He’s been out here as long as I’ve been alive, so that definitely helps. I’m Michael Thorbjornson. Come play a hole with me. That was spinning too much for you. Yeah, I don’t I’ve gained a good amount of spin these past I’d say month. We were fighting too little spin at the start of the season, like 1,900 and almost exactly now we’re approaching 3,000. So I’m losing distance at this point. So, you won PG Tour You last year, right? I think it’s great what they did. Like kind of those first six months, those first 10 starts is kind of like uh freebies in a way, just like get used to it, see what it’s like. Found out the hard way that you play a lot of golf. Yeah. So, you finished second in like one of your first tournaments. Did you kind of like burn out toward the end of the summer? I’d say so. Yeah. I mean, I did I think eight weeks in a row and that was something I’ve never done before. Or even doing four in a row I feel like is pretty good stretch. You got Lance Bennett on the bag this week. Super super experienced. He said to me, I said, you know, he’s starting to play well. And he said he said he’s starting to get it about you. What what does he mean by that? Like what’s what’s been good these last couple weeks? Um I mean I’m starting to feel healthy again. I’m not sure if you heard, but I had mono at the first tournament of the the year. Oh man. So kind of dealing with that. And I thought it would take a couple weeks to I think for Lance to get used to me and vice versa. But I mean, I think every single week we’re always learning something more about each other and it’s just getting better and better that chemistry. So, basically, right at it. Go. So, we’re playing a pretty we’re playing I should say you’re playing a very pretty cool golf course right now. Are you a golf course guy or is it just kind of a job for you? Um, I am a golf course guy, but I don’t really pay attention to kind of who designs it. But I love the look of it. Like obviously northeast golf is like what I grew up playing and that’s my favorite type of golf. Yeah. What’s been the biggest difference between tour life and college golf? Just did travel. I’d say I mean normally in college it’s like you play one tournament, you get two weeks off, one tournament, two weeks off. But out here it’s like four weeks on, one week off, four weeks on, one week. Especially when you’re in your scenario where you’re like trying to get into stuff, right? Exactly. Yeah. Like if you if you’re into all the signature events, you can be a little bit more selective. Yeah. You just got to pedal to the metal. You got to go. I got to play as much as I can and as best as I can.
