It’s time for the sixth Signature Event on the PGA TOUR schedule, and the TOUR ’s best heads to The Philadelphia Cricket Club’s Wissahickon Course. This week also marks the return of Rory McIlroy, who is set to play his first individual event since his Masters triumph. Although it’s a different course, McIlroy is still the defending champion of the tournament. The Philadelphia Cricket Club is an architectural gem from A.W. Tillinghast and will be a one-year fill-in for Quail Hollow Club, which will host the PGA Championship next week. Joining McIlroy is Justin Thomas, who will tee it up once again after his win at the RBC Heritage, as will other top players such as Ludvig Åberg, Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa and Hideki Matsuyama.

Yeah, just 126 yards and a a good one inside 15 ft there for Ricky sponsors invite this week and he pays it [Applause] off. It’s a front hole location just on 11. Again, we’ve talked 109 yards. Get him on these putting surfaces and watch out. I don’t really hit it heavy. Now Fowler after birding the first. A great chance at the second. The spin and it’s landed on a bit of a downs slope. See the short of the green chasing it up. Yeah. Trying to get it right there in that color change which he did beautifully. creativity is. Yeah, that was really good, guys. Oh, well done. Good call by Graham as well. This has to get close. He’s also got some slope to the left of the hole. It’ll get the ball a little bit closer. Yeah, like that. Yep. Joe Grinder making his debut on the bag. Hit a little fade to this left hand flag. Signature ball flight from Morawa. So this is a good look for two in a row. Good call there. Putting from the proper position on the green. Hey, putting [Applause] it’s just a mistake you can’t make. Fran got start uphill a little bit at the hole and a little right to left. 12 feet for Mroyy’s birdie. Perfect. Yeah, and just the 60° 91 yards. This I’m sure will win the long drive of the week here. The six. Right at it. That was a 358 yd drive for Mroy. Uses his wedge, brings it into just a few feet. Yeah, this place is really cool. I thought you and really playable when you hit it in the right spot even when you miss it in the right spot as Korakawa did there. So the four-time champ in the mix again 2012 champ Ricky Fowler sponsor exemption this week making the most of it at the sixth Colin Morales three under through five at just 128 yds and that whole location tucked over there in the back right should suit him nicely. drove it to the end of the fairway. This is just a flip and a wedge in here at 11. [Applause] This is at the second hole. Denny McCarthy has already played 10 holes now. He’s five under par and just a wedge left here at the second. And he’s going to have another good look at birdie there. McCarthy [Applause] Never gets old watching him stroke it. Uh putter does it. But the biggest build out there cannot see where the ball lands. And a beautiful shot there by the Irishman. That’s where he’s aiming with the whole location being here on the front left. [Music] Wonderful little cut shot in there by a left playing out of the rough. I don’t mind it cuz you can chase it up a little bit. Don’t have to worry about the spin. That’s what he did. Wow, how well judged was that? Great shot. Right about 8 feet from where he’s putting that. Brow should knock it to the left right there. Oh, that’s an excellent putt. Sam Davids effort. I’ll take you back to 18. Keith Mitchell looking for one at the turn here. There you go. and looking to validate one of those four sponsor invites granted this week. Normally one of the best short arm players. The win has to come, right? I think that’s uh why the caddy change came just 116 left. Has improved so much from this distance, but this is long and left. better now. High standards, Smiley. High standards. Much better wedge control, distance control. Top 10 in part. Very positive stroke there. Europe to five. The hat of Denny McCarthy is third. Yep. Well done. would wager on him making that one McCarthy’s best field. The par five, Sam Stevens trying to pitch it close. Little ridge right there. He gets over that and well done from the rough. Really well [Music] done. This is a little downhill. T-shots blind. Just a short iron hand. Front flag is good shot. So McCarthy to get it to eight under. Speaking of confidence, he is just rolling it today. Look at that cart. [Applause] While we wait up to Fowler at 15 that 60 on tour for Denny Mroy 14. Yeah, this is low launch high spin here. Right at it. Bringing it back or no? No. And it’s going to be pushing a little right to left in the beginning of this putt. He’s looking for left to right late. I don’t know if it does it though. Oh, it does it. Boom. [Applause] Something like that. He’s feeling it. He sure is. You said that from the outset. And was redot early on. Putter going as expected. Other side. Seventh hole. Keith Mitchell at seven under. So he’s one back as well. Sponsor exemption. He and Ricky Fowler. Two of them. Two of the four in the field this week. Great shot. Great look share from Mitchell. So and Keith Mitchell co-leader this on a good line if it gets back there and it does. He flew it all the way to the hole. That’s 222 yds to that hole location. All right. This to take the solo lead at nine underpar for Keith Mitchell. Last guy in the field as well, coach. I mean, are you kidding me? This first round stat is nuts. It’s nuts to me. I know he has a ton of offense, but Fowler in the fairway. That’s a six line. A little puff of breeze. Aggressive line. Oh yeah. Left to the flag stick. Yes. bouncing back after the bogey at 17. 63 for Ricky Fowler. Thanks for watching the PJ tour on YouTube. For more videos, click here. To subscribe, click

  1. o no , bahtia and mcarthy in same tourny, hope bahtia dont fist bump and hurt his small weak shoulder again and call a timeout so he can stroke one off,😳, he shooda ben dq'd for that pathetic weak sht

  2. Won't be surprised when news outlets make articles for the first round and only talk about Rory even though he is five strokes behind like a bunch of other players.

  3. Scheffler may have made a good tactical decision not to play here. He gets a week to readjust from his birdie fest to a more grinding approach that Quail Hollow will probably require.

  4. Seeing Rick play super well in a classic orange fit makes me very happy. Just need that short hair back.

  5. Keith shoots -9 and doesn’t get his own highlight vid 😂 bc we all know he’s a first round alpha, but that’s been about it this season. Finish strong Keith!

  6. when are you going to hold rory accountable for stealing someone phone on the course and when are you going to stop being morons about wesley bryan getting ban

  7. There is a 358 yard drive from the master's champ. Should we show it? Nah that would be good editing and ACTUAL highlights. Delete the clip. PGA editors never fail to impress. 🤣

  8. You guys really need to adopt the hour long highlights that fox sports does for live. Actually gives an idea of how the tournament is actually going. Way better than a bunch of putts.
