Ghost Golf GT 14 Cart Bag Review | Best Golf Cart Bag 2025? Full Golf Gear Breakdown!

[Music] Hey, how’s it going? My name’s Joel and in today’s video we’re going to be talking about this GT14 cart bag from Ghost Golf. Now, I’ll be the first to say that I’ve never owned a cart bag before. I’ve always been a carry bag purist and I love my Ping Hoofer, but just through about six holes playing with this thing today, and I’ve already fallen in love. The amount of pockets we’ve got are amazing. The 14-way fulllength dividers for each club have really sold me on the value of a dedicated cart bag. And as a guy that really doesn’t walk that much anymore, this is starting to look really attractive. So, in this video, I’m going to take you through all the features, tell you what I like, tell you what I don’t like, and see if this is the right bag for you. All right, so before we put this thing on the cart, let’s talk about all the features that it has and the reason I like it. It’s got an upgraded finish on it. This is PU leather, so not genuine leather, but PU leather, and that means it’s going to resist a lot of the weather out there. It’s going to be very waterproof. It’s got some gorgeous finishes on it. I really like this front handle. It’s really handy to pick the bag up, but it’s also wrapped in PU leather with stitching around the front. Each club goes into its own individual divider. They go all the way down. Easy in, easy out. And if you’ve carried a stand bag before, you know how annoying that is to have clubs get caught in there. I haven’t had that happen once on this bag yet. So, I really like that feature. Going down the side, you’ll see tons of pockets. We’ll get to those in a minute. But, I’m going to flip it around front so you can see that we’ve got a fulllength umbrella holder. It just goes in the notch down there. And we’ve got our strap, which on a stand bag is probably the most awkward part because the bag feels like it’s flipped upside down, which is really odd. But if you’re just going to carry it from your car to the cart or the clubhouse, this works out well. But look at the branding on here. This is a plush, really soft, comfortable strap. It’s got big metal buckles on it here. And when you’re not using it, you can tuck this right behind this strap so it doesn’t get in the way on the cart. So, it’s all concealed back here. It’s got a handle right here as well if you needed to pick it up from this side. And there’s Ghost Golf branding everywhere, including, check this out underneath. Let’s talk about how it goes on the cart, then I’ll show you some of the pockets around it. You’ve got handles on both sides here, as well as the front. And when you stick it up on your cart, you’ll see that it’s got this path pathway, this pull through. And right here, check this out. This is reinforced ribbing, so it doesn’t ruin your bag. The strap doesn’t ruin your bag. And your strap’s going to go through here. So, watch this. Strap is going to go behind our umbrella, through the slot, and then watch. Oh, where are we going to go? Lift this up. Boom. And check this out. reinforced kind of a harder plastic material here. It’s to protect your bag. This goes down and then come around this side. We’ve got a pull through in case you’re on the other side of the cart. But on this side now, we’re going to skip it. We just go through and lock it in. And look at how easy that locks in. This is the beauty of a cart bag. It’s made to be on a cart. It’s made for all the things that you do on a cart. And it’s got so much storage that we can do almost anything and take everything with us. [Music] So, on the back, we’ve got three really important pockets. This top pocket is a magnetic close pocket. This is where I put my rangefinder. Got it inside here. And it’s got a magnetic close on it, so it’s nice and tight. It’s got this pull right here. And even check this little pouch out here. This little mesh pouch, I keep a USB cord because for my phone or for my rangefinder that charges via USBC and this thing is velvet lined just like the top for the clubs, velvet lined inside. Your rangefinder goes in there really nice and secure. And if you’re a guy like me who often leaves his rangefinder on the cart, put it in your bag every time. And with this magnetic clasp, quick open pocket, that’s easy to do. Right below that, we have this insulated cooler pocket. two zips down. And check it out. We’ve got two full bottles of water in there. You could put beer in there, soda, anything you want to keep cool. And it’s a really handy place. The back of that pocket goes into your ball pocket, which has this huge mouth. This is where I keep my balls. And this is removable. This is Velcro down here on the bottom. You can remove this and get it customized. Get your name on there. You better be a player if you show up with your name on your bag, though. So, just beware. But these back pockets are where it’s at. And right alongside on each side, you have these extra pockets which expand. You can put water bottles in there. But check this out. You pull them out. You’ve got all this room, this adjustable strap. But watch this. When you put them back, they magnetize back to the bag so it doesn’t flop around. Then on each side, you also have a spot for a marker right here, one on this side, and one all the way around here. And you have the same expandable pocket on this side here. [Music] I mean, there are not only a bunch of pockets on the back, we’ve already talked about that, but there are pockets up and down each side. You get three big pockets on each side. So, you’ve got this front pocket, which is a great place to keep um any kind of, you know, accessories you need. On this side, I keep my tea bag in there, my glove bag where I keep my glove, all sorts of stuff. Then above that, you’ve got a valuables pocket that’s lined in felt. I don’t know if you can see that, but it’s lined in felt. Good for your phone, your wallet, your keys, your wedding ring, whatever you’re taking off. It’s even got this little hook inside you can hook keys to. Then before we talk about what’s in here, I want to mention that this I almost forgot about this is your bag of swag that you get from Ghost. You’re going to get a marker. I’ll just put that in my bag. I didn’t even know that was in there. You’ve got a bag tag. Pretty cool bag tag. And you’ve got uh a ball marker so you can mark up your ball. And check this out. Goes right here on the snap. Boom. So you’re never without it. Not to mention, oh, this is so cool. This hook here, you can put a towel on it, clip it on there, or take it off. That’s a bottle opener. Open a If you’re going to open a bottle in the golf course, this is the way to do it. Then also on both sides, you have a Velcro patch, or should I say the loop portion of hook and loop. So, you can take your glove, stick it there, you never lose it. I take my glove off. I don’t like to put it in my pocket. I throw it in my cart. Sometimes it flies out. This means that every time I go to putt, my glove is right here where I left it. So, I can use that, pull it off. There’s just so many things to love. But on top of all that, this huge pocket hides one of the nicest rain covers that I have ever seen. This is the same PU leather material as the bag. It’s got the Ghost Golf logo and branding on the back. It’s got these nice buttons or snaps, hooks around like this. And then you’ve got a full zip across the back. So if you were actually using this in a tournament, you would get this all, you know, seated and situated around your clubs just like this. And when you go to get a club out, all you do is unzip this, pull your club out, and you’re good to go. And one more thing about this big pocket, I almost forgot. This also has insulation on it on both sides. You get this on both sides. insulation on the bottom and drain holes right here so that if anything wet gets in there, it’s going to drain out. Then you’ve got a mesh pocket up top. This will be a good place to stick anything else you needed in this pocket. But big giant open mouth. You’ve got this awesome pull and uh they’ve g given you some more of these pulls in your goodie bag that you can add to the other zippers if you want. I really couldn’t be any more impressed with this bag than I already am. And this is my first time out with it. I’m only seven holes in today. And I’ve already seen the convenience of these 14 different dividers, each club having its own spot. The only thing that’s kind of annoying is that if you’re going across the fairway, like today, it’s cart path only, and you’re trying to grab three clubs, you can’t just like grab them all with one hand like you do in a regular bag, and then you can’t stick them all back in at once. you have to put them back individually. But I think I’ll sacrifice that for the convenience of having everything right here, nothing getting stuck. And it really is highquality material. You get what you pay for. This is a little more expensive than a standard bag, but it is beautiful. The design and branding is awesome. It’s got all the functionality you would want in a bag, and I can’t think of one single thing that I would change. So, that’s it. That’s everything we know about the Ghost Golf GT14 cart bag.
