I’m thinking about going to awalk if if you’re interested watch yeah is the um is the the field up like who’s in it no it’s under 18 amateur stroke play so it’s uh some really good players there just it’s nice on your doorstep to to a bit of class gol from Juniors yeah I find the next Tomy F you never know interesting yeah you never know might take you up on that episode eight episode
