[Music] [Applause] [Music] Cam Smith is leading an all Australian team to glory here in Dallas. You know, I had pretty high expectations. Goosebumps. It’s exceeded all those expectations. [Applause] Ripper GC, the 2024 Lift Golf League Team [Applause] [Music] Champions. Reigning champions are Cam Smith’s Ripper GC. We’ve had a slow start to the season. Obviously winning it last year put a little bit of a target on our back. The Fireballs win three straight. That is some achievement. Yeah, it was a little bit disappointing, but at the same time, you know, it’s definitely driven me to to work hard, you know, make sure we get on that that winning track again. [Music] Our first live look at the blue monster here at Trump National Dorale. It’s time for round one of Live Golf Miami. One of the 12 players headed to Augusta National. John Ram a champion of the Masters, of course. It’s Breezy. The Blue Monster is as big a test as ever. How useful is this as preparation for the first major of the season? I think it’s enough. Every single shot is hard from the first T- shot to the last putt goes in on 18. This place could uh could put you in some pretty bad spots mentally if you let it get to you. I know. We knew it it was going to be tough. Yeah. Hope we been a good good last couple of days. Well, Super Saturday is well underway. There’s no way. There is no way. Through about four different breaks. That put of 84 ft. The second longest in lift golf history. Cream rises to the top in these conditions. Brutal. There’s no other word for it. This ripper who lead the way. Two over today. They lead the four aces by two. I’m happy that we’re on top. We need another solid one tomorrow. [Music] Our new leader, Bryson Dambo. Bryson is grinding beautifully out there. It’s his first birdie in 11 holes. Bars are worth their weight in gold. It was incredible. I made some awesome saves hitting that drive over the water on 16. Absolutely. Incredible. Phenomenal. I’ll take that. Championship Sunday should be magnificent once again. Reigning US Open champion Bryson Dambo will bring a twoshot lead into the final round. But if he glances over his shoulder, there are green jackets galore in pursuit. Dambo without a live golf league win in his last 20 events. Is this the day? Bryson with much more than he wanted for Boi. And that will test his patience. Get the game ready for master. Get ready. We’ve been looking forward to this championship Sunday because of the pedigree of the leaderboard that we have here. Major winners galore, but even tighter in the opening holes than we perhaps expected. An early mover today, Suan Hang has been Mark Leashman. Two under par. Been driving it really well all week. And that’s good news for Ripper GC as well. The Aussies. A slow start today for Cam Smith, the captain of Riper GC, but his response has been like a true major champion. And Ripper lead by five. Ripper GC, the reigning team champions looking for a first victory of 2025. Eagle for Matt Jones. Very impressive. Absolute dominance for the Aussies. have a day here. Ripper lead by 12 and Rippers grip on the team trophy is pretty secure. Here is one of their main men, Mark Leeman. This is the best iron striking I’ve seen Mark Leechman play in a long time. The underrated part of his game is his short game. Frustration for John Ram. He and Dishambo [Music] Phil no you are no are all faltering on championship Sunday and it’s Mark Leechman who is aiming for his first ever live golf league title it looks relatively plain sailing at the moment for Mark Leeman but there are some testing holes to come to get through 18 without dropping one and he really likes his chances A lead of two. Sergio Burmeister Schwarzel trying to chase down our leader. The thought process on this hole has been the same all week. Find grass. Have to find grass. This is right. There’s a bunch of little palm trees in there and it makes it very complicated with a second shot. Sergio. Well, if anyone can handle a low one that goes through the wind, he’s the man. Yeah. Low cut, please. Oh, please. Oh, this wonderful shot. [Applause] Just a magnificent effort at exactly the right time. So, this is Mark Leeman’s situation on 18. Get the mind right, baby. Let’s go. Yeah, he got it out. Threaded it through. That’s what he wanted. Well, well, well. It’s very rarely easy on Championship [Music] Sunday. Had a lovely little draw in there. That’s a nice shot. Roll quite nice. And that’ll leave the way clear for Sergio Garcia to get to five underpar with the 18th to play. He’s still in it fighting for glory. Sergio Garcia five under par and he only trails Mark Leechman by one. He’s having a long hard look at the leaderboard. Penny for the thoughts of this man Mark Lee going. He’ll be on the podium regardless as a winner with Ripper GC. The Aussie teamman with a par on 18 to stay at six under. [Music] Are you read it perfectly? He read it perfectly. What a great putt. The 41-year-old Australian Mark Leashman could now be a lift golf league champion in his own right. Wow. I’m not sure Sergio heard the roar here. He now needs a verdie. He’s got to find a fairway first. No, that’s in the same spot as Flee find himself. Yeah, I’m going to get He’s going to go to the busing green first just in case. Sergio has got a [Music] gap thickens. [Music] David go. You watch the Minecraft movie. That’s cool. Have a good rest of your day, M. But the chance I might win. It’s a perfect lie. I mean, it’s as good as being on the fairway. All right, buddy. See you shot and do it here. Commit to it. You got it. [Applause] Oh, that was inches from being perfect. It go. He had to take it on. It’s in the water. I think it went back in the water. The big Aussie can turn back from the practice green. Hold on. Congratulations for Mark Leeman. Good. Well done, mate. That was so good. It’s funny like you have weeks like I had in Singapore and felt like I was never going to hit a good golf shot again. Um, finished 51st. Obviously really excited to to win individually for the first time. So, yeah, over the moon. What a moment here for Mark Leash. But the 22nd individual winner in Live Golf League history. There won’t be many more popular than this man. Time to celebrate our team champions. Mark Leeman can stay where he is. A double celebration. Need a towel. That’s how wet I am. Have you seen Mark? Yeah, Mark should be wetter than me. We won. This course ate everybody up here this week. Not us. You had a fly balls flag ready to go again, did you? Yeah. I think we talked about it all through the week that the harder this place gets, the better I think it is for us. We we really enjoy it when it’s quite tough. And I think you’ve got the best player in the world when things get tough uh stood next to me here. And with Cam here as well, you know, Jonesy playing the way he is, it it’s not a surprise that we’re stood here holding this flag up that should be on that pin over there. This goes to show that we got something special and hopefully we can carry on this momentum, you know, heading into the second half of the season. Pop the rippers. [Applause] We need the wind to get up. [Applause]
