Joe Frasier was a rising star and Mexican Manuel Ramos was his just another target. Frasier was brutal. He just went forward like a tank and started breaking down Ramos’s defense. It looks like Frasier Fraser. Fraser putting tremendous pressure on Emanuel Ramos. Ramos on the defense. Fraser typically throwing one. The fight was over before it had even started. In the second round, a right and a left hook became the final point. Emanuel’s back against the ropes. Another fight by Joe Ray has taken a tremendous tingeree. Another high-profile knockout in the collection of Smok and Joe referee signals. Bob Foster was the overall light heavyweight champion and decided to move up to the heavyweight division to challenge Joe Frasier himself. But the reality was much tougher than expected. From the first seconds, it was clear Frasier was not going to spare a guest from another weight division. His left hook was literally blowing up the air. 1964 Olympic Games heavyweight title. In the second round, it all ended. A sharp short punch and Foster fell on his back like a toy. Paralyzing punches by champion Joe. A dynamite left hook and Bob Foster. It was an indication of the level. A real beast named Frraasier ruled the heavyweight division. Zorafali was an experienced boxer, a respected veteran of the ring. He was considered one of the last serious challengers of the old school capable of challenging Muhammad Ali. It should have been a tense and competitive fight. But from the beginning, Ali was in complete control of the fight. He moved faster, was more accurate, and clearly outclassed Folly in every aspect. Round after round, he built up the advantage, denying his opponent no chance. In the seventh round, it was all over. Ali’s accurate right jab sent Folly to the canvas. Champion has money himself. There’s no question about that. [Applause] He tried to get up, but he couldn’t. Oh, the game tried to get up and his heavyweight championship. It was Ali’s last fight before his disqualification when he was stripped of his title for refusing to serve in the army. But it was in this fight that he showed once again why he is considered one of the greatest fighters in history. Jimmy Ellis was a smart, experienced boxer, a former world champion. But in the ring with Shavers, even experience didn’t save him. In the first round, Ernie showed why he was no joke. He caught Ellis with a right uppercut and he collapsed before he even realized what had [Applause] happened. It was an instant, clean knockout. A pure display of power that doesn’t need rounds. In January 1973, a fight took place between two undefeated boxers, George Foreman and the absolute heavyweight champion of the world, Joe Frasier. After Frasier’s victory over Muhammad Ali, few believed that Foreman would win. However, this fight came as a real shock to everyone. Foreman is going about his job. Foreman is all over. Joe Frasier about to end two knockdowns in the first round of Joe Frasier. Down again from Arthur M. Oh, he is all over Frasier again. He has Frasier in the corner. Fraser’s knees buckled. Foreman approached the fight on an outstanding streak of 40 wins in 40 fights, 37 of which were by knockout. George was considered one of the strongest punchers in boxing history and was the favorite before the fight with Muhammad Ali. The beginning of the fight was left to George who regularly pressed Muhammad against the ropes and tried to hammer him there. In the middle of the fight, the situation began to rapidly change because the champion was catastrophically tired. Ali had already seized the initiative and began to seriously interrupt his exhausted opponent who was barely standing on his feet. At the end of the eighth round, Muhammad unleashed a series of two-handed punches and sent Foreman to the canvas. Another sneaky right hand. In this way, Muhammad was able to get his belts, which were at stake in the fight against Joe Frasier. Ken Norton was at the peak of his career after defeating Muhammad Ali and was considered a serious challenger for the title.
