Today on the next 100, we are talking a pet hate of mine and James’s. We both have struggled in recent weeks to say the least with holes just like this one right here. Today we’re talking about the fifth hole here at Lindri Golf Club because in recent weeks we’ve been playing Lynx Golf and we’ve had a lot of blind shots. And for me right here, aiming towards a post is something myself and James have seemed to struggle with in recent weeks over on his channel whilst we’re taking on a few fantastic golf courses in Scotland. But here, if we stand on the tea and I look up here, we do have a post. But for me, my eyes are drawn to the path. So I think that is the middle of the fairway. And trusting that marker has took me a while here at my new home golf club. And it certainly caught us out when we played here in the next 100, but it won’t if we play here again. Because just like in Scotland, if we’d have trusted a few of the marker posts that we know the green keepers, the greens committee put out in good faith, then we’d have probably scored a lot better. And for me, if I can aim over that now, we’ll have a much better chance. But yet again, my golf ball has wanted to follow that path. Hopefully, that’s okay. But I’ll show you where that marker actually is. Hi guys. If you are new to the channel, then welcome to our Sunday video. Welcome to a next 100 where we’re at one of the next 100 golf courses that I am now a member of and we’re starting to do some course management around here. I do have some new clubs coming and we will be filming around here a single ninehole scoring round for you and see how we get on. Did I get fitted for the wrong Taccomos? That’s a big question and a big talking point. But as we come up this hole right here, I come up the path, we start to see that this path is aiming straight up the right side of this hole into that roof. And in fact, here, as we should trust, is the middle of the fairway. Now, this is very reminiscent of what you will see in coming weeks on James Robinson’s channel. These copper 301 MB irons have certainly been through a lot of this kind of grass as I’ve not certainly found many fairways in recent weeks, but they’ve still performed pretty well. And even there out of that rough that is up over that bunker into the middle of the green and I’ve still got a chance even from a terrible lie. And although we played three rounds at three fantastic golf courses in Scotland in the farm foods proam we played crude bay we played Royal Abedine and we played trump international. We still didn’t trust some of those posts, but it’s come to our attention that we just need to believe that they are right because after all, they’re there for a reason. But it’ll be interesting when I get my new set of CBS from Tacomao. How will I score? And do you want to see that over nine holes or do you want to see it over 18 holes here at the open qualifying venue that is Lindrich? Again, the tea boxes are right at the back at the moment. And one thing I’m certainly sure of in recent weeks is that those 301, MB, and CB combo set do perform fantastically out of thick rough. I’m guessing they also perform well off the fairway. And hopefully after correcting myself and doing a little bit of practice in the last couple of weeks, we’ll be back in those fairways, if I can trust the line I pick. Not a bad put there at all.
