Heat. Heat. About half an hour from the city center, the exclusive layout of New Korea Country Club, where conditions tested the best, but the defending champion showed her class. Cojuk Kim arrived in great form. That’s continued here so far. The world number eight has put herself and the team right in the mix. The standout player in team Kuska is Patricia Schmidt. The German one of just two players to shoot in the 60s. And the last winner on the 18 Pin Deor picking up where she left off in South Africa where she won alongside her teammates Ma Adi, Poly Mack, and Ellie Given. Team Deor in front but only by one. The team event should be concluded today. Delicor and Schmidt setting the pace in round one in the individual with Hoju Kim just a stroke her side along the pace of Darka. Very good afternoon. The Ladies European Tours globe trotting schedule continues in Africa, the Middle East, Australia. We’re now in Asia for round two of the Aramco career championship. This is the final tournament before the LE heads to Europe. And it’s not been a case of following the sunshine so far in 2025. We’ve had a bit of rain at Nuclear Country Club just half an hour northwest of Soul City Center. It’s proved to be a very tough test. Just six players breaking par on this par 72 just under 6,500 yd. The weather conditions well just as tricky today. Hard to believe prior to the start. We enjoy glorious sunshine here. It’s been a a soggy Saturday, but the rain has thankfully stopped so far and the wind speeds are down. I’m Richard Kaufman. Alongside me in commentary is Kate Burton. Kate, new identity. Slight change to the format for this year’s event. Oh, it certainly is. Yes. While it’s the fifth year of the series, it is the first as the newly elevated PIF Global Series. So, we have a significant increase in prize money. In fact, it’s doubled this week at the Ramco Career Championship. Still the team event, but it’s now four professionals. And we have a team event over 36 holes. That will finish today where the four professionals will have their best two scores on each hole to count. And they’re playing for a $500,000 purse. Now, tomorrow will culminate in the individual championship and uh the lion share of $1.5 million to the individual winners. So there is a lot at stake, life-changing opportunity for so many here on the ladies European tour. Yeah. And as you mentioned, the newly named PIF Global Series. This then stopped two of five played across three continents for a prize pool of $13 million. Two of which are up for grabs this week. Over the next couple of days, we had the PIF Saudi Ladies International in Riyad. Here we are in Korea. We’ve got the UK, the US, and China still to come later on in the year. So, let’s check out the order of merit, shall we? This event seven of the season, the last event before we move off to Europe in English one, two at the top of the leaderboard, but Mimi Roads at the moment in danger of missing the cut here. So, maybe a chance for someone to close the gap. Not Cassandra Alexander, unfortunately, the South African who’s in third out with a knee injury, but Cara gain is up there. Pine Delicor in the lead overnight. She could only move though with a win from sixth to second. So play got underway just before 10 this morning and there’s been plenty going on. Let’s start with the the tournament favorite. Dropped a shot at the second. Yeah, it was around a 70 yesterday for Hoju Kim. Only six players under par but got one back there. That was a birdie at the sixth hole to rejoin the lead at two under par. Now there’s a team full of just amateurs and they could actually win the team event and Siojin Park the world number 56 amateur is putting together a fabulous individual round. She’s just birded the 15th and the 16th on the green at the par for 18. This to try and turn in 33 up the hill. It was a really decent effort, but she is now one under par individually, which is just one shot off the lead. Yes, and we know about the depth of talent on the Korean tour, but the Korean amateurs as well, they could certainly pack a punch. And that was on the hardest hold of the golf course all week, the 18th. A bogey, triple bogey start today for Jinny Ding, who unfortunately is going to miss the cut, but could still be part of a winning team alongside Hyoju Kim. It certainly helps having Hoju Kim as part of your team. And then if you can Oh, good spot if you know that was Daniela Darka from Ecuador and a lovely splash out from the bunker. That also the second at the seventh hole. Yeah, all pars so far for Daniela Da. Hu Kim then getting into a share of the lead at two under par. This was to put her out in front on her own and he needed a few more rolls of the ball to pick up a birdie too. But level path for the day. Plenty of support once again out there despite the poor weather. Giny Ding then with her birdie try. Unfortunately, not to be for the player from Hong Kong, but uh there’s no doubt scoring today is a little bit easier. I think the players may be getting used to the the damper conditions. Annabelle Wilson, the rookie from Northern Ireland, is four under for the day. She started the back nine birdie par birdie birdie to move into that share with Kim Da Pin De Laor the overnight leader did get to four underpar but she had a double bogey at the third and you can see some other players going well the doa for three under par for the day and Annabelle Wixon part of team spits she actually was at UCLA with Emma Spitz and they are heading the way at 16 under par running out of holes. Michaela Finn and Maggie Simaka making up their four. So, let’s check out which groups we’ll be keeping an eye on. I know Sophie out again with Hoju Kim who’s playing with Ding and Clots and the co-individual leader Daniela Darka. Another players to feast your eyes on this team. Kuskova featuring Vanna Navarosa, Patricia Isabelle Smith, and Leanne Pace. Seasoned professional Leanne Pace. So that team also very much in the fray. Yeah, they were second overnight. And there’s the overnight leaders Pin Delaw sixth on the order of merit out with Ma Adwi. They made a friendship together in Australia. did Maha and Perne Polymack the big hidden German and Ellie Given making up their four. So this is the par for ninth Ju Kim on the tea. Well, good afternoon. The rain has stopped. The wind is down. This is soft as well. And Hoju Kim finding another center of the fairway. There’s a good 3 400 people out watching her today. She looks very relaxed, doesn’t she? Yoju Kim and these two have been the the force in in this group. Kim and Dark A bunker’s in play both left and right here at 225. Not getting an awful lot of run on the ball. Not when it’s this wet underneath foot. Sophie, it looks like it’s raining a little bit less. Or are we being a bit too optimistic here in the box? It’s not raining at all, K. From 2:00 onwards, it’s supposed to not rain. But there’s plenty of water under foot this golf course playing at 6,500 yd, but it will play every inch of that. Oh, just skirts out of the bunker there for Clots. There has been a lot of drizzle. It’s a gray day. When you think at the beginning of the week, it seems a long time ago that you couldn’t find a cloud in the sky. Absolutely stunning. Now it’s a real test. I suppose you got to look at the the positives in that Kate that these greens running at 12 on the stimp. Everyone was saying how firm they were. Well, they’ve softened up. Saw a shot by Hoju Kim into the last hole at pitch front edge and it stopped. So there’ll be a sense of being more aggressive with your approach shots. But you must find the fairway cuz there’s only one cut of rough and it’s thick and it’s wet. It’s certainly long this golf course as you have seen from those T-shots. Nobody getting any run at all and especially when several of them are uphill with the second. Yeah, this is a perfect hole to see what this golf course is like. Elevated T all the way downhill for the T-shot and the second all the way up the hill. Olivia C. This is not her final hole today. She started at the 10th, but it’s the hardest hole on the golf course. It’s been very difficult. Just an iron today for Olivia. Was a birdie here today. We didn’t have one yesterday. Helen Bream managed a birdie. Bream is actually three under for the day and only just outside the top 10. But it can be done. There wasn’t a single birdie at 18 yesterday. There you go. Confirmation of yesterday playing at 4.62. 62, which I think by the end of the season will be in the top three for the hardest holes on the ladies European tour all campaign. Yeah. And also, it’s not an opening couple of holes either. The sec the first hole being the second hardest. So, it’s very easy to let the score get away from you early on in the round. This player, she looks very relaxed indeed. She won here last year, Kate, and she really wasn’t in the best of form. This year she arrives in wonderful form. So she was always going to be the favorite at the start of the day and still as it looks the standout player in that time with her experience being a major champion, being a multiple winner. Remember she very nearly won the Chevron Championship a couple of weeks ago in the States out of contention in that five-way playoff where Mala went on to win. But she said, “I feel confident about defending my crown.” That’s a bold statement putting that out there. Cut line by the way at the moment sits at six over par. So Carman Alonzo is right on it. She’s just had an eight at the 17th and now having to try and get up and down here at 18. I I would be surprised if the cut stayed at six over par though. You would think it would drift potentially to plus seven. But she’s having a tough time with things right now. the Spaniard. Remember the team event concludes today. There is a caveat unless we have a playoff. At the moment, team Spits have got four holes left to play and they are going great guns. Team captain Emma is playing super but her pick Annabelle Wilson is on fire for underpar for the day. They’re also playing with Michaela Finn of Sweden and McMackis Zimmer. There is Wilson in that now fiveway share at the top of the leaderboard. The individual will conclude tomorrow at this Aramco career championship. all these players very much in the mix when you think leader is at two under pass. So, we’ve got all these players that we’re looking at now. Goes down to 21st place, separated by just three shots, including Lexi First, fourtime winner on tour. Been a difficult start to the day for Liam Pace. Played so nicely yesterday, the 11time champion. Three bogeies, no birdies for her. Pier Babnick was going really well. Well, she was three under par for the day, but has slipped back to even for the round now. And San Hun Park, you saw there, two under par for the day. I’m sure the Nambellas out there on the course are getting very excited. The amateurs putting in a fine effort as well. Juan Choy not quite as good as her teammate Siojin Park, but still very much in the mix. Let’s join Olivia Cowan now at 18. Lot of green to work with here for Cow. And it’s a green that slopes from back to front. Wet sand. Will be able to get spin on this. Oh, needs spin. Caught that a bit too cleanly. And that’s going to be quick. Did you see that her her boyfriend’s in contention on the uh the DP World Tour? They’re playing in Turkey this week. Talking about Todd Clemens. Difficult year, if you like, for Olivia because she hasn’t got her full playing rights on either the LPG or the Ladies European tours. Yeah. Which doesn’t make it easy. You’re playing with that air of uncertainty. So, we’ll be relying on a number of sponsors invites. I mean, she’s a good player. She’s super solid. And she played last year. It was Billy Horell, wasn’t she? She played within the PJ championship. Yeah. In the pro. She was the AM. Yes. She was the amateur. A very good am to have. That was in September last year at Wentworth. And you say, “Believe in yourself. You are good. You are good enough.” And for an awful lot of these golfers, it’s all about having that self-belief. Chloe Williams has the self-belief because she won this year on tour. So that was well, she won a a an event back in the UK. So that was a good win for her. And that’s all about the confidence that she needs. She’d love a birdie here on 18. This would certainly help. And it’s looking very good. No birdies yet today for Chloe Williams. So close to a first right there. We’re at the ninth with co-leader Hoju Kim. This is a a hole where you got to be on the right side of the flag. Yeah, funny enough, she’s found the middle of the fairway. She is That is well okay that threw us for a moment there. That’s just gone through the green but um she’s a player that does just doesn’t miss fairways. It’s going to be very quick from up there. Bit of a mistake from Shoju Kim but looks like it’s going to be a very awkward spot for Arian Klots. Back to that in a moment. Now Darka has been going along extremely well. Looking though for her first birdie of the day. It’s been a string of pars up until this point. But there’s a good opportunity right there. Nice shot into nine. It’s very congested on the leaderboard. Fiveway tie at the top. 21 players separated by three shots. See the big bunker in front of the green? It’s shaped like that on purpose because it represents the uh the map of Korea. So, where would we be right now in that bunker? Yes, we’re kind of we’re smack bang in the middle, aren’t we? We want to be in the middle of that bunker playing up to that flag if I’m honest. But yeah, we’d be in kind of where it narrows in. Yes, we’re in Seoul this week. Slightly easier shot to the other green. So, yes, you’re not seeing double. This is a golf course, a highly exclusive golf course here at New Career Golf Club. Then they have winter greens and that is the winter green back at 18 putting this even though it’s looks rather sticky through those uh cuts of rough and that’s not too bad from there for Olivia Cowan had that left for a par three over I mean you’re only five shots off the lead yet you’re in a tie for 36. Yes it’s so congested. We’re going to see lower scores today that’s for sure. the course. The players are getting used to this course and as we join Sophie, she knows that the greens aren’t as fast as they have been throughout the course of this week. Well, this ninth green, Kate, I mean, it is fast because it is steep from back to front. And that was a misjudgment there by Yoju Kim going through the back of the green. We mentioned yesterday how this hole is like a big dipper at a theme park and I don’t think she judged the downwind. There is just starting to be some downwind here on mine. So through the back playing partners are all on the green. Furthest away here is Jinny Dong. She was coming out of the roof on the right hand side from 100 jars. Just had to hack it out onto the green. So she’s left herself a put up the tier, a slow one from right to left for her birdie. Hard to give it enough, but Jenny has done just that. He’s just not that one. It have been a case of ding-dong, wouldn’t it? After after what she got called by Sophie there. crowds, isn’t there? There are right flank. There’s a good reason. Yeah, with Hoju Kim here. I wonder if Sophie has got the uh the cap yet or any of the uh paraphernalia that goes with the shooting stars. Red and white. That’s my team color. So maybe I could be Kate. This one is awkward. She’s got away this about eight feet right of the pin. Stun it into her spine and have it released out of the hole. You know, that was an interesting choice of shot that she took there. You noticed she used the wedge and uh but you know bladed it on purpose because then gets a little bit more top spin and uh you see that quite not too much. You’d actually like to see it a little bit more. It’s quite creative. It certainly helps with that top spin and getting the ball rolling online. Needs to hold this to stay the right side of the cut line. Carmen Alonzo. Yes. Well, that’ll make you feel better when you had an eight at the previous. The smile’s back. Well, kind of back for Carmen. Took a big chunk of last season out, was suffering mentally and uh decided to sit things out for a wee while. So good to see her back. A fantastic shot from the left hand side from the ups slope. 115 yd sets up this 12footer from right to left for a three. Knew straight away. Scared of it. Yeah, knew straight away was not going to get there. Finished nicely to the round yesterday after a lot of struggles. two rookies in this group plots with Jinny Ding and both really suffered particularly on the front nine yesterday and Vanam one of those who seems a long way back but in reality isn’t team Vanam very much in the mix as Well, at the moment they’re tied for seventh on the leaderboard, but only four shots behind the leaders team spits in the team event. To remind you, the best two scores amongst the four count towards the team score. So, Vanam may have missed her birdie, but there is an opportunity still for Ayaka Uara here to cash in. Great little short game from Aayaka Oara, but misread that putt. She’s going along nicely. She was under par at one point yesterday on the back nine. One over right now. Was she 42 now? Yeah. Yeah. There’s a team of veterans. Anne Vanam at 29 is very much the youngster in that one. They’re just behind these teams here. Team Spits with four holes left to play. Annabelle Wilson who’s having a fantastic day with Michaela Finn and Maggie Zimmer at the moment setting the pace from team Houston. Darcy Harry the Welsh rookie Alexandra Swain from the Virgin Islands and Dortea Vorri of Norway. There’s a cosmopolitan team if ever I heard one. Well pronounced as well. Just say it with conviction. They as you know get away with it. Back to nine. Served us well. Well, this would serve Darko well if we’re if she were to pop this in. Good shot in. There’s going to be movement on this from left to right, but this to get to three under par and this to take control of the lead. Oh, and she Oh, that was close. Grazing the right edge. Nine straight PS, Kate, but it is one of those golf courses that 18 will not harm you. No, that mean the lowest round that we’ve seen since the championship began last year is a 67. So, nobody’s been able to tear up the golf course completely. Greens are its best defense, which gives you an idea of how well Annabelle Wilson’s playing today. Four under par with four holes left to play. This is a tricky part for Hoju Kim. There’s just enough in it to get you thinking. Now, there there isn’t a player here this week that gets up and down better than Hoju Kim. So, if this didn’t go in, it would be a very big surprise. Yeah. Never in doubt. Straight in the middle. She is number one on the LPGA strokes game from 50 yards in 50 yards in she gets up and down more than anybody else right now given her current form. Well, that means she stays in a a tie for fifth like the pie piper, isn’t she? With the crowds following behind and they’re interesting to the other side of the clubhouse to the 10th T. you could see where they’re going to head, but they’re all ages, but there’s a lot of them who are in their 40s, their 50s, and they have the banners that say shooting stars. They have the baseball caps. They have all sorts of memorabilia and paraphernalia. It’s um only in Korea would you have this much of a fanfare around the players. So, the world number eight alongside Annabelle Wilson, Danny Ella Dark, Patricia Schmidt, and Finine Deacor. Plenty of experience there. You know, I showed you a a major winner. Dela core and plenty of LPJ experience. Patricia Schmidt has won once on the le that was in Belgium in her rookie year a couple of years ago. And Wilson really only turned pro in September. Made her ladies European tour debut at the Women’s Irish Open which is in a an earlier slot this year in the heart of the summer in the UK and Ireland. When when is that for summer in the UK and Ireland? Actually, it’s been very nice in in recent weeks. Let’s have a look at this hole then. Okay. Well, this is another elevated tea on 10 and you’re playing down the chute. It’s a short par four. Those bunkers left and right. Well, you’re not really going to head into those unless you’ve tugged it or sliced it. So, straight down the middle will work well. You actually want to leave yourself a full wedge in. And we’ve seen a number of players actually go too far down the fairway. They have an awkward lie and they have to navigate that tree, that lone tree that finds itself in the middle of the fairway. But where the pin is today, it’s at the front. There it is. Five paces on right in the center. So with the green sloping from back to front, you can try and be aggressive with these greens that aren’t as firm as they have been, but we’re not looking at many players taking a driver. And Darka is an example of that. Looks like the 3-wood to lay up short of the bunkers. Hidden at the pylon in the distance. Blind T-shot dog leg left to right. There’s not too many tournaments where two underpars leading in the heart of the second round. Yeah, looking at the stats, this was one of the hardest tournaments on tour. The DLF Golf and Country Club is number one in India, but this was number two. 243 gets you into the bunker on the left. 260 to the bunker on the right. So, it’s in play with driver. No problems there for Ayan Clots. straight down the middle. Yeah, for for Jenny Ding and Arian Clots, it’s all about the team now. The cut line looks to be beyond them. Here are some of the shooting stars. They’re missing their hats and their banners, though. We let you can see some in the distance there. The burgundy baseball caps. I did see Kate. I saw a man with um a photographer. He’s part of the fan club and Hoju had signed the lens on top of the the camera. So, uh yeah, there’s some very keen beans out here. They’ve uh come out in the drizzle early on and now the the wind’s picked up. So, this one’s downwind and they’re all drying off, but you hear lots of good shots for all of these players, not just Koju. Also a layup here short of the bunkers straight at the pylon in the distance which you can just see now. So it shows that it’s clearing up this weather. Yeah. Ventry down the left hand side for Jinny from Hong Kong. Plays out a Hong Kong golf club. Fanling for those of you who have been there who’ve been to the Hong Kong Open, one of the oldest sporting events in Asia. played at the same golf course every single year. It’s only the Hong Kong Open and the Masters, isn’t it? Both played at the same course every year. Driver is the option here for Hojuk Kim. Number one in par four scoring on the LPGA Tour this year. Shouldn’t reach the bunkers even with this club. Yeah, she’s also number one in round four scoring, too, which is ominous. Well, that’s fine. Just coming up short of the bunker. Number one in uh four scoring, number one on the LPJ tour rankings as well. Top of the race to CME. And not much to critique really when it comes to that swing, is there? There really isn’t. It’s just a swing of beautiful rhythm. Oh yeah. Gosh, I know. At least it’s not raining. Yeah, at least stopped finally. Oh, Danella, we’re live. Actually, we’re having a lovely little chinwag. Janella was just finishing her sandwich just you got to eat around the golf course now. It’s lovely to speak to you for the first time. And I believe you’re actually Oh. Oh, we’ve got a man down. But we’re all right. We’re gonna carry on. Here we go. We’re gonna carry on. You’re actually the first player from Ecuador to compete on the L and the LPGA. It’s amazing stuff for you and your country. Yeah, absolutely. I’m so proud to be Ecuadorian. Uh I I’m just so blessed to be able to represent them here in this uh tours, you know. What is the golfing landscape like in Ecuador? Cuz I can imagine it being quite a niche sport back when you started playing golf. Absolutely. It’s uh not a very popular sport, honestly. for me. I’m trying to get it as popular as it can. Hopefully I can see more girls getting on tour. You know, we had a little giggle there. Um, also as well, you know, what was it like actually when you first got into the sport? Who got you into the sport? Was it any family member or you had a role model yourself? Yeah, my uncle used to play. Uh, my parents didn’t play at all. Uh, my uncle uh helped me get in the game and I think it was wonderful. I was super young. I was like four years old. So, my parents were very supportive of that. So, that was nice. Do they play now because of you? My mom plays now. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And also it’s your first season on the le so welcome. I know you played a bit on the LPGA too. Um what brought you to the le because I know you love to travel and you wanted to explore new places, didn’t you? Absolutely. I mean I’m loving uh the traveling part of this tour. We’ve been to wonderful places this week here in Korea. I’ve been having a blast, you know, trying lots of different foods and like I’m just so blessed to be able to see the world, you know, just playing golf and seeing the world. Absolutely. You got lovely skin as I’m sure you’ve made a trip to Olive Young as well. Everyone’s done this. Absolutely. Yeah, Olive Young. That’s it. Great to chat and continue playing well. Thank you, Daniela. Well, that was rather eventful, wasn’t it? Hopefully, uh, our camera operator is high. Maybe a little bit wet. Well, hang on. It can’t be the camera operator because we lost picture. So, who actually fell down? Gabby’s going to have to fill us in there because that we haven’t seen many times. Oh dear, that was great. That was very, very good. And Olive Young, for those of you wondering, is um a beauty store here in Korea. That is I hope you’re all getting a discount for these mentions cuz I don’t think they’re part of the sponsorship of the uh of the event itself. But yeah, 20% I would hope for that. I haven’t got that yet. I wouldn’t mind. Daniel Kang this for a birdie, but a miscue there from the American. Maybe not one of the favorites going into this tournament, but very popular in Korea, very popular with the sponsors. Always got an opinion. Danielle might not always agree with it, but she does have an opinion. Major champion as well, an LPGA winner. First time today looking at Patricia Schmidt, the co-overnite leader. This is at the par 58. One birdie, two bogeies so far. One of three Germans inside the top eight. Aiden Crower and Pololly Mack, the other two, but that’s come up just a little shy. Back to 10. Well, down the right hand side. Oh, that’s a good that’s lovely. Good distance control as well to that front pin on 10. This second shot down the hill here. It plays a couple downhill and downwind. So Hoju has got 92 yds pin, but there’s a spine at the front of this green front right of the pin that needs to be avoided. If it hits that, it can kick on through. So, we’d like to pitch this at least pin high and towards the left hand side, quite close to where Dark’s ball is. Gap wedge. Had a look. Well, the radar’s working. Okay. Well, just showing her capabilities here, Arian, of how far she can hit the ball. This is fiddly though from just outside 70 yards. Can’t get the height when it’s just a 3/4 shot. Lob wedge trying to get some action on it. She’s a big strong girl. Arian Clots. Oh, didn’t get action because unfortunately that landed on the down slope for the French woman. And sometimes if you do get that far down, it can be a bit awkward, Sophie. Yeah, absolutely. It gets steeper as well. And this tree that sits in the middle of the fairway is not easy. Ding is going to have to go over this. The angle’s good other than the tree. 72 y higher flight. Hoping that might move back down the slope. Well, we’re getting better pictures now, aren’t we? Cuz the cameramen aren’t falling over now on 10. Well, it’s a you know, it’s a tricky job that doing the walk and talk because you’re you’re especially on a course with the elevation changes we’ve got here when you’re walking backwards down a slope on wet grass as well. I think it is one of those where eventually it was bound to happen. Yeah. And they both fell. So you have the cameraman and then you also have his Well, he probably took him with him, didn’t he? Yeah, they both went. I mean, well, Gabby did very well to hold that interview together. So did Daniela Dara as well. That was that’s one for the highlights certainly at the end of the year. This is Pere Delor. You can see the team the overnight lead now just one bat, but they have a lot of holes to play with it. you would still make them the favorites, albeit they’re only one ahead of uh team who are a whole ahead of them. That’s going to give a good birdie look. Fourinhu birdie the second then threw a double bogey in at the third. Well, this is what it looks like in the sunshine. New Career Country Club hosting this Aramco career championship for the second year in a row. Team spits out ahead in the team event, but they are running out of holes. You would think they need to at least pick up a couple more shots. Annabelle Wilson, the rookie from Northern Ireland in a five-way tie in the lead, which includes the 2014 Evian Championship winner, Hoju Kim. Yeah, plenty of Germans there. Four now inside the top 10 because Helen Bream is on a charge. She like Annabelle Wilson now four underpar for the day. Five birdies, one bogey for both those players minus four for the day. Seline Erban is three underpar for the round. So the French player bogey free started at the 10th making a nice move inside the top 10. So many players in the mix. Remember two underpar is leading 21 players all of these included and Kiara Tambellini last year’s number one on the LD within three of the lead Kiara Neuer and Lexi Fling and Lara Fuk all up there. So that what’s I make it six Germans in the top 25. So certainly a good day for Germany. Sunken Park having a much better day, isn’t she? Big big for her to just make the cut for tomorrow. And looks like she’s going to comfortably do that now. And let’s hope so because coming into this week had missed eight consecutive cuts. Has been bedevil with a wrist injury. So that hasn’t helped with her resurgence back up the world rankings. Amazing to think she was world number one. And then this week, Sunny Park is outside the top 700. Cutler mark at the moment sits at six over par. So all those uh players comfortably inside. Unfortunately, Arian Klopps is not one of them at plus 10. But if she can find a good back nine, you never know. set up. Well, these greens were faster at the beginning of the week. You can see that they are beautiful to putt on. The man on the uh right hand side there in the glasses on the dark glasses there with the the beard is Juan Sukkim who’s the Korean PGA president enjoying the action here at New Korea Country Club. Yeah, the women’s game in Korea is actually bigger than the men’s game. Yeah, it was very well as we watch this birdie opportunity for Hyoju Kim at 10. Now, this is great. This is a big moment for Hyoju. This will be very, very handy indeed if it were to go in. But that well was to take the outright lead on three underpar. I heard yesterday that at this club, the new career golf club, the women pay more for their subs each year than the men do because they play the golf course more. I’ve never heard of that anywhere else. 150,000 not cheap. The men play pay slightly less dollars or dollars. Okay, cuz Korean change that would have been cheaper. that this course midweek is plenty of women on the golf course. Yeah. So, no birdie for Koju Kim to get to three under par, but an opportunity for Daniela to do so. Two under par remains the mark. The par run continues 10 to start what has been a fairly soggy Saturday so far for the Ecuadorian. You want to try and break that run with a birdie rather than a bogey. Although the bogeies are easier to come by around this golf course. All right, Patricia Isabelle Smith. One of the leaders on two underpart. Here she is. Her approach is nine all the way up the hill. Don’t want to be above the hole. Long is wrong. Jesus. Oh, it’s going to be a putt that moves from right to left. It’s just not easy on nine. If you could be directly below the hole with a straighter putt, then you’ve got your best chance, but still a share of the lead for Schmidt. Just some tidying up to do for a couple of the co-leaders. First, Jojo Kim remains minus two. Just the one birdie, one bogey so far from the world number eight’s winner of the four championship at the end of March. Beat Lilia Vu in a playoff after shooting a fabulous final round 64. Looked like she was heading for a similar number on Sunday actually in the event at the Black Desert Championship. She was seven under through 10 holes, but in the end had to settle for a 66. Team Kim just outside of the mark at the moment. You can see team Houston have joined team Spitz at the top of the leaderboard. So 16 underpar still the mark. We do have a team as well that are full of amateurs. So the four amateurs in the field have all been put together and they’re going very nicely as well. And earlier in the day they had a chat with Gabby. So I’ve got team Soji Park with me and Soji, you’re going to be speaking on behalf of the team, but just quickly, what does it mean to be playing in a tournament like the Aramco career championship? Um, actually it’s fun to play as a team because like we could get more closer to each other and yeah, so I think it’s a good opportunity to play in this Aron Team Championship. It certainly is. What’s the experience been like for all of you? Um, I think like we are more getting closer and like we get some more good opportunities to make some more good shots or like good playing skills or like those kind of things. Yeah, absolutely. It’s been given you really good experience what it’s like to be a professional golfer. So, what are your career ambitions and has it given you a real taste of what it’s like to or what tour life is like really? Um, actually it’s my second time this year to play in this championship. So, I think Aramco Championship is a very good tournament and the course is so good and the tour system is so good. So like in the like future I could I want to play in the tour too. Yeah. Absolutely. And and what about the others? You’re teaming up against some of the best in the world. That’s a really good opportunity, isn’t it? Yeah, I think so. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Well, best of luck. Not that you need it. You’re playing very well out there. And yeah, keep the team spirit high. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Well done. Thank you so much. Anything about the uh the team of amateurs is they can’t win any of the prize money that’s up for grabs. Let’s move to 11. Tell you what though, they play with enough of the um KPJ events. They’ve got lots of experience. Clever shot from Hoju. All slopes from left to right on 11. Well, her swing is rhythmical there. You can see not getting beyond parallel or just slots into place so beautifully and playing with a huge amount of confidence. Sees the shot takes it on. Lot to like about Hoju’s swing, isn’t there Sophie? Yeah, it’s pretty much perfect and it’s plain. 148 5 yds downhill. Want to be pitching this eight short of the flag and to the left of it. It captures a gradient and moves closer to the hole. Yeah, again Kim and Daniela have good looks to come to try and get to three under part. Back to nine where Patricia Schmidt looks to get to minus three. Trying to break free as well. Six players locked on two under par. I think these players must be scratching their heads because you couldn’t leave a part short this week. earlier in the week, Monday, Tuesday, and several players were like, I am scared over a three-foot downhill p. You know, there’s just no way of stopping it apart from it hitting the hole to the core. Another one looking to get to three under. It seems like there’s a glass ceiling at the moment at minus two. So many putts from various players to get to three under par. Nobody able to make them. Here’s another attempt. Well, I’m not sure it was worth seeing again, but anyway, we did. on nine left. Yeah, third. Ma Maha Dwey on her approach shot into the ninth hole. 139 yds. It plays severely uphill. Players actually can’t see the bottom of the pin here, which is difficult and you can’t quite judge where to pitch it. She’s got a settle down. That is going to be slippery from back there. Amy Balden following team Deacor. Mah Adwick playing with Pin. Polly Mack who just birded that par 58 not only to take a share of the individual lead but also a share of the team lead as well. Y for team Delicor. So a big pole from her at the last. Amy, I don’t know if you saw it. We didn’t get a chance. I did. I’ve been following this group for the last few holes and I’ve got to say Polymack, how far she hits it is so impressive. I mean, she’s not going to have far into this ninth hole at all. Ellie Given, well, just playing her approach. I can tell you, Amy, she says she averages 270 yards off the tea, but that’s 270 yards carry off the tea. Oh, and look forward to seeing her striper driver. Now, deour 119 yds. Just a pitching wedge for Perin. One over for a round so far today. wants to keep this one below the hole. Just tugged it left a fraction there. It’s going to release back off that slope. So, how how far has Polymac hit this one off the tea then? Well, she’s only got 102 yards. So, she’s hit this just under 290 y off the tea. I mean, it plays a little bit downhill from the tea box. You’re not getting much. Still a huge drive. I remember watching her play one of her very first events on the ladies European tour. Pretty much not just on home saw in her home city of uh Munich. And she hauled out from the fairway to finish the tournament and finish in fourth place. That wasn’t the best of wedges in from her though. Disappointing when you hit it that far down the te and then you leave it that far from the hole. Yeah, it’s a huge weapon to have the distance. I mean, that’s what everybody’s chasing these days. You don’t find on the men’s tour if you’re under 300 yards, you’re short off the tea. But it is enormous advantage and then oh you let yourself down with an average wedge. Let’s go to the other side of the golf course. There’s the 11th green pictures little par three. There’s different shades of green. Better than shades of gray. Hey Sophie, sometimes. K. Sometimes it is. It’s beautiful out here. I must admit the uh the colors, the purples and the the deep reds of the trees. Today though, it feels quite autuminal, not springlike. Um both Jinny and Arianne, they’ve going to make par quite comfortably here. And they’re two team leaders, as I’m now going to call them, have both got nice birdie locks here from below the hole. dark air first to go. This one will move from left to right and keep it outside the hole to 10 paths in a row. This would be a nice one to drop. This back line is certainly easier than the front. similar very similar to her p on the last screen just coming up a little shy. The greens were running so fast in the buildup to this event in the sunshine. They were firm, they were hard. Then we’ve had this deluge of rain for 24 hours plus and naturally it softened them up and slowed them down. I would say that that’s the hardest adjustment. I don’t think professionals get a big enough credit for how well that they change green so easily. This one shouldn’t have to worry about the pace. It’s downhill. also from left to right for a two and again a little bit short two under remains the mark I mean it’s been there since we’ve got come on air what almost an hour ago now yeah this is a better nine though for Hoju Kim came back in three under yesterday 33 it was for Hyoju yeah she had that run from the 12th hole so her her favorite bit of the golf course coming up. Yeah. Yeah. 37 back in 30. Darka very much holding her own but looking for the first birdie of the day. Could we see the first player from Ecuador win on the ladies European tour? Yeah. Winner at Q school. Why not? Let’s check out how things look in the team event. Team Delicor now with that birdie from Poly Mack at eight in a share of the lead in the team event with Alice Husid’s team winner last season in Switzerland with Darcy Harry, Alex Swain and Dortea Forbri. They’re all going along nicely particularly Forbrick today who is three under par for the round and as you can see in seventh position on her own, one behind that sixway tie that we have at the top of the leaderboard. Must be something in the uh the air in Germany. Kiara Neuer packs a punch. Helen Bream we know is a a thumping hitter as well. Pololly Mack may just outdo them all. Yeah. You you wonder sometimes because they’re longer players that uh bit like Lexi Thompson that they have grown up playing with their brothers who are also golfers. Pier Babnick being another golfer who’s grown up with her brothers trying to keep up with them. So are they brothers or were they in the junior section at their clubs where they were, you know, pounding against the the boys? Because generally that’s where you get your distance from. Well, there is Pier Babnick who you just mentioned and Kiara Neua as well who we just mentioned amongst that group who are within four of the lead. Sankun Park still ticking along nicely and there’s a couple of the amateurs at plus two as well. Seg Park unfortunately has slipped down a little bit after what was an excellent start. Juan Choy also going along well. Yeah, just running through the scores and you never know, one of these players could uh make a little bit of a run and suddenly they are very much close to the top. Day two of this Aramco career championship. And here is Shuju Kim at 12. Driver uphill par4. Bunker start at 250. She’s come up shy. I’m not sure she got hold of all of that. There’s definitely a freshening up of wind. There’s a good club wind here on 12 which makes this par four play a lot longer. It’s 385. So just when the rain gained off the T on the LPGA tour did dark a last year. So this is the strength of her game looking to take those bunkers out of play. back to the par for ninth. Poly Mack with a a long birdie putt up the hill. There have been three birdies on the scorecard already for Polymac at 25 and eight, but that’s going to be well a lengthy par to come now for the German. That’s still in a share of that lead. Two under for the day. Yeah, but when you’ve got 90 yards left into the hole, you shouldn’t have a nine foot putt to try and save your par really. But she’s having a good giggle. Obviously a a good team spirit amongst uh team de laor overnight leaders co-leaders now as far as the team event is concerned. A little bit of left to right movement in this one. Oh what a good looking but just ran out of revolutions at the end. That was tracking beautifully for per Oh my lord. when I get there in the emperor. You’re playing with AdW and they only really struck up a friendship in uh recent times when they were in Australia and they kind of got stuck together because you’re aware one of the events got cancelled the first of the three events and so players were kind of having to stick together and find things to do and Pin and Ma did that and here they are now. It’s amazing how things work, sliding doors and all that. Yeah, a cyclone can can happen. Cyclone shortened events, this would be all. Thank goodness because if you stripe your drive 290 yd straight down the middle on the par four and you walk away with a five, you’re going to be pretty frustrated. But that’s a solid front line though. 34 share of the lead. Yeah. And Mac looking rather good. Yeah, bear in mind yesterday she had a triple bogey seven at the third. So it’s been a share of the lead. She has played fabulously elsewhere. Bronty Law with a delightful shot into the par five 13 covering the ladies European tour. I I don’t know if I’ve come across a course where you see so many big numbers. It seems that several of the players have had an eight or a seven. Yeah. Sophie was saying maybe the DF Golf and Country Club in India. Good good attempt from Patricia Schmidt. A different kind of test there in uh just outside of Delhi to the one we have here just outside of Salt. Dead straight. This the 12th hole straight up to the green. You’re really not getting any roll off the golf ball at all. They have over 50 professional events in Korea alone. Hard to believe such a, you know, small country, not like the States, which you would expect, but over 30 on the KPGA, which is the Korean tour. And then you’ve got the men’s tour, but you’ve also got the Dream Tour and the Jump Tour, which are like the development tours in order to crack it on to the KPGA. So, they know how to play and how to put on a golf tournament. It’s been a lovely week so far in spite of this deluge of rain. A tough golf course two under leading the other name at two under par there as you can see Pin Delorea Ferre is three under par for their own Helen Bream in a share of eighth place right now. She’s coming down the last. Yeah, go on. Yeah, we’re on the 10th tea box. The wind is picking up a little bit. I can see some flags next to me that are whipping away in the wind now that the rain has disappeared for the afternoon. Driver off the tea here at 10. Just a couple of bunkers to watch out for. They line both left and right side of the fairway here. That’s not really going to be much of a pitch. That’s going to be more of a chip. That was a huge drive there from De Laour. Really going after that. That would have scored well on the Aramco energy meter. Trying to live up to uh Poly Poly Mac, isn’t it? This should be fun. Ready for for a Mac attack, aren’t we, Amy? Exactly. Yes. It’s a little bit of a driving competition between her and Pin out here. And Given who’s coming. You can part A. Just want to make sure we know that was Ellie who is part of this team. Safely down the middle. Looks like Polly went off to get this shot’s actually this T-shot’s blind here on turn Richard. So the players can’t actually see where the ball finishes. They’ve just This is one of them holes where you really have to pick a target in the distance, step up there and commit to that line. Has Polymack going to take the big dog out? Has she got the driver in hand? No, she hasn’t. No, she says she has a a two iron in the bag. Amy, I don’t know if you had a chance to look in her bag, but she has a two iron, which she often uses where she feels tactically she should deliver. Yeah, I think that’s a good option, especially on this T-shot as well. I think there’s not really any real gain for here to hit driver. There is a a tree in the middle of the fairway that you can get stuck behind on this 10th hole. So playing for position here and her two iron goes like other people’s drivers. Last year different conditions saw players nearly get close to the green. Yeah, she’s out driven them with the two eyeir. There’s actually a fascinating story with Polymac which I’ll try and bring you a bit later because she’s trying to play both tours, the LPGA tour and the ladies European tour. We’ll come back to that though when we’re back with the group. First we’re going to focus on Shoju Kim and her second to 12. Long way back. Back pin on 12. That lovely high follow through there from Kju Kim. Yeah, should be happy with that from back there. Bronty Law hopefully going to make sure of this birdie at 13. Oh, what a pity. had a double bogey as well at the uh the 12th hole. So, she’s not going to be in the best of spirits after that. Currently at two over, 160 yards left, but this is more like a 180 shot. A five iron up the hill here. Look at where it’s finished as well. That is in a very awkward spot. Good luck with that one. Yeah, that’s going to be fun, isn’t it? Yeah. Back on a slight downs slope as well. While they’re walking in, shall I tell you about Polyax? So, she flew to Australia for the first of the LE events. While she was on the plane and she was on the plane Wi-Fi, she found out that she was in the event in China for the LPJ tour, the Blue Bay event. So, she went through customs in Australia, booked a flight to China, spent just the day in Australia, played the event in China, and then flew back to Australia for events two and three on the ladies European tour. Wow, I like her go-getter attitude. So decide good but she’s got some air miles on her as well and I got that information from the accident chasing paths podcast. I did an interview with her a few weeks ago. I was there at Blue Bay. I should have said hello to her but most probably been asleep when she wasn’t playing golf. Didn’t get much of a practice round. No, understandably. Excellent shot from Schmidt. But that gives you an idea, isn’t it? Because she just missed out on she’s got conditional status now on the LPGA tour. Just finished outside the top 100. She’s not guaranteed her starts and you just got to try and tear it up where you can. Well, it is the promised land. The LPG8 over $140 million in prize money this year available on that tour. These players do aspire to play there. That’s a lovely shot in from Scarpers. Also, Marian Scarp Nord as she’s known. She can knock that in. She’ll get the right side of the cut line at six over par. Two putters in the bag. You’ll see four. Is she going to go right-handed or left-handed with this one? Well, from long distance or longer distance. So, that’ll be a left-hander. Yes. I reckon she’s going left-handed without coming. because not many short holes. This is a birdie opportunity. Ooh, tried to be too cute with it there for Hadubi. Oh, that’s frustrating. Now Ellie given Amy abbreviated follow through for the English woman. A just releasing it on that down slope and that will be fine. Good birdie opportunity to come there. They are having a good time out there that’s for sure. Even though in slum somewhat gloomy conditions there is that lone tree in the middle of the fairway. Not going to be a factor for Pin de Laour or indeed for Polymac. Another wedge in the hands. She going to have a wedge awful lot of the holes around here with her distance. Yeah. 70 yards. That ball’s also sitting on the down slope, so it might come out a little bit low. Edge here. So Ellie’s had a little bit of a just having a few bit of troubles there with Amy’s mic unfortunately, but safely on the green form. Well, I wonder if she’s in contention tomorrow if she continues this good play. If she will be more aggressive tomorrow, if she’ll go for this green with her distance, you saw her take a driving iron today, but if it does dry out a bit, if she had driver, she could be close to this green. Yeah, Mac in a share of the lead as is Pin Delore, which is why part of the reason why this team is going so well. I mean, this is a a green light flag if I saw one. Maybe too close. Look at how awkward this is. That is superb. Absolutely fantastic. Give her another 20 balls. She won’t get one closer. That was classy, wasn’t it? Yeah, happy got parallel to the ground. That was lovely touch. Good technique there as well from Darka. Not much green to work with on the down slope. Awkward stance. Made it look easy. Now from the other side. This for a birdie. This to take sole possession of the lead for Hoju Kim. Well, she got it to the hole this time. Yeah, shooting stars are going to have to wait a little bit longer for the birdie to come on the back nine. One on the front on the six. Every time you mention the shooting stars, I can’t help think of Vic Reeves and Bob Morton. Yeah, they’re a slightly different breed these shooting stars. Slightly different characters and personalities. should point out for those that don’t know that was a a TV program, comedy program. Very funny as well. Now there’s the state of affairs in the team but very I mean I can’t I mean it’s close in the individual but I can’t remember seeing a team leaderboard this close as well for a while. One shot separating five teams. Given the amount of holes they played, you’d say team Delaor are favorites with Polymac and Perin amongst that six-way share at the top of the leaderboard. Annabelle Wilson. Two to play, four under for the day. Oh, what a day it’s proving to be for Annabelle Wilson. Four under. Who would have thought that player just 24 years old who plays out of Castle Rock Golf Club and is a rookie on tour has put herself to the top of the leaderboard. As you can see, there’s plenty of company there alongside Deacor as well as a host. Others are the order of merit champion for last year, Kiara Tambellini also fairing much better on this Saturday in Soul alongside Selen Bam. They are three under in their rounds today. Little asterisk next to 14 means that they started on the 10th hole on the other side of the golf course, but players certainly starting to get to grips with this course layout. It is tough. The best defense has been the uh the greens that have been super quick at the beginning of the week and then they were replaced. Best defense was the rain yesterday. God absolutely bucketed it down. Cats and dogs. Not quite sure how you say that in Korean, but it rained very heavily. Now though, no rain, but it seems the breeze might be whipping up. So, it’s relentless for these golfers. And that’s why we’re seeing very high scores. Two under leading a championship and also in the team event, Richard 16 under leading the way in the team event. We’ve had scores in excess of 35 36 under par. 23 under was the winning score last year. So the course is certainly bearing its teeth and the weather certainly putting up a bit of a fight for the players. It’s a lovely setting, isn’t it? just uh northwest of the city center of Soul, Patricia Schmidt. Then wonderful opportunity after this excellent T-shot at 11. Surely someone’s going to get to three under pass sooner rather than later, but now is not the time. Good try. Encouragement from her teammates. Good try, but she’ll be disappointed to miss out on that one. She is going left-handed. Yeah, I think it must be when it’s inside 10 ft. It’s with the left one. It’s uh certainly outside 20 ft. It’s with the right-handed one. And you certainly can’t put right-handed with that lad putter. Oh, effective. So, Marian Scarpord there has two putters in the bag. And that’s because she said, “I’ve got the yips.” So, is a right-handed player. the putts from close range left-handed contributing to the team. Very excited. She’s gone the right side of the cut line as well. It’s six over par. Well, she was a long way short with her birdie roll at nine. just as far as away with with this one at 10. The one at nine maybe a little more understandable. That was up the hill. That was very tentative from Polly. Not sure what Dor would have uh learned from that. Not a lot. It seems better pace. Just an update on the six tie for the lead. One of them, Annabelle Wilson, who was going so well, has just dropped a shot at 17. So, she slips back to one under. Well, she’s hold out again. Making hard work for herself, but uh passing the test. Putter working nicely. Think Sophie was telling me earlier today that there was a spher. I think she went from oh six to 14 where she single putted every green bar one. That will help when the putter is working well. 13 playing under its par. Plenty of birdies. You want to be single putting when they’re for birdie though, don’t you? Rather than being ups and downs. Lovely. Now that fish pond there, you can see those fish on the right hand side. Those aren’t big goldfish. Those are koi carp. And they are very expensive fish. And you can feed them as well. It’s a little You see at the beginning of that bridge, that little like kiosk is where there is uh fish food. So, something for everyone out here. Good hold of this though. Very pretty as you can see as you walk over the bridge. And then uh it’s a dock leg right to left with that water down the right hand side. Not the one we’re looking at now. That’s obviously not in play, but just beyond the bunker. There it is. Second year in a row. The Ladies European tour about 101 15 years ago used to go to Jau Island but returned last year. This golf course will be hosting the international crown in October as well. So more team golf to come with the backdrop there of the Bansson Mountains which is in the northern periphery of Salt. Well, this Aramco career championship part two of five in the PIF Global Series. We already had the uh PIF Saudi Ladies International in Riyad. That was back in February. $5 million prize fund for that one. Right now we’re in Soul in Korea at New Korea Country Club. We’re off to the Centurion Club just outside of London before heading off to Houston in the United States in September before concluding the PIF Global Series back in Shenzen in China. minimum of $2 million prize puns uh per event for all of that totaling up to 13 million across the five and this year no amateurs or at least no amateur amateurs if I call them this week we got the professional amateurs as we can tell from the uh leaderboard and don’t forget you can follow us for the global series the PF global series on social media you can do so on both of those Twitter or ex accounts whatever you want to call 11th hole playing 151 yards today. Maha had eight iron green sits below the tea box here a little bit. The ideal position is keeping the ball to the left of this pin. You do not want to be missing this right. Yeah. Even though that’s a good shot there, Amy, there’s still going to be movement on that part. It all slopes, doesn’t it? Left to right. It does. Yeah. There’s a subtle slope right going up in the middle of this green on 11. So, players will know that. Try and fade one in from left to right. Polymac. Just a nine iron for Polly today. She’s got a slightly higher ball flight than a lot of the players out here on the le. One of the best ball strikers. Nice looking swing there from Mac. Won’t be much club in hand either. Amy, give us an idea of just how far she hits it. What have you noticed from watching them today? Yeah, I I’ve actually played with Polly. I think we played in Saudi together two years ago and I mean some of the lines off tea boxes that she took in comparison to what to what I was taking. I mean she can cut the corners. It’s so impressive how far she actually can carry the ball. Prin Delicort. She’s going to be next to play. Not much release on this green, so you can pitch this pretty much the whole way to the pin. That’s a bold attempt there from Deacor. These guys have a share of the lead in the team stakes alongside team spits. So they’ll be keeping a close eye on the leaderboard on this back nine. Thing is they got plenty of holes to play with and the back nine seems to be yielding more birdies than the front nine. Final hole of the day in what’s been an impressive round for Helen Breen. Can she squeeze out one more birdie? Sorry. Did you see where she was playing her second shot from? How big that drive was. That was enormous. We talked about the drive of Polly Mack online. Helen Breen was 20 yards past her. That was more of a chip. Wasn’t a good one from Helen Breen, but wow, that was one big drive from the German. from one German to another. Patricia Schmidt in the bunker where we saw Mara play a beauty from. She’s got a rather more solid stance to come. Playing alongside Helen Bream is Joe and Kim. Struggle yesterday for Kim. Oh dear, it’s not been a good tournament. Yeah. It ends a difficult week unfortunately uh for Kim. This you got wish you got on TV holding a P. Well, you got to find the highlights, haven’t you? Let’s take the positives. I want to thank you very much for the chocolate hobnob you’ve just given me. Tell you what, our encourse commentators, I know they’re working hard, but it’s hard work here in the commentary box. And Richard is excellent at traveling with good tea bags and chocolate hobnobs. Gosh, I’d love a cup of tea right now in a chocolate hop knob. I’ll save you one. Well, I’ll make sure Richard does. Of course I will, Amy. Yes, please. I did manage to nip into the bakery this morning, though, so I have got a donut out with me in my bag today. I’ve not tucked into just yet. Ali Given. She made birdie on 10. Long birdie attempt here on 11. And that’s rolling down. Yeah, birdie was her first of the day to go with the bogey she had at the second. So, one over par. Remember, she’s only three shots off the lead. She’s been part of a a winning team on these PIF Global Series events. Yeah. and Singapore part of the team. She’d be a good team player to have Ellie Given. Good temperament, highly enthusiastic, positive. That’s what you need. It’s amazing. You saw the spirit there. She She’s never met Polymack before this week. And she’s only met Perin Deor once before. Yet now suddenly they’re the best of buddies out there. That’s what these events can do. Let’s head up to Shouju Kim. This 13th hole is a par five. All four players here have laid up short of the creek which sits 30 yards in front of this screen. Leaving themselves a pitch in the pin is further back and to the left hand side. A good look here for Hoju Kim. 83 yds. Looking to land this 5 yd short of it. Keep it below the pin. Yeah, it was nicely played. I mean, you expect nothing less really from Hoju Kim. Well, the rain has started to come down. It’s getting dark and drizzle. The umbrellas are up and in the rough on the left hand side. Arianne Clots have to go digging for this one. Play for some release. Flag is 19 on. He got some release unfortunately through the back of the green for the player from New Calonia which is uh Pacific Island in between Fiji and New Zealand. Let’s catch up again with Patricia Schmidt. Looks like she’s ready to play now. That was not her best. We saw how you do it from Daniela Da. That is not one Patricia will want to see back. Talking of Dark, here she is at 13. Oh my my my that is so unfortunate. I don’t think that caught the flag too high up and I think that would have been about five six feet away. Let’s have a look. Yeah, it hits the bottom of the flag. That is really unfortunate for Dark. Instead of having a near tap in for Birdie, she’s going to have that lengthy putt up the slope. Pity deserves better. Helen Bream trying to finish her round with a birdie outside look, you’d say. But what an excellent round it has been. Well, they said that was a birdie putt. I thought that was too far up for Helen Broom’s drive. I think that that was her third shot in. I reckon that was a par she had there. I reckon she’s going to be knocking that in for bogey. And still two under leads. That was a good try, but birdies are so hard to come by. You’re getting a grill taste of why two under only leads. I mean, there’s been, you would say, a number of looks, really decent looks, but nobody really been able to take those opportunities. Bonnie Mack amongst them. Here’s another opportunity. Just the one birdie today from Delore. Winner of the last ladies European Tour event. She’s played on the LPGA tour twice since winning the South African Women’s Open. And what a shame the rain is now coming down again. There’s a nice little break for a couple of hours for everybody. It’s quick from this back of 13 downhill. Quick indeed. Rotten right now in the capital of Korea. And no real birdies to cheer anyone up either. Not sure if you’re going to see Helen Breen tap it out, but I think I uh have had confirmation what I was saying was true that you saw her playing a third in there and that’s a bogey for the German, which means it’s going to be around a 69, which will equal the best of the week. Wow, Sophie, I’m sitting here in the commentary box and I’ve got a hand warmer. So, we’re inside. I can only imagine what it’s like out there now. Yeah, it’s whipping down this 13th hole. The wind’s gusting, I suppose. 30 feet from right to left up the hill. See, the waterproofs aren’t on yet. I imagine they will be on the next tea box for our first birdie of the day. I’ll have to wait or pass. Oh, and a share of the lead. Yeah, not often you you you’re through what 13 holes. You haven’t had a single birdie and you started the day one behind and you’re leading. Well, it wasn’t a good bunker shot at all from Patricia Schmidt and as a result this lengthy one for P now. So, we had a six-way tie at one stage for the lead. That’s down to four now. Annabelle Wilson slipping back to one under pass. Schmidt now doing the same. And as they slip back, Hoju Kim has the chance to step forward. And I am surrounded by Hoju Kim fans. They’ve come inside of the ropes to get dry under the tree that sits to the left of 13. So there could be some noise here. She knows there’s some more movement because Dares did break quite hard from right to left at the end. So uphill birdie put here. The defending champion moves in front on her own and finally someone gets to three under again and it’s you know who. or you know Ho very good. Well, it’s been a wonderful year so far for Hoju Kim. She leads the LPGA tour in the race to the CME Globe. She’s already had a win on the LPGA tour. Very nearly won a major and leading right now. Looking extremely comfortable out there. Catch me if you can. She is going to be tough to beat. Yep, she was the favorite at the start of the week and nothing to suggest there’s a need to change that right now. Just through the midway point of round two of this Aramco career championship and things started to take shape in both the team and the individual. And it’s team Houston. Alice Houston from England. Darcy Harry from Wales. Alexandra Swain from the Virgin Islands. And Norwegian Dota Ferbrick who are out in front. Albeit they only have one hole left to play. And they are only one shot ahead of team Delore and team Spitz who are in a similar part of the course. And there is confirmation that the world number eight has hit the front with that birdie four at the 13th. Shoju Kim breaking free from the pack leads at minus three. Yeah, they haven’t updated the Helen Bream score yet on our leaderboard, but we uh on my leaderboard at least they put it down as a bogey five. So, she will be in amongst the uh the runners tomorrow. Selena Aban putting together a really nice round of golf. She started at the 10th. Three unanswered birdies so far from her. Siojin Park was going better and she started that front nine. Her back nine double bogey bogey has picked up a birdie since then. So back to level par along with Shannon Tan who sits inside the top 10 of the rankings so far this season. Carag gainer at number two also right there at level par. She could leapfrog Mimi Roads at the top of the rankings here in Korea. Roads at the moment is eight over par which means she is the wrong side of the cut line although not by much. Still got a few holes left to play. Sankun Park continuing to impress on day two. the former world number one at two over par which means she is five behind now her compatriate Shoju Kim I mean as it stands Shouju out in front which is great for the tournament in terms of better weather tomorrow as far as we’re aware Kate and given the weather you’d expect team spits to be doing well although it’s been more than spitting now. Oh, goodness for you. You’ve been saving those, haven’t you? You’re on a roll right now. Let’s hope Spitz can finish in fashion, in style, because this is hard. The 18th hole, you’re never going to be beyond the pin. Very hard for those players to do that. It’s a lengthy second shot in, but well, she’s won over par as well. So, I mean, obviously leading the team well, but also individually, she’s been knocking on the door a few times this year. She said at the start of the year she was on the le Golf podcast and saying one of her goals this year was to get in contention more and she she’s definitely done that. 197 yds for Hadwi up the hill hybrid. She was a slightly lower ball flight. So this one’s going to release up the green which is a good thing. And it’s getting even better. You look at a three right there. It’s not easy out there. The rain actually feels like it’s getting a little bit lighter at the moment. It looks like it came down really heavy on that previous hole, but don’t want to speak too soon. It must be a microclimate where you are. I’ve just popped out of the commentary box and it was grim. Yeah, I am maybe stood under a tree caving which is keeping me Don’t blame me. You go back. Delic next to here. 192 y long iron. Again, I want to be looking at this front number. Trying to release it up the green. Her approach play was good yesterday. She hit 15 out of 18 greens. looking to find another one here. Unfortunately, not though. Yeah, that was yesterday. That was solid. 15 out of 18. Green’s 10 out of 14 fairways for Deacor just averaging shy of 250 yards off the tea. Well, this would be big because they’re trailing by one at the moment. Team Spits in the team stakes. They’re 17 under. Houston is 18 under. Well, there’s nothing wrong with a par at 18 or they they could do with a little bit more than that team led by the Austrian. But uh she picked Annabelle Wilson, her former UCLA teammate. And it it’s turned out to be a decent pick from Emma, hasn’t it? Because Annabelle has really played some beautiful golf today. Having a closer look at this drive was worried about it flirting with the bunker for Hoju Kim. But funnily enough, she’s found another fairway. Generally hits 80% of fairways. One of the weapons that Hoju Kim has the ability to shoot a very low score indeed. You often see her with scores of 64 65. She has shot 61 at the Evian Championship. Back to 12. Bonnie Mack. Well, for a player who drives it as long as Pololly Mack does, you do feel by watching her over the last few holes, if she could dial in those irons, how deadly she could be on the golf course to find an approximate closer proximity to the hole with those irons. She’s found a few bunkers today. Okay, another one found there off the tea on this par run. unfortunately just had a six at 17 and now this for a six at 18 ruining a brilliant scorecard. Annabelle Wilson. At least she’s rolled that one in. Trouble off the tea here. But it’s a 66 finish for a round of 71 when it promised so much more for the Northern Irish rookie. But still anything under par around here is still to be applauded. Oh, it is. But oh, finishing like that for poor Annabelle when she was grafting so hard, especially around the turn with birdies at 8, 10, 12, and 13. Oh, gutted for her. Gutted for her, but she still, as you say, has a chance. Well, I’m not sure how Spitzen Wilson’s teammates have fared at 18, but it would be a surprise if they were to move off that mark of 17 under par. team Houston. Well, they are about to come down that 18th as well. Nancy Harry, Alexander Swain, and Dortea Ferre, they are the ones out in front at the moment. Team Houston, team delore very much still the favorites. Team Walsh have finished on the mark of 16 under. Now there’s Poly Mack having a good look where she going to land this chip. me or you? Yeah, I think a little bit less loft would be the choice I’d play here, but she looks like she’s got quite quite a lot in her hand. 56°. Maybe trying to pitch this halfway up. Trying to get it to release. Going to play this one a little bit back in a stance. Not a lot of movement. Oh, lovely touch. Very good indeed. Yeah, her short game was excellent yesterday as well. She only had 27 putts. in her round yesterday. Yeah, big booming drives. It’s when we’ve seen her drive the ball so well today, Amy, it’s surprising she’s not hitting it closer to the pin. Yeah, her approach plays it’s been a little bit off today, I’ve got to say. I think she’s coming up short quite a lot. Um she does have a slightly higher ball flight and not sure whether she’s expecting sometimes, especially in the first few days here when the greens were so firm, expecting a bit more release. We’re looking at Pin Delicor now. He’s in the bunker. Make sure that you don’t get too short with these long bunker shots with the swing. That was a lovely played shot from Pin there. Yeah, she looks very confident from the sand. Seen a couple of excellent ones from her now on this back nine. Getting a bit more practice from them than she probably would want though. It was nice to hear chatting to Gabby and her wanting the opportunity to to play a little bit more global golf. Certainly done that at the start of the year on the Ladies European tour, having started the year in Morocco, making our way to Saudi Arabia. Then those events in Australia and then in South Africa and now here in Korea. It’s uh because of the council of event because of the weather in Australia. Event number seven of the season on the lei given’s got a little bit of trouble off the tea. She hit it in the right trees. Had to punch one out onto the fairway. This is now for par for Alli. It’s going to move a little bit from right to left up the hill. That needs to hustle. She’d be a good team member, wouldn’t she? Amy Ellie Gibbons. Yeah, very steady golfer. Ellie doesn’t do a lot wrong. Very straight off the tea, very accurate. She’s someone that you know that is just always going to be there to back you up. Good clean pickup from Darka. That’s fine. A little one of the deeper bunkers, fairway bunkers at least there from this is where you want to be hitting from. Easiest hole on the golf course. That was all right, wasn’t it? Release back down. That has a chance for Kim to get better. It’s going to try and work it off the backboard. Oh, yes. as well. Will we start to see her put her foot down like she did yesterday on this back nine? Picked up three birdies. Well, she’s just hit the front with that birdie at 13. Another opportunity here at 14. Birded 13 yesterday. Birded 14 yesterday. So, it is the favorite part of the course now. Team Houston coming up 18. Alexandra Swain as well. One shot outside the cut line at seven over. So, a lot to play for. And oh my goodness me, that wasn’t far away from going in for maybe a competition clinching two. Yeah, she’s found some form as well on the back nine, making birdies on 15 and 17. And here’s Alice. A chance to check in with Alice. Multiple winner on tour. She’s safely inside the cut line. We’ll have eyes on the prize. They just beded 17. They’re struggling to make par now at 18. Well, this team have the lead right now. It’s a slender ones margin. And here’s one of the teams just a shot behind Delore to get the up and down from the sand. Remains on the par run. It’s a feisty French woman wanting the title. Good sandy par. That’s nine cars in a row. We saw Polly Mack play a beautiful trip up the green. Got to be careful over these three foot PS. There’s quite a bit of movement on this one from left to right and it is a little bit downhill. play it the respect it needs. Yeah, a couple of really good up and downs and that’s important for the team as well as the fact that these two players are just one back. They are the favorites you would say right now to to win the team prize especially there’s no easy pickings up at 18 for team Houston. Oh, this is quick now for Swain trying to take the pace out of it by landing it on the fringe, but there you see it scuttle on down. The only consolation is it’s an uphill par putt to come, but not a good place to leave yourself. No, cuz the cut could fall to seven over that. The puck she’s got coming up could very much be to get into tomorrow’s third and final round for the individual. Lot of money to be won. Remember a $2 million prize fund now 1 and a.5 million of which goes to the individual event. 500,000 to the team one that finishes today. Darcy Harry from across the green at 18. This will move from right to left. She’s had a really good start to her rookie season as Darcy Harry back with her in a moment. The Moroccan on 13. Mahadui. Oh, that’s a good drive. Perfectly positioned there for the 36y old. She’s lovely. She’s so easy to talk to. Great person if you do bump into on your way around. Ellie Given next to play. This power five is a dog leg from right to left. Only the longer hitters will be going it in it for up for two. Be interesting to see what club Polly Mack pulls on this tea. I’m hoping it’s driver. She tries to take it on. Me too, Kate. Me too. I think this is definitely where she has to take advantage of her long game where you know that driving distance. She needs to take advantage of being one of the longest out here. Back there in a moment. Alan Sh with this long putt for par. Well, you’d be surprised if this is enough of course T-shot. Well, it’s in between the two bunkers. I should say in the tongue of the bunker and not a bad line in either on this dog leg left. Oh no, no driver, Amy. No, I think she’s going for There is water that comes into play on this hole, which she can definitely reach. She would have to play quite a strong draw to miss that. So, playing for accuracy. Yeah. Yeah, it’s it’s wise golf, isn’t it? There’s uh no need to just go out there and entertain us. She’s got a tournament to it. I know. I’d love to see her go out there and smack one with the driver, but as Amy pointed out, Walter right trouble with the trees left as well. Could block yourself out. Team Houston aren’t going to add to that score of 18 under. So that’s as good as they’ll be able to do. Obviously we don’t know whether they’re actually going to finish there. Houston has made bogey. Team Deacort who we’ve just watched te off at 13 looking strong right now. No one really else out on the course is threatening. I mean teama there I suppose not too far back. Joju Kim with a wonderful chance to get to 14 under to four under at 14 in a moment. At the moment, one ahead of a trio of players. Annabelle Wilson there. You see at the bottom of your page, we were told it was a double bogey for her at 18. In fact, it was only a bogey putt for the Northern Irish woman. She had been in trouble on the trees, but obviously we hadn’t got to see her shots prior to that, but they have put her in for a bogey five. So, it wasn’t a 66 finish, but a 65 finish for a round of 70, which leaves her at level park. Helen Bream with a 69. If Sun Park can par the ninth, she will shoot 69 today as well. Suddenly she’s in in contention picking up a birdie at eight. Leading amateur is Jang Juan Choy. Just part of the Korean national team. one ahead of a teammate for the week in terms of the team event in Seio Jin Park. Pier Babnik was playing superbly on the her front nine, the back nine of this golf course. Just giving away a few coming home and Darcy Harry should tap in for a second successive round of 73 where we left her at 18. Mogi won birdie today from Shannon Tan. First winner on the ladies European tour from Singapore. Lauren Walsh was in the first group out shooting 72 in some cold difficult conditions. Ellie Given with a wood here for her second shot on the power five. She’s got over well over 200 yds to the stream. So she can pretty much hit everything she’s got here. Yeah, just chasing it up nicely. Yes. Even if you think you’re able to get home in two, you have got to fly over a ravine that cuts across the fairway near the pin, near the green. That was a good try, but uh no birdie for team Houston. Hold your Oh, it does sneak in the side door. Well, that’s a great part there from Schmidt. Okay. After dropping a shot at 12, gets it straight back at 13. One of the bigger hitters in the field as well. I think the wet conditions this year, we’re seeing more of the the stronger hitters up there. Of course, he’s playing long. Well, he’s not getting any run on the ball whatsoever. Alexander Swain now at 18. Saw four, but have a good attempt. It’s going to be a drop shot. It’s going to mean a mis cut unfortunately for Alexandra Sway. this to open up a two-shot lead at the top. Come on. Never in doubt. Oh, in cruise control now. Hoju. She’s playing at home. She’s got family with her. Her fans are chanting and cheering for her every step of the way. She leads the tour in various stats on the LPGA and is really finding herself in a very good position right now. A two-shot lead. So, it’s going to be a bogey to finish at eight over par for SW. And it looks like they’re going to finish at 18 under par here. Dancy Harry is going to make a par. We’ll see her finish off there. Instead, we’ll go over to 13 with Dela Core. 522 yds today this par five. So, I think there’s very few players who are choosing to go for it in two if indeed they are able to. So, De Laor there laying up just a wedge required for third. Well, she’s tapped in Harry for a round of 73 for the second day in a row. And it’ be a 74 for Alice Houston with that bogey finish. A great team effort. We shall wait and see if it’s enough for team Houston. Terms of probability, you’d say unlikely. Team Houston finishing it seems at 18 under par, one ahead of team dedic tough day out there and finding birdies is not easy. But if we remind our viewers, it’s the best two scores on each hold to count. And this year we’ve got four professionals rather than last year having three professionals and an amateur. So I don’t know. I think Delore is going to surge ahead. Well, team Delore are one back, but they still have uh a few holes to go at the moment playing that par five 13th. But there’s no doubt who has taken a strangle hold on affairs in the individual side of things like yesterday show Kim Birding 13 and 14. And leading at four under par as Polly Mack lays up nicely at the par five. She probably could get home in two if she did if she had have taken the driver out. Day two of this Aramco career championship just outside of the city center of soul here for the second year in a row. Shoju Kim winning last year in the individual with a winning score of 10 under par. We had a few weather issues last year as well. In fact had a few delays. KG had to come back and play half a dozen holes. This is stop two of five on the newly named PIF Global Series. Five events in three continents with a prize pool of $13 million. It’s a huge part of the Ladies European Tour calendar. Started in Saudi Arabia, right now in Korea. We’ll be off out just outside of London at the Centurion Club before heading to Houston and Shenzen in China. Ellie Given playing her third into the par 513. She has 133 yards. That’s a nine iron for Alli. started working with a new coach at the start of the year, Stuart Clayton, who’s uh went with Katrina Matthew and others. Did a little bit of commentating with me in Morocco. Ellie. Yeah, it’s very good. Oh, she’s lovely. Great character. Good personality as well. All right. Well, this is this should be relatively straightforward, Amy. Yeah. 99 yards for Maha. These par fives are really what this team is wanting to take advantage of at this point in the back nine. This is where you’re going to want to be picking up shots out here. Maha looking to get one close. Can go straight out this pin. It’s a chance. Oh, Amy, they’re very good at taking the coats off and on and off and on. Yeah, they’ve been on and off all day today. 96 yard. on a down slope with a ball. It needs to keep on going for Deakor. It’s a little bit quick that swing. Not the best rhythm from the French woman. Not the best result. Remember these players hit the shot thousands of times in practice. Players who can zero in from 100 yards. Polly operating from the left hand. Rough. Hard to get some give there. That was never going to hold. Not from there. And also to a green just slope away on 13. It’s very conservative play, isn’t it, from Polymac that we’ve seen? Well, it’s not playing easy, is it? This new Korea country club. She is two under parath for the day. So, it’s it’s working well. Jakib also two under parath for the round. Tough par three 15th playing 175 yards today and a bit of a wide from the tournament leader. No problem though. Caddy Gilly caught the car caught the car back to the hotel with her caddy last night. He’s saying it’s the best bag he’s had. She is the easiest player to caddy for. Happy new partnership though. Yeah, new this year. Yes. She’s good. He’s been on tour for god 15, 20 years, but she is fussfree. Knows her game well. Brings him in when she needs to. Well, she’s had all cars. You wouldn’t think this is necessarily the hole where you’re going to find your first birdie today, but she’s given herself a look as Daniela Dair. This 13th green surrounded by trees. That’s a good idea showing you you can’t miss right or long. Mhm. At this 30th, no one’s done that here. I think players on the screen are discussing if their balls got hit. Yes, they did. Amy asking the cameraman. Yes, slightly. It was Poly Max hit Penny Given’s ball just by It didn’t move. I think as much as that, but anyway. Yeah, the players can’t actually see the green from their approach shot as it’s a little bit elevated. They wouldn’t have been able to see how much it actually moved. Yeah, we’re having a look at the replay right now. Uh maybe a couple of feet, but uh close enough. We are going to be looking at a few birdie attempts on this par five. Pindelor is going to be first up at not quite had the pace today. So difficult with all this rain that they’ve had over the last couple of days how much it slowed the greens down out here and first couple of practice days. The girls were all saying just how fast the greens are. Some of the fastest they’ve played. This goes slightly uphill and then downhill after the pin. Yeah. Better core. Not They’re going to quite find the range. Polymax had three birdies today. Only two birdies between the other three players combined. If they are going to win this, they’re going to need to find something over this closing stretch. Yeah, I feel like feel like a bit of momentum’s been lost over the last couple of holes. It’s been a it’s been a tough stretch though. The last two were difficult holes. This is one that they really want to be able to pick up a couple of shots. Just making the most of the par fives out here. Probably Mark is going to be next to per. Little bit of movement on this one. And it is downhill. A little bit careful. She’s been aggressively putting today, I have to say. She’s left herself with a couple of 3 4 footers past the hole. It’s going to move from here right to left early on. Good roll from the German. Should I pull it? Uh, I I’ll Yeah, you would think this is the little stretch, Amy, isn’t it? 13 here. The power five 14 is actually playing the easiest hole on the course. If they don’t pick up a birdie or a shot there, we’ll be back with them in a moment. If they don’t pick up a shot there, Kate, you would think 13 and 14. Suddenly, the pressure is going to build on them. And you never know. Team Houston, I wouldn’t hurry off leaving the golf course just yet. Yes, they are. as we watch Leanne Pace play the easiest hole as you said on the golf course smashing out from the bunker. Definitely wait around. Back to 13. Okay, now do we find the birdie? Not with that pace unfortunately. Good try. Yeah, that one was right in the jaws. Just needed that extra roll. So many players coming up short with our parts. Yes. So there would be a playoff today, there in the team event. Ellie Given’s ball is on a very similar to line to what Poly Mack has. So she would have had a good read. She knows it’s going to be breaking from right to left. Come on. Good try. You can hear they’re trying to give themselves encouragement, which is the right thing to do in this team format. Yes, we’re with the team format. If indeed there are a more there is more than one team locked on the same score through 36 holes, then the team captain nominates a player and it will be a sudden death playoff. Normally it’s it’s normally they they nominate themselves but there has been an occasion where they have picked another player. Yeah. Cassandra Alexander was uh picked by her captain in London a couple of years ago Garcia. herself a few testers for par in the last hour and a half as Polly Mack. She’s passed every one of those tests so far just to stay in the share of second place. Yeah, she’s a very strong putter. 27 PS like I said yesterday. Solid. All right. Hard for everybody. close to the lead. So, let’s go. Yeah, you can hear him uh trying to give the encouragement. I mean, there’s $35,000 to each player who wins the team event, so plenty at stake. All remains above ground for Patricia Schmidt. Yeah. $35,000 for each member of the winning team, $225,000 for the winner of the individual. Yeah. Thank you very much. One of the biggest prize funds on the tour all year. Well, there is confirmation. 18 under par. Team Vanam have made a bit of a move. and Vanam’s team moving with birdies at 16 from an and from Ursula Victram to 17 under pass. So they’re now just one shot back with two to play. There’s confirmation of Hoju Kim’s lead. Remember the individual concludes tomorrow. Two shot lead as it stands for Shoju Kim who’s on the 15th green right now. Kelsey Bennett, excellent round for a player who’s been in terrific form. Finished top 10 in both events in South Africa and now right in the top 10 here. For finishing with a round of 69. 69 the low score of the day so far. Kiara Neoa, good to see her back. She has had a lot of injury rows. Remember, winning a 16 in uh one of the PIF Global Series events in Saudi Arabia a couple of years ago. She has really struggled since then with a shoulder injury. Spent most of last year out injured and just on the comeback trail. So that’s a really encouraging round from the talented teenager. There’s confirmation of that birdie I was telling you about for an vanam at 16. Takes a under par for the day. Takes a team within a shot of the lead. Yeah, you’re certainly seeing longer players fare better around this track and Vanam being a classic example of that. just is all carry this golf course. There is no run on the golf ball whatsoever. So I told you 69 has been the low round of the week so far. But that could change with this part for Sanghun Park. This is for a birdie around a 68 to put a player who has just missed cut after cut in contention. biggest row of the week for the round of the week. Sun Park with a 68. No reaction from her whatsoever. Incredibly given the There you go. There’s the smile we’re waiting for. It’s been a long time coming. It certainly has. I was going to say clearly delighted with that round, but it took a while for the emotion to sink in. How can you not smile when you’ve got a fan club like the Nambdala fan club rooting for you every step of the way? Because she sat out nearly the whole of 2024. She’s made her comeback, hasn’t she? And she’s really struggled, hasn’t she? Certainly has. And you saw the taping around her wrist. That has been the problem for Sun Hyong Park. And came into this event off the straight of eight missed cuts. So finding form much to the li of her home fans and playing in Korea as well. Last year we saw last year we saw the Yoju Kim Bang Club the shooting stars. This year it’s all about Sunjim Park. They’re absolutely out in full voice. Yes, ladies and gents. Well, how many are there here supporting in the fan club? Sorry, how many are there here supporting in the fan club? Okay, so for today it’s approximately 150 people. The fan clubs are gathering here and share for our core the sun park and on our fan club we do have over 1,000 over 1,000 over 100,000 park. Yes, that’s incredible stuff. And you call yourself the Nambdala. Why do you call yourself that? So nala means player and including the fan will be doing the different with others. So we’ll be the first then this mean can be first. You can be full force. You certainly are and they are different to others because they’ve been really noisy on the golf course at the right times. I’ve heard them from one end to the other and every time she makes a birdie these lot make this noise and she has made five today. So you can only imagine. So, who’s going to be louder? Is it Park or is it Kim? Top work, Gabby. I’m excited about them coming out tomorrow. Well, I mean, fantastic round as well. They had plenty to shout about today and just such good news. the former world number one. She’s outside the top 700 now in the world rankings and that is going to be a big encouragement for her heading into the rest of 2025. Whatever happens tomorrow. Yeah, there’s Dara teeing off. But for fans of Sunyang Park, they ask her to sign all sorts of things. They’ve asked to sign brand new Christian Dior Gucci handbags. That makes you squirm, doesn’t it, Clay? Oh my good. Well, just I’ve never been close to a Gucci handbag. Not a real one anyway. But uh yeah, 10,000. She has a dinner for them. a concert for them every year. They’re the top 200 make it through. It’s absolutely fascinating for us coming here each year to see the Korean fans. Well, this whole big drop made par at 15. Hoju Kim about a 30 yd drop at this 373 yd par four. That will do nicely for the tournament leader. Yeah, the shooting stars are going to have to come in in force tomorrow to square off against the Nandalas. Given just coming up shy next to play 120 y up the hill. This is another one of them elevated greens where you can’t see the bottom of the flag. So really needing to trust your number here. There is a false front. Have to make sure he carried over that. And she did that. Okay. Excellent shot. Getting better. We saw that from Hoju Kim. And well, they need a birdie. It may be coming. There would be Maha’s first of the day. Delicor 118 yards sitting on a slight ups slope. That was going to launch into the air. That could come back a little bit as well. Now, good shot there. She is the team leader, the team cheerleader as well. knows exactly what’s at stake. They have every opportunity to close the door on this team championship. Oh, Polly Mack has hit an another huge drive down this par four. I mean, it’s all carry off the tea and she’s hit this two yards to this pin and fly it all the way as we’ve seen as a back stop. She’s not being able to make her length count. If that Oh, that is that’s a little unlucky. It’s only missed the mark there by about 3 or 4 feet. Going to be a speedy putt now as well. Back down the slope. Such a good swing that Polymac has that low exit left. Half five 17th with Luna Subbr. Hello. Hit the pin. That will do. In it goes. Well, that’s got to be the luckiest chip shot we’ll see all week. I don’t think that came out the middle of the club face backto back birdies for the Spaniard to go to a one over par. I mean, we’ve seen a few unlucky moments today. It’s nice to see some better fortune for someone. And the player from Morca cashes in. Yes, good work there. Sometimes you can get it horribly wrong and it all goes right now. Jinny on 16 par four up the hill. Oh, and she can’t decide exactly which green to hit, the summer one or the winter one for Jenny. Now Daniela Da remember she had had all pars. We can see from her score she birded 15 the par three. We saw her T-shot and she rolled it in for a birdie too. Unfortunately we weren’t able to see that but she is now one behind Shouju Kim who had a player from Colombia breathing down her neck last year. And this time it’s a player from Ecuador. It seems that’s come up shy. That’s a poor shot from Darka downhill. Got to take some off it. Certainly the back n is easier than the front. There are more birdies to be had. Well, another German, another German that hits it a long way. There’s a few of them in this field today, aren’t there? Kiara Neua. Great to see her playing well. It’s been a long time coming this after her injury wos. What a good back n she’s putting together. And there’s another example of it there from Neua. Well, that reaction suggests it’s another birdie. Kiara Neuer is making a move towards the top of the leaderboard. 84 yds down the hill. Lob wedge. Come on. Come on. And once again, putting herself in the ideal position to collect yet another birdie on this back nine for Hoju Kim. She’s five under on the back nine today and yesterday. good opportunity to go six under. She’s also unbelievably quick at putting that jacket on and taking it off again. She hosts an event every year at the BMW Ladies Championship, which we went to a couple of years ago. Her dad owns a restaurant near the golf course and she invites everybody along. about 80 of us that go along to the dad’s restaurant and uh they host an evening. Nice. What sort of food? Korean food. So hot and spicy, plenty of meat. I struggle, but they do serve soju. Which you don’t struggle with. No. Well, Giddy’s catching needs a little bit of practice, doesn’t it? Really, the Canadian dropping on there. Yeah, he can catch a good bag, though. He’s had some good players in his time. Well, Polymax had several part putts at this length for par, hasn’t she, Richard? But this time, it’s a putt for a birdie. This puts actually for par Kate. She ended up being past the pin. Had a really slippery downhill putt. She was quite aggressive with it. So, she’s left with this one. She’s done it again. Given herself these lengthy par putts and every time she’s come through. She was a little unlucky, wasn’t she, with that second shot. Just got caught on the top of the slope. And as you mentioned, it was a quick cut coming up, Kate. And well, she did well to two putt it there. The other two on the bottom level, these are birdie chances, aren’t they, Amy? Yeah, I’ve just watched Pin. She missed her birdie chance. So, she’s in for par. This is Mahadui. And a must make for the team. That is a big birdie. First of the day for the Moroccan. And it takes team Delore back to the top of the team leaderboard at 18 under par alongside team Houston. And DA came up shy. This is going to move from left to right as well. The Ecuadorian. Oh, it needs to be higher. They pace of Daniel here at 16. 11 wins on the Ladies European tour. A few years since the last of them. In fact, her last three wins on the LD have all been at the South African Women’s Open. Little pause at the top of the back swing for Schmidt, but she likes it. Picks up the tea quickly and that scampers on down. and team Kuscoa certainly not out of it. There is the the team captain Briana Navar Roa the next to go one of the rookies on tour from America. They are actually just come off the back of a birdie from Lean Pace at 15. So they are now tied for the lead as well. Our team Kuskova. Yeah, this is seriously tight. Three teams locked on 18 under par. Team Law one remaining. They’re only one shot back. And there’s confirmation of how it looks right now. Three-way tie. Team Vanam one behind. And we saw that birdie from Adi taking Deacor to 18 under. And a one-shot lead. Chouju Kim and Daniela playing together. They may well be doing the same again tomorrow. Well, we had the low round of the day from Sanky Park. It has been matched by Kiara Tambellini, last year’s number one on the Ladies European Tour. Three wins. also twice a winning captain as well in the PIF Global Series. Tambberellini moving from three over to one underpar. Five birdies just a one drop shot on the card from the Swiss player. Excellent from her. A bogey bogey finish from Annabelle Wilson then a round of 70. Five Germans on that page as well. Yeah, Kiara Neua putting together an excellent round. We actually uh saw her birdie, didn’t we? At 17. So, she’s actually one shot better than that. She’s actually three under for the day. And level par overall. So, she’ll be alongside her compatriate Aen Crower on the mark of level par. Carana number two on the rankings looking for her second win of the year. She’s had a win in Morocco, second place finish as well in Australia behind Mimi Roads. who is at number one on the rankings. Roads by the way finished at eight over par which means she is going to miss the cut. So there will be a chance for the likes of Gainer, maybe even to go above her on the rankings. Deep into the latter stages of our coverage of day two of this Aramco career championship, there will be a playoff if we cannot separate those teams at the top. If anyone can, you would think it would be team Delicor who’ve got more holes on their side, but we shall see. Other teams have got a bit of a bit more momentum. That was a crucial puck, don’t you think, Kate, from AdW? Absolutely. Over at 15 13 rather. Yeah, every shot now is so crucial. The margin at the top is fine. And uh I mean is Alice Houston if indeed their team do make the playoff if they answer pass by Kuska or team De Laour will she put herself out for Alice? Would it be Darcy Alexandria or Doa? It’s always interesting to see the thinking of a captain whether they’re going to back themselves or they back another player and depending on the type of the golf course as well. Yeah, it’s been a case of 99% of the times the captain has chosen themselves. Normally they’re the highest ranked player, most experienced players. Stunning views at New Career Country Club just outside of Soul and Polly Mack. One of those in contention in the individual team team dela core. Well, they are tied for the lead in the team event. Wow. Wouldn’t have been much club there for Poly Mack even though it’s gone on to the wrong green where we see our encourse commentator. There’s Amy Balden and um well you’ve seen several players I just saw Hu Kim use a fairway a hybrid. Polymat might not have had more than a seven iron. Well, we saw Daniela Darka break her par run at this hole. All pile since the third to started the day at three under now minus two for a third birdie in four holes to open up the gap again to two for the defending champion Kou Kim. at this time. Been a very similar round to yesterday, hasn’t it? Early drop shot, bounce back with a few birdies. Nothing spectacular. Just seems like serene progress right now. They’ll be off to 17 next. Good hold the 17th as well. Today it’s playing at 460 yards. So certainly if you’re Poly Mack or you’re a long hitter, you’ve got a chance of getting home in two and that could be and prove to be all the difference as we reach the closing stages of this team competition. But the second shot is all the way uphill. There you see we’re looking at the green on the right and it’s 15 on six from the left. So a good drive around that corner. If you go for it, you could well be rewarded. Opportunity to collect some birdies here on 17. Jenny Ding going down and teeing it up on the left side of the box. Opens up the hole getting a little fade. Uhoh, that rain has come back. Well, Amy is out there. Amy amongst the rain is following. Well, these final groups now. Yeah, the rain is back. Amy, just checking in with you there because we could see how hard that rain is falling. Jamie out there with these final groups as we watch Arian Clots. So now Darka is one of the few players not to put the waterproofs on today. But going along very nicely indeed. part of the conversation right now. Two back off the lead that’s held by Hoju Kim. Yeah, not what these players wanted towards the end of their round. It’s been a long round. The final four ball went off at just before 10 12. It’s uh just gone 5:00 local time. You can’t play from the the other greens, but take a drop. Yeah, unless you want the core superintendent to have conions if you were to. Definitely not allowed to play off those winter greens. Yeah, Amy, this is a sharp I would hope you would think short downpour, but it’s it’s pretty hard right now. Yeah, I’m hoping it’s going to be short. I am currently taking shelter under a tree to the left of the 15th green where we just saw Polymax. She had to take a drop. She hit it onto one of them winter greens. So, she took a drop. She’s chipped it up. She’s going to be left with about another one of them 10 12 ft for to save her car. Marine Delore hit her shot pin high. There’s been several of them left to right this one. We’re letting you know that the hardest hole on the golf course day is still the 18th hole as it was yesterday. That’s not going to get there from Dela Court. Yeah, with this rain coming down now, I think it’s going to really slow the greens up over the closing holes. We know how important putting is anyway, but especially when the pressure’s on. This team chasing the paces team right in the mix as well and that’s nicely played from the South African not the only one in birdie range by the looks of things. The team Brianna Neverosa Patricia Schmidt and Kuskova. So two opportunities right there. Remember they have a share of the lead on 18 under. Here is Patricia Schmidt. Well, three chances. A break on that part to come though for the German. Not to be for AdW just off the back of that really important birdie at 14. Couldn’t make the one here at 15. Bobby Mack with another one of those uh par putts to come. She can’t hold them all surely. Well, Poly Mack has been so impressive with the short stick today and yesterday. Let’s see if she can roll another important put in here. This one’s for part. Minus two for the day. Minus two for the tournament. She looks confident with the putter. She’s an aggressive putter. Is not leaving anything short today. So important to stay still over these putts with your head. She’s done it again. It’s been an extraordinary exhibition of pass saving putts from Polymac. Resilience and determination shining through from the German. Yeah, we always talk about how how long of a hitter she is, but how impressive is her putting? She has an all round game and that is why she is at the top of the leaderboard. Dor is going to need something similar here herself. Similar range P for Park. Just a slight bit of movement from the left on this one. Drop shot for Purine being on this par run and she breaks it with a bogey in a share of the lead overnight in the individual with Patricia Schmidt. She’ll now go back to one under Disappointment for the French player looking to go back to back on the ladies European tour after a win in South Africa. Let’s have a look at this 16th hole. A nice hole to go skiing down. You would think it would be certainly a couple of months ago you could have done that because there was snow on this golf course. But a straightforward path forward down the hill and there are opportunities here. It’s not long for these players at 373 yds. Last year, a couple of players got close to the green with their drives. Not today, though. Not with this much rain that’s fallen on the golf course, but you can flick it in with a wedge. Not much more than 100 yds in with the second where the hole is located today on 16. 17 on five from the right. Got to keep it left and the green does slope from left to right. But if you can do that, set yourself up with a chance of a three. That’s what this player has right now. Now this for birdie for Schmidt to get within one of Hoju Kim little bit of a wide. This is in team Kuska who uh like team Delore and team Houston are at 18 under par but team van picked up two shots at the 17th. So they have now moved into the lead at 19 under par. The one eagle at 16 came yesterday from Maria Hernandez. Interesting that the birdies from that team came from Vanam, one of the longest players, and Uhara, who’s one of the shortest players on tour, both birding that par five. She’s got the driver out. Possible. She hasn’t found the fairway. And that’s sat down. Well, they need at least another birdie if they’re going to catch team Vanam as it stands. Dak taking dead aim on 16 playing partners. One left, one right. Yeah, good job. They like it and so does she. And that ball is sailing down the middle for the captain. That’s a good line in as well coming from the right side of the fairway on a green that slopes left to right. Yeah. Good one. And no problems there indeed for Ellie. Also in a good place. Well, we mentioned that team Vanam had moved to 19 under par and this is how they did it. Ayaka Uhara a few moments ago, the veteran Japanese player Rolling that one in for Birdie, matching the one of Anne Vanam. Back to back. Birdies takes it to one under par as well. Remember, we started the day with only six players under par. We’re now into double figures. That makes it 10. Just shows you it’s been slightly easier out there today. Only slightly. And this was the putt from the Dutch woman who will be teeing it up next week on home soil at the Dutch Ladies Open. Yes. Yeah, that was a moment or two ago from the team Vanam and that is how they move to the top of the leaderboard. What a scorecard as well for Vanam. littered with birdies, a few bogeies in there as well, but uh ever entertaining Anne Vanam and a caddy there Thomas. So team Vanam with the edge over team Houston, nothing that Alice and her four can do. They are done for the day. Team Kuska though very much in the mix as is team Dela. Team Bronty Law also not out of it. You would say it is between those five teams to win the team event at this Aramco career championship. There’s only been three birdies so far over the two days on the 18th hole. So if you’re if you’re wanting at least two birdies on 18, it’s going to be hard to do so. It’s a lengthy second shot in. Certainly helps if you can crunch it a long way down the fairway. Big advantage to the longer hitters. Yeah, T-an Vanam. We saw her and Huahara rolling the parts. Marian Scartner whose last win was the uh PIF Global Series event in London back in 2021. She won the individual title there. Ursa the Victstrom 21 years on tour Kate and hasn’t lifted a trophy. She’s had nine runner-up finishes including one in the PIF Global Series when she was in a playoff in the team event again at the Centurion Club. It would be a wonderful story all round if I know it’s not an individual trophy but still hey a win’s a win. No one has played more on the le without winning or getting a first win on tour. Yeah, it must be a record. Yeah, she uh finished second last at the KPMG Women’s Irish Open in 2022, but she also lost in that playoff at Centurion Club. Her first came back in 2008 at the Finnish Masters on Home Soil. R16 a rather murky view than the one you usually get. There’s confirmation of how things stand in the individual. Darke’s bogey at the last means it’s a two-shot lead again for Kim. So here is the leader at 17. Certainly not the longest player for Kioju Kim. So needing a wedge to get up and down. Looking for another birdie. Put her foot down. Already has the lead. Oh, they would have liked that. The fans all over it. Oh, nearly pitched it straight in. Wonderful shot for Shouju Kim who is looking the business as she has done really the last few months. Darka, can she get close? Absolutely. Stop that dead in its tracks as well. trying to stick with uh a teammate and what will be her opponent tomorrow. It’s funny how rolls like that can be reversed. Back to 16. 94 yds for Pin Delore down the hill. Going to keep this one just a little bit left of this pin. Does slope from left to right. Can feed this one in nicely with a wedge here. Good birdie opportunity. Yeah, left it below the hole as well. Oh, remember trailing by one right now. Team Deacur. Vanam out in front playing the 18th hole with a oneshot margin. They’re 19 under. Tricky side to get close from Amy, isn’t it? Coming from the rough for Polymac. It is. This one’s going to release quite a bit when it hits the green. Going to have to keep this left of the flag in order to do that. But there you see, very hard coming from the left hand side to get it to stop short. She’s done. She’s really equipped herself well there. Well, they got that one surrounded and that’s a P for a birdie for Polyax. She’s hold awful lot of that length with for pass at the 16th. Earlier Pine caught up with Gabby. Well guys, this is an amazing pairing, isn’t it? Cuz you selected Maha and your friendship actually formed in Australia after being stranded there together. One, tell us more. And the friendships form in the strangest of circumstances, don’t they? Yeah, it’s actually uh we were she was stuck in the hotel. She was going to stay in the hotel with a typhoon and I was like, I don’t think so. It’s safe to stay. I have an extra room. And two hours later, she texts me. She’s like, I’m coming. I’m like, “Okay, I guess we’re going to have to start start a friendship like that.” You were forced. What made you change your mind? Well, I realized the gym was a 200 meter walk in the foresty bit of the hotel. So, I thought with the typhoon, that’s not a good idea. And then I was like, well, at least we can practice together. We didn’t really know each other much, but we could practice. We decided to do Pilates gym twice a day. So, it was actually practice actually. Yeah. No, practice did not happen. Well, yeah, we did go. We didn’t get much done, but we did go. It was uh too much rain. Too much rain. And again, well, we’re speaking in English now, but I know obviously being from Rocka, you can still speak French. So, have you two been chatting in French around the golf course? Yeah, we actually uh we just did it on the on that tea box because she made noise when I was about to play and she was hoping I didn’t hear it. And I’m like, I’m glad you I was in the fairway because you would have hear I the first thing I see at my ball going out is like, who dropped it? And then I look at her and I was like, “Okay.” And I had that guilty face. Like, you probably actually got to be careful because you probably forget actually a lot of the times where people can speak in English, but actually if you speak another language, you can probably think you can get away with it. Yeah. Yeah. Uh I mean, we haven’t spoken any French uh during the group because the two other girls don’t speak French. So, we thought we’ll we’ll stick to English, which feels pretty weird to speak to each other in English, but yeah, it’s it’s fun. But the team camaraderie overall has been amazing in this group, hasn’t it? Yeah, for sure. I mean, uh, we definitely have a good team spirit and that helps, uh, everybody, I think, for their game. So, it’s definitely, uh, something I’m looking forward to play more and more often on the course. Well, we hope to welcome you back for sure. It’s working well, ladies. Continue. Two holes left. Enjoy. A NBF’s new best friends. Isn’t that nice? That’s what golf’s all about, isn’t it? Travel the world, meet new people. Never know. might end up lifting a trophy together as well a month or two later after being forced together. That that could have worked out rather badly, couldn’t it? But I’m glad to hear it worked out well. And here they are now on the 16th green with those birdie putts to come. Ellie Given attempt on the 16th. She’s just off the green. She’s on the fringe. Oh, off the screen. Wow, what a big puck from Ellie Given. And that sends team Delore back to the top alongside team Vanam. And there are still some birdie chances to come here. And Vanam and her team will be unaware. Here is the Dutch woman at 18. Well, birdies at 18 are rare and um you can say from that is only going to have an outside chance. She’s two under par for her round today. It’s not all just down to her, mind you. Well, one already in for Birdie Deor now. Oh. Oh, she knew a few feet out that was going nowhere but below the ground. And this is a pivotal moment in the team event at this Aramco career championship. Team Deleor are back in front. I mean, how good was that? Just exactly what this team needed. Two birdies at a clutch part of their round. Poly Mack now for Birdie. Well, it wasn’t needed for the team event if you like because two best scores count, but in the individual that certainly would have been very important. Would have taken Polymack into second place on her own or rather would have Yeah. taken into second place on her own. It’s getting rather wet underfoot, isn’t it? Fin getting back to two under par then into a share of second up to Patricia Schmidt trying to go for this screen in two. Oh, very nearly got home on the par five. That was a good hit from the German. Yeah, this part of team Kuska. We can’t rule them out yet either. No. Well, they’re one shot back. Schmidt just shy of the green and two on the par five, 17th. Well, there you go. Team Deacort with those birdies at 16 moving to 20 under par but only one ahead of team Vanam who are coming down the last and team Kuska who are at 17 with Schmid as you say just short of the green in two there. You’d fancy her to get up and down maybe and get them alongside team Delore. So everything still to play for it is now between those three teams isn’t it? It’s kind of knocked team Houston and team lore out of things. They can do bit no better than finish at 18 under par. Koju Kim with another birdie look. Oh, she means business. Jack it off. She must have forgotten on that one occasion. Normally it’s automatic for her, but has the lead all by herself. Hoju Kim looking to put the foot down to get to five under for the championship. Yeah, really would put some daylight between herself and the chasing pack this for a three-shot lead. Oh, didn’t hit it. Oh, that was a big opportunity miss because that was a re that was a straightforward putt. There wasn’t much break. That putter has been very good to the Korean player over the last few weeks. And look, you can see on her face, she knows that’s a big opportunity missed. Still maintains the lead by two. This to though close that gap to one. This strange dynamic, isn’t it? Where you are teammates in the team event, but you’re very much opponents for the individual. Do you cheer her on or do you want to miss tentative stroke? You cheer her on today, but you certainly won’t be cheering her tomorrow. Just want to say we they’re coming to 18. We’re saying it’s the the hardest hole on the course. Kiara Neuer made a birdie at 18. So she birded 17 and 18. Came back in 32 for around a 68. That is a huge round of a golf for a player who’s struggled with injury, struggled with form, seems to be back. Yeah, it just shows the quality of the player as well to be able to do that. Delore has reached 17 the par five round the corner. Yeah, one of three players on two under pass. So in second place but in first in the team stakes. Yeah, that’s perfect up there now down that right hand side in good position. It’s quite narrow between those bunkers. And this is what we want to see from Poly Mack. The par five, one of the longest players out here. M going for it with driver. Yeah, it really is time for a Mac attack, isn’t it? And given the uh the overall situation, our camera operator I think bamboozled by the distance of that one. Might have gone past him or her. You would think that wouldn’t be her ball. Farley Mack hits it. Goes Vanam for Birdie at the last. Well, was never going to leave that part short for Vanam. Well, I’m being told that Vanam’s miss there means that nobody in that team Kuscover. Yeah. Waiting for confirmation of that as Shouju Kim waits on 18. We’ll pop back to 17. Schmidt close to the green in two. Oh, this needs to go. Oh my goodness me. Schmidt at a crucial stage of this championship, trailing by one in the team competition. Remember, it’s the best two scores on each hold to count. That’s a big opportunity missed there. There is another birdie chance to come here at 18. Two big hits from Ako on 18 as well. Yeah, this is the team of veterans, isn’t it? At 42, Scarald at 39, Vickstrom at in her 40s as well. What a good try. Oh, it was online. Yeah. Yeah. It’s not going to be enough. It seems a Yako Aara. What do you call the players in their 50s, Richard? Well, yeah. Well, hopefully playing on the Legends tour. Okay. There’s not too many, is there, playing on the L in their 50s. In fact, I can’t really think of any. Patricia Schmidt, poor Chip. Can she make up for it with the putts? No. By the way, Ohara hopefully will uh tap that in. We were told that was a birdie putt. I understand actually it was a par for Ruahara. But she’ll hopefully tap that in for a round of 70. It is one of those days where you need a hot drink, young or old. Yeah. Keep the hands warm and the hand warmers as well. Didn’t think we’d need those in May. Now we don’t know which fan club they are part of, but they haven’t got their outfits on. Well, whoever signed the cap, I would have thought I think they’ll try and get a few to sign the cap. Still waiting back on the tea. Dianiela Dar and Shoju Kim who were likely to be going out there you would think together tomorrow. Depends what happens with Pin Dakor and Polly Mack. Well, the leading team here they are on 17. Ellie unable to get home in two. This is the par five. Great aerial shot here of the second shots for these players. Can they extend their lead at the top and collect a couple of birdies on 17? Oh, he looks snug as a bug, doesn’t he? That little one. Yeah, we showed you the hardest hole. 17 playing amongst the easiest. Not many holes playing under their par. Those are the The five that are well they’ve hit the front team dela they could squeeze out another birdie here at 17. It may be enough. and Paceo may have other thoughts about that. This is in team Kuska. This is for a birdie to take them into a share of the team lead. Never missing. Never missing. Beautiful roll. Three birdies in the last five holes from Leanne Pace. So, am I allowed to call her a veteran? I think you’re very brave calling any woman in their 30s or 40s a veteran. I’m a brave man. You know, brave or stupid. Both. Yes. I’d go for experienced. Well, here’s another experienced player then in Ursula Vic. This for par. Unfortunately, it’s going to be a drop shot for Ursula there and team Vanam unable to make any progress on this 18th hole now. Certainly Pere’s got a chance here. Pin just 233 to the pin. 218 to the front of the green. needs everything she didn’t like it. Spun out of it as pin high. Oh, that is a horrible lie though for the French woman. Look at that. Right against the edge of the bunker. Something put her off there. She’s looking. Does she think it’s gone into the trees? I’m not too sure. Wonder. She won’t like it when she sees it even though it’s not in the trees. What do you do there? I suppose you just aim up higher on the green. Yeah. Aim to the right. And it’s not an easy shot to come though for Dor. No. Well, okay. Good stuff. Somebody’s told her that the ball is absolutely fine. She would have had a heart in her mouth for one moment then. Not sure. Absolutely fine is how I would, but I know what you mean. Playable. So, which territory is Pololly Mack gone into here? Look at this. just requiring an iron on the par five. She’s got 220 yards to the pin. Looks like she caught that head. Yeah, she did. Amy got away with it. at least avoided the bunker, the K the uh the bunker of Korea that’s over there shaped like the uh map of Korea and Vanam for a round of 70. Oh, nice work from an Yeah, unfortunately that’s the only par in this team. Btro Scott Nord and Uhara neither are going to make par. So they’re going to take a step back rather than what was required which was a step forward. This is a bogey part as well for Uhara and around a 70 for her as well. It was a good effort, but they will do no better than finish at 18 under par, which is going to be at least two too few. That’s where the 18th hole bites again. So difficult. The finishing hole here at the Aramco career championship there to looks like it’s down to two teams. Team Kuskova or team Delore for the team title. At the moment they are locked together at 20 underpart. Trophy up for grabs. Yeah, you would think that uh as we saw from team Van there, Kate for Kuska coming down 18. Yes, tied at the top. It depends what happens at 17 because 17’s a a good birdie chance, but 18 it’s kind of you want to stick with your score cuz you saw Team Vanam lost one there. They lost two. Oh. Yeah. But I mean because it’s um it’s the hardest hole in the golf course. They were on 20 under par. They’ve now finished on 18 under par because of the 18th hole. Yeah, it’s a good stretch of closing holes this you like it because you’ve got the par five 17th where there are the opportunities to collect a couple of birdies is reachable in two even though on that occasion with Poly Matt with just an iron in hand managed to stuff it up hit it fat. It’s difficult out there that’s for sure. But then 18 is a real test. You could take a run up at it happy Gilmore style with the two shots into the green. Yeah, team Tambellini the bottom there. But Kiara actually had a good day herself. 68. Of course, there are 26 teams and one of them was an all amateur team. This is Sio Jim Park who we heard speak some very good English a little earlier on in the team interview with Gabby. having to give that quite the whack. A little bit too much. Oh, that’s going to be quick with the return. Yeah, this team Siojin Park, Shu Jin Yang, Su Nam and Jang Wan Choy. Well done. To them or me? To both maybe. Yeah. got away with it really here. Polymac and she could have been in that bunker very easily and would have made it uh really tricky to try and get up and down from but still has the chance you feel really put this team into the ascendancy at the top of the team leaderboard. Given the distance that Polymac generates off the tea, an iron in hand on the par five. Now she’s got a tricky birdie putt down the slope. All of a sudden it’s become quite a tough hole for the German. It’s been all pars on this back nine, but really good pars. She’s had to do a lot of par saving really. Yeah, she’s had to dig. It’s a gritty round. Ah, look. Now there you see the ball of Deakor who has decided to go right of the flag. It will slope around anyway, but not that much. It was such a difficult shot. Couldn’t go at the pin. There’s one ball that’s closeish there, isn’t there? Having no back swing. So that’s either Ellie Given or Ma Adri who are in close. Siojin Park hopefully going to finish off and finish at two over par. A pity was going really nicely added 34 but that’s going to be back in 40 now for a round of 74. New combination as we said just at the start of the year. Jason Gilroy being actually out caddy believe it or not for nearly 30 years. Yeah. Now the Canadian Rosie Jones I think was his first main bag. They’ve got some good things to talk about as well. Yeah. Remember when we won win Yeah. the four championship that 64 in the final round was good. And how about the birdie on the first against Lilia Vu? I enjoyed picking up that win. He’d be a slightly different Hujukim I imagine would be somewhat different to Christy Kurr to Caddy for Yeah. American and Korean. Is that what you mean? Oh, I think a few more elements to it as well. Preferred lies in play. But it has been I mean All right, Sophie, I think has caught up with this group. I have there’s been a there’s been a wait on 18, so I’ve rushed forward. Yo, Kim has got metal in her hand. It’s 179 yards to that flag, but it plays a good club and a half up the hill. Solid. Not threatening the hole, but solid. Yeah. But what I think that confirms is that she will be the one they will be chasing going into tomorrow’s final round in the individual. Now, I was looking at why this hole plays the hardest on the golf course. It’s because the driving average is only 215 yards, which means most players have got that 150 to the front of the green, which is more like 170 long iron. Needed a longer iron for Clots. It’s going to be a tricky up and down now for the French woman. Yeah, that’s a team. Team Kim have never really been in it. They’re at 16 under par. Just good enough to be in the top 10. Dark. I thought she was in the bunker, but it’s missed it. It’s got a five iron. I feel like I’ve said that a lot on this back n7 flag playing 180. Very nicely done. Well, she may have Hoju Kim for company again tomorrow. Off to 17. Could do nothing more than put it here. Delicor. settle down. Well, over to her playing partners. Remember team Kuscover coming to 18 20 under par. This team here 20 under unless they can make a birdie between them. Looks like Ma’s favorite. Polly Mack though from the back. That’s not going to get there. Left herself another one of those for her knees will be knocking by the end of this round. She’s going to feel tired, isn’t she? 6 hours round and about 100 ft in par solved hold rather. Now every player will know exactly what’s at stake because there is that leaderboard on 18. M some players don’t like to look at leaderboards. Tell you what though, if they don’t look at it, their caddies certainly know what’s at stake and it will influence the club. Well, we know Ma Adi’s got a a birdie putt to come, but if she doesn’t hold that, we’re kind of all square coming down the last. If you can get two pars at 18, you’ll be happy. Oh, you’d take it. You’d take it. It’s the hardest hole all week. I mean, three birdies there have been so far today. That’s in the field of 104 players. Now, I would want this player on my team. Leanne Pace, multiple winner on the LE on order of merit champion, has been on tour for years. She’s won on the LPGA. Just having that experience will really help. Not the longest player out there. You kind of bank on her getting a par with an outside chance of a birdie. Next to go is uh the rookie in the team, Briana Navarosa. And she’s at the moment hovering around the cut line. She’s on the cut at six over. That’s the projected cup right now. Top 60 and ties will go through to the the final round on Sunday. She’s actually one under par for the day. So she’s playing very nicely and they like that one back on the tea. Marian Scarpord in exactly uh sorry can say did make the count as we saw earlier. Here’s the captain. He’s going to miss the cut. But everything to play for as far as leading her team is concerned. A rare miscar as well. She has been uh so consistent this season before this week. She haven’t finished worse than 33rd this season. and interesting given the way that she’s played if indeed it does come to a playoff will she put herself out there because her team members Lean Pace is two shots off the lead. Patricia Schmidt playing very nicely as well. Well, you would think Schmidt given the length of this hole would be the one. She’s the biggest hitter of everyone in this group. Deliberate pause at the top of the back swing. Now that’s fine. She didn’t seem happy with it, but no problems. I’m not worried. Yeah, she’s trying to hide. Oh, you can’t hide from us. We’ll spot you. get a core. Oh, good par really. She left herself in such an awkward spot up on 18. It’s been a another really good day for Hoju Kim. This would put the icing on the cake if she could roll this one in. The shooting stars wanted it. It was a good roll. Well, that will be a tap in half for Hoju Kim, but around it would be of 70 to add to the 70 of yesterday and a twoshot lead at this stage of the championship. Darka obviously still out in the golf course as well as Leanne Pace on 18. Well, she was the class act really, wasn’t she? in the field. World number eight defending champion Paul Mack for parter finally lets Polly Mack down. Has had so many of those for par today which she’s hauled. Yeah, eventually it’s cooled up with her, hasn’t it? The uh the team will come away only with par because I can tell you Ma Adwi had that puck for the lead but missed it. So they remain at 20 under par up on 18 green. Darka come on it needs legs. Oh Daniela. It’s been a solid day for the player from Ecuador. Even path for the rounded ball. I think it doesn’t matter to be honest. I think you have to. It’s a little bit squidgy there, isn’t it? I think there’s no doubt that’s embedded. It’s on the fairway anyway. So, it’s uh preferred lies. The one back for Mac. given where she’d driven and she’s made a bit of a mess unfortunately of this par five six in the end damaging for her individual chances and she goes to one under par which is at the moment in a share of fifth only her second bogey of the day. Now Jinny Ding, he won’t be through to the weekend. It’s a seriously tough day yesterday for Jinny. A round of 78. Playing nicely at the end of this round though, isn’t she? Yeah. Trying to fight back. A element of pride in this. Well, this is for her fourth birdie in the final six holes, which would take her within one shot of the cut line. I mean, it’s been a great fight back, but it looks to be in vain. Yeah, just got off to a rotten start. She was always going to struggle to make the cut and started bogey double bogey but encouragement here you know first time one would assume playing with a major champion in competition first player from Hong Kong to have a full ladies European tour card and it’s going to be a mis cut but only just in the end for Jinny Ding good fighting spirit the cut by the way has just moved to seven over par so if she had have knocked that in she’d have been the right side of the cut Yan pace make a good look and good think about how she’s going to play the second shot. Meanwhile, let’s go back up again to the 18th green where we join Daniela Darka in second place and this put for it to remain that way. in the mix for a first ladies European Tour title. Daniela Da. Look at that. She waited 15 holes for a first birdie and then she followed it with the first bogey. It’s going to be hard to catch this woman, isn’t it? very difficult, especially when she is number one on tour on the LPGA for final round scoring. It’s another round of 70 and every chance given the mood and the form she’s in that Shoju Kim will be lifting the trophy again tomorrow at the Aramco Career Championship. Certainly a player with a target on her back. She’s making it look very easy. And it’s also when you look at her demeanor, she is, you know, wearing stardom like a comfy pair of slippers right now. Absolute superstar back in Korea. Fans love her. Putting on a show. Well, she led by two going into the final round last year. It’ll be similar for her this time around as well. Team Kuska and team Delore though coming up 18. Nothing between them on the hardest hole at New Career Country Club. All to play for Yeah, a number of teams will have the if Onies about it, won’t they? Team Vanam had their chance coming down the last. Team Law fought hard as well. Team Houston setting the pace early on. 26 teams in all team park. Good effort just outside the top 10 for the team consisting four amateurs. Better day today for the team led by UI Z. They were 10 under path for the day as were team Bream helped by Helen’s impressive performance. Bogey the last but still shot a round of the 60. So many more rounds in the 60s today compared to yesterday. Remember there were only two scores in the 60s yesterday. We’ve had five today. Three 68s. Kiara Neua, Kiara Tambellini. And you don’t have to be called Kiara to shoot around a 68 because Sangon Park maybe her English name is Kiara. She also shot around a 68. 218 team Kuska with Leanne Pace. Pace has had three birdies in the last five holes and that’s an absolute cracker from the South African. Oh, that sets up a very makeable part on 18. That was a sensational shot from What a time to strike. That experience look cool as a cucumber. And now for the rookie who’s played great golf. 178 though, Fairwaywood and it’s found the green Sophie. It’s on the dance floor. Yeah. inside the cut line too. The quality of that shot from Le Pace though. I mean delivering. Yeah, there’s not many people that is going to get overroled by this situation. Oh, Pacy. He’s got I’m going to have a put to mate Birdie. Kuska’s got a long iron in here. 167 playing 180. leaning for it to move right to left. That’s going to be Oh, it’s going to be quick from back there from the captain. But I mean, you got one on the green, one in birdie territory. Patricia Schmidt still to go. Meanwhile, back on the tea to find the fairway on number 18. Looks like she’s leaning right here. She is. It is down that right flank. Needs a bit of a break. Could you see where that finished, Amy? Yeah, it’s just on the UPS slope. It’s not in any any real trouble. Just in the semi- rough down the right side. Second right shot for De Laour. Now the heat is on. Right on 17. Ellie Given teeing up on the left side of this tea box. Opening up the fairway. Yeah, just clinging on to the fairway down that right side. Getting just over 70% on the uh energy meter powered by Ramco. Maha next to play. She’s playing for the team now. She’s on plus N total. Well, they like it and for good reason as well. That’s going to be on the upside because that will give her a bit of hype with the second going in. Well, it’s getting tense now. I mean, they’re trying to stay relaxed. Stay tuned. They led overnight. Team Deor by one, but team Kuska have made a bit of a late charge at them. Yeah. All eight players on the 18th hole. They’re all locked on 20 under bar. Polly Mack last to play. She can reach that bunker on the left. Just got to be cautious of that. Yeah, worth reiterating at this point. The team event concludes today and you get the total of the scores from the two best scores in each team of four players. And given they’re playing in the 18th hole where there have only been four birdies throughout the course of the two days, any player who makes a birdie and Leanne Pace is in prime position to do that with two excellent shots in on 18. Yeah. You can’t say it definitively, but you would think that would be a putt to win the team event. Yeah, very very difficult to make a a three here. There you see backed up by the stats. 18th hole is the hardest on the golf course. One of the hardest of the season on the Ladies European tour playing over half a shot over its par. It’s a tough start and a tough finish around the new Korea Country Club. Yeah, it’s going to be interesting when they have the uh the international crowd here as well. I wonder what the conditions will be like here in October as well. Whether they’ll be wet as they are this week. Patricia Schmidt missed the green at 18. Oh, that’s an excellent sand. That’s an excellent play from the sand. Two have missed the green here, but two on the green. There’s two scores catch. Oh, and that’s the thing. You know what happened to Vanam? Vanam’s team actually dropped a shot on 18. They fell back out of the lead that they had at that point. So you got to make sure if Yan Pace were to make a three. Got to make sure the others are fours. Kuscover. This is quite a wet lie here. Chip and run. Send it outside the right. That’s a lovely touch. You kind of want to put it stone dead though. Make sure of your two fours and then Lean Pace can give it a run. But I mean the thing is I mean Sophie touched on it there. She is little miss calm isn’t she Leanne. She’s got her wife on the back in Analise Cordell a two times Ladies European tour winner. She is already a PIF Global Series winner. looking at taking this way right towards Lean Pac’s golf ball. As it dies, it will really break on her. Died on her though, completely. So, they’re not guaranteed the fours, the other three. Yeah, I was going to say Leanne Pace was part of the winning team in Shenzen. She was picked by Kiara Tambellini there. though that was only a couple of sort of events ago as far as the global series is concerned. Oh, you’d certainly want her on your team. Yeah, players have played over 250 events on the LE, hundreds of events as well on the LPGA tour. Takes it all in her stride. player that’s won 11 ladies European Tour titles, one on the LPGA. And this Sophie could be to win this team event. The ultimate team player in Leanne Pace. It’s been a gloomy day. This will shine some light on it. A birdie put two cups from right to left. What a birdie that is. And that could well be the winning putt for team Kuska. Liam Pace with four birdies in the last six holes may just have clinched it. What class from the South African? How good was that? I mean what that just the fifth birdie of the week at 18. Yep. But look at that. Four birdies down the stretch. They need to guarantee a four from one of the other three though. That will post the number of 21 under in the clubhouse for the only remaining team out on the golf course, De Laour. That can’t do anything but watch from the fairway back down on 18. And this one you’d think would really like to go cuz you wouldn’t want to leave it, would you? No. To you. No to you. If this one goes in, then the other two breathe a sigh of relief also from right to left. to guarantee making the weekend in the individual. Wonderful assured from the American rookie. Super 71. Great fight to make sure she’s here tomorrow. And also a thank you very much indeed from Sarah Kuska and Patricia Schmidt. Took a lot of pressure off their shoulders. Yeah. Well, that’s I’m glad it’s happened. I actually thought given the the manner of this 18th hole, someone might lose it by dropping a shot. Fantastic to see someone make a birdie to potentially win it. Of course, team Delore might make a birdie themselves. I know it’s rare here, but it could happen. Yeah, but having somebody like Leanne Pace on your team, huge weapon. Well, amongst only 10 players under par, here’s Patricia Schmidt. This to stay there. Shot 69 yesterday. And that’s a very good four for the German. Well, a round today of 74, but that was a good par on 18 and keeping her chances alive. She’ll start the final round three off the pace of Hoju Kim, who’s going to be very hard to hunt down, but it’s been a solid performance by Patricia. Well, it’s been a tough couple of days for team captain Sarah Kushkova. not what she’s used to as well because no one had been more underpar in total on the Ladies European tour this season. So, this is a rarity. It’s going to be a mis cut, but it could have be a miscut where she ends up lifting the trophy in the team event. That does sound confusing, doesn’t it? Lap of honor, but she pulls it out from the middle. Well done team Kuskova. 21 under par. They have set a new target in the clubhouse and it’s going to be a tough one to catch now for only one forome that can deny them which is team delort. Confirmation team Kuskova finish at 21 under par. Teen Da court must find a birdie amongst the four of them. Maha in the middle of the 18th fairway. 183 yds to the pin. Five iron. It’s into the breeze. needs to pitch this at least 10 on it. Running up the slope. Oh, it’s up there. Not threatening the hole though for the Moroccans. Going to have to hole out from off the green. Remember this team trailing by one. They need a birdie and a par to force the playoff. Amy, they do. And they don’t know the situation. They didn’t see Leanne hold her birdie putt. Ellie Given 179 yds. They need to make a birdie. Turned it over. Well, you’re not likely to be making birdie from over there. Two more still to come. Pin down the right side of 18. She’s got a good lie. It’s actually sitting up a little bit and I think that’s going to help the ball release up this green. So, she’s just going to be wanting to pitch this around eight yards up the green. She’s got 172 yards to the pin. Certainly went after it, but that’s going to fall off left as well. So it now comes down to Polymack. Well, she has once again hit a huge drive down this 18th. She only has 143 yards to the pin. That’s got to be one of the shortest shots we’re going to see on this hole today. But Amy, can she capitalize with that distance? She hasn’t been able to do that so far today. Yeah, her approach plays just not quite been on it today. You know, we’ve seen her hit so many of these long drives, but as you say, Kate, just not making the most of it. But it all comes down to this moment. Needing to hit one close here. well held the pose. Good high ball flight. Wonderful shot from Poly Mack. It’s very similar to where Leanne Pace left her opportunity. That was classy from the player from Berlin. Well, this is all rather exciting, isn’t it? It is, isn’t it? Volley M has been given team Delore a real chance. Yeah, really exciting finish to the team side of things at this Aramco career championship. And I think we’re going to see more of this moving forward in the PIF Global Series because last year, the last few years, we’ve had amateurs competing in the team event, three professionals and one amateur. And it’s fair to say that the amateur has been a bit of an unknown quantity with their handicaps. Yeah, I can have an 18 handicapper or a scratch handicapper. Now you’ve got four professionals in each team with the best two scores to count. And if this is anything to go by, this Aramco career championship, then it really does set the stage for exciting conclusions to these team events for the rest of the year. Yeah, we’ve had four or five teams really right up there in the mix. all the teams you can see there to be fair and we’re seeing some good shot making first from Leanne Pace and there from Polymac you know you’ve been critical and I understand why of some of her approach play today Polymatt given where she’s left herself off the tea but when it’s come to the big moment she delivered there that was the best approach shot we’ve seen her hit on this back nine absolutely brilliant yeah can’t fault her for that taking it on I that’s why I sit in the commentary box and she’s out on the golf course. She’s the player. Uh you feel that when she really does get to grips with those irions and if it were to happen tomorrow to win for the first time in her young career, she’s got the game. Just putting all the parts together, but has an opportunity right now on 18 to force a playoff alongside team Kuska. But remember her three playing partners, well, they need to make par for that to happen if she were to hold her birdie putt. They’re trailing by one. and he given first to go. Yeah, that uh is not what she wanted to deliver. This team have just had a this team have just had a little look at the leaderboard to the right of 18. So, they do now know the position they’re in and what they need to do. Prin just off the edge of the green. A delicate little chip here. Well tidily done. Leaves herself looking good for the par. It’s very much going to be on the shoulders of Poly Mack to deliver. And we’ve been talking very positively about her putting albeit most of them have been good pars she has held. Hasn’t had a birdie on the back nat. You wouldn’t expect it to come at the hardest hole on the golf course. Who’s next to go here? Amy, looks like Maha is next to next to play. She’s got pure. She’s just sitting on the fringe, so she is putting it. She’s probably in the best position she could be on this green with it being an uphill putt. They’re looking for a par and a birdie here. It’s uphill. It’s going to be slow. Just coming off the fringe as well. And not too much movement from her angle, go. Oh, that’s a hit. Well, we know the situation. And we know that Polym has to hold this birdie putt, but there is a couple of knee trembling putts coming up for par from the other players in this group. Yeah, we we we heard Gabby interviewing them earlier. Great spirit in this team, but it’s all gone a little quiet and tense right now and you can understand given the situation. What about this pup then, Amy? Well, I’ve been over. I’ve had a little look. It’s a slippery one. It’s down the hill and because it’s going to be fast, it’s going to take a little bit more break. So, it’s outside the hole from right to left. She knows the situation though. She knows this one has to go in. And we’ve seen how well she has puted over the course of today and yesterday’s round. Just going to want to trickle this down there. Oh well, what a great shame for Polly. Well, that’s it. Confirmation. Team Kuska are the champions in the team event at this Aramco career championship. Disappointment for team Delaor. That birdie miss from Polymat confirming that they cannot catch the awesome foresome led by Sara Kuska. Ellie Givens for a par up the hill. Bogey finish for Ellie. This 18th hole is so so difficult trying to find a birdie. That that per that Leanne Hall, I’ve got to say the experience that she has out here. Yeah, that was nerves. Round a 73 by the way for Ellie Given. It’s two over par. So just outside the top 20 and only six shots off the lead which is held by Hoju Kim. Oh, it’s been exciting though the last half an hour coming down the stretch here in the team competition. There is the tournament leader in the individual. All the focus will be on her certainly tomorrow. A lot of hats and things to sign before then to the green. Great competition, isn’t it? We’ve been focusing on the team event, but tomorrow we’ve got the individual competition to continue. Unfortunately, Maha won’t be part of it. Yeah, no more for Ma Adi tomorrow. Nine over par. It’s going to be a miscut for the Moroccan player. Still pick up a check though for the team competition. Second place in the team competition wins you $20,000. So not often you miss the cut and take home a check that big. Da has a chance to win the big prize tomorrow. A quarter of a million dollars. Near enough for the winning individual round a 73 today. Looking to go back to back on the le and hopefully the last putt of the day. just caught the right edge. It went in. Well, she had the chance to uh take us into a playoff in this team event, but despite their best efforts here, team Delore are going to come up one shot short. Well, I think it’s been a really exciting conclusion. It’s been a fabulous finish to this team event to get to within one shot. You had various contenders at different stages of the afternoon. It looked like it was falling in the direction of team Vanam. They fell away at the 18th. What a cracking finishing hole this is. Will it be the case tomorrow? And we know who, as they like to say, MVP is, don’t we, in this team event. I mean, and Lean Pace now second on the leaderboard individually as well, but she was the star of the show coming down that stretch for team Kuska. Oh, for sure. Four birdies in the last six holes. They weren’t easy holes as well. So to deliver under pressure, everybody can play good golf. It’s playing good golf when you have to and when you have to strike and that’s what has been really impressive about Leanne Pace. You’d always pick her to be on your team. 44 year old from South Africa helping Sarak Kusco her team with Briana Navarosa and Patricia Schmidt in taking the title here at the Aramco career championship for the team event. This is how it finished all down the leaderboard with the 26 teams. They will get to lift the trophy in uh a short while. Some really good performances out there today. Some really good scores as well. Leanne Pace with that round of 71 after she was three over par for the day by the way through six holes. So to shoot 71 was absolutely magnificent. team finale bringing up the rear but still no one’s gone lower than 68. We had three 68s today in two rounds of 69. Sanghum Park and the two Kiaras, Tambellini and Neua have both put themselves into contention with their rounds of 68. Great to see San Park as well showing a bit of form. from the former world number one who’s just slipped down those Rolex world rankings. And there’s confirmation of what should be an exciting final day tomorrow. A really good mix. You’ve got the major champion in Koju Kim, the experience of Leanne Pace, someone on the comeback like Kiara Neuer, last year’s number one in Kiara Tambellini. There’s a lot to potentially look forward to tomorrow. Absolutely. And you’ve got some rookies in the fold as well. And you’ve got young players like the teen Kiara Kiara Tambolini. You’ve got Polly Mack. You got Kiara Neua who’s a teen herself. So good scores as well. Couple of 68s around this track. They are really starting to get to grips with this golf course. It’s going to be a shootout tomorrow. You think it’s going to be Hoju Kim’s day. It’s going to be hard to bet against her. Yeah, you wouldn’t expect Hyoju Kim to shoot over par, would you? Tomorrow. So, they’re going to have to come and get her, which is not it’s not easy to press on this golf course. And she’s got an extra club in the bag because she’s got her fan club out there. And she says she really feeds off that energy. So, those shooting stars will certainly be there. But who will have a bigger fan club? I think that I think that Sunun just about shades it, doesn’t she? She does. Yep. The Nambdala fan club as we saw them earlier with Gabby. They will be out in force, especially as she’s come back with the 68. That’s got them excited. Caragana might have the chance tomorrow to get back to the number one spot on the ladies European tour ranking. She’s second to Mimi Roads who just missed the cut here in this Aramco career championship. Mimi fought hard. Actually, Mimi actually birdied the last to make it on the line. The cup moving to seven over par. That’s great fighting spirit from the English player. Yeah, that was a good strong finish those two birdies late on in the round. I mean, just shows you how hard it’s been these two days in these weather conditions that seven over par has been good enough to make the cut. Well, everything conspires against you. The rain, the length of the course, the the nature of the course, the fast greens. Daniel K, by the way, also finished at plus seven. Well, that’s good for Daniel Kang fans. 104 players teed it up at the beginning of the week. The team element is now done and dusted. Congratulations to team Kuska. But now we march on to the top 60 players and ties. And what a prize fund as well, Richard. You know, 225,000 US going to the winner. But sizable prize money for so many on the ladies European tour. Life-changing opportunity. Takes the pressure off for the rest of the year if you could put some money in the bank early on in the season. Yeah, even finishing in fifth place will win you more than $50,000 tomorrow. So plenty for these players to aim for. Obviously eight shots and nine shots back respectively the players on this page. But a good day could get you into the top 10 for sure. They’re not going to catch Kim and the the front runners. But lots to play for. Disappointing day today for Kirsten Raji 77 Kaiser Arafiel who has been the second best rookie on tour this season outside of Mimi Roads. There’s Brianna Navarosa a champion. She’ll be lifting the trophy with her teammates in a moment. And she’s had a also a rookie that’s had a super start to the year. She’s 25th on the order of the merit coming into this week. What a clutch puck that was as well from the American prove pivotal on 18. Yeah, seven over par in the end making the cut line. There’s questions whether it would do in the end, but it means that 69 players in total will play tomorrow’s final round. Well, it’s a a tough layout and a super field. Case of uh one trophy to be grabbed now, another one tomorrow. All part of this uh PIF Global Series that takes us around the world. We’ve been to Saudi Arabia. Here we are in Korea where we have confirmation that team Kuska take the title by just a single shot over team Delaor. And later in the year we’ll be off to uh the Centurion Club in England for the uh the third stop for uh the PIF Championship. We’ll have the Aramco Houston Championship in September and then the Aramco Shenzen Championship at Mission Hills in November. So, lots to look forward to in this PIF Global Series. New friends made and uh team Kuska will get their hands on that trophy soon. I think we got that leaderboard though. Yeah, you see the top 16s separated by just four shots. Close. Highly entertaining. 21 under par the winning score. Wonderful performance from Sara Kuska, Briana Navarosa, Patricia Schmidt and in particular Leanne Pace taking the team title here today. Yeah. So, not long now for that fabulous fort to get their hands on the trophy. Gabby is down there getting ready for us to be part of the winning presentation party. Ju Kim has the lead in the individual. But right now it’s all about the team event at this Aramco career championship. Team Kuska, your winners today. Hello. Welcome to the Aramco Career Championship for the presentation, the team presentation. Now over here to my left we have Khaled Radi representative of director of Aramco and also Khaled Nass the chief risk and compliance officer from Gulf Saudi here to present the silverware. And to my right we have the team champions with a score a final score of 21 under par with a dramatic end. Over here we have Sara Kuska, Leanne Pace, Patricia Schmidt and of course Brianna Navarosa. I’m going to start with you Sara because you’ve already been part of this winning team before but this is the first time you’ve done it as captain. Just how proud are you of you and your team? I am so proud of the team. I think it was such a good performance over both of the days and we just held up really really solid games I think everybody and yeah very proud. We’ve got to go over to the birdie queen here. Four birdies in six to close out the tournament and basically to win it really for your team. You must just be super chuffed. I’m so chuffed. Yeah, especially about that last one. I still can’t believe it. I had a three. We’re in there. So, I was like, I mean, you’re thinking about a par, right? But, yeah, it just happened that we make a birdie. So, yeah, proud of myself, proud of our team. I think, you know, you can’t win this tournament without a team. It’s been a brilliant team. We’ve got on so well and inspired each other. So, yeah, we just very thankful for that. How were the nerves on the last one? Because 18 was playing one of the toughest on the golf course and to birdie that in that fashion. Impressive stuff. Yeah, I missed the drive. So, I thought, okay, it’s going to be a bit longer. I didn’t think it was going to be 180 and uh uh it is one of the toughest holes but everybody hit it in the fairway so I know we had a very solid chance for for you know two pars coming out of that. Um so that helped a lot going for it. No and the camaraderie Patricia between this team was incredible. We spoke yesterday, we speak again today. Smiles and laughter all round. Is that the secret formula to a winning team? Absolutely. I mean we gave high fives whether it was raining, it’s not raining like to every single shot that was good. We just said, “Oh, yeah, great shot.” So, I think like to keep us no matter if it was raining or stormy or whatever, cold, uh, we just kept in a really good mood because whoever made a good shot, you like said, “Oh, great shot.” And then you were in a good mood to yourself as well. So, you want to celebrate it, don’t you? And it’s great to have all each other as well. And we’ve got to talk about you because last week you weren’t even in the tournament and this week on your rookie season, you’ve gone and won the team event. Just like, wow, it’s what dreams are made of. I know. It’s been a crazy last week and a half. I mean, I remember waking up to a text at 5:00 a.m. saying, “Hey, you might be in Korea, booked all my stuff, and now I’m here with the winning team and the best team.” So, I’m super happy to be here. Winning team and the best team. Well, it certainly is that 21 underpar. Here we have our team champions, the Arana Aramco career championship. It is team Kusk, please. Khaled, one of the Kaleds, please present over the trophy to our team champions. Right, everybody, let’s make some noise in the crowd. Here we are. 2025 team champions team Kuska. Yeah, it’s a big trophy, isn’t it? You need the four of them to lift it really. They put in the hard graph though. and Sarah Kuska, Lean Pace, Patricia Schmidt, and Briana Navarosa lifting the team title here at this Aramco career championship. They all combined so beautifully to stitch together that score as well of 21 under. when one of them wasn’t playing well, the others lifted them up and they ham and egged it very well. But wow, certainly could have done it without Leanne Pace, who really was on fire on that back nine. And for Leanne now as well, a real incentive to take that into tomorrow. She’s now one behind Shoju Kim in the individual. It’ll be interesting to see whether she can maintain that momentum that she’s obviously picked up confidence-wise at the end of this second round. And Lean Pace has nothing to lose. She’s got 23 professional wins. Hoju Kim is expected to win. So all the pressure will be on Hoju to successfully defend. She’s the world number eight. Lean Pace is certainly not in the top 10 of the world rankings, but she can go out. She knows how to play this course well. And so Leanne really is in with a very very good chance. If you look a little bit further, where could the threat come from? Kiara, another 68, get it to five under. Yeah, with her distance around the golf course. Could well be. Kiara Neua also, I mean, that’s been a long time coming for her. I know she’s still only a teenager, but terrific round from both of the KR. Go on. Kate, you were going to say, well, maybe Sun Hyong Park. I mean the former world number one. We’ve seen her shoot 64 in a final round before to win. Amy, wouldn’t it be exciting for the Nambdala fans? Well, it’s been a terrific conclusion to the team event at this Aramco career championship. There is still one more trophy to be won and it’s the defending champion they all have to catch. Bye-bye. Heat. Hey, Heat. Heat. Heat.
