Hope my body fatigue is very high. I can see the finish line which makes it just that much easier to kind of keep pushing through and digging to a new level and pushing myself to new height. As long as I keep getting better, it’ll keep it’ll keep working. What’s my definition of success? Creating something else. Last year I did it over and over again and we’re going to do it again. ain’t brave enough to dream. Brett when you’re told to just quit quit living more when you got nothing left. Person that’ll take a chance on something they were to never happen. It’s a person that can see the bright side through the dark times when there ain’t one. It’s someone who ain’t never had nothing. Ain’t afraid to walk away from more perfect cuz they rather do something that they really love and take a pay cut. It’s a person that would never waver or change who they are just to try and gain some credibility so they can feel accepted by a stranger. It’s a person that can take the fails in their life and turn them into motivation. It’s believing in yourself when no one else does. It’s amazing what a little bit of faith came through. If you don’t even believe in you, why would you think or expect anybody else that’s around you, too? I done did things that I regret. I done said things I can’t take back. Was a lost soul at a crossroad who had no cooked. I’m actually a little sore from yesterday. You How you doing, brother? Good afternoon. Oh, that’s cool. That’s me. How can I help? I need the day pass for us, too. And then the boys are just filming. I don’t know if you have a filming pass. Thank you, brother. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. I wish they would have done it a little better. These turned out cool. The design just the they printed it too black on black, so it blends in a little too much. Um, but they are fixing it or we are fixing it and we will still have shirts to you guys by the showtime. So, don’t worry about that. And these will also be some cool freebies or giveaways or when you buy something from the site or one of these, maybe we’ll make sure that you get a shirt for free as well. So, it it’s a little thing we can have in our arsenal to be able to give back to you guys still. Uh, but they didn’t turn out how we wanted it to, so we’re not going to make you pay for them. Same bread and butter movements as always, guys. Not changing things up now. last week just lightening things up. So you guys know already the load is like 70%. And then no intensifier. So especially being here by myself, that’s a little bit easier. I don’t have a partner yelling at me, screaming at me, pushing me. Um it’s just mostly focusing in on that contraction, squeezing, and then going over check-ins this morning with boss. Um he was really on my ass about not pushing myself too hard. My body’s really close to that final point of being a little bit too rand. Um, but we just have a few more days until we fill out. So, we don’t really want to have to feed me until then. So, we’re just kind of trying to ride that wave of keeping me alive but pushing. Um, and that’s that’s a a risky one here if I push too hard in the gym. So, just have to be smart here. Get contraction so you guys know we’re keeping inflammation off the muscle so we’re not training things to failure. And then just making sure that the muscle is working how it’s supposed to so that I can hit it in the poses right. my back especially. We’re gonna work on getting it open today. Lots of stretching and stuff like that. And then tonight I’ll get work to really finish getting open. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Feel good. Feel sore from yesterday a little bit. And body is definitely my body fatigue is very high now. I can see the finish line, which makes it just that much easier to kind of keep pushing through and keep my chin high. I’m very proud of this look. Uh, what I looked like this morning was [ __ ] sick. I’m I’m very proud of this. Digging to a new level and pushing myself to new heights. So, that’s what this is about. And, uh, you’re just coming better every time. You, you know, that’s something I take a lot of pride in, guys. And last year, I did it over and over again, and we’re going to do it again. And that’s that’s the coolest part about this. we can just keep improving, keep getting better. And you know, the championship and the titles, that’s only a matter of time. That’ll come with time. But as long as I keep getting better, then it’ll keep it’ll keep working. So, I’m very happy with this. Like I said, guys, that this is going to be 8 10 lbs up in a very short period of time. And uh even Tyler said yesterday, seeing me in person, it’s very, very noticeable how much tissue I put on. So, I’m excited to display this one, guys. And I hope you guys are excited, too. This is actually a pretty dope gym. And they have a lot of cool pieces in it. It’s just really crowded cuz it’s such a small because like how much room we have. Yeah. It seems like old school gyms never give you guys any room. [Music] Hey, [Music] hey, hey. [Music] Okay. [Music] Yeah. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Aha. Hey. Hey. [Music] Uh-huh. [Music] Hey there. Yeah. [Music] [Music] Hey, come on. [Music] [Music] [Music] Can’t feel it. Anything? Hollow. Hollow. I feel hollow. Oh, it’s like maybe like rep 8, 9, 10, 11, 12. I can like feel a little pressure and as soon as I set the weight down, it’s like gone. [Music] [Music] Yeah. Yes. [Music] [Music] This place is crazy. I guess it’s Sunday, but still for 2:00 p.m. [Applause] Yeah, yeah, yeah. [Music] Hey, hey, hey. [Music] [Music] Is it the pass? Yeah, it’s just like swoops. They make a plate loaded version that’s better, but still really good. This is like the second generation cuz they tried to put rear delts with it. So, it’s not as good cuz this thing kind of moves and it’s not just fixed. But if like if we owned it, we would just put a band that held it tight so it doesn’t do that. [Music] [Music] Yep. M. [Music] [Music] Hey. Mhm. [Music] Mhm. [Music] [Music] [Music] Mhm. [Music] [Music] [Music] Uh get out [Music] They have a peek deck in that back room, right? When we did that posing back there. I I need to do rear delts. What? Oh, [ __ ] I paid somebody to film me here last time. I The lighting in this room is crazy. Jake. Oh, I knocked the I grabbed the magnet. Just getting to put on my headband for right now while we’re back here. Yeah, for [ __ ] long arm jakes and short arm martins. Especially for as flat as I am, it’s still making me look crazy. Good. Yeah. This feels weird. Steve, I was [ __ ] with Alexis. All right, guys. So, if you watch the Prague vlogs, you know I pulled the trick on Alexis and shaved into a mustache. We’re going to make a little game out of it. So, today I got the Stone Cold Steve Austin on. Let’s go see if she likes it. All right, babe. I shaved my face. What do you think? Oh, Chie doesn’t like it. What’s this called? Going. Yeah. Stone Cold Steve Austin. You like it or no? I do like it, actually. That’s funny. She doesn’t like the mustache, but as long as I keep the chin, I guess it’s okay. What do you think? I told the vlog we’re gonna make a game out of it since probably you love the mustache so much. We’re not keeping the mustache. That’s hilarious. Yeah. I went in I was like, “Alexis, you like my stone gold Steve Austin?” And she was actually She was like, “Oh, yeah. I actually do.” Carter and I were like, “What? I That’s why I shaved it. I was like, “No, I look way too much like my dad. I don’t like that [ __ ] Not at all.” And that’s like like, you know, when your dad’s like had a facial hair your whole life. My dad’s literally had a goatee my entire life. Like I’ve I’ve seen him with a mustache once cuz they had to do a respirator fit and like literally I’ve never seen my dad any other way. goatee, maybe a full beard like two or three times in my life, but literally like from the time I was little all the way up, always had a goatee. So, I was like, he’s always got to have some and like this ain’t I don’t No, we already look enough alike. I don’t need to have the same facial hair, too. Especially with the red in it. Yeah, it really looks like it. I know if I train much longer, boss is going to yell at me. He’s not here yet to yell at me, but Uh-huh. Yeah. All right. Can’t wait to see what I look like with some carbs in there. Yeah. [ __ ] Oh. Heat. Heat. 30 lb shouldn’t feel that heavy. Heat. Heat. Ready for a nap. First night to sleep with prep last night. It was horrible between the AC and then this. Bro, I don’t know what the [ __ ] the dog’s problem was last night. Callie was kept trying to go under the covers but is panting and [ __ ] Yeah. like doing circles and [ __ ] cuz she’s so hot under the covers. And then Bonnie kept trying to lay on my [ __ ] head. I bet I put her down by my feet like four times. I’m like, “God damn it.” I’m like, “Go lay where the fan is. Heat up here. Just finished posing. Best I’ve ever been. Holy [ __ ] that’s a sick look. Can’t wait to see what coach has to say. Went through everything. Back looks great. Filled out nicely, even though there doesn’t feel like a great session. Not a great pump, but you guys know the drill. There it is. What’s up, crew? What’s up, bro? How you doing? Now, the only complaint is our stinking Airbnb AC is not working. Oh, but that’s all right. Well, is that is that pretty? Mostly just sucks for sleeping, you know, when it’s super hot. But at least it’s Pittsburgh, so it’s not Texas and we can keep the windows open and it’s keeping it like it’s keeping it reasonable in there. The apartment’s still pretty hot for some reason. But so yeah, bro. So they looked at me honestly and like their only thing they just said like they want to see my back a little more opened up in that same lat spot, which it’s from sitting on the plane like this. My just everything got tight like in my back here. So that lat in that trap is just super locked up again and that’s like open that up. Yep. So that in my upper body and then this like sciatica hip in down into this knee is bothering me. But it’s not like terrible. Cosmetically it looks fine. So like let’s fix what needs to look pretty and I can deal with like a little bit of discomfort in the satica and then we can get to this whenever we get to it. So they looked at me last year before the Olympia. Mhm. And most of my feedback has been like about getting my back opened up. Yeah. And mobility and stuff and posing, right? And like that was one of the biggest comments they were like, man, like we can see drastically. Like I can still improve, but like it’s improved hugely. Like being able to get my arms back, my lats are finally coming out now. And it’s about the the whole, you know, it’s not just like it’s not just my work. It’s also the work that you’re bringing in other people. You’re getting you’re you’re taking care of yourself. It’s like it’s the hard-hitting session and then the maintenance. The maintenance. The maintenance. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly, bro. That’s the cool thing. Like, but we built Oh, I’m excited about this. Well, Martin glows. It’s still so white. Hey, I’m dark now. We say it enough. I’m sure it’ll happen. Compared to what I was the first time you worked on me. Yeah. I was like glowing, right? Yeah. Yeah. All right. I was going to start actually, you know, I’m going to start a little lighter. Whatever you think. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It should stop fairly quick. Yeah. That’s what I’m thinking. The one thing I’ve been training now training has like this back to like 70%. So, I’m not really lifting heavy. Look at this right here on the lower back. Look at how beautiful that triation is coming out. Can you see it? Yeah. Really? Just see like wa This is Honestly, it’s been melting like last time when he dug into this. The thing has raw car, but it’s This thing’s way better. Whoa. This is all the all that YouTube gets to see how shredded Martin is is watching body work. Holy [ __ ] Whoa. Think we can open up that lower back too a little bit more. It’ll just kind of add to the flare of the lat. If you just kind of pull back, you can really see. See that there’s just all Damn. It work good for you once, right? Very close. So what I’m doing is I’m pushing up. Mhm. Right. You see? And then so you can see a little bit more of the quadratus lumboreum sticking out. So right here, you see how it’s kind of flat? And I push up. And so it brings it out. So then when I scrape Oh, the the muscle can’t move. Yeah. Deeper because my finger’s there and it’s holding pressure up. And then it allows me to really I don’t need to use a lot of pressure. I’m just using very very light. Just just really lightly cuz remember, we’re not trying to bruise. We’re not trying to do anything. We’re just really trying to just get as much open without causing damage. Mhm. Cuz unless you’re going early on, yeah, I sure you can break it all up. But if not, let’s keep it light. Especially this close to to show There we go. Perfect. Yeah. Are you guys with gym? The gym mansions? Yeah. Yeah, I knew you. Um, you guys are actually just You sure? You want to come in? Yeah. Mark told me you guys were coming. Awesome. So, just hang out, work out if you have any questions. My name’s Cole. Okay. Uh, what’s your name? Martin. Martin. Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you. Yeah, there’s some awesome stuff. You’re just like, “What is this?” I’ll explain it to you. But um, you guys been here before? Yeah. Yeah. I came out here when I won my pro card and stuff. Yeah. Okay. That’s right. I think I remember you guys. Yeah. I’m glad you’re back. Thanks, man. But yeah, Jim told us you guys were talking. You’re good. Appreciate you, brother. You’re the man. Thank you so much, Alexis. What do you got to train? This gym is super cool. I’m going to retie this really quick. Give me a kiss. Nope. Not getting lip gloss all over my [ __ ] cell. And it’s just like up here is like a posing room slash like stretching boxing area. Well, we’ll go up and pose after we train. I just couldn’t remember if there was any equipment up there or not, so I wanted Oh, yeah. This place is like true old school, bro. It’s just dumbbells and like it’s like Arnoldesque hey Heat. Heat. t-shirt. Oh, [ __ ] yeah. Hell yeah. That’s what we wanted. [ __ ] yeah. Good [ __ ] Yeah, I used it before, but I forgot how good it feels. The only thing that’s like a little bit shitty about these like old machines is like they didn’t have bodybuilders as big as us. So, like they haven’t taken that in consideration. So, like these pinch the [ __ ] out of me. If I try to use the handle like the right way on this, it like pinch the [ __ ] out of them. So I just kind of have to just fit fit into it. Yeah. Heat. Heat. a mental note, we need him to get this forearm. My back feels great today. Having do like a this pec and this forearm today and then my quads. There’s a light open up of the quads and hamstrings, dude. Like when they told me last night like, “Oh yeah, like almost have the trip paid for,” I was like, “Fuck, I’m going to send you 1,500 bucks. I know that’ll cover the rest of the trip.” And like I I needed you here cuz I truly think that could be the difference between winning and losing this weekend, you know? Yeah. Making sure I’m open, making sure posing’s perfect. Crazy, dude. 20 lbs on this feels like like I know I’m depleted so it’s going to feel heavier but like this machine just perfect to where you don’t need a bunch of weight on it. good. Happy with it. Pretty much just at the point now where he’s just ready to pack his bags and get here. So, he said he was packing this morning, ready to get on the flight. And really, we just won’t make any adjustments until he gets here. So, push push me hard one more day. See if we can get one more little drop. This morning I was up just a little bit from that new lowest low. Uh but it was just more inflammation on my legs now. So we kind of always know that 2 days post leg I start to get a little bit inflamed. I didn’t train super hard. So it’s not like it skyrocketed up 2 or 3 lbs like kind of normal. Um it was only about like.5 of a pound but weight came up just a little bit and you can see the inflammation in my legs. All the detail is still there but everything’s a little swollen. So, know where it’s coming from. Not a big deal. No stress there at all. Pushed me one more day. Uh, I got a really good night’s sleep last night, which is like key key at this point. So, the night before was absolutely terrible. And now, even with having us be up just a little bit and look, it’s probably a better look cuz I’m just a little more rested and body looks a little fresher and I feel better today training and stuff. So, get after arms and a little shoulders here. Again, boss said no failure stuff, no training too hard. Just pump through everything, move deplete glycogen, move blood around, and then make sure to pose pose at the end and just get get everything squeezed out of here. Um, and get myself mentally ready for the battle that’s going to come this weekend. Lots of posing is going to come. So, do that and uh just have some fun on some old school equipment. So, this is one of my favorite gyms. When I won my pro card, I trained in this gym the whole time. Um, and just kind of holds a special place in my heart, a little little fun for me to be back here at Exercise Warehouse. And they take great care of us here. So, a lot of history on the walls and a lot of cool old equipment like you see here. Don’t need much. Now, the real No, it’s okay. I’m going to get out of here. Too [ __ ] big for this machine. No, I know. I’m just trying to see if I can do like Oh, standing. Can we take a 10 off of there, dude? Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. It feels good, but pain in the ass to get into to get into. That [ __ ] is heavy. Holy [ __ ] I don’t give a [ __ ] if you’re the Hulk. You ain’t doing this whole stack. Even both arms. No [ __ ] way. Heat. Heat. Damn, that’s crazy how heavy that thing is. I mean, I guess it’s 50, dude. I’m so flat. That’s crazy. I can just feel like usually when I flex my arms, they don’t have life. And then when I hit it, they like explode. And just when I hit that, I was like nothing. Dud. So firework. You made that. Literally. This is [ __ ] the craziest, heaviest bicep machine, bro. I even backed it off. It’s still heavy as [ __ ] This thing’s crazy. You got to at least feel it, Jake. Dude, right. [ __ ] thing is crazy heavy, dude. very like simplistic gym. Nothing fancy, just necessity. I love the old posters like the seated row and the that arm curl one over there. Arnold showing off his calf. No pump is coming. Three ref. I don’t know. I’ve never I won’t get my hopes up because I just know how things go. I’ve been in this position before where I was like, “Oh, I get to eat tomorrow and had to wait before and that just sucks.” So, just take it day by day, honestly. But no, I uh I don’t know. I mean, like like we’ve talked about, you know, I’m not a really I don’t care about the food other than the fatigue. I am excited for body fatigue to go away, but it’s all part of it. So, at least I know I’m earning it if my body hurts like that. But I will say getting boss here always makes peak week really feel start to feel real or special or honestly just he makes it so fun and his passion just starts to bleed into you that even if I am tired even if my energy is low um I can’t be more excited for the weekend to come you know so can’t wait to get him here tomorrow and that’ll just boost morale even more but we’re in a great spot I’m super happy with the look this morning and just going to keep building off for that and make sure we’re my best ever. I don’t know if I’ve ever been this flat or you’ve ever seen me this flat. Glitter from Alexis in my eye. Heat. Hey, Heat. That’s cool. That’s like some [ __ ] I would have had my dad weld me in high school. Our high school gym is very was similar to this. Just Flat flat flat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. If this thing got a little closer and actually had tension like right here instead of clear out right here, this thing would feel really good. You see that? This is the original Polish clothes line. Heat. Heat. do like one lateral raise when he gets done here on the cable and pretty well done. I already did rear delts yesterday, too. It’s like graffiti of bodybuilding. Heat. Heat. How we doing, brother? Yes, sir. Beautiful gym. I’m pregnant right now. Trying not to. Appreciate you taking care of us today, brother. Oh, yeah. Means a lot to us. Always move on. Always. Yeah. Yeah. But yeah, I Gary too. Gary, I came in in 2019. I got second at North Americans. Then 2020, I won my card out here and trained here every time. You’re my place, my man. 40 years I’ve been here. You weren’t even born. Nope. Not even close. Yeah. I’m 75. I can still rock and roll. I love it. You see me all the time. Raising hell. Jimmy, he’s on radio. I talked to Jimmy a little while ago. Hell yeah. He’s on radio about the show, the new place, all this and that other be good. in here. It’s going to be awesome. You going to be over at the show? Oh, yeah. Good. Good. Well, we’ll be in here the next few days. I think we’ll be here. We’ll bring William Bonack over with us tomorrow probably, too. So, all right, brother. Thank you very much. Appreciate you very much. I think Will gets in before coach Coach gets in at like 6:30. so flat. It’s crazy cuz it doesn’t look flat, but we know it is. When I don’t have front delt striations just going like this, you know I’m [ __ ] flat as [ __ ] Either fat as [ __ ] or flat as [ __ ] cuz my front dots are always strided. They’re there but they’re faint. Kind of like this. It’s like no fat, man. [ __ ] feel like a shriveled up raisin. Crazy to think though Olympia like 232 234 at the same time and this is 2423 something this morning. I guess I was 241 something. So like 242 something this morning. But yeah, 10 lbs in since November. So 5 months. Heat. Heat. Okay, youngster. What are you doing and where are you at? Well, you’re good, brother. I’m just just finished there. So, you can have the whole thing. You can do whatever you need to, brother. I’m out of there. So, cool. Give me a little. I like how she just got him uneasy. I would not I would be so tired. Heat up here. Heat up here. relax. Oh my gosh, even my legs are just like gone. I’ll go through like one or one or two more rounds and then I should let’s go through one or two more rounds and then we can go. I’ve definitely been in this place before. I said I’ve been in this place before a few times. I came here for energy drinks. Well, they either have a display of them or they don’t have them here. Is there anything else you need, babe? Do you want those? I knew you were going to get I knew you were going to get those. Turn you into a cheesic addict. Here’s the Oreos. What was the flavor you said they were coming out with? Yeah, of course. Star Wars. M. I want to be really bummed if they don’t have those ghosts. It’s going to be anywhere. It’s going to be in this. That sucks. Super lame. No, we’re looking for the new ghosts. But yeah, there’s no You don’t have any of the new flavor yet. They’re supposed to come out today, but they said targets have it, but probably not all of them. What’s up, big man? What’s up, brother? How you feeling today? Good. Good. How you feeling? Oh, you got the oversized fit. How are you feeling, bro? You sleeping? Good. Oh, yeah. Good, bro. Did you actually get some sleep? I did. Yeah. I was hoping that that massage kind of helped you. Oh, it passed me out. Good. I was like I was a little conflicted inside of my heart. I’m not going to lie. Cuz I was like, if I do this, I know he’s going to sleep well. Right. And it’s going to take away from the work. You know what I mean? We had back. We have two editors. We have two editors. Okay. Good. Cuz I was like, man, dude, you knew. Yeah, I did. Pack some stuff up. We go to a bigger one tomorrow cuz my coach gets here. Really? Oh yeah. Once I start eating food, my body will change. Like I’ll like start doubling in size and stuff. It’s crazy. Meal by meal. It’s like It’s insane. I literally change by the hour. Coolest thing. It’s really cool. It’s my favorite part of this whole thing. You better be highlighting that like in a whole video just Oh yeah. No, we do. Yeah. Meal by meal. Just um let’s just work on legs. Yeah, cool. Sounds good. Honestly, bro, you fixed my back so much yesterday. I want you to get in there a little bit again. Maybe tomorrow. Okay. Um but polish, right? More polish. Yeah. Cuz like right now, honestly, it’s still opening itself up. Like it’s been twitching throughout the day and just like slowly opening up more and more. So I think it’ll be perfect. And then like just give it like a day rest and then just open like open it. Okay. Um but yeah, then all right. Everything else feels great, bro. Let’s go. Now it’s just small touches. Dude, that’s sick. His face is so sunken in. Oh yeah. Really? Yeah. It’s like a We He took a picture at the gym. I looked like a zombie a little bit. Yeah. Let me see. You got done with that set and you said, “Dude, my face is so I can just feel it.” Look at that photo of like as blood went into my shoulders. My blood sucked out of my face. I can like feel it. That’s highlighter here. The Sith is what it felt like. The Sith. Yeah. Right. Something something dark side something the force I think it was so creepy back in the day my little brother loves Star Wars the oldest one so I watched them all a million times but I don’t know the story line at all once they remastered it and made him actually less creepy I heard that they okay that makes it sense why would they do that I mean then that makes sense why if cuz I I have that same feeling like whenever I think of it as a kid, it was he looked more sinister. Yeah. Okay. And then now they took it away and less Okay, that would make sense for sure. Yeah. I don’t like, bro, he was creepy as a kid. But Star Wars was like weird because, you know, some of those movies were so old and then I was still at you and I are at that age where they were like still making the story line. Yeah. Like not the new bull crap that they have now where they’re like starting new Star Wars stories. Like they were still working cuz what did they make like four, five, and six first? Yeah. And then like came back. So like I remember when they made when he jumps over the lava and gets his leg cut off and all that for three. So I remember being a kid and going to theaters and watching that, but then like trying to get into Star Wars and going back and watching the old ones and we’re like these suck. This is crap. This special effects are garbage. So, I was a huge Lord of the Rings kid. Yeah, Lord of the Rings. I loved Lord of the Rings, dude. It was like the special effects and stuff were just so much cooler that it was like it was such a It was such ahead of its time, I think. You know, when you look at Oh, bro, the CGI and stuff in that like, oh, what’s the elf when he’s like sliding down the trunk of the elephant and just shooting? Uh, you’re like, “What’s the name?” Legalist, right? Legalist. Legalist. Yeah, they were like, I love Lord of the Rings. And then actually even Hobbit came out when I was in high school and I really liked the even the Hobbit movies. I thought they did a really good job with those. Yeah, they didn’t do it. I mean, and CGI was like actually at a point where it was like awesome. But bro, your legs are feeling loose, bro. Like the way I was able to move. Oh, dude. So, like that’s the one thing I was telling you is like my whole body will start to feel like this cuz you’re used to getting a hold of me. Like I never let my body have a rest from training longer than like one day. Yeah. And like now I’m training, bro, but it’s it’s garbage. I hate it honestly. This is your least favorite. Yeah. It’s just It’s just like I have to train like a [ __ ] and I know it’s the name of the game and it’s what you got to do to be your best. I think JJ said that, right? It’s not it’s not the weight. It’s it’s just getting that pump. Yeah. Yeah, it’s just going I mean it’s just going through the motions and everything, man. I mean, like the thing is is like at this point in a prep, I’m not building muscle. No, you know what I mean? Like I’m not on enough food and stuff that I’m not like building new tissue or anything at this point. And like I the body fat is off. So at this point, it’s like keep everything as close to normal as can. So like still burn a good amount of calories that I would burn from say training and stuff like that to keep those things very normal. Yeah. But then as far as like intensity and beating my body up and like trying to get muscle breakdown, it’s like we don’t want any of that this week, you know? It’s like I want I want full repair, no inflammation. So like the training part is just like recovery week honestly, which sucks, but it’s cool. Tissue work a couple days in a row. my body will look the coolest it’s ever looked in my life, you know? So, it’s all worth it. But it’s definitely like it’s the weirdest week of training because I still feel like if I had enough food, I could go hard. Yeah. But then coming out of it next week, like when I do have food and I can train hard, like I will train like a [ __ ] cuz like I feel like I’m going to get injured the whole time. Whereas like right now coming into it still because I haven’t like completely dehydrated down and like the show sucks the life out of you man. It just like being dehydrated for so like a full day and everything is just so tiring. So then the next week your tendons and ligaments just shots Yeah. And it just you feels like like you said like it’s shot like you go to pick stuff up and CNS is fried so like two plates feels like five plates. And like so even if I wanted to train heavy the week after the show, I can’t. So that’s why like these the really these two those two weeks, the one right before and the one right after are so weird. And the one right after she does a good job of trying to keep me out of the gym for a couple days at least. What What are your What are your go-tos? Like whenever you have those days off and you’re like, “Okay, I need to kill time.” Like what would you do? I I try We like to do like I like to take her to like HomeGoods and stuff like that. Yeah, we do like TJ Maxx or something like some projects. Get out of the house. Yeah. And then like now I finally have the garage set up. Got the Legos. Um well, yeah, now we’re doing the Legos. But no, yeah, the next the next thing I’ll start, especially as offse and energy goes up as like I have all my power tools in the garage now. So, I’ll get my like table saw set up and I forgot you’re you’re all in a construction. Yeah. So, I’ll I’ll build like she said, I’ll build her a TV stand. I’ll build us a couple like nightstands for next to the bed or redo them. We have two wooden ones and they’re really nice, but they need like sanded and restained and stuff like that. So, I’ll do that. And so, I have a few projects that I want to do and like build some stuff for her. She’s got some other things in mind. I think she’s got a little Look at her. Look at her. She’s thinking so much right now. Got a little If you only knew. Yeah, exactly. She’s got a little saw screenshots and stuff on her phone of all these ideas she wants me to do for outside. I can grow vegetables, which is, you know, all those things benefit me, right? So, I need to get on it, though. And that kind of stuff, you know, that’s mostly my I actually really enjoy doing that stuff. So, that’s fun for me. And then, uh, we’ll um Oh, you feeling that one? Yeah. We’ll also I was like we’ll start like a little bit of like hobby stuff. Like Jake and I like we used to go to the driving range or go to golf and stuff and there’s actually one close to the house so we might start doing that again. It’s a badass every once in a while there. There’s a sick golf. So you like golfing a lot too? You know, I used to love golfing. Now I’m so big it’s my swing changes literally on if I’m 270 or if I’m 240 right now. You know what I mean? So like my game is like I can’t get frustrated when I suck. Do you have any golfing videos? Yeah. Yeah, we actually Jake and I did a Well, we did a full YouTube of one, right? No, just a Instagram. Just Instagram. Oh, you got to do a YouTube. We did a bunch of funny Instagram videos like on the golf course and they actually like almost all went viral. Yeah, I think that’s a killer setup. Yeah. But yeah, and and I’m not like I’m actually not terrible. My swing is ugly as hell and like I’m I’m actually not like a super power guy. Like I’m more of a finesse golfer, but at like I’m not terrible. Like when I golf with these guys, he his buddy is actually really good. And we’re golfing and he’s like, “Damn, for like as ugly and stuff as your swing is, like you know how to make it work for you.” Like I even like play my slice a little bit cuz I can’t fix it. Yeah. So I’m just like, “Okay, if I go 15° this way, it’ll actually go that way the way that I want it to.” But yeah, so it’s it’s fun. And uh so I don’t mind golf, but the driving range or like top golf I’m actually really good at cuz I can once I catch my groove with the swing like when we’re like top golf and stuff, I can play the games like the the sand wedge like you shoot into the X holes or whatever into the X range and stuff. I um I’m not too bad at those. So we have fun. And there’s actually supposed to be they’re building one of those batting ones next to our house. They have axe throwing, but I’m not so sure about that. We did that. That was pretty good. Did you like it? Yeah, it was pretty fun. Uh Bri kicked my butt at uh Well, I wouldn’t say she kicked my butt, but she she won. That’s the only thing at Jenga. Yeah, it was our first date and I was like I was like throwing the axes and I was landing. I was doing so good. And then I was like, man, you know, I got the hands right, so I should be able to whoop her at Jenga. No. She humbled me so hard. Oh, women got way more finesse, bro. That’s That’s hilarious though. That’s actually really good. It’s It’s fun. I don’t know. I don’t know if I’d risk it though cuz you you know Yeah. I’d throw my elbow out or some crap. I mean, with the axe, you don’t want it to bounce off and then come back, right? No. Yeah. I’ve seen some crazy videos on that on like Instagram and Tik Tok. It most likely won’t happen, but Right. Yeah. Like that kind of stuff, man. I love do I like I actually really enjoy doing that stuff. Or like I there’s actually a drag strip in between Dallas and Houston that I want to go check out the drag races at for sure. I love high octane cars, man. Did you ever do any racing? I never I’ve never done any drag racing. I did a little bit of dirt bike stuff when I was a kid. I think that’d be pretty huge if you could get a way to like do a video on like just going on like in a car. Oh, I would if someone would let me drag race a car, dude. That would be like, so I’m a I’m a Octane junkie, so anything fast. My favorite thing besides bodybuilding is probably snowmmoiling. Yeah, I love riding snowmobiles. Dirt bikes and snowmobiles. That’s over there in Cody. I did in Cody a lot. Yeah. And then where I mostly did a lot of my riding is right on the border of Colorado and Wyoming. Oh, okay. I was not Cody. What was Silvergate? I haven’t been up there actually. No, it’s like mountains and mountains. Okay. Yeah, I’ve been I’ve been in the Cody area. We rode. My cousins lived in between Jackson and Cody and Big Piney. Yes. And we would go ride up there quite a bit. That’s awesome riding. And then but where I mostly rode was right on the Colorado border. And the snow and stuff down there is insane. So I got to ride some of the coolest mountains. I’ve never I’ve outran an avalanche, but I’ve never been in one. That’s That’s wild, though, for sure. I’ve seen some really big ones. Look at that monster. YouTube doesn’t get that. Yeah, we like keep my physique pretty hidden honestly. Like we’ll give him the smallest or like we’ll give him hints. We’ll give them glimpses. But it’s hilarious cuz when we do then like everyone makes a video like he he did one of posing in the garage at the house. That’s why that’s why I was like, “Dude, I don’t know if I should post that video of your back.” Yeah, that’s that’s why I text you. I was like, “It’s okay. It’s no big deal.” Like no one can tell anything. So, it’s like we still we my upper body is not as big of a deal cuz you can like you can see how conditioned I am. But you can’t tell. Yeah. You can’t tell. My legs that easy to tell how peeled I am. When you stood over there when you flexed out, you saw how big when you’re on the table. You can’t really see that. Yeah. Exactly. And that’s why I was thinking I was like, “Ah, it’ll be fine.” Yeah. No, it was good. Problem with people though, I think is going to is what they’re going to find is they’re coming in for an hour. I’m a flush, work what I do, and then they’re going to be like, “Oh, dude, I wish I would have gotten more.” But the nice thing is, bro, is like that will get word of mouth even more for you cuz he’ll get you more people in. Mhm. But then next time they know like, “Bro, you got to get in with this guy longer.” Or like if you’re not competing, like you should get in with him if he still has time. Like that’s an that’s why I told the Germans and the Brazilians that they should try to get in with you. take extra good care of their athletes. So, they literally just have you come over to the house and pay you like mad money to work on all the people that they sponsor. Oh, I’m sure bodybuilding guys are trickling in, especially as I share your stuff and they see you fix me, bro. Cuz like the thing is, man, is like most of us are looking for some like we all have someone that does at least some work, but we’re all looking for somebody to like fix that issue spot. So, like the videos you make when it’s like you’re fixing like that trouble area, then like somebody’s like, “Dude, my lad is jacked up, too. I need to go see John.” Let me follow him real quick. Yeah. It’s like it’s really tensed up versus if we go on this side right here and then we kind of do this. You see how it’s a little bit less right there? You can see the ball. Feel that? And then over here, there’s obviously muscle tissue, right? And that’s normal. But it’s not it’s it’s more fluid. You see that fluidity? And then right here, you see how Okay, that makes sense. Now, now you can see it, right? Because the muscle’s still going to be there. And that’s not what we’re looking at. But we’re looking at that. Look at that deep pull. Yeah. It’s got like a I can feel it. And you can see like the ball like it almost ball up. Doesn’t want to let me just flow over it. You see that? It’s bounces up. And this one again. M. You see it’s much more smoother. When you said fluid, that made way more sense. Yeah. And this this one’s you see it. You can even see it over here. If you come over right here and you can see when I when I when I go over here, you can see how it causes. Look at all that. And it’s just cuz of this little thing right here. So, as we open it up like that, you already feel that loosening up. And then it begins to smooth out. See that? Now, it’s looking more fluid. There’s still a little bit of a bounce, but it’ll loosen up more and more as we go through this. We should do a thumbnail with a electric shock thing and I’ll throw some lightning behind it too. So yeah. open up your feet. If it’s just like all of this will just open up and give you a better base. We can play with it. Just we’ll have to be super careful cuz the bottom of my feet are crazy sensitive cuz I have like no fat pad. Okay, cool. So, just hands if we do any uh heat, if we won’t scrape, we’ll just apply the heat. I mean, and it might be fine. I just know like No, I wouldn’t after a full day of walking on them, like they murder me cuz they just have no fat pad. So yeah, I wouldn’t I wouldn’t be kind of transitioned over to when I started work in construction. I’d just keep it on. Like I used to when I was in college, I’d like peel it off before I go to class and stuff. And then when I work construction, I’d just like wake up and like leave it on and go to work like who cares? And then it it started it was a big comment driver for a long time on social media. So I just like had it on 24/7 in all my videos, especially training. And then now it’s like it’s kind of a big thing in fitness in general. Like there’s a lot of guys that wear it. And then like all the most of the Germans wear nose strips cuz I was I kind of started the trend. I don’t like need it by any means, but like I notice when I wear it during training even that like my endurance is better in a set cuz I can breathe through my nose better, you know, which is going to get you more. Yeah. And like you were like we were just talking about like keep you in parasympathetic, keep my heart rate down so I can continue to get more reps and stuff like that. But like especially on leg day, I really noticed a big difference in like leg press sets and stuff when I could breathe through my nose on those hard sets. The probably the biggest factor I noticed is for sure sleep. Like if you can just you know I mean any way obviously I have a CPAP now but any way you can keep yourself from snoring and keep from disrupting sleep. How is John breed? Does he snore like crazy? He’s dead tired. Yes. Yeah. Same. I have to be like exhausted. That’s how Jake is. He’ll if he’s really tired he’ll snore. That’s when you know you had a good day’s work. I I snorted last night, man. That was [ __ ] peaceful sleep. End of the world. Mhm. We also have the custom cleaning wipes coming with them. So each little cleaning wipe that’s like an inch by inch says like Martian cleaning wipe and it’s got like all the directions on the back, all the warnings. Those are really those turned out really cool. Those
