Today I’ve got a top 50 DP tour player here. I’ve got Jordine. Jordine is a flusher. What we’re going for today is trying to beat Daniel Gavins, a good friend of Jordans. He shot minus 7 at Wheatly Golf Club. Can Jordine beat Daniel Gavins? Also there’s a course record a 65 minus 6. Can he beat that? On the tea Jordine can have a dabble. Um, so I always I’ll always pace it out to where I want it to land. Um, right. Majority of the time it is feel though, but it’s just so, you know, a bit of a backup. So, you’re pacing it out just for the yardage you want it to land. Yeah. I’m telling you now, how many people p it out or think when you pace it out, you’re looking for the landing spot. Yes, he’s doing that, but how many yards it is where you want it land? I’ve never This is a great gold nugget. It’s a massive gold nugget tip that Joel, what’s that? Because that you us amateurs, I’m looking now. Were you pacing it out? But really, we’re watching off tally, but you’re looking where you want to land it. Yeah. Think clock on. You’re registering the length where you want to land. Yeah. So, I mean, that’s the that’s the almost downside to bushels and stuff like that because you zap a flag and if you’ve got a wedging hand and it’s soft, you almost want to be 5 yards past it. So then you need to add five yards or obviously if it’s hard firm you need to be 5 10 yard short. So that’s why sometimes bushels aren’t the best and that’s why I think if the you know if the toss sort of go to say you can allow measuring devices I don’t think it’ll make a difference. If anything I think it’ll make it slower cuz people will zap it and then go to the books. So I think that’s why but this one’s not not that easy to be fair. No 25 yards. Is it right to left Joe? No. So, what happened were I had a wrist injury a few years ago. And couldn’t figure out what it was. Uh I can’t remember what manufacturer it were, but they said try try a plus4 grip. So, the same thickness all the way through. Uh problem with that is I found the grips a bit too spongy. So, I did midsize on a normal grip with two layers. within a week and a half, two weeks, no pain at all, nothing. Absolutely fine. Never had any golf going to be better. I’m funny you should say that because I showed my clubs, I showed Dan my grip. He went, “Oh, they’re too soft for me.” But anyone who’s a good player I’ve played with, yeah, these will be all straight and narrow when looking. Anyone who’s a good player, I’ve always said, “Oh, no. I like hard grips.” I Yeah. Uh I the spongy grips the problem is it feels like you know if you got some club head speed. Yeah. It it feels like it’s moving in your hand. Right. So a firm cord grip it just you know exactly where that club face is and what it’s doing. So that’s why that’s probably why the better players prefer. Yeah. Right. So we’ve gone from a little three foot downhill to probably what 15 two four five 18t uphill. But you’d rather put uphill wouldn’t you? Would you what? Rather put uphill. Uh yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Definitely. You can you can give it a bit more, can’t you? But obviously then you got to the line’s going to be a little bit straighter. It’s not going to break as much. So So it’s a public course here at Willie Park. That’s John over there on the greens.
