I’m getting my golf bag out the truck. I’m getting my golf shoes and we are getting this remote golf league started for me at Baleme Country Club. It’s overcast, but it’s a nice 65 degrees and it’s time to get going. All right, everybody. What’s up? How’s it going? We’re about to do our first remote golf league round here at Belme from the Blues about 64 6,400 yards. Um, let’s get it going. All right. Not my best first shot. I uh hit it left and uh it kicked out, hit a tree, and left myself about 200 yards to the pin with a tree right in my way. All right, pretty happy with that shot considering I just had to keep it low. Probably got about 35 yards to the flag. There you go. Up and down for par. What a little drippy drop seed. Johnny Apple Seed. Great little chip. This is probably two feet to save par after a really bad T- shot. We’re going to get this read. Make this putt. Safe parski parmesan. Let’s get it. Hole two. I got lucky on hole one that my ball came out where it did to give me a sh to give me a chance for par. But this one’s kind of tight. Um there’s a bunker up there. We’re going to hit the highwood. All right. Not a bad little shot. All right, the shot wasn’t horrible, but I’m right here on the edge of the heather with another tree to worry about. So, I’m going to try to choke down and keep this one low as well. Dude, just missed it. Rolling off the left side of the green. Have another up and down for par chance. All right, we’re right here off the side of the green. Flags kind of on the side. We’re shortsided, but it’s not the worst. We’re going to have to take it up there on that hill cuz it is on a down slope. Another up and down for par needed. Stop. Oh, bad roll out, dude. Bad. We had to go way up there. I had just said I needed to take it higher and I did not take it as high as I needed to go. Tough. Tough. This is a easy up and down I could have made. Now probably got about 10 ft 13 ft. Oh, buddy. Sinker. That boy putting. All right, let’s get the driver working. That’ll play, boys. That will play. Good shot, dude. Good shot. Right up the left side. All right. Everything’s going to the left a little bit, but we’re still here. We’re still We still got a shot. We just have the tree in the way, so that’s kind of annoying, but I think I can go I think I can go over it. So, I’m not really worried about it. There is just water in front of the green. Um, and it’s about a 145 shot. So, uh, let’s get it up there. Let’s make sure we stay right, though. Come around. Draw, baby. Catch a piece. Catch a piece. We’re either right on the edge or right on the fringe. Couldn’t tell. Great distance there, but just rode off the side. Another chance here. Got to go up and down for par. Got to save it. Another short-sided green shot. Sit, sit, sit, sit, sit, sit. Oh my gosh. It’s going to be like seven feet. All right, just another shot that rolled out a little too far. Probably got seven, eight feet right here for par. Oh my gosh. Great speed. Bad line. All right, big par five here. Water on the left, tree right in the middle of the shot. I’m just going to aim for it right in the middle of the fairway. And of course, I fade one, but it’s going to be fine. Just off to the right. Don’t really like playing from over there, but we’ll have a shot. We’ll have a shot to get to the green. All right, not too bad of a position before I get up there. Green is right there. And uh I was right here off to the right of the fairway. And there’s a bad shot. Run up there. Just a cold hard top. All right, we got about 155 yards and it’s a sucker pin back left. And I know that it rolls off back there. So I’m actually going to try to keep this one short um because chipping off the back of that green sucks. Guess what? I’m off the back of the green. Just what I didn’t want to do. Got to go up and down for par. All right. I don’t know what happened here. I must have caught a flyer because I just hit a 145 club about 170. There was probably some roll out, but still pretty far. There’s about three yards of green to work with. Go. Stay. All right, boys. Tough hole. Tough hole. All right. No excuse right here. This one has got to be close. Oh my gosh. Almost sunk it. That would have been huge for the program. All right. Quite the bogey save. Bogey on a par five. You just cannot have that, dude. All right, about 165 yards on this par three. Let’s get off the buggy train. All right, not too bad, but we did miss the green to the left. All right, walking over here to my ball once again. pinh high just off the green. I didn’t catch that one clean or good at all. So, kind of deserve this. But another up and down for par. All right, we can work with that one, boys. We can work with that. What a par. Parmesan extra chedda. Let’s get it back on the par train. All right. Just a bad bad bad shot. That’s a good out. Great out. Great out. run up there. Really bad drive. Had a little opening in the trees. Hit a great highwood out and have about 59 yards to a front flag. So, there’s a little back stop back there. So, I can play with that a little bit. I practice I practice this. I practice this shot at least two times a week for about 30 minutes. All right. Good little shot. Good little nipnip. Oh my gosh, dude. Boogie boogie train. All right, last par five on the front nine. It’s not pretty, but it’ll do. 250 to the green. Just not a lot of distance off that T- shot. I did not catch it clean. I didn’t catch that one clean either. All right, you just saw me frantically looking. I’ve lost the weight. I don’t know when it came out. Um, this is literally one of my favorite clubs. So, that really sucks. Yes, sir. We got us a little tweet tweet look. Little Big Bird look. Little Jerry Judy look. Just a misread. Parmesan. I was going to hit highwood and then I remembered the weight situation. So, feel like I’m better off swinging the driver here. Four. Jesus, dude. What a horrible shot. It just doesn’t have any pop in it without that weight. About 165 to the pin. Really just need to Limit the bleeding and just get out of here with bogey at the worst. Run out there. All right, I think we’re on the green. 101 cart for the 101 irons for a 101 shot. You can’t even see it. Hold up. Yes, sir. Right on the back of the green. can save par after just an atrociously start to this hole. I’m just visualizing the line right now. It’s got a little swing to it. Just another misread. But I said bogey at the worst and we got a bogey. So, considering how I started that hole, I’m going to take that. All right. This is my least favorite hole on the whole course. A 210 yard par three to end the front nine. I am four over right here. So, I really just want to finish strong. I’m going to hit four iron. Um, hope for the best. Just a little stinger just top groove or little bottom groove action. Should have ran right up to the left side front of the green. All right, going to try to do this angle. Got to go to the other side of the green. I’m right here on the front. You should be able to see my head, I think. But I wanted you to see how close we got to the hole on this shot. Let’s try to get a little bit nippy to end the round. Not the most cheese nip of a shot, but we’ll take it. Let’s end this strong. Good little front nine. Good first round for the league, for the channel. Let’s get a good read on this putt. That is a heartbreaking par to lose. But that’s five over on the front. We’ll take it. It wasn’t the prettiest five over. A lot of scrambling, a lot of good chip shots, but overall, I’m uh I’m proud with that nine. So, we’ll take that five over. We’ll log that into the round and we’ll see where we fall on the end of this first bi-weekly round uh with the rest of the game.
