  1. On the third go I would have had a go at potting the red he had already missed twice. It wasn't easy, but even if he missed, he could have ended up setting the red up or even blocking the opponent from a very easy pot if the white went close to the cushion and the red just to the left. Not easy to play without speed but after two clear misses, aim for the same area.

  2. I’m not sure if it says more about Jimmy, or the depth of talent in the sport, that he’s still in the world’s top 100 at his age.

  3. just a casual follower here. When the que ball is put back why do the judges use eye? Dont they have a computer/screen showing exactly where each ball was?

  4. Wait, did the referee warn him though? I didn’t hear him warn him before the third attempt; pretty sure it’s in the rules that if a player isn’t warned, he doesn’t lose the frame?

  5. Some refs are right pig , him standing there to really rub the salt in, get the bloody balls on , do what your there for, 👍

  6. Have you seen the latest in dumb club snooker rules? It’s called the 900, the cue ball has spots all over it, (copied from American kiddie pool) after a foul shot your opponent can put the cue ball on any part of the table that’s advantageous to them, (copied from American Kiddie pool) a game is timed and whoever is in front on points when the time elapses wins, even if there’s only one point difference and there’s a lot of points left on the table, shots are timed and if the time is exceeded it constitutes a foul.

This will be the future of snooker once the officials who frame the rules decide to incorporate 900 rules into professional snooker and it won’t be long.

They ruined the game with the stupid foul and miss rule and it seems they’re determined to bring it into line with American pool, once they do that just watch as the popularity of snooker zooms downwards.

  7. I think the rule should be amended such that the other player has the right to refuse his opponent being docked the frame, when it's obvious that the miss wasn't a deliberate attempt at cheating, as was the case here. In that way, the referee wouldn't be compromised in any way or feel embarrassd at being forced to follow a rule to the letter. That said, I'm sure we all recall a time when deliberate misses were absolutely blatant. One thing that can never be enforced is a penalty for a deliberate in-off, to avoid leaving the white at the top end of the table !

  8. The thing now is this doesn't matter because he did win the match in the end but it was a close final frame decider could of gone either way but they will talk about this for years to come the saving grace for Jimmy is it was 1 1 when it happened xxxlol ❤❤❤ best wishes enjoy your day ps all the best to family members come on Jimmi 3:39

  9. Watched this the other day, it was painful, I switched it off and clawed my eyes out, there’s only so long you can laugh at that wig.

  10. That 3rd miss is so shocking for Jimmy. It's an easy shot even for an average amateur. You have about a 6-inch wide path to get the white in when the red is off the cushion about an inch like that

  11. I’m more surprised he’s not had a go at the ref or thrown the rest across the room, lol
