This is the last nine seasons games played. The Os took the lead yesterday two on nobody out first pitch, he destroys it and he is on pace to play 100 and 49 games this season. That’s really the key. He’s got to be so tired of hearing. I don’t even want to bring it up. But the facts right when he’s on the field, he’s one of the best players in the game. Let’s get into it. See if he’s made any adjustments , which minute adjustments, this guy when he’s right and he’s healthy. He’s one of the best players in the sport, one of the best defenders. He’s got the hard hit rate through the roof. He puts the team on his back. He does all the things a superstar type player needs to do to carry a franchise pause this and he’s been clutch, bring up the first two boards just soak this in slugging percentage leaders since the start of 2020. We’re working on five years, Aaron Judge Otani Trout, Yordan Bryce, Freddie Buxton, Soto Tucker Seeger. Those are the big boys weighted runs created. Plus hot. Change me to the next one. Waited runs, creative plus leader since June 23rd of last year, aaron Judge has got a 235 which is just ridiculous. And Then you got Vladimir guerrero Junior, Otani Bobby Witt Buxton and can tell Marte so when he’s right and on the field and I love him in center, we’ll get into the defense, one of the franchise, top players in the game and he’s been clutch this year. I’m gonna take you back over the last couple of days. Garrett Crochet. Let’s get the game. Everybody relax. Get the popcorn. No one, nothing. Byron Buxton took the, get me over heater from Garrett Crochet. I’m not waiting around for the nasty cutter and I’m gonna jump him. How about two nights ago on Tuesday 51. Let’s put the game on the ice in the bottom of the seven. Let’s get the twins hot and Then yesterday, boom Crush City down one, nothing in the bottom of the third. He hits a three run bomb and they go on to win this ballgame. So I just love what he does at the plate at the plate. Run this back for me real quick all the way right there. We talk about Bobby witt a lot. We talk about how Bobby kind of just kind of tweaks into that back hip. That seems to be a move. A lot of guys are doing. You see Jackson Merrill? There’s nothing going forward there. We’re not coming off this backside. This way, we’re almost talking ourselves into our back hip inside of our back knee and riding that out and hitting inside a phone booth. Nothing going forward. Let your swing, get you back to 5050. Watch him subtly continue. He’s got the front toe pigeon. He’s kind of leaking into that backside. You see it right there. He’s crunched up perfectly minimal stride. Almost nothing. Almost a two strike. He could probably spread out a little bit more and not move from that position. But for him, rhythm and timing wise that works. And I just love he gets them go pause this. Ok. So in 2022 this is the front angle. Wanted to see if he’s standing a little bit different. He was closed off a little bit more in 2022. Take a look at the back foot looking to drive the ball up the middle the other way or at least minefield versus real. Think big part of the field. A little bit more athletic. A little bit more squared up. Both work. He might tinker back and forth in 2022. All star hot as a pistol. That’s when he was in his, you know, at his best and healthy. So run this home. Show me that side angle, pause a little wider in 2022. Not crazy. Set up similar. He’s always been a guy who likes his hands high. I like, I like my hands high. You see matt Holliday talking about Jackson holiday, get your hands a little higher. I feel like when guys set their bat on their shoulder, if there’s not some type of psychological feel of coming down through the baseball, even though that’s not happening, I almost feel like you can get rotational this way, just having it on your shoulder and kind of your barrel pointing behind you. I like the thought of incorporating my top hand. You’re seeing Corbin Carol do that as well, but minimal difference. What, what I love about him, watch how short his stride is with the front foot run. This pause he’s done and now go stays behind the baseball big time power and we know he can run. So bring up the next board real quick players to rank in the 95th percentile or higher and hard hit percentage in sprint speed this season. It’s two guys. It’s Corbin Carroll and it’s Byron Buxton. Jeez. So let me steal him, let me see him steal a couple bags and that’s always been the key. Like how frustrating must it have been for Byron Buxton to deal with all these injuries? I know that certainly we get tired of bringing it up because we don’t that moniker, you can’t get out of it. But when he’s right and he’s patrolling center field, he can go get him with the best of them and he’s an electric factory. Really lights up the fans in that yard. He lights up his teammates protecting himself right there and Then this play, this ties the game. He don’t make that catch and he’s been absolutely fabulous for this team in the early goal. Minnesota Twins. We, we forgot about them early. They’re in a tough division. There’s gonna be a ton of teams battling this out. Robert.

He has to actually play a full season for once
USA outfield should have Judge, Betts, Tucker, Trout, Buxton, Jackson Merrill, Chandler Simpson to choose from.
When healthy he is one of the best of the game.
The Buck Truck!
He's a beast but he has so much trouble staying healthy.
I like Buxton but I cannot believe that he will play 149 games in a season until he actually does.
Buck is the one. I got to see Rickey play for the Billy Ball Oakland A's and I'm telling you Buxton is the most beautiful baseball player I've ever seen. The ability to get under balls that slower outfielders (everyone else) have to dive for. The best base-stealer. Ever. And the power in his swing. The eye test says what the numbers say — Buxton is THE power-speed man.
But… Buxton is also the saddest case of potential losing out to injury. Minor injury keeps him out for a bit, the team sends him out for a minor league rehab assignment, and he gets injured worse. It's been everything.
So all I want is a full season in centerfield, a full season without injury.
Look at what everyone else on the lists in this video makes. A healthy Buxton is the best bargain in baseball. There is a reason his contract has the incentive clauses that it does.
Keep that Buck truck rolling!
