I found the cheapest golf balls at only 9.99 for a 12 pack. The name of the brand is INESIS by DECATHLON, it’s an eco-friendly French company, now also available in the US.

These golf balls are a little hard, but they have a good feel to, I was shocked by the data results when compared to the PROV1X.

My name is Erich and I live in Italy welcome to my channel. I used to play golf on and off for many years, but I started my journey again about 8 years ago, changing my swing completely.

My goal is to become a single figure handicap golfer in the near future.

To achieve this goal, I built my own backyard putting green and set up a backyard golf net. I love playing in my backyard green, doing drills, club reviews and playing at the range and at the course to get better at the game and ultimately reach my goal (hopefully).

All right, guys. So, welcome back to another video. So, today I’m going to be reviewing the cheapest golf balls that I ever seen. I went to Declone yesterday and basically there was this balls right here, Distance 100 Ines. Uh it’s a brand that is eco-friendly and it’s a uh they’re made in France and they’re also uh making some sales in America now, but by far they’re the cheapest. They’re basically uh I pay $8.99 for a 12-pack. So, this is the box right here. It’s a two-piece construction uh golf ball, and it’s eco design, and it’s only uh $8.99. And you can tell right here when you open the pack that they are basically all just together like this. Okay, so there’s no individual packs. And basically what they’re saying, uh this is a matte finish, so they’re not glossy. And apparently when you make golf balls glossy, uh, it costs more. So, I review a lot of two-piece construction golf balls, and the cheapest that you can get is for $19.99. So, this is half the price is still a twopiece construction golf ball. And I can tell you it’s a little hard. So, I’m not sure if you’re going to like it around the greens, but I’m very curious to test it with a driver. As you know, with a driver, uh, with a twopiece construction golf ball, you’re gonna lose a little distance, if you b your, uh, swing speed is over 100. So, if it’s 100 or more, you’re going to start losing some distance. And I noticed that with a lot of the two-piece uh, golf balls, I lost about six to seven yards. So, I want to test that. I’m going to test it against a Proby one, which is a four core golf ball. [Music] So, they’re a little hard to putt with, but I wouldn’t mind. I mean, it’s playable, I would say. Uh, not as hard as a top fly ball, I would say. and a little harder than the Proby 1X. It does roll pretty good. Uh I don’t think this is a bad bull. They make another model which is the Ines 500 which costs $1799 as opposed to $8.99. And basically it’s called the Ines 500 Soft. It’s still a two-piece bowl, but basically what’s inside is a little softer than than this right here. [Music] So definitely around the green, this is a ball that is going to roll a lot. So if you get this, remember that the core is a little hard. So, you have to play you have to uh play the green. It has to it’s going to roll. It’s not going to check as much, which is, you know, it could be good and bad depending on how you play your shot, but it’s going to have a little less spin than a premium ball. All right. So, it’s about 120 yards to the white uh flag over there. I have a 50°ree wedge. I’m going to be hitting three balls and I’m going to tell you how they feel. [Music] So, they feel a little hard, but they’re not that bad. Honestly, they’re not that bad. I did hit uh all three balls a little bit to the right. Uh I’m going to see I’m going to check the distance. There is a little bit of breeze uh coming in this way. And that was 120. I can normally carry like 110 to 120 with my 50°ree wedge. 115 probably. So there should be short. It was to the right. Should be right over here. So it looks like there’s one over here. It was 120 to there. So that’s about uh 10 yard short probably ines. Then there’s another one right here. The pin is right there. And just the other one is right here, which is very close. This one is about actually it’s kind of in line. I would say like five yard shorts. All right. So, let’s test them from grass. I have a 9 iron and to the pin there is 140 yards. So, with my 9 iron, I can normally carry from 135 to 140 145. Uh, these balls are a little hard, so I am expecting them to maybe go a little more, but I’m not I’m not really sure. They’re definitely not soft. So, let’s see. Okay, that one fell a little hard. I have to be honest. This one fell a little hard. I don’t know if you heard that, but it was like it’s a little little like a clicking sound there. slightly to the left. But it was good. Let’s see if we can get a better one. I think for me, if you don’t catch it off the sweet spot, it’s going to feel a little harder. I think that’s what it is. Okay, this was great. Good strike. So, I’m curious to see the distance on that one. a bounce and a roll probably I would say like four yards. Um, again, that one felt better because it was stroke on the sweet spot. If you don’t strike it on the sweet spot, it’s going to be like a little uh a little harder, I would say. Last one. Okay, nice little draw there. slightly to the left. Oh, that one looked really long. So, let’s go check them out. So, I’m getting close to the green. And actually, I think this was the first one. Probably roll like five yards. So, that was probably a carry of like 135. It was a mish hit to be honest. Um, then there’s a second one right there. That one probably carry the whole thing. Um, actually, no, it’s not this one. This is a range ball. Second one is here. So it pass the 140 mark and I think it roll probably there. So it probably carry 140. And the last one is over here slightly left. But this is quite long. So this one probably hit right there. So I would say like 145. So $8.99 for 12-pack. And actually they have pretty good distance. I think that’s due because the ball is a little hard, but you still get a two core ball. Uh, decent distance. The main thing for me, I think if you don’t strike it in the sweet spot, it’s going to feel a little clingy. It’s just going to feel a little harder than what it actually is, I would say. But if you catch it on the sweet spot, it’s going to feel it’s going to feel nice. Not not as nice as a premium bolt, obviously. But again, I mean, you’re going to be paying $9.99. And I mean with for 12-pack, that means that if you buy like a some pro ones, you could buy like four or five packs of these ones right here and you’re probably good for the whole season there. Uh so you have to think about that in my opinion. Uh especially if you’re one who loses a lot of golf balls. I think we’re going to test the driver, guys. But I think uh the distance is pretty good with the irons. It’s decent around the greens and putting. If the driver is decent, I mean, why not play with this balls? You will save a lot of money. All right, guys. So, I’m in my backyard now. I’m going to compare a brand new Ines ball with a brand new Pro1X. It’s a two-piece ball against a fourpiece ball. I don’t expect the Ines to go as far as the Pro1X. But if it’s like within 5 yards, I think it would be worth it. So, I will be testing it with the Mibo Plus, and I will be looking at ball speed, carry numbers, and spin numbers. So I’ll start first with the ines ball carry is 232.1 yard carry is 233.4 y ready carry is 245.6 carry is 237.0 ready. All right guys, so let’s have a look at the indices first. Uh average is 235.3 carry uh swing speed is 98.5 and bull speed is 146.3. Spin number is 2728. So, the feel was a little hard than usual. It’s not um didn’t feel like a rock, but it was a hard feeling on on on impact. I have to be honest. Uh this numbers are pretty good. Now, consider that I just got over, you know, I was really sick in the past few days, so I’m not in my top shape. I was only swinging it at about 90 uh 98 99 miles an hour. Now, let’s uh hit some balls with the Promon X and we’ll compare the numbers. Carry is 237.4. Carry is 232.1 y. Ready. Carry is 234.1 yard. Ready. is 24.6. All right. So, these are the numbers with the Pro 1X. Carry average is 234.3. Uh, swing speed 97.9 and ball speed 145.7. Um, I feel like probably I was a little tired coming into the second session. It could have been better maybe if I would have started with the Prov1. Uh but I did not notice that um the increase in um in ball speed or distance. Um and let’s see the spin numbers is 2575 and total distance is 242.4. So actually the ines ball did perform better than the probably 1x and I think the reason why is because it being a hard ball the ines is going to go a little farther. And I think though if I was in top shape, if I could get my um swing speed up to like 102 or 105, then I think that’s where we’ll see the Pro 1X getting some more distance in that sense. But for me, I feel like if it’s a uh two-piece golf ball, but it’s a hard go um golf ball, I think you’re going to get a decent distance. I think the problem is when you get a two-piece uh golf ball that is soft. In that case, you have to make sure that your swing speed is not too high because if it is, you’re going to start losing distance. So, this is quite impressive to be honest because the indices beat the ProB1X. Uh again, I’m not in my top shape right now. Um I just I would just caught some kind of virus. So, I’m not I’m feeling a little weak. So, I wasn’t swinging as hard as I used to. But uh nevertheless, you can see that the resorts are clear and the ines beat the Pro1X by a few yards and a few miles an hour uh 1 mile an hour ball speed and and two yards on carry distance. All right, guys. So, that was it for the review. Definitely surprising for the Ines to actually beat the ProB1 X. Um I think the reason why is because of the core. It’s a hardcore. Uh it’s not going to feel the greatest. I mean, if you around the green and the putting, it is uh hard. Not like super super hard like a rock, but definitely uh slightly hard. And actually, I don’t mind that at all. So, I feel like instead of wasting my money and two core uh golf balls that you can actually pay like $20 or even $35, I would just game these ones right here, which are really, really cheap. And then I would actually buy something really uh premium like a Pro1X or a TP5X or something like is in the top range instead of wasting my money on something uh middle range which actually is not that much difference than this one right here. So guys, it’s not a bad bowl. Make sure to check it out. Ines you can buy it at Declone. I think they’re coming out in America as well. So make sure to check out the website as Declon and the brand is Ines Distance 100. They have this one. They have the uh 500, which is the soft version of these ones right here, which is uh twice as much the price. But I have to be honest, I will prefer playing with these ones right here because they’re a little harder and you’re going to get a little more distance on your irons and on your drives as you seen on this video. So guys, I hope you enjoyed the video. Make sure to leave a like and don’t forget to subscribe to the channel. Thanks for watching guys. Until next time. [Music]

  2. I played some, 900 Pros this week, pretty good ball, felt very nice, good spin, good distance. I regularly play a prov 1 or X or TM Tour Response Stripe. Thanks
