think of somebody like a Mark Allen somebody like that a player who has a very very loose grip he more grips the queue with his forefinger and his thumb and these other fingers literally just cradle around it Kendo was the same kind of style you know the cube was kind of in the four finger and thumb area these other fingers weren’t really part of the game they they they weren’t really taking part much better to have a loose grip rather than one that’s too tight now in terms of what happens to the Q working through the Bri grip as you’re playing a shot then it’s all about just finding what works for you if you’re too tight you take the Q back and all your fingers stay on it it just doesn’t you you know it just doesn’t feel right and you can’t really hit the ball properly from there the only thing that really should be happening this is as technical as we’re going to get when we start talking about the grip is as you take the grip as you take the queue back the queue moves into the front part of your hand there and on its way through as your fingers regrip it ends up in the back part of your hand and you should end up with a little Gap there just between you know whatever this part of your hands SC this bit between the thumb and forefinger you know you end up with that kind of loose you don’t want to come through the ball and have that super tight there really should be a bit of a gap in there that you can play with not a loose thumb keep that thumb on but let the queue Rock from front to back and let it rest in that fleshy part of the hand there other than that keep it as absolutely simple as possible

Bit sensual
How was it banging in a maximum in front of a crowd who had no enthusiasm at all?
Very nice videos ❤ pot cue in the table and just picked up.
These are the things we really want to know that we can never get answers to. Thanks !
I really wanna see that video about the grip
This was massive when I discovered it a while back. I feel as though the cue is almost resting in my fingers on the way back, and basically grab the cue back into my whole hand on the way through. Far more repeatable spin/positioning. Better potting success and generally more confidence and repeatability. Can't stress how important the fundamentals are.
I have to really concentrate on my grip to avoid being to harder a grip
Great!
hello Shaun. would you pls take a slow motion video for your grip. thx in advance
Hi Shaun, really enjoying the videos, can you comment on where the square edge of the butt should be? I’ve always had it at 9 o’clock but you seem to be at 12? Does it matter in your opinion? Cheers
My cue grip is way too tight and I just can’t seem to get out of the habit!!!!!!!
