During the par three contest the day before the tournament, the Northern Irishman was accompanied by Poppy, who demonstrated that golfing talent runs in the Mroy family. The young girl made an impressive putt from a distance, eliciting one of the loudest cheers of the day. She was then greeted by her friend Iris, Shane Lowry’s daughter.
