The Vintage Golf Club with Corey Lamb 2 Man Ambrose, Host venue of the 2025 Ford NSW Open
Hey guys, welcome down to the Vintage Golf Resort here in the Hunter Valley. And uh as you can see standing next to me, we got Cory Lamb. He’s joining us today. And uh we’re going to play a twoman Ambrose. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And uh see what happens. See how low we can go, see how high we can go. We’ll see what happens. But uh yeah, as as I said, the vintage home of this year’s New South Wales Open in November. So, uh, we’ll get out there in the fog that you can see behind us and, uh, we’ll get amongst it. See how we go. Yeah. It’s going to be pretty hard, but we’ll see. Yeah. Look at it. All right, let’s do it. [Music] [Music] [Applause] Heat up here. Heat up here. [Applause] All right. What do we got? It’s a par five. We’re hitting off the 10th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, what do you what So, my line’s like down the right, but hopefully I’ll just go a bit more straighter cuz I can’t see. Yeah. It’s pretty crazy. And then yeah, go from there. Beautiful. We’ll see it for about 50 meters and then that’ll be it. [Music] It’s up the right. Should be all right. Should be all right on the hill there. Yeah. Cannot see a thing. But anywhere up there bit left. Little bit left. But we’ll get down there. Yeah. All right. We got Cory’s. He’s just here. I was up on the left over the other side of the bunker, but we got a bit of a shot here, I think. Yeah. Um, might just hit nine on them. Lay up. Yeah, I think that’s the play. Definitely. I don’t think there’s too much else. No, not out of that. Just hit it down there and have like 110 in. Sounds good to me. Yeah, should be all right. That should be fine. I don’t even need to hit. All right, Cory’s laid us up perfect here. We got 102 front flag, I think. Uh, middle, I think. Middle, is it? It looks sort of front, though. Yeah. All right. See if we can get it close. Get left a bit. Tiny bit. Right. Looks pretty good though. Yeah, it should be all right. Should be fine. All right. What club have you got, Cory? I got 54. 54. Had a bit of a bit of wet rough. Bit of wet rough. I’ll try and keep the club dry. Yeah. Just so I can get a little bit of spin. Yep. Try and fly 105. Little bit of spin. Sounds good. Clean contact. Left. Little left, but it’ll catch a piece. Yeah. All right. Cory’s ball just about pin high. Little uphiller, a little left to right. Yeah. See if we can start with a birdie. Got to hit it. Not my best. First hole. Yeah, that’s true. Foggy. Can’t see. Any excuse? That’s it. All right. See if I can roll it in. Slow. Yeah, both of us did the same thing. Not as quick as putting green. Actually, probably yours is a bit more more straight. move it. No, it’s all right. Yeah, pine green was definitely quicker. Yeah, pulled it. Just wanted to put a little pressure on. I have faith. Oh, it went right. Knock her in. Hey, it’s foggy. We can’t see. What else? What can you do? Not a great start. No, we’ll be right. All right, number 11, par 4. Can’t remember how long it is, but I think 380. 380. There’s a center bunker. That won’t bother me. Just out into the fog. and we’ll go find it. Should be good. Should be good. Yeah. Yeah. I don’t know. It’s a bit hard to tell, isn’t it? It went straight. That’s the main thing. Can you fly that bunker, you reckon, or? No, I’ll just hit it short of it. Yeah, especially when it’s cold and foggy. Just down the left with a little fade and should be just short of it, especially with the fog. Yeah, probably won’t go very far. Yeah, it should be great. Should be good. It’s hard to tell when fogs I know. It’s crazy. I can just see it. What’s that? I can just see it sort of there. So, what you say about 140? Yeah, about 140. Pin sort of on the left. Lambie’s drive here. I was back over there near the bridge. Back flag, you said? Yep. Back flag. I got a little six iron for me. Looks good. Little left, but stay just right. Shouldn’t be too bad. Don’t know. Don’t know. Too hard to see. I know. All right, I’m just going to chip a little nine on. Sounds good. Need to make a birdie after a bogey. We do. See how we go. Looks good. Looks good. A little left. I lost it now, but I think it’ll be I think it’ll be good. Can’t tell. Yeah, I think it’ll be good. All right. Good shot by Lambie. He’s exactly what he said. Pitched here. Zipped it back. Just got it inside you. So, just I was just over here somewhere. But we need a birdie now. Yeah. So maybe inside, right? Yep. Shouldn’t do too much. No. Just don’t pull it like I did the last one. Got to hit it though. Went a little bit more. Yeah, it did move. I thought that’s the par though. Easy four. Easy four. Comfy four. Try and roll one in. Hey, there we go. There we go. Back on the board. Back to even. Good bird, mate. Thank you. All right, number 12, par three. T’s up the front. T’s normally back over there, but what do we got about 120 to the pin? Yep. Front pin. Front left pin. Massive green, but I got an 18. See if we can get another bird. Fat. Very fat. Should be just short. Yeah, somewhere there. Got a little nine iron. Really? I don’t really know how far it’s gone right now. No, with this fog. So, I just hit it. Nice. Sounds good. Should spin a little bit. Just left at it. Catch a piece. [Music] Don’t know. It’ll be all right. Very odd to see. All right. Line was well short, but safe. And Lambies is just here just off the fringe. Sort of up and over and downhill. Probably quick once it gets over that little rise arrow. Should be quick the last 10 ft. Hopefully a little bit of left to right down there. Roll down now. Good pot. Roll down. Very good pot. There we go. Nice. Come on down. Go. Come on. Yeah. Good putt. Go. Just didn’t hit it. Yeah, it was hard. H hard with that down slope just to Yeah, you didn’t want to bram it. Easy path. All right, we’re on 13 path four about 290. And you got a heap of bunkers up the right. and fairway on the left. So, I’m going to try and just hit it down the middle and then Lamb’s going to have a crack, I think. We’ll see. You can’t really see, but we’ll give it a go. You can’t see, but that’ll be bunker. Maybe maybe just caught it. Maybe it’ be all right, though. Yeah, I’ll have a go. Yeah, have a slash. See how we go. Should almost get this front edge if I hit it good. Yep. Just down the left. Little fade. That’ll be pretty close, I reckon. Yeah, it should be all right. Just left. Yeah, just a little F. Should be fine. Yeah. All right. Good drive by Lambie. We’re about 50 off the front. Mine was just over there. About 50 m back in front of the bunkers. But uh flag’s in the dead center. So, time to attack. Time to get it. Get after it. Pretty good. Go a bit. Great shot. Thanks, mate. Very good. Try and knock it inside that, eh? That’s the plan. I’d take that though. Absolutely. reckon we’ll get much spin out of the I don’t think so. I mean, you’re spun a little bit, so yeah, I might just try and chase one up a little bit. Yep. Oh, that’ll spin. Spin. No, just jumped a bit out of You could hear it. All good. Good shot. Pretty straight. Pretty straight. Should be. Yep. Good birdie. There we go. Up and down. Nice. That’s how we do it. Easy. Down to one under. All right. What do we play? 10, 11, 12, 13. So, we’re one under through four. That’s not bad. And we got uh number 14 five. It’s probably 450 odd maybe from here. So, good chance to attack. I’m just going to try and bump one up there somewhere. Perfect. Straight at the bunker cuz I can’t get there. Good swing. That should be fine. Yep, that’s good. Going over the corner. Yeah, just um just over this edge here. Perfect. Try and take it on a little bit. Yep. Get us down there. Should be perfect. That should be absolutely mint. Nice drive. Thank you. All right, Lambiey’s drive. We got What do we got in? 180. 180. Y 180. Mine was back down there in the middle, but that’s all right. It’s off a little bit of a down slope. Back pin. Back pin. We’ve come out low for me, I think. So, just try try and get it somewhere around there and give yourself a chance. Straight at the bunker, I think. Just right of the bunker. Yep. That’ll be right. Pretty good. Good layup. Yep. Sweet. And what do you got? 180. I got six on. Having a crack. Yep. Just going to try and straight at it. Yep. I’ll probably need to hit this pretty good to get it right back there. Yep. Just try and hit a good one and see what happens. Little bit thin. Go a little. Pretty much right at it. Yeah. Good shot. Shot on the front, didn’t it? Yep. It’s all right, though. That’s fine. Got a putted eagle. Puted eagle. That’s it. All right. All right. Good shot in, mate. Thank you. Straight uphill. Pretty straight. Might fall a little left at the end. That’s about it. Left. Yep. Pretty straight though. Probably have to give it a bit of a hit up. Give it a wrap up there. How good would it be to go in for eagle? Let’s do it right here. I did break a fair bit left, but pace is good. Yeah, good pace. T good part. Tough. You did that pretty hard. I did. I did give it a whack. Let me try and tap this in. So you can uh relax a bit if I actually make this one. There we go. In for birdie. There’s the birdie. I’ll give this a run, eh? Yep. I like it. Go. Oh, there it is. That’s how it’s done. Easy three. How good is that? Lambmy with the bomb. Rolled it in. Eagle, baby. How good? That’s the best. Three under. Just like that in the blink of an eye. Easy. Well done, mate. Thank you. All right, number 15. We’re three under. Three under. Thanks to that bomb you just held for eagle on the last, but we got 292 par 4. Bunker’s right. Water sort of goes around in front, but no issue for Lambmy. I need to nut it if I’m going to get over that. So, just left them bunkers and you should be sweet. That’s what I’m thinking. Yeah. And then you can have a lash. Yep. Right here. Right there. It shouldn’t get to him. So, that should be fine. That is It kicks left there as well. So, yep. Should be sweet. Yeah, it’s fine. Very good. What’s up? Straight at it. Yeah, just left of it. I like a little fade. So, yeah, there’s plenty of room left, too. E, the fog’s taking a fair bit off it. So, should be about 40 short. Yep. Should be an easy little chip up the green. Oh, a bit right. Just drifting maybe bunker. That’s that bunker. Yeah. Don’t know. Might be short of it today. Yeah, I hope so. We’ll see. All right. Lambiey’s drive. Just in the green side bunker here. Um, one was back in the fairway there. But just got to splash this out. Let it run down to the hole. I like it. Bit too far right, but it’s all right. It’s going to roll left. That’s the plan. Good shot. What’s up? Just didn’t come around to the left as much as we thought. Oh, yeah. It’s not bad. All right. Just at the camera. Yep. Land it just on and let it release down. If it comes out a little bit hot, it should spin. Nice spin now. Yep. Great shot. Should be good. That’s a kick in, mate. Perfect. Well done. Easy. Right. Knock her in. Don’t even need the putter. Good shot. Easy. Three. What’s that? Four under. Four under through seven. Seven. Six through six through six. Seven under through H four under through six. That’s pretty good considering we started with that bogey and then yeah on fire. Perfect. Good job, mate. All right, number 16. As you can see on the drone, you got bunkers right, little one on the left. So anywhere on the fairway is good. Yep. Good swing. Should be good. Right down the middle. Yep. Perfect. Take that. All right. Just down the left with a little fade again. Perfect. Don’t think I can carry that right bunker this morning. It feels that wind’s just coming up now into us a bit in it. So, I’ll just try and keep it left of it and Yep. Probably at that um cup that sign. Yeah. Yeah. I like it. Yeah. Perfect, mate. Little bit low on the face, but it’ll be all right. Dead center of the fairway. Take that. Good drive. Perfect. All right, good drive, Lambie. Thank you. I was back down there. Common theme of the day, but uh 149 the back left flag. Don’t want to miss left here. Tough little pin actually. Yeah. So, I’m just going to try and aim center green and see what happens. Sounds good. Little fat, but it’s all right. Go a tiny bit and it should be good. Yeah, just on the front. Yep. Middle of the green. That’s all right. Nice. All right. Chippy eight iron for Lammy. 150 little eight. Try and take it at it and hit one close. Yep. Oh, not the best today. No. Off the upate. Middle green. Yep. We got We got some pots. Got some pots. Yeah. Similar to that eagle putt, isn’t it? Yeah, it is. Probably go more left at the right at the end. Yep. Be pretty straight the first half. I about half a meter outside right and just let it turn. I like it. Probably similar pace to the other one, too. It should be. Yeah. [Music] Pulled it a little, I think. But tiny pull. Tiny pull. Wow. Actually went right at the end. There you go. Yeah. Pretty good part. Yep. It’s probably It’s a good meter and a half still. Yeah. I don’t know what to do now. Just go straight. It’s a weird one. Yeah. Just give it a run and see what happens. Much better pace. Go. Brake’s right. It’s in. Oh. Oh. Good putt, mate. Thank you. Easy four. Easy four. Comfy four. Bang. Done. Perfect. Good putt. Thank you. You, too. Was very slow. I hit that so hard. You smashed it. I think if you went right of it, it might have went left. But I think if you go left, it goes right. You can just see that little hump on the left of it, can’t you? All right, number 17. What are we? Four under still, aren’t we? Four under. Y after that par 138 down the hill. Little seven iron for me. Straight at it. Perfect. Fat. Te’s a little bit wet. It is good bounce. Yeah, that’s all right. I was thinking hole in one, but I’ll leave that up to you. Sounds good. Te’s a bit wet. They just sprinkles have been smashed on here. But so what you say little nine iron? Little nine iron. Can probably attack this. There’s a bit of a back stop behind it. Definitely. Just try and catch the ball cleanly. Little breeze actually into Yeah, you can feel that now. Might have to hit this a bit. Give it a bit more. Just pulled just left of it. Should be pin eye. Perfect. Yep. Got a chance. Good ball. Probably have to give it a bit of a run. So maybe just left edge, I reckon. Yep. Might go a tiny bit more if anything. Didn’t hit it. Good part though. That was a line though. On line. I’ll give you that. Thanks, mate. All right, let’s roll it in. It won’t matter when you hold it. So, let’s hope so. Go. Nothing. Just stay there, didn’t it? Yours went a little bit. It did. Easy path. Yep. Easy path. Easy three. 330 this one. Nice. Par four under the 18th. So TE’s are normally probably 50 m or so back. Yeah, usually. But got them up the front today. Straight at the big tree, I think. Sounds great. Little fade. Perfect. That is fine. Yep. Nice. You’ll probably do similar. Yeah. Yeah. Just a t hopefully a little left for that. But yeah, that’s fine, too. Further up. All right. Just got threewood. Yep. Just going to go that big tree with a little fade. Not trying for too much here. Just get on the fairway. Yep. Oh, bit right kick out. Yeah, dropped down. Just clipped the gummy. Tried to hit it too soft, I think. All right, we got 103 left in. Funny enough, my drive for the first time, I think. Smoked it. Very good. Here, Lamb. He’s just clipped the tree unluckily, but 103 uphill. I got a little nine. Just Good chance for a birdie here. Yeah, just make sure I’ll get on the green. Little bit right of it. There was a slope there. That’ll bring it back to the hole as well. Sounds good to me. Good looking shot. Sit. Sit. Yeah. Yeah. It’s on the green. Probably 20 ft just past it. Yep. All right. We got a little gap wedge. Try and take the spin off a little bit. Can sometimes spin it a bit too hard. Just right of it at that white peg. Perfect. See if we can get it close. Looks good. Get the slope. Yeah. Bouncing left. Yeah. Look at the spin now. Oh, short. Oh, no. Wow. Too much spin. Too much. Too much spin. Try to take it off it too. Right here. A little left to right. Yep. Slightly uphill. Yep. Straight in. Dead straight. Maybe a tiny bit firm if anything. Pretty good putt though. It was firm. I’ll clean it up. I think they’re just a bit furry. Not really breaking. True. All right, Scotty set me up for a birdie. Two good shots. Straight in. Oh, took a bounce. Took a bounce. It’s all good. Four under through nine. Yep. Nothing wrong with that. Get after it on the back. Yeah, absolutely. All right, here we are at the vintage just here with uh Cory Lamb. Mate, uh tell me about your year last year on the PGA of Australia. I think ninth in order of merit. Ninth in the order of merit. Yeah. And come close quite a few times. Tied second at the New South Wales Open. Yeah. Wanga I think tied second as well, wasn’t it? Y. How was your year overall, do you think? Yeah. Went through Q school at the start which is always a bit tough and then sort of got on a bit of a run and sort of I knew it was coming. it was just when it was going to come sort of thing. Um, and yeah, it’s been good to play good. New South Wales Open was a highlight. Um, and yeah, got a few opportunities overseas at the end of this year. So, fantastic. We’ll go from there. Sounds good. And how was the New South Wales Open playing in the final group with Cam on that last day and how was that experience? Yeah, it still gives me goosebumps thinking about it now. It’s um definitely an life-changing experience for me, especially to play with one of my idols that I grew up watching. Um yeah, it was just a great day and hopefully more to come. Fantastic. Yeah, bring it on. And speaking of the New South Wales Open, obviously we’re here at the Vintage today. Um so November this year, we’ve got the New South Wales Open being held here. You’re a local boy from Brston. How does it feel to have a a local tournament of the prestige of the New South Wales Open coming to your hometown? Yeah, there’s a little bit of pressure obviously because I’m local, but I mean I played here enough that I know know everything. So, um, we’ll just prepare as usual and see what happens. Yeah, just another tournament really, isn’t it? Yeah, just just go through the motion. Just a little bit more high expectations, I think. Yeah, I guess you’ll have, uh, you’ll have lots of family and friends out watching, which can add a bit of pressure or it can can make you feel a lot better, too, but the support. So, looking forward to that. It should be uh should be a great tournament. New South Wales Open um sponsored by Ford and uh yeah, let’s go uh make some more verdict. Let’s do it. Yeah, let’s go. Sounds good. Straight at the buggy down there. Yeah, I like that. All right, first hole cuz we teed off the 10th. Um 298. Plenty of room, right? There’s a little creek that runs in front of the green, but it’s not going to bother me. More position hole this one. Just get it in play and then that’s it. Wedge it on. Yeah. Straight at the green keeper’s cut. Oh, turn him over a little bit. Might be all right. Yeah, drop down. Just pulled him. Four iron. Four iron. Just um just right of the cart with a little draw. Easy. Leave me about 100 in. Try and make a birdie. Yep. Good shot. Go a little bit. Yeah, it’s fine. Should be all right. 106 back pin. Yeah, back left. Tricky little pin actually is up on that ridge. Yeah, we really got to get it up there, don’t you? Lamb is drive here with his forearm. Perfect. You can sort of play it into the hill and it should bounce up or fly it all the way back there. Okay. I’ve got a wedge. I got to get all of it. That’s good. I like it. Yeah. Oh, so good. Flashed it. Great shot. Thanks, mate. That’ll do. How good’s that? Didn’t fat that one. No. You’re back. I’m back. You’ve put the pressure on me again. If you’re a close, I’m sure you’ll get inside. What do you got? I got 54. Yep. I’ll just hit a pretty full one straight at it. Hopefully land it about yours and spin it back. Sweet. Oh, little left. Just trying to fade back. Short. Just short. Yours again. One again. Maybe just inside. Right. Yep. Go. Oh, how can you dead center? How can you not hit that? Right. All yours. Did look a little bit quicker than what it was. Yeah. All yours. Another good second shot. Let’s try and make one. Just went left. Easy path. I’ll try and just cut one up there. Yeah, if you go at that crow, I think it is like finish it there. There’s a bit fur bit more room. All right, we can try that. Probably don’t go much right of that though. No, hole number two. See on the drone, it sort of cuts pretty hard round to the right. Bit of a position hole off the tea. It is. [Music] Perfect. Should be good. That is good. Great shot. Perfect cut. Nice. Four on again. Four on. These last these next few are sort of just placement holes. Yep. They’re just little slider left to right. Yep. Take it the same similar line to yours. Yeah. Perfect. Perfect. All right, both in the fairway. Got 102 left. Similar shot to last. Got pitch and wedge again. Perfect. Need to hit all of it. There’s a bit of a force front there, eh? There is. Yeah. Just pulled it, but it’s fine. It’s a putt. It’s a dirty putt. Good shot. All right. Just left with it. Yep. 54. Yep. Try and land it probably 3 m past and it should spin back. Easy. Let’s hit one close. We’re due. Sounded pure. Little left again. Yeah, good bounce to the right. Stay there. Yeah, good shot. Spinning a fair bit. It is uphill putt. All right. Pretty straight. Good shot of Lambies. Just landed up there, spun back. Mine was up on the left, but we’re pretty straight uphill, you say? Yeah. Yeah. Should maybe fall to the left if anything? Yep. Well, we’re due. I reckon one of us will hold this. We’re due. Yeah. It’s been a while. It has. Bounced around a bit and it was a bit slow. Was bouncy. Knock that in. I thought I hit that plenty hard enough, too. Yeah. Easy. Four. Easy for roll one in. Stay up. It’s not hard enough. Yes, it’s very slow up there. Very slow. Got the four though. Yep. Right. Number three. Par four. up over the hill down around to the right and back up to the green. Couple of bunkers on the right. One on the left I can’t get to. So we’ll hit driver straight at that. I think like it. Perfect. Perfect. Absolutely spot on. Great. Yep. Over the hill. Don’t even need a hit. That’s perfect. Hey, can’t do much more than that. True. What do you got there? Little rescue. Little hybrid. I caved my three on in. So, I’m waiting for a new one to come. Wow. So, this is it for a little bit. Too much power. Too much power. Same shot as you hopefully. Yep. At that left bunker with a tiny fade. Sweet. Yeah, mate. That’s pure. Take that. Magic. Perfect. All right. 135 on it. Front pin. This my drive just triggered down here. Lamb is just on the hill back there. Front pin slightly uphill. 79. Need to hit all of it. Just aim a little bit right here cuz I’ve been pulling them. Fat little chunk. Ah, you mate. It’s all right. I needed some pressure. Nine. Hit a nice one straight at it. Land a few meters past and spin it back in the hole. Straight at it. Oh. Oh, get up. Just a little bit thin. It’s all right. Just short. It’s fine. Right. just come up a bit short and spun back. But this is pretty simple really. Yeah. Just straight up on the green. Do it. Get left. Do it. Get left. Easy four. I was trying to hold it. Yeah. Chip it in, mate. Oh no. Lambmy chip in. Good pot from Scotty there. Get in. Get in. Oh, so good. Good chip. Just close. Easy part. Hole four about 340 odd up over the hill and around to the left. There’s a little creek I think in front of the green. Yeah, in front of the green. Yeah. Y just up the right the spot. Yep. Mostly. So, if I can hit one up the right with a little bit of a draw. I like it. Ah, bit bottomy. Bounce left. Yep. That’ll be all right. Sweet. That’s in the fairway. I might as well have a crack. Yeah, absolutely. Try and get it over the corner. Yep. Driver’s probably not the play, but why not take it on? We’re in the fairway. It’s Ambrose. It’s YouTube. That’s it. Straight over the big tree there on the left. Perfect. I reckon that is spot on. So good. It’ll come down soon. There it is. 7B. Perfect shot, mate. Thank you. All right. Hell of a drive by Lambie. We would have got 60 64. We got a middle flag. There’s not much room behind that, is there? No, it’s pretty sneaky. Sort of pin up that left side. There’s sort of probably 10 m of green up there. Yep. So, you sort of got to try and spin one up there. Right. Yeah. But you can get if you hit a good one, you can get it really close. So, try and do something. carry a little bit. Yep. Yeah. Good shot. It’s a little safe, but Yep. It’s perfect though. It’ll do. Yeah, that looks pin high. Yeah. 60. 60. Yeah. Just try and hit it a bit higher off this down slope. [Music] Nice spin now. Yeah, great shot. Oh, spun a lot. Spun a a little bit right, but it’s fine. Although it’s pretty straight. I shouldn’t do much, but it will fall right at the start. Okay. Yeah, just through here. Yeah, but then it should go left at the end as well. Bit of a double breaker. Just don’t leave it short. We need one. Yeah, we need one. So, right at the start, then back to the left slightly. Yes, there we go. Birdie. Nice. Don’t have to part. That’s always good. Five under. Well done. Needed that, guys, mate. Good drive. Thank you. We’re back. We’re back. We are back. Hole number five. Got a little par three playing 110. Yep. Very front flag with a slope back slope behind it. So non for me. Try and land it past and spin it back down. Perfect. Ah, thin. Just didn’t catch it. Trying to go too hard. It’s all right. Due to hit one close. I have 100% faith that you will. Straight at it. 54. No. Gap wedge. 50. Just don’t want it to spin too much. Yep. Throw it at it. Get in the hole. Be good. Get in the hole. Go in. Go in. Whoa. Oh no. Did Did rip back. Yeah. Just spun off. I reckon that would have been up around the front of the cup and then it’s just spine. That’s right. Good little spot. Easy chip, right? Put this closer in and then you can chip in. Sounds good. Not a bad leaf. No, it’s fine. Straight up the hill again. Travel just travel just line too. Yep. Good putt. Tap. All right. Chip in time. Chip in time. was a good run. That bounced hard. It did. Hole number six is about 400 or I think from here it is. Yeah. Decent length hole this time. Sort of downhill dog leg left to right. I’m going to hit driver straight at the bunker. Perfect. Little bit of a fade. And pulled it. Tiny pull. Yep. Yep. That’s fine. Bounced. It’ll be all right. Got the big dog. Big dog. Yeah. Got to hit driver here. Yeah. Um similar to you out that bunker. Just try and fade it off it. Easy. It’ll be fine. Just a little left. Sit. Oh, path. Oh, hit path. We could hear it. That is gone. Oh, right. Kind of got lucky. I think I clipped that and fell down here. Lamb’s hit the path unfortunately. But still got 176. Yep. I got a four iron. If it lands short, it should run on. Should do bit towy little rot. Yeah. Not my best. It’s fine. It’s fine. Straight at it. Six on. Sweet. Probably don’t need to hit it too hard, but just nice. It’s right at it. Just drifting a tad right, but it should be good. Yep. Yep. Putting middle right. Drifted a little right. It’s all right. All right. Just going to go right a fair bit at the start. Okay. And then should just keep going right like it right in the hole. Let’s do it. Go. Not bad. Right line, I think. But it’s just the story of the day. A bit slow. Yeah. Just not getting him there. Come on. Good putt. Take that. Easy par. Good job. We’ll attack this one then. Yeah. Hole seven, par five up over the hill. Got the vineyards on the left. Yep. Widest fairway on the course. I’m pretty sure it is. Yes. Right. Anywhere up there. Straight in between them two signs is the line. That’s pretty much it, isn’t it? shot. Very good. It’s up. All yours. Going to try and hit this one a bit harder. Yeah, go for it, mate. Get it up and over. Get it down the hill a bit. This hole is always fun when you can open your shoulders up, for sure. Yeah. Shot. Tiny bit left. Should kick right though. Yep. Yeah. Should be sweet. No trouble. All right. Cracking drive by Lambie. We got 192 left in. How far is the hole? Do you know? 470 maybe. I don’t know. So you pump that. Maybe not that far. Maybe. Yeah, around that though. 192. I don’t think I can get there. So I’m just going to roll it down the hill. Tell you what, struck it well. Struck it really good. Do it. No. Yep. That’s fine though. It’s fine. Definitely gives me a chance to have a crack at it now. Absolutely. Front pin should bleed a bit right off that lie. Yep. Left edge. If I hit it straight, it will kick right. Four iron. Four iron. Yeah. Just a nice one. Come on. Off the hill. No. Get a bounce. It’s just too far left. It’s all right. Plugged up and down for bird. Bump it into the fringe or Yeah, we could do that actually. I don’t know. I’ll try and just land it on, I think. Yep. I like it. Pretty good. Yeah. Tough little shot. A little firm, honestly. Yep. So, you got 60 obviously. 60. Yeah. Just trying to open it up. It’s tough shot. You got to land it absolutely perfect. Just try and land in that dewy part. Yep. Perfect shot going. Oh, wow. Didn’t that have some spit on it? It was close. Shot, mate. Should be able to tap that in hopefully. Yep. You knock it in, mate. Yep. Yep. Good birdie. Six number. Six. Two to go. Good job, mate. Thank you. Right. Eighth hole. 149 to a back right flag. What are we? Six under. Six under. Six under. So, we could do with one or two more. I reckon we could six straight at it. Perfect. I haven’t seen it straight at it. Is it? Yeah. Tiny bit short. It’s a bit short, but I think it got on. Yep. It’s on. That sun. Yeah. Went from the fog to the sun. Clear as a day now. I think it’s all right. Yeah, you see it pitch just on. So, all right. Eight iron. Yeah. Little bit of breeze there. So, I’m just going to hit it. Nice little knock down just left of it. Yeah, good shot. Yep. Middle green. Take that. No dramas. This has always been a weird part, this one. Yeah. I always think it’s going to go right, but it never does. Okay. I reckon it’s pretty straight. Maybe a ball or two. Yeah, if that. So, yeah. Middle green. Lambiey’s ball. Mine was back there somewhere. Was on. Was fine. But we’re six. Six. Six. Be nice to jag this one. So, knock this in for a seven under. Haven’t hit it. Pretty straight. Kind of even. I don’t know if I pulled it or it kind of went left a little, but good roll though. Yeah. Easy. Three. Easy. Let’s roll it in. Yep. Going. It’s just slow. It’s coming. I think it was dead center. Yep. Anyway, easy par. Easy three. One to go. One to go. Right. Last hole on the ninth. And not sure how far it is from you, but about 340, I reckon. 340. Yeah. Good angle. I’ve not hit off this T- box before out here, but you can see bunkers up the right, tree on the left. Um maybe straight at the tree with a fade. Yep. I like that. Yeah. Finish with a birdie, eh? Yeah. We’re six under. Try and get to seven. Yeah, which is pretty good going, I reckon. It’s been good. Pushed it. It’ll be all right, I reckon. That’s fine. Yeah, there’s a gap there. Yep. Fairway. It’s fine. Nice. You can launch now. Yep. Same sort of deal at the tree with a fade. Maybe just inside the tree. I’m going to go a bit straighter at that green side bunker up there. Yep. And just hit it dead straight hopefully. Beautiful. Yep. Oh, get left. Missed that. Yeah, it’s good on the downs slope now, I think. Oh, bunker. Did it get in? Did it just? Yeah. Bugger. Oh, all good. We’ll take it. 160 to the very front. Yeah. Got my drive. Lamb is unfortunately just in the bunker. Uh, really got to get it all the way there, don’t you? Yep. So, rescue for me. Just left it. It’ll kick right. Yep. I like that. Pretty getable pin actually. Looks good. Kick up. Run a bit. Go. Front edge. Front edge. Pretty good. Yep. No complaints. All right. What have we got here? I got seven on. Yep. Just a nice full one just left of it and it should bounce right. Hopefully get it close. Good one to finish. Yep. Yeah, that’s pure. Doing exactly what you said. That’s got to be close, right? Should be very close. Great shot, mate. Thank you. Well done. Great shot in by Lambie. Thank you. We got I don’t know 2 m. Yep. And it’s going to just dive pretty hard, I reckon. So, it’s all about probably pace. Yeah. Just a good pace outside. Let it fall in the left side. Finish with birdie. Get to seven. Let’s do it. Hey, bang. There you go. Firm and straight in. Seven under. Seven under. Beautiful, mate. Thank you very much. Thank you. Thanks for having me. Appreciate it. Seven under. That’s it. All right, guys. Well, there it is. The vintage golf resort here in the Hunter Valley with Cory Lamb, Aussie PGA Professional. Uh, seven under. We finished. Seven under. Pretty good. I thought we went all right. I think first six holes you couldn’t see. So, yeah. All the fog the fog was out as you seen. I think we bogeied the 10th and then, you know, boied the next, which was good. Knock that big eagle putt in. Happy days. Got it going. So yeah, Vintage Golf Resort, home of this year’s Ford New South Wales Open. And thanks very much for Cory Lamb for coming out and having hit with us and going on YouTube. And uh what’s what’s over the next couple of months for you, Cory? Uh maybe just a few proms in Queensland. Not too much going on for me. A little bit of a break. So the season and just take it easy now. Few swing things to fix up and then yeah, we’ll get going next season. Beautiful. Sounds good. Thanks for having me. All right, guys. No, pleasure. Thanks for watching and we’ll catch you next time. Cheers. Do it again [Music] soon. [Applause] [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat up here. [Applause] Heat. Heat. [Applause] [Music]

Hope you enjoy this video! 🙂
My heart is already pounding and I'm excited ~~!
The Vintage is a great course. My favourite in the Hunter
WOW ~~~!
It really gorgeous round and so impressive~~~!
Thousands of thanks for enjoying it .
Keep up the great videos Scott, checking out your Stonecutters post as playing there next week. Did the same at Riverside Oaks two weeks after watching your video and mate had the best round there ever. — The 1st at The Vintage has always been a tricky one especially if you have a gallery of mates behind you and you had a heavy one the night before. – lol Cheers 👍
Great round boys, looking forward to seeing Corey at home in the nsw open
That putt on 14 from Lamby. Sensational. The local fella has some serious talent.
Solid work again Scotty, love the change up.
Hi Scott, this was brilliant mate. Your camera work is first class, great viewing also, you hit em well… hopefully Lamby has a big year. 👏🏻
