Donald Trump’s Aberdeenshire golf course to host Scottish Championship #news #shorts #trump #golf
Trump International Links is recognized as one of the finest courses in the country, but this is the first time that it will host a DP World Tour event. Now, the course here opened in 2012 after a series of planning controversies. The Scottish Championship will tee off in August this year, just the second time the events been played after 2020 when it was played at Fairmont St. Andrews. There’s a $2.7 million prize pot for the tournament, but of course, we don’t yet know the players that will take to the links later this summer.
Donald Trump’s golf course in Aberdeenshire will host the Scottish Championship as part of the DP World Tour this summer.
The Championship has been added to the world tour schedule for August this year at Trump International Golf Links on the Menie Estate in Balmedie.
The £2m tournament will take place from August 7-10 a week after the venue will host the Staysure PGA Seniors Championship for the third year in succession.
