to get consistent, solid contact at impact the handle needs to be angled forward for any ball sitting on the ground.

Number two, we set the handle forward. So, we kind of place the handle in a position that feels like or kind of mimics what our impact is going to be like. And we see this time and time again from tour players. They don’t arrive at the ball with a perpendicular shaft or a 90°ree to the ground shaft. They arrive at the ball with the handle forward. And so, that again is because they’re trying to strike the ball on the down swing or as the club is on its way downward into the ball to ensure for solid contact. So, we brace that right leg and we set that handle forward to kind of predispose this downward angle of attack and this forward shaftling at impact.
