PZ Soccer are live once again keeping you up to date with all the latest breaking news and press conferences in Scottish football. And this morning we’ve been here at the St. Marin Training Complex speaking to Steven Robinson. It’s a huge final two games for the Buddies as they look to book their place in European football for next season. They currently sit just two points behind Dundy United who are occupying that fifth and final place. But to get there, they’ve got two tricky fixtures. A test against Hibs at home tomorrow night. a team they’ve only lost to once in their last seven meetings before heading over to Celtic Park to take on the champion Celtic on their trophy day. Steven Robinson is says it’s going to be a tricky challenge, but he is fully confident in his players that they can get the job done and book their flights for a European trip once again. Um focused focused on trying to get another three points in Wednesday night. You know, we put ourselves in the position that with two games to go, people are still talking about us getting in European competition. So that’s an incredible achievement for the group of players as I’ve continually said and um you know we’ll we’ll be doing everything in our part to win the game. A tough game against the very good hit side but um one we’re more than capable of and we beat them in previous occasions so why not again. Stephen Robinson did reveal however that qualifying for Europe wouldn’t change much in terms of their transfer budget but it could entice more players to want to come and play their football at the Smiser Stadium. One player though that’s currently undergoing contract negotiations. Well, that is Zack Heming, the goalkeeper on loan from Middlesborough. Steven Robinson revealed this morning that the club are in advanced talks with the Championship side to get him back here next season. We did speak to the goalkeeper today and he spoke all about the disappointment and frustration he had on missing out on playing those European games last season. I think at the start of the season, I was probably disappointed and frustrated that I didn’t come back. Obviously, it’s just one of them things when you’re on loan, maybe you miss out on stuff the next season. But yeah, I felt like I contributed well last season and got us into Europe and then as a team, we got into Europe and then when I didn’t come back, it was just frustrating on them things. But yeah, hopefully we can do it this year and but there’s no pressure on us. Obviously, it was a good achievement getting into the top six. So, we just got to go Wednesday, play, no pressure like we did on Saturday and see what happens. And if we get in, then great. Hopefully, I come back and play them games. It’s St. Mirren versus Hibs at the Smiser Stadium tomorrow night and PLZ soccer will be there live as Steven Robinson looks to wrap up the season with a high. We’ll be live across all the press conferences taking place today. Okay, so if you want to stay up to date with all this and much more, stay with us on PZ Soccer’s social media sites and make sure you subscribe to our YouTube
