Jack Bushman and Ross Baran are joined by Tweeth Mitchell ahead of this year’s PGA Championship at Quail Hollow!
[Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] What’s going on everyone? Welcome back to another episode of Golf on Tap. I’m Jack Bushman here as always with my co-host Ross Baron. We got Tweeath Mitchell joining us back on the show here today, which usually means something important is going down. That’s the case this week with the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Tweet. Know it’s been a little bit since you’ve joined us on the show. Hope life has been tweeting you well, brother. How are we feeling ahead of the PGA Championship? What’s up, boys? I’m feeling great, man. It’s great to see you guys. Great to see you as well, my friend. Ross, I know you had yourself a little bit of a hectic and stressful travel weekend, but seems like everything went good. What are what are the vibes like before the PGA Championship this week, brother? Had a nice little weekend away with the with the family. got to catch up with everyone and good to be back and hopefully make some money this weekend because it keeps getting stolen from me. Would love to make some money this weekend PGA Championship. We’ll talk about some of our early picks here in just a moment. But before we do, definitely want to give a shout out first to my boy Seb Straa for winning the truest championship this past weekend, his second PGA Tour victory of the year. I’ve been fortunate enough to have a ticket on him for both of those wins. So, huge shout out to my big diet coke drink in Austrian for giving me a little more pocket money as I’ll actually be in Scottsdale this weekend for uh good buddies bachelor party. But definitely want to get your guys thoughts on Se kind of rising now. He’s now officially in the top 10 of the official world golf ranking. However you want to wait that. But it does feel like Se has been on this kind of rise to the top tier of player on the PGA Tour, right? He was part of the last RDER Cup. Now he’s got four wins under his belt. Twee want to get your thoughts on Sebstraka and also your thoughts on Philadelphia Qriket Club which played out rather nicely after uh a little bit of a scary start there on Thursday where we had like four or five guys five under through seven. Yeah. And Keith Mitchell nine under through 18. Uh listen, Sebstro is a a proper golfer. Like I mean this win definitely puts him in a different class of player. I don’t think we should it should be lost on any of us that he went on a 7100 yard course, right? He has a limitation. That limitation is kind of ball speed, but he’s a very accurate driver of the golf ball. And if he’s putting well, he’s going to be in the mix basically anywhere. Um I think he’s the type of player that could win a players someday, right? He’s got all the shots. He’s accurate enough to stay out of trouble. He doesn’t do stupid dumb [ __ ] and shortside himself all the time. And I think there’s a lot to be said for that kind of player. Um, so yeah, like I I mean kudos to Seth. Um, I was on Lowry, so you know, whatever. That is what it is. I was also on Harry Higs, so you know, like it’s just more tweet second place [ __ ] Uh, but listen, I got nothing against Shakra. I think he’s a he seems like a nice guy. I like it when Husky guys win. He’s a unit. Like, what can you say about Seth? He seems like a great dude. Yeah, absolutely. Uh, one for the big guys is a win for the brand, 100%. Ross, I know you were busy at a wedding this past weekend, so I’m not sure exactly how much of the truest championship you got to see, but just give me kind of your thoughts on Sepraa and what what this win kind of means for him. I’m just saying if I’m a caddy, I’m calling everybody and being like, I’ll carry your bag for a week. Just seems to be a theme. Just again, just no, I’ll do it for a week. No, trust me. Just one week. That’s all we need. I I got this. Just time for just big just big time for the for the free agent caddies out there to just jump on a bag for a week again and come through again. Um but over overall, this is another one of those things with Sept is just has been coming on strong. Um, I kind of have it circled that if he keeps playing like this the way he’s played this year going to going to be trouble at Beth Paige for at for everybody in general just just playing this well. I don’t think in a head-to-head match. I don’t think you are comfortable if you draw se I I think you’re going to sit there and go I need to bring my agame. Um, and I think that’s really the big story that leads into this summer is can he stay on this role because if he does keep playing this type of golf and having these shots in his bag, I think it’s trouble for whoever draws the opposite end at Beth Page for this. And Tweet, you you brought up uh kind of the limitations that Sea does have, right? Not being a long driver of the golf ball. Philadelphia Qriket Club this past week just over 7,100 yards. That was actually a reason I outlined in my article why I thought this was a really good course for him because he wasn’t going to get crushed by the Bombers. Not being the longest guy in the world wasn’t really going to hurt him, I thought, as much on the course. And we saw his iron and putting upside obviously come through on the week. Uh I I agree. I think Beth Paige obviously having one previous Rder Cup of experience under his belt is going to bode well for how he’s going to play there. I also think he’s finished runner up at the open championship in the past. Like I think an open championship venue is probably where he’s best suited major championship wise just because as we’ll get into with Quail Hollow this week and how they like to run US Opens, the Masters is still a pretty gosh darn long golf course in its own right. But I do think Seb Straa at the Open Championship is maybe something to keep an eye out for later on this year. But uh definitely as well wanted to get your guys’ thoughts on Philadelphia Cricket Club. not just Sept Straka uh because I I thought it wound up playing excellent over the course of the weekend. We finally got to see the firm conditions and got to see the track play out kind of how it was intended to. Um and I really do enjoy getting a style of golf course like this for these signature events because it produces uh different style of leaderboards and I really enjoyed this golf course more than I thought I was going to. And I also thought uh Ross, I wanted to get your thoughts on this as well. Obviously, this isn’t a rotating event, but being a signature event that was moved to a new golf course in a new city, Ross, one thing we’ve really preached for on this show is having signature events in different venues, different parts of the country to kind of elevate some of those different courses. uh just give me your thoughts on Philadelphia Cricket Club and also just the idea of you know signature events moving around I think creates uh different different um kinds of conversations that that we like to have. No, I think uh Philadelphia Qriket Club hit it right on the head. Um I think they checked off a huge market in the Northeast. I think I think I think in general even with the shitty weather that they had for the first couple days, the turnout was still good for the tournament. people were there because the PGA is playing in a big market in the Northeast which again brings us back to there’s no Chicago on the schedule anything like that like why are we miss why are we missing these like these are markets that I think it doesn’t h you know Philadelphia Qriket Club doesn’t have to be on the schedule every single year but you can find another incredible course in that general vicinity in that area and have it suffice every year that oh yeah we are coming through the the Philly area we are coming through the Chicago area that I think that they moving forward that it is something that needs to be addressed that you’re making sure you are hitting those markets every single year where we’re going on year two in a row now of like no Chicago no big Midwest swing top market like that that would really draw a crowd yeah and definitely like the Boston Chicago markets ever since um what the what was uh what was it called before the FedEx St. Dude, it’s slipping out of my mind right now. The first playoff event that one, it was in the Northeast, the Northern Trust, like those types of markets are such a big like such a big miss for the PGA Tour to not be in those types of spots. Um, so that definitely stood out to me. Tweet, I know you had another conversation that you wanted to have regarding Philadelphia Cricket Club and how it played out. So, want to give you the floor on that as well. I’ll say this first. totally agree that we need the PGA Tour in these like kind of like underserved big markets. I also think like there’s some really obvious reasons why this isn’t happening. And Philly Cricket, right, like has a pretty small membership compared to your typical Northeast Golf Club, which by the way, most of them don’t have huge memberships anyway. They also have 36 holes. And so they can they can take a course out of rotation for the three to four weeks that it would take to prep it, play it, let it recover, and not really piss off all their members. They’re not going to sign up for that every year. Um, but I think there’s a pretty good reason why we don’t see more courses in these big markets raising their hand. And it’s because they’ve got members who want to play and have short golf seasons and don’t want to give up two to four weeks of their golf course during the peak golf season to get not a lot back out of it to be honest. And unless one of the members owns a company nearby and is going to sponsor the tournament is which is not the case with Druist, right? They’re headquartered in North Carolina. Uh, I I think it’s just going to be a hard sell to get a club in Chicago to agree to do this or a club in Philly to agree to do it year in and year out. There’s a reason why New Jersey keeps trying and failing and it works for a little bit and then it doesn’t. It’s like the members have the ultimate sway. Um, I thought Philly Cricket acquitted itself wonderfully, even though the golf course they played isn’t even really a golf course on site. It’s a it’s one of the courses in a weird routing. Yeah. But it was really nice to see greens with slope. Uh, we get very used to seeing what are extremely flat greens week in and week out on tour. And to see players have to start three-foot putts outside the hole was really nice. And you saw my guy Keith did it. Uh guys three putting from six feet and and because they’re not used to to having to line it up outside or having to baby having to play defensively downhill, that sort of thing. They play fast greens, but fast greens that roll straight are not much of a defense. Um, and so I thought the course was really cool and it was awesome to see. That said, they had to play it at a par 70. If they hadn’t got weather, probably would have gotten torn apart a little more. When we say it acquitted itself, well, we’re talking about scored a par, right? But style of playwise, I don’t know that I saw anybody hit a five iron all week unless it was off the te. So that kind of has had me think and I don’t know where you guys net out on this and I didn’t want to know so I haven’t asked but I want to ask you where do you stand on the idea of rolling back the golf ball and we can use this past week as sort of a lens for that whether you think it’s a pointless and it’s pointless because look how great Philly cricket club stood up or we need to and we need to because look at how they played it like what do you guys think about that? Ross, you want to go first or you want me to take it first? Yeah, I can go first. Uh, honestly, um, I understand that they’re trying with a roll back that we’re trying to reel it in, dial it back quite literally and kind of bring everyone back down to to par. But the fact is, even with a roll back, Rory’s still going to hit it 80 yards farther than everybody else, right? Like the scores are going to go up. You’re going to see them still using the different clubs. Like you said, Tweet, like people be pulling out five irons and whatnot out of the bag, but even with the roll back, I still think you’re going to see the elevated game from the elevated players. It that yes, the ball is not going to go as far, but depending on what your strength of your game is. Like Rory’s still going to outdrive everyone by 60 [ __ ] yards every every single time. Just instead of the ball going 380, it’s going to go what 310 320, right? So, I still think you’re going to have the players elevate themselves and separate themselves with their caliber, but I I’m I’m okay with with a roll back. I I just don’t think you’re necessarily going to get the full, I guess, advantage you were hoping to bring everyone down to par. I think you’re going to get a decent amount of people even out, but you’re still going to have those guys separate themselves by a a pretty vast distance. I don’t know. I don’t know if I necessarily think the golf ball getting rolled back is what needs to happen. I do like to see that um they’re at least kind of recognizing that there’s a problem. I think the problem though is with the driver head and it’s just gotten way too forgiving and it doesn’t allow for there’s no big misses or at least they don’t happen as frequently as they should be. And I think Bryson even like admitting or saying on one of his YouTube videos like when I hit it off the toe, I need it to go in the fairway. Like that’s kind of I think the problem with modern golf right here right now. I don’t necessarily think it’s the golf ball. I I like like I said them kind of recognizing that something is off here and something may need to be done, but I don’t necessarily think it’s the golf ball tweet. Okay. So, I’m going to try to convince you guys that not only do we need a roll back, but that it doesn’t go nearly far enough. And you guys sound like maybe you agree with that a little bit. I have I have an opinion on this and I might write about it. I started writing about it earlier and I might finish my thoughts tonight, but I’ll say this. There are two there actually three major problems I think with the game right now. One of them has been very well traveled in all of the discourse around a potential roll back and it’s that the golf courses are just unsuitable for today’s modern pro. Uh the pro has gotten in the last 20 years 30 yards longer. And that 30 yards is hugely impactful to the idea of where a bunker is placed for instance or what club you’re hitting into a green. and it can negate a lot of the design details that something like a Philly cricket shows up with. Uh, and you saw Rory just clear bunkers. Seth was really the guy who deal with the bunkers, which is it’s nice that he won because he had he had to actually negotiate uh what clubs he was hitting. But by and large, the courses are not suitable for today’s length. And so that’s problem one. And I think just a raw distance roll back kind of solves that problem. Um, it doesn’t solve the second problem, which is the one Ross identified, which is that like the well, some people would say the problem is PE the long guys are just longer and they’re going to continue to be longer and the roll back doesn’t fix that, which is true, right? Rory’s still going to be 30 yards longer than the next guy. And if everybody’s shorter, that 30 yards is now a greater percentage of his total distance. And so now it’s a more pronounced advantage. So like there’s no nothing you can do short of like you know telling Rory to stop lifting weights to make that you know you can’t change Rory’s fundamental uh dynamic of his golf swing. But the issue I’m having and this is something I haven’t seen a lot of people say and this is why I wanted to bring it up. I think back to a time in golf where you guys were probably just getting into golf. I was getting into golf the like sort of late 90s and there were a lot of different kinds of ways you could win a golf tournament in the late 90s. I think about Ian Wnom right who’s like 5 foot nothing and not a long hitter and Wooie could win majors by and get to world number one by being crafty and swashbuckling his way around a green and and by uh you outthinking the golf course. And by the same token, you had Ernie Ells who hit the ball like godamn country miles and could win a golf tournament by overpowering the golf tourn the the golf course. And then you had, you know, like Phil coming on the scene and could, you know, dazzle you with with shot making, right? That sort of thing. There were a lot of different kinds of golfer you could be. And I think about this like in baseball, right? Like there’s guys who hit for power and there’s guys who hit for get on base and there’s like you don’t have to be Aaron Judge, right? you can be, you know, somebody who who puts the ball in play. And baseball’s done a pretty good job of making sure that’s still the case by making sure that the equipment it uses doesn’t make everyone a home run hitter, right? They use wooden bats and not metal bats. The problem, I think, with golf is that everybody has become a home run hitter because the equipment is so easy to hit. And that’s the point you were making, Jack, where like, hey, the ball roll back doesn’t solve this problem. we’ve got to fix the driver head or at the very least make the ball spin a hell of a lot more. Um, so that there’s a a punishment to missing a fairway. And this you have to think a little bit more about like, hey, am I making a swing that makes the ball go long or am I making a swing that puts the ball in the place where I need it to go? Uh, and that brings us to the third problem. And I’m not I’ve been thinking about this a lot today. I’m not sure how to fix this. I’m not sure it even is that big a problem, but I but it definitely it was a couple times this weekend and it is typically a problem which is the punishment for missing a fairway by this much is pretty severe. The punishment for missing a fairway by this much is often not severe at all. You think about LACC and Windham Clark putting it into the goddamn concession stands on the 18th hole. that the if he had missed by less, it would have been a more punitive miss because the place he hit it was, you know, everybody’s trampled that down or it’s it’s a free drop because of tio or one thing or another. And I don’t know if you can fix that other than to move the crowds back significantly. And the courses where you can force the crowds to move back are all at open championships. And they can do that because, hey, it’s part of the history of this golf course that you don’t stand there, right? You like nobody lines the left side of the road hole, right? like they’re all on that side, you know, like because that’s the golf course over there. You don’t go over there. And that’s not the case at Quill Hollow where you’re going to have fans up both sides of both of every hole and the farther offline you hit it, the better lie you get. I don’t know that we can fix that problem with equipment, but I do think we can fix the first two problems with a golf ball that doesn’t go as far, that spins a little more, and a driver head that’s just like not as engineered for complete and total forgiveness. And the the conversation getting reignited this week around Philly cricket has got me kind of astonished that there are still so many people who think this isn’t a problem and who are just like it’s fine because I want to see different kinds of players play golf. And if you go back 20 or 30 years the shortest hitter on tour and the longest hitter on tour are separated by 65 70 yards. And now it’s like 30. The in fact from the longest hitter on tour right now, Aldrick Pogeter to the hundth ranked uh driving player on tour is only about 14 yards. It’s a really the the top is clustered with people all at about the same distance and it it has become a pretty homogeneous game at least off the tea and that has led to a pretty homogeneous game on the way into the greens because everybody’s hitting nine irons and lower which has led to a pretty homogeneous game around the greens because every all the greens are flat because they had to trick them out and make them so fast to try to get the score back to par. And it’s had this domino effect that I think this week really crystallized for me that I want to see greens with slope, which means I need to see slower greens, which means we need people hitting longer clubs into them to separate who the best shotmakers are, which means we need the ball not to go as [ __ ] far if we don’t want 8,500 yard golf courses. And I don’t see any other way around it. And so that is my passionate pitch to roll the [ __ ] ball back. Like just let’s just do it. Like the USGA and the RNA are in. But man, like the that’s it’s never going to happen unless the PGA tour and the USPGA are also involved in in on this decision and they are not right now. And it’s just kind of breaking my heart because we’re going to turn baseball into a home run derby just letting this thing go and pretending it’s not a problem. Yeah, that’s it. I don’t I don’t understand how people don’t think something needs to be done. Whether you think it’s the driver face or the golf ball, something needs to be addressed here. And I I think just even major championships, the US Open PGA Championship with the way the golf course is set up and as we’ll get into here in a moment, like the limited amount of players that we feel like can truly win this thing because you need to crush the ball a certain distance to have the best chance, right? It takes away from the creative players opportunities to shine. And just thinking about, you know, how much more it takes for someone like a Denny McCarthy or guys who don’t hit the golf ball as far, how much better, by the way, is long relative to the history of golf. He’s like his ball, he’s got like 168 ball speed. Like that was like would have been in the top 25 on tour 30 years ago, you know? Like Danny McCarthy would have been long as [ __ ] in 1995. And like, yeah, I know Brian Harman and Brian Campbell both exist. Like I get it. You can. But the thing is, like, and I made this point over the weekend too, like if Kevin Kizner, who is a I don’t like him, but is a great has been a great golfer, had a great career. If Kevin Kizner were 18 years old right now, not only would he never make the PGA Tour, he couldn’t even get recruited to a top college. Like, he would have to play his entire career at like directional bum [ __ ] state and then he’d be working for Callaway and that would be his whole like there’s no way. And like man, it really makes me respect the [ __ ] out of Brian Harbon and Brian Campbell. But like it’s just we have narrowed the pool of potential aspirant professional golfers to who can get through the door of ball speed and then now show me who the best ball strikers are and show me who the best putters are out of the people who have the requisite ball speed. But we’re losing a lot of golfers who have a a ton of character to their games. Yep. in favor of a ton of guys who have very similar games with minute differences between them that are optimized for the current state of pro golf. And I do not like the sameness of the top 100 golfers uh on the they’re all the same guy to to some degree and there’s not much there for us to latch on to. And and when we get to picks for the PGA, we’re going to talk about a lot of guys with really similar profiles, and we’re going to be astonished at how many of them there are. That there are a lot of guys who this is a course fit for because it’s going to be a wet, long golf course that favors the three skills that almost everybody has now. And to me, that makes the game less fun. And I think that’s really reflected too in just the style of player you see come up from the corn and fairy tour and from college nowadays, right? All of them just mash the golf ball as far as they can, make as many parties as possible. That’s the name of the game. And I agree with you. I I definitely don’t think that’s the most fun way to go about golf. I don’t enjoy watching golf tournaments won at 2425 under. Who can go the lowest? Doesn’t doesn’t do it for me. I I think there was literally when me and Twe like first became friends, I think one of the first videos I sent him was like the top 25 swings in co in college right now and we literally said the same thing. Like I didn’t see a single [ __ ] difference between any of those guys besides the ball speed and they just launch bombs. Yeah, that’s it. Yeah. Christo Lamprect is the only guy with a weird swing and it’s because he’s 6’8 and he looks like a giraffe learning how to walk like Yeah. like which I mean I mean good for them, right? Like like not [ __ ] on college. It’s it’s a [ __ ] golden age of college golf and if you want to see guys who can score. It’s just man I just miss it makes me miss the day a different day of golf that I didn’t realize how far gone it was until I thought about it this weekend. Well, I’m definitely looking forward to uh that article that you’re going to produce. Everyone, if you want to check it out, we’ll be dropping I’m sure sometime soon at on sports. We’ll see for sure whenever uh definitely be on the lookout for that and make sure to go and check out uh all the great work that Tweet has already done for us over there. Some excellent articles that I think everyone will greatly enjoy. But since we’re on the topic of golf course discussion, guys, before we move into uh the odds board and who we’re liking at this year’s PGA Championship, I want to get your thoughts on Quail Hollow as the venue for this year’s PGA Championship. I see it’s kind of been talked about in the golf community ecosystem. Some people don’t like it, some people do. What What are the two cents on uh on Coil Hall? Tweet, take it away. I don’t like it. I don’t I don’t like it as a tour stop. Why not? I don’t I don’t think it’s a test of first of all, as a test of major championship golf. It’s ridiculous that this is hosting a major championship. It is only hosting a major championship because it we can be pack a lot of fans in there. Uh same reason Valhalla got to the plate. it. There’s there’s no chance. I mean, it would shock me if there were like significant double bogeies this week. Like I think like the max score you can make on any hole at Quill Hollow is a bogey. Um I I just don’t I I think the it’s it’s it’s boring, right? Let’s just throw that out there. It’s it would be a fine non-signature event. It’s it’s Inisbrook, right? It’s it’s every other non-signature event golf course and it’s worse than half of those. But like I don’t I don’t understand how you get four of these a year and we can continue to [ __ ] up the venues so badly with at least one of them a year. And next year the PGA is going to go to a great uh course in ironic which by the way you want you want another tournament in Philly. There you go. You got it right. You guys earned it. It’s going to go to a great golf course. And it was at a great golf course uh two years ago at Oakill, which you know, maybe didn’t play as as the way people thought it was going to, but I but was still a great course and and it’s been to Kio, which I love. And like there are so many different kinds of golf courses that this this major championship could go to that the idea it’s like listen, I’m not a foodie. Like I like highway food. Like find me an Outback Steakhouse. I’m fine. But like if I’m on vacation in like New York City or Chicago or Montreal or San Francisco or somewhere, I’m not going to eat at Outback Steakhouse. This is a special week. I’m on the road. I’m going to have a nice meal somewhere. Even if I don’t fully appreciate it the way actual foodies do, there are four major championships a year. Don’t go to the Outback of Courses. It’s it like just don’t do it. You don’t have to. And there are too many good golf courses to not just like go to one of those like move around and make up a year. Go do go to KA again. I don’t care. Like I just and I know that the people in Charlotte get really mad and I know there’s been a lot of like anger. And if any of them are watching this, your city’s fine. Like got nothing against your city. It’s got a nice little uh bar downtown. I’ve been to a bunch. Like has a great Hampton in. I’m I’m into your city. Uh big Hampton in guy. That’s Listen, Hilton Hilton Points for life. Uh, got great Hilton Honors properties in in the Charlotte metro. Um, the airport is fine. I’m not cheating on your city. I’ve played better golf courses in the surrounding area. It’s not like it there’s just not enough there for me to to call it a real major championship venue. And it will be I don’t know how many tournaments we’ve had this year. Let’s say we’ve had 18 golf tournaments this year or something like that. It might be like the 12th best golf course. And it’s the second major of the year. I don’t like I just don’t and and listen like it couldn’t fit the guys I like better. It’s Rory’s going to win but but it tends Yeah. What are you bitching about? Yeah, but like but also like Justin Thomas won a shitty non-competitive major here and I maybe I resent the golf course for that, but like this place this place just sucks and I don’t like I’m going to enjoy it because it’s a major and I really hope it plays tough. It doesn’t seem like it’s going to it’s raining a lot. It’s probably going to play soft. Whatever. I hope they do something to it. It’s certainly visually appealing down the backstretch. The golf course just sucks and no one’s going to make a double in a key moment. And if I’m wrong about that and the leaders come down 18 and one of them puts it in that creek or makes double or does something stupid, I’ll eat it. But that’s not what’s gonna happen. It’s gonna be a lot more like Valhalla where you can make a nervy shot and it and you’re going to get bailed out by the golf course. And I hate that. I I think my favorite take I’ve heard describing this week for Quail Hollow is another friend of the program, CP for Golf Digest, saying that this course is absolutely phenomenal. incredible tree lions, everything. If we were playing this PJ Championship in the year 1960, I like the Outback Steakhouse of Golf Courses. That’s a line that’s that’s a line that’s going to stick with me for a minute. I I feel the same way. It’s just kind of a lazy and boring choice, right? I’ll tell you why they did a tweet. Not only because they can pack in a lot of fans. It’s because Quail Hollow wants to be hosting these things. And you mentioned earlier there’s a difficulty with getting big-time clubs to want to host these championships. Coil Hollow has the means to do so and they want to do so. So, rewarding them with a major championship, like I said, is just kind of a lazy decision. That stinks. That one of the four majors of the year, this is what we get. We see it every year. They literally have their their membership like accounts into every single year that there’s four to six weeks that they just know like, “Oh, yeah. We’re not we’re we’re totally fine not doing [ __ ] because we’re having the PGA back again.” they have that type of membership. It’s because they have that type of membership is why they get these things yearly and why after all the years in a row again they’re being rewarded with yet another major, you know, seven years after the fact because every single year they have the outstanding membership that just rolls belly over like give some belly rubs. Here’s the course, guys. It’s easy to do that though when you have a 11month golf season, right? Or a 10 month golf season, right? It’s like it’s it’s different if it’s up where you guys are where you only get to play five six months a year and also not for nothing but when a lot of your members are members somewhere else too, right? A lot of those guys are also members at Wade Hampton or can also go over to you know Oldtown or whatever. Like you know they don’t they don’t care. Uh so like I’m not good on the members for doing that but like it’s just crazy to me that the same tournament that can go to Southern Hills and Baltus Raw and Beth Page Black also has to settle for goddamn Quill Hollow. Like that’s insane. Why? Why? Respect yourself, PGA, right? Have [ __ ] self-respect. It’s like, you know, like you you’ve all seen your buddy who’s like dates beautiful women take somebody home from the bar. You’re like, “Dude, really?” Like, just like maybe maybe take tonight off. Maybe respect yourself a little bit so you don’t wake up in the morning questioning this decision. Yeah. Tough two years. Following up Valhalla last year. Yeah, that’s what I was just about to say. Tough two-year stretch. Just boring venues. One thing I will What do you guys think the winning score is going to be this week? 17. Yeah, I was going to say I was going to say 14 15. That was kind of be my ballpark. If if it’s Rory, it’s going to be like 19 again like last year. That’s true. He definitely has has the capability to blitz everyone and win by like six. Um yeah, it’s definitely not my favorite venue. I do like it more than Valhalla. I think it’s going to play more. It’s going to not not that that’s much of a test because it was a minus. This is the Outback Valhalla Denny’s. It’s way worse. True. And it’s Denny’s at like 3:00 a.m. The rough crowd that no one wants to be around. Yeah. Ever. You stick to the floor when you walk around. Yeah. Well, at the very least, fellas, the style of golf course does make for a very intriguing conversation at the top of the betting board as we’ve got a big three pretty clearly here in Rory Maroy, who’s coming off of the career grand slam. Of course, by the way, congratulations to all. Look at us, fellas. Look at us. You know how shitty the rest of the year would have been coming on this show if we didn’t have Rory. Couldn’t have been us. Uh Rory obviously wins the Masters. He’s got three wins already this year, four wins in his career at Quail Hollow and five other top 10s in 13 starts. Then you got Bryson Dambo who also mashes the golf ball, the best or second best driver in the world right up there with Rory coming in with great form. And then Scotty Sheffller who finally picked up his first win of 2025 at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson. Say what you want about the field and the golf course. He won by eight, absolutely blitzed the field. That’s what you want to see out of your world. Number one tweet. That was kind of the gripe you had about Scotty last year. You want to go and see him win by a touchdown. He went and did that. So, what are what are your thoughts on the big three top of the board going into this year’s major? It really feels like one of these guys are doing it in my opinion at least. It It’s hard not to just like fire a bullet at whichever one of those you think is I mean like this is not like a value field, right? like everybody who who is get you play this tournament a 100 times 85 or 90 of them are getting won by one of those three guys or maybe you take maybe you expand it to five and you add like Rahm and Xander that’s that’s like the that’s 90% of who’s going to win this tournament and I think it would be really fun if one of them didn’t win it but I I don’t see that happening um and I you know I’m all for Rory Bryson free you know we got Rory Bryson one at Pinehurst, we got Rory Bryson two at the Masters. Give me Rory Bryson three. I Sure. Yeah. Like, so yeah, if we’re gonna have one where it’s just And again, I’m on record. This is my like take of the year. There will be no first-time major winners this year. Justin Ray tweeted earlier today, we have not since 2014 had four majors in a row with only repeat winners. We’re at three. So, Logic says, “Well, maybe a first-time’s got to win.” I’m putting my stake in the ground saying absolutely not. Everybody who can win this tournament has already won a major. Um, and I think really the only guy that that rules out that has any shot at all is Levik. Yeah. Uh, so I’m okay ruling Levig out for the week. Ross, what are your what are your thoughts here at the top of the board with with the big three? Um, honestly, uh, I when we get into our picks, I end I, uh, ended up playing playing this partially. I I end I ended up playing this uh fair because the unfair thing is I already had a Rory Future that we’ve talked about for months and months and months at this event when when when the year started. Um it’s coming from one of those three. I I I don’t think you can it’s going to go any other way. You would love that miracle magic for a P for PGA someone coming up and get getting this. This is going to Rory. This is going to Scotty. This is going to Bryson and it one one of these three if not all of these three are going to be sitting at the top of the board on on Sunday and we’re going to be probably glued to our couches for hopefully an iconic back nine of the three of them just going headto headto head that all right who’s who’s going to come get it. Yeah. It doesn’t make for the most fun outright uh conversation as you said Twe. would make for a much cooler story if like someone were to surprise win this bad boy. I just don’t think this is the style of golf course that’s going to allude to that. I I really do think we could get Rory versus Bryson part three here. And just from the sake of the odds, I’m probably going to wind up going with Bryson to Shambo. I’m already kicking myself for not betting it after I had my separ yesterday, but that’s probably where I’m leaning. Uh, I’d probably rank Rory second if I had to like rank these three and have Scotty third, but I’m picking hairs there. I I really still think even though Scotty’s not quite as long as Rory and Bryson, I still think his he’s long enough, like you said, Tweet, he’s by no means short, still a good enough long driver of the golf ball and hits enough fairways. And one thing that I should note as well, looking back at the 2017 leaderboard here, wasn’t necessarily Bombers, although that tournament was played in August, a little bit of a different aronomy there, but like Justin Thomas, Kevin Kner, who you just talked about a moment ago, finished in the top 10 at the PGA Championship here. So, I do still believe it’s going to favor towards bombers, but that was just interesting to go back and look at that leaderboard. Yeah, you listen, if you’re not a bomber, but you hit your long irons, well, what’s the difference, right? Like Colin Morau is a guy who’s like not long by any means, but if you hits if you’re six iron as close as everybody else hits their pitch wedge, who gives a [ __ ] And there are very accurate guys who like for sure could shake shake a tree. Um, you know, Keith Mitchell is one of them to be honest. Like I mean, who’s playing better on Thursday than Keith Mitchell? Uh, you know, but you know, I don’t I don’t uh I’m not holding out a ton of hope for that. I think it’s like a very topheavy. Can I make the quick case for Xander real quick? Yeah, go for it. For sure. We’re just about to slide in that next tier and we’re talking about the the top five guys still, right? It’s like and I was looking at it and they’re like, again, I think it’s a Rory Bryson thing. I don’t mind it would be good for Sheffler’s career to get a win out a major win outside of Augusta. Um, so like would be would be good for him to do that. I think Rom is a threat anytime he tees it up. And then beyond that, you got a bunch of guys like Lvig or Minw like long hitters who like sure could surprise somebody. I hate that I just put those two in the same category there, but you know, you get the you get what I’m saying, right? I was like, damn. Guys who are long who haven’t won a major. Let’s just put that all in one bucket. Uh but but you got Xander there. And I want to give you guys a couple of names here. And and and I’ll just say like we all know that if I say who’s longer, Xander or Menwe, we know who’s longer, right? Who’s longer? Menwell. Mini is long by a lot. By the same token, if I say who’s longer, Xander or Scotty Sheffller, we know it’s Xander. Yeah. So, Xander is longer than average, but not as long as the longest guys. I’m going to give you some other names, and you just tell me if Xander is longer or shorter than these guys. Cam Young. Shorter. He’s longer than Cam Young. Really? I wonder if that’s because though Cam Young’s lost the driver and he ain’t ripping it anymore, maybe. I don’t know. But ball ball speed rankings this season. That’s all. Okay. Okay. For sure. How about How about Ryan Fox, who gets the ball a goddamn mile, who just won this past week. Longer or shorter? I’d say Fox is longer. Xander is longer than Ryan Fox. Okay. I know Xander picked it up. Tony. Xander or Tony Fina? I’d go Xander Schoffley by a lot by the way. By like five miles an hour. Xander Schoffley is sneaky become like one of the longest dudes on tour. And now like some of that is just he just hits. He has the freest possible swing and he has absolutely no reservation. He’s never steered the ball once in his life. He just swings hard. Good for him. Like but like this dude has put on a lot of length and he’s longer than a lot of guys we think of as like long long ball hitters. There’s only like 10 guys on tour longer than Sander. He’s like 14th right now. That’s pretty nuts. And if you’re cruising at like 184 or whatever the [ __ ] he can like, you know, get to like you deserve. Now Rory is longer than him. Bryson is longer than him. I don’t know where Rom is right now, but I would guess that he’s probably like still a little longer than Xander when he when he gets into it. But like Xander’s longer than basically he’s longer than Levig. like he’s longer than a lot of the people that that are going to come up as like real contenders here on a course that favors one skill above all the others. So, I would say that like his game is starting to round into form. I I’ve been a not aander guy in the past and and you know kind of ate my words last year like just and and I’ll say one more thing. I got like clipped the last time we did this because I said KCO was going to play well and Scratch got all but hurt about it. We’re going to pick multiple We’re going to pick multiple people, guys. And that means that only one of them can win. Did I pick the winner at the Masters? I did pick the winner at the Masters, right? Did I also pick five or six guys who lost? Yeah, that’s how this [ __ ] goes. You pick five or six guys, one of them hopefully wins. If I give you a guy who is absolutely not going to win the thing, and he wins it, clip me. Put it on the internet. But if I give you guys who are going to win and they don’t win, but one of them does, don’t clip the other five and be like, “Haha, gotcha.” That’s not how this [ __ ] game works, right? So, Scratch, I still won. Yeah. Like, take your goddamn screen recording down, Scratch, or whatever because like I’m about to tell you that Xander has a chance to win this tournament. And when he doesn’t, I don’t want to be clipped, right? He has a chance to win. He’s not whether he wins or not, I don’t know, right? But like, I want to be heard. He has a chance to win this tournament. And it’s more than people think because he’s longer than people think. Scratch just always out for blood. You you know how he dude just like he’s just mad I beat him at Bowling Brook and he’s never going to let it go. It’s like my betting card last week. If you looked at my not Seth Rocka bet, my card was absolutely disgusting. But guess what? Sea cash. Sea cash and I’m going to think it was a great card a year from now. Uh I really do like the the Xander call though. Uh and I was actually hoping he wasn’t gonna have as good of a weekend. Not that his odds were ever going to drop like very far here this week, but um 18 to1 though. That’s pretty good for him. Yeah, for Xander, very fair number. And I I knew he was getting longer. I guess I just didn’t realize he was quite in that breath of the conversation on the PGA Tour. Guess who’s finished runner up runner up at Coyle Hollow his last two trips? Finished runner up to Rory last year. Finished runner up to uh Windham Clark the year prior to that. Starting to find his game a little bit. Like definitely a good spot for Xander. one one of the guys outside of the big three that like I’m legitimately discussing betting this week. Yep. Uh who else we got in this conversation though that we want to bring up? Obviously uh uh scratch tweet you said John Ramy’s 18 to1. Uh we got your boy Justin Thomas in this conversation 22 to1 Morawa 25. Ludvig 28. Neman 33. Tweet. I know you said you know if you haven’t won a major already you’re not interested in bedum. So Ross, I guess I’ll steer this conversation over to you. Who in this middle tier outside of really the big three are you interested in betting or think has a good chance this week at the PGA? Already on my card and Uncle Tweath is not going to like this that I want to play. But we already have a winner here. We already have a major here. He is now both longer off the tea and coming and coming in h hotter than than previously before. I do have JT here at 22. I JT probably should have won the truest. I mean, if he just how he played the 15th and 16th just killed him, but he was the real one who was Oh, no. He made a tragic error coming down the stretch because he has no [ __ ] dog. Yeah, sorry. Sorry that happened to you, GT. I I don’t I don’t disagree. He kind of no dogged his way into the win at the RBC. I mean, all Andrew Novak had to do was make like a nine-footer, and that thing should have shouldn’t have even gone to a playoff. Uh, I’m not interested on Southern Hills. You can’t keep getting away with it. Uh, 22 to1. I’m I’m not interested if I’m going to be going to the top of the board. Um, really for me, it would probably be Ludvig if I could find something towards 30. I just think his skill set is so good uh on this type of setup that he’s eventually going to find himself in the conversation, but he he hasn’t even really been playing all that well heading in. So, like this middle tier doesn’t move the needle all that much for me. Uh tweet, I I got to bring up Bill Brooks. Kept 45 to1. That’s a number that’s got to be staring you in the eye. Well, I I like I got burned uh touting Brooks so hard at the Masters and I’m not ready to go back to the Well, um but what is Hideki’s number? I was just about to bring him up next. 45 to one. Uh yeah, like why not? Why don’t Why don’t I put my name on that? He was grinding putting in the rain for some reason today. I don’t know why. Uh dog. That’s why. Dog. He’s long enough, right? He’s he’s long enough. He’s not in that top 15, but he’s long enough, top 50 or so, and he hits his irons inside of a thimble when he’s on. So, like, you tell me Hideki can’t have a good week. Yeah. Like, he’s at least in the conversation way more than 45 to1 would allow you to believe. But like honestly, like even if I wasn’t so against the idea of like guys who haven’t won majors before, like there are some guys in there who I think are like worth looking at. Like Cory Connors is probably worth looking at, right? Um like Taylor Pendrith is like long as [ __ ] and like could could be okay. I don’t I don’t hate Fenow, whatever. Again, none of those are for me. I don’t I’m not spending money on it. But to me, it’s like all the value comes back in way way way down the board where you get like one of those kind of like, yeah, it was it was really wet and sloshy and this guy just like hit it far enough and then hit it close enough and made enough putts to be in it at the end. And like one name, speaking of major winners who are playing kind of sneaky good who no one is gonna pick this week, can I just give you one like crazy name that if he top 10 this week it wouldn’t shock me? Hit me. Gary Woodland. Oh, okay. Can you just give me a little Gary Woodland stock? 250 to1 to win it. But like I don’t know what his top 10 odds are, but like give me like an eachway Gary Woodland slice just cuz like I don’t think it would shock anybody if we’re sitting here on Saturday and it’s like hey Gary Woodland’s three back. That’s weird. Look at him. Look at Gary Woodland up there, right? Like feel good story. Wasn’t he up in up there in Houston? That’s a long ass golf course. Right. Like and if he’s got his game back a little bit, he knows he can contend for a major championship. He stared Brooks down. Yeah. like he’s not scared. So, I’m going to just throw a little like give me like a taster. If I’m putting a ton of money in guys who have short odds, give me like some long shots to equalize it so I can have a hedge if Gary Woodland is in there three, four back on Saturday. It’s like something to look at. I really do like the Gary Woodland shout. Long golf courses. Yeah, always been his bread and butter. Who gets a four iron better than Gary Woodland when he’s on by the way? Like, come on. like neck high too. Neck high too. Just flighting that mofo. Can you imagine? And by the way, like uh since I know we were just talking about the top guys and I forgot to say this, but I really want to say it. No, you’re good. I do think Rory and Bryson are like far and away the two best choice even beyond Scotty for this golf course. However, if you’re on 18, imagine these guys are on 18. They need to hit, let’s call it a seven iron into that to that hole. Let’s say they’re they’re they put themselves in that position. Gary Woodland is gonna put that ball on the right side of the green. Bryson Desambo, what side of the green is the creek on? It’s on the left side of the green. Yeah. Where do all of Bryson Dambo’s iron shots go when there’s a little bit of pressure on? They go to the left. And so if if that’s your final group, right? And I’m I’m not saying it is. I’m just saying like if I got one of those two guys to hit a seven iron to win the golf tournament on 18, give me Gary Woodland. And one of those guys is literally like 15x the odds of the other, you know, like you don’t I don’t have to talk me into that. 100% like the Gary Woodland shout. You know who wishes there was a creek on the left? Meo Pereira. Wish him wish. Oh, tough times. Tough times for Elito on the 72nd hole. And tough times for uh our other golf host here at OnTap Sports. Now, Joey Ricardes, he had an 100 to1 Meto Pereira ticket. The PGA Championship was one of the worst beats I’ve ever seen. That That was a tough uh post PGA Championship episode that we had to do. Ross, before we move down a little bit further here, I got to ask you uh your thoughts about your boy Jordan speed. 60 to1 feels like a relatively fair number. Obviously going for the career grand slam as Twe shakes his head in disgust in in the bottom of our screen here. Uh what what are the vibes like for Jordan? Obviously, you’ve been high on Jordan’s chances in 2025 for quite a while now. What are we thinking ahead of the PJ Championship? Is this the year, Ross? I put him on my card. The The game The game has been The game is the The game The game has been getting better. He has not checked off every single box. It’s about every single week. It feels like if you need to check four boxes to win, it feels like he’s checking three. we’ve yet to check for. But I also think it feels like he’s been so written off since Rory went and completed the Grand Slam that everyone’s just like, “Oh, well, who’s going to do it next? Is it going to be is it going to be Zan Xander? Is Scotty going to come and rattle off a bunch?” And people are just kind of writing off like Jordan just needs to win this and and we’re we got another guys like we’re we’re in the exclusive club. And I I feel like he does take that a little personally, especially since the Masters. I feel like he has kind of written that down like in his mental notebook that they don’t think I can do this. And so at that number totally was fair for me that absolutely having a having maybe a little extra dog in him to sit sit there as the underdog and be like well people don’t think I can win this year and just check the and check this last box when every single week he’s checking three out of four. What says that this week can’t be four out of four and especially who doesn’t think Jordan Speed can win? Jordan Speed because Rory said it’s your time and he goes not at Rory Mroy Country Club or whatever. I know he’s being polite. I know he’s being I don’t think Jordan Speed thinks he can win. I do think next year if he’s healed a little bit is a really great course for him and if he’s still contending in 2029 Baltus Jimmy Walker golf course is like an amazing place for him to pick one off. Why can’t we be there this week? Why can’t we be there this week or please please can we such a shame. Yeah. Anyway, uh but yeah, I don’t I don’t uh I’m I love your optimism, but I don’t think even Jordan Speed is putting money on himself this week. As our resident Jordan Speed stand here at O on Tab Sports Net, I respect Ross. Go ahead, Jordan this week 100%. Uh I do want to get your guy Oh, go ahead, Ross. And then I I did have one last one in that range before we go to actual bombers like Uncle Twee is predicting that. Hey, maybe give me a nice little hedge because they’re up there late late in the action. Um, but we talked about that Rory and Bryson have the game that is perfect for this course to win just and we know that you need the ball speed. We know you need the distance here. There is one person in this field that I think can compete with this field without either of those and it’s just because he’s got the shots in the bag. I do have Russell Henley at 65 on here. I understand it. Uh a great week last week. Yeah, not a great week. I think he shot like 75 on Friday or something after getting off to a pretty good start. I understand the Russell Henley love. Not really going to be for me personally, but I certainly get it with the season that he’s having. Uh, one question I wanted to ask you, final question before we get to the bombs, final shouts. Anyone else we are thinking could have a good week at Quail Hollow? Uh, Shane Lowry, 55 to1. I just want to get your guys’ thoughts on him. Could Shane be the next lovable loser that nobody wants anything to do with that could potentially win this thing? It’s kind of been a thought that’s linger in my head. I I think Xander was much more inclined to have the breakout major season like he did last year being the longer of the two players. That’s not really Shane’s game. As we mentioned, it’s not a prerequisite to win, but you kind of need to have it. What are you guys’ thoughts on Shane Lowry? Maybe not even necessarily this week, but just moving forward the rest of the year after continuously suffering more heartbreaks. Is it going to rain the whole time? It very well. Very well not. If it rains all four days, then like sure. Yeah. Um, very few people deal with the elements better than Shane does. Uh, doesn’t probably hit the ball long enough to contend on a on a sunny day and still a damp golf course. Um, and there are a lot I mean honestly like I think even Oakmont sets up better for him than Quail does. And I don’t think Oakmont sets up particularly good for him. But he’s got all eyes on Port Rush. He’s he has there are only two golf courses Shane Lowry is thinking about. It’s Royal Port Rush and Beth Paige Black because he wants to win the Open and play on the Rder Cup team. And I don’t, you know, like it would be cool. I [ __ ] like it. Again, he’s a unit. I love I love Lowry, but it’s not the odds aren’t long enough for me to want a look at that when I don’t think I don’t think even he thinks he can win here. But if it rains the whole time, I take it all back and and like Sure. Okay. For sure. Just wanted to kind of get a vibe check overall on Shane Lowry. Just just interested to see where your guys’ minds were at. Uh but as far as just deep bombs, long shot guys, maybe prop bets that you wanted to throw out there. Aka, if I don’t bet Keith Mitchell first round leader and he hits, I’m not going to be able to live with myself. So, I’m for sure betting Keith Mitchell first round leader. But you guys have any other players you wanted to shout out or any props you got in at this point in time? Yeah, I’m gonna go first round leader on all the the non- major winners that I don’t think can win because they haven’t won a major before and I’m sticking to that take. But I do but if I do want a little action on them and the one guy that is absolutely long enough for on the card for me to take a look at him is Ricky Fowler. Ricky Fowler like Sneaky shows up. He’s been playing really well this season. He had a pretty good week last week. Like if Ricky Fowler is like, you know, seven under, like six under on Thursday afternoon, like is that going to shock anybody or is it gonna like I want to be on the train if Ricky Fowler gets out into the lead on Thursday. And so like there will be a little taste on Ricky. There might be a little taste on LVIG. I might throw a little Corey Connor’s love out there. Uh those will all be first round leader because I’m not betting anybody who hasn’t won a major before to win the damn thing. But like, you know, like I kind of like the the look of Ricky Fowler in the first round. I mean, he was one of those guys who was six under through eight at Philly cricket last week. No, no pressure in the first round. That’s Ricky’s bread and butter. I have I have one first round lead in that I actually really really like because he’s got the length, he’s got the short game. I don’t know if he has the dog to hold and get this event over four days, but for day one at 110 to one, I have Stephen Joerger. Okay, I like Mr. Jagger. By the way, longer than Stephen Joerger. That’s actually crazy. Is that insane? I didn’t I knew he had gotten longer, but I didn’t think it had gotten up to that point. Longer by like 15 spots or something like that. Like he’s Yeah, that is nuts, man. Good for him. Uh, so some guys I’m thinking about a little bit further down the board. Bomb. The only bomb I’m really look looking at is uh my boy Harris English. I kind of I can’t get them off me right now. I I just keep thinking they give him too big a numbers and 220 to1 on a guy who can win on long and difficult golf courses. We obviously saw it earlier this year with Tory Pines and there have been some similarities and guys who have won at Quail and Tory Pines historically. So 220 to1 on Harris English. Uh finished I think T11 last week. Was T12 at the Masters as I mentioned have has already won this year. So 220 to1 just kind of seems like uh too big of a number for him. Outside of that though, not a ton of guys I’m looking at down here. Tweet, I might tail you on Gary Woodland. Maybe FRL. Uh I also think What about like a little Jake Knap action? I I I do like FRL. Yeah. Is Rico Hoey in this field? Why Why don’t we just go like, “Yeah, go all the all the weird first round guys.” Like, give me Carl Phillips, give me Rico Hoey, give me Knap, give me like all the guys who are like forever on the on the first round leaderboard. Let’s get Let’s just pile up a bunch of like 10, 15, $20 first round leaders and just like have a [ __ ] ball on Thursday. I’m down, dude. Doesn’t take for me to get on Rico. I’m get like a 12 guy first round leader card. That’s what I’m I have a Minwe at 90. for a first for a first round lead. Um I I actually put Joerger on my card because Joerger was like 220 to one for W for winning the tournament and I and I said, “Well, he’s already already got a already got a dub and already already got a dub. He’s got got the length, got the short game. Why not?” Can I I’m going to throw out another name here and I need to get their number here real quick, but I have it. Yeah. Um, two guys we haven’t said yet. They are fourth and fifth in ball speed. They’re very close in ball speed because they are identical twins. Yeah, I I knew it was going to be one of the Hoy guards. Have we not said the Hoygards yet? Like they both can’t play well at the same time though. It’s a fact. One of the other. And whichever one you like better, whichever one you like better, bet the opposite one. Yeah, there you go. It’s the rule with the I like Rasmus so it’ll be Nikolai. But but like I don’t you know like why shouldn’t we why shouldn’t we fire at those the Hoy guards for first round leaders crushers. I I like it. Uh my one shout out I was going to go first round leader. A guy who finished T4 at the PGA Championship last year quietly has a win already this season and used to be a huge first round leader guy. Lovable loser until he finally got his win. Thomas Dietree first first round leader. Uh pro probably some big odds. Guy drives the golf ball a mile. should be good odds. But uh that that’s really all I got from far down in the board. Phil Mickelson 400 to one. I actually I wanted to bring this up. Uh in DraftKings DFS, they have Michael Black more expensive than Phil Mickelson this week. What a slap in the face. Ross, you got to be loving that as a big blockhead over there. I I have a Michael Black make the cut in there for sure. Yes, you do. Love to hear. What are the odds on that bad boy? I might have to tail that with you out of principle. Michael Block I got Michael Block make the cut at plus 3:30. Okay, that could be doable. I could I could find some crazy pop to parlay that with too. We could have We’re gonna have some fun stuff because we actually have the, you know, whole actual visor gang up here from Michael Block. Gotta got to ride it. Plus the Oak Hill. Come on. Absolutely respect. We’ll ride the Blocky vibes. Got to have something on on block 100%. Uh any final thoughts? These are guys who played well at Oakhill. Can we just say the name Victor Havlin so that the the internet doesn’t get mad at us? That is true. Won’t be anywhere near the money that I’m investing in this. But like sentimental would love to see Victor Havlin go out there and like get in the mix. It’s a good V good Victor Havlin golf course, but Twe, you’ve talked about like guys that don’t even like believe in themsel. I don’t think Victor Havlin believes in himself going into this week. Like I think he stumbled into a victory because he’s just that damn talented.
