Day 118 Playing Golf Every Day Until I’m a Single Digit Handicap: Practicing My New Swing Feel #golf

Day 118 — Back on the course today working on my new swing feel. It’s not perfect yet, but I’m seeing signs of progress. Some swings felt great, some… not so much — but that’s part of the journey! Staying patient and trusting the process. Thanks for being along for the ride!

Day 118 playing golf every day until break 10 handicap go practice round today. Swing feels really awkward, but going through swing changes means that I’m on the right path. Whole nine Apple Valley golf course. I start off with a pretty sicey draw. I hit the ground and it didn’t go really far and ended up slicing more than I liked. I had 155 yards in so I hit my eight iron and hit a terrible shot that would have gone out of bounds, but that tennis net ended up saving me. Tough little lie. Only thing I’m worried about is ending up in that bunker and I ended up skulling it but stayed on the green. Happy with the putt for par and this thing almost rolled in. Perfect speed just a little bit offline. Tapping for bogey after three bad shots is uh something to be happy about. So I’m working on dropping that trail elbow before I start my down swing. And it’s been a um I would say something really awkward to feel. But in golf, they say that feel versus real are two different things. So, if it doesn’t feel right, it’s probably because I’m doing something right. Um, let me know if you’ve ever heard that before. But anyways, that’s kind of what I’m working on here for the next couple of weeks. I can’t keep swinging over the top. I’ll never be able to play good golf like that.
