Paige Spiranac is very honest about where she stands politically in 2025.

The former professional golfer turned sports media personality has a huge following. She is one of the most followed figures in all of golf, trailing just Tiger Woods. Spiranac, who played collegiately at the University of Arizona and San Diego State, has become one of the bigger figures in sports media on social media.

Spiranac, 32, has made it very clear where she stands politically over the years, too.

The prominent sports media figure has sounded off on the current state of American politics.

Spiranac has made it clear that she’s not happy with the state of polarization and one-sidedness in today’s politics.

Following the assassination attempt on Donald Trump in July of 2024, Spiranac made it clear that unity is what’s needed in the United States, but we probably aren’t going to get it.

“It was incredibly sad and there should never be a point where violence takes over, and I am hopeful that this will spark a conversation [in which] you can have differences, but you can talk to one another in a way that is efficient, and we can use our words, and we can hear one another out, and we can be respectful of one another,” Spiranac told Fox News Digital.

“I think it’s gone to a place where it’s been so hostile that we forget that we all have different upbringings and come from different backgrounds, and there are different experiences in our lives that have shaped us, and we can learn so much from [one] another that it just stakes, time, patience and respect. And I am hopeful that everyone can move forward; [it] doesn’t matter what side you’re on, that we can all agree that was not OK.”

Spiranac has a big following on social media, but she doesn’t get very politicaly.

However, she did send an encouraging message of support to President Trump.

“My prayers and condolences go out to everyone who was there,” she said last summer.

“It was such a sad situation, and I really hope that we can just respect each other, have calm conversations, learn from [one] another; and maybe that’s too out there to hope for. But I really hope that’s kind of where we can progress forward to, because I just think we can learn so much from one another and learn from where the differences that we do have, and we can come together.”

Spiranac doesn’t have to get into politics, but she clearly felt it was important to let it be known where she stood on an important issue.
