So jealous of my son and his friends! When I was their age, the first bevel-edged Disc was just introduced. I’d have had to have been born right next to Oak Grove Park to have the same opportunities they’re getting now. His one friend took such a liking to Disc Golf his Dad bought him a basket for his birthday. Now we have two of them to aim at in the neighborhood retaining pond field! They’re aiming at his from 150′ into the teeth of a vicious headwind following some really potent storms in Michigan last night. I think this might be one of the first days they actually set out to see what it’s like throwing their entire bag into a big headwind. They’re having a blast!

I didn’t gather them. They filtered down here on their own. In fact, I was pruning some trees near my basket (just out of view to the right) when they all gathered on their own volition out here like most mornings. They usually empty their bags three or four times before wearing out.

The future!
