Of course, both sides meet again on the 24th of May for that Scottish Cup final. Could today’s game provide as a bit of a dress rehearsal for that game. Of course, both managers denied that tonight would have any impact on that final, but I do just feel a result for Aberdine will do them the world of good mentally going into that game. And a big defeat for the Dons could just kill off any hope altogether. Of course, Aberdeene have faced a few questions over their mentality after the fallout of that 4-nil defeat away at Ibro last weekend after the first goal went in. The Dons just completely capitulated and if Alberine are to have any hope of finishing third this season, they need a result tonight and they also need Hibs to drop points in their remaining two league games. As for Celtic, today’s game is a bit dead. Robert, you can tell by the rotated team. It’s a very rotated team from Brendan Rogers going into tonight’s game. However, it was dead rubber against Hibs last weekend and Celtics still came down came back from one goal behind sorry to win that game 3-1. Brendan Rogers will be wanting to lay down a marker against Aberdine going into that Scottish Cup final. I’ll be at Ptoy all evening to keep you right up to date with tonight’s game.
