Cory Connors has long been known for his elite ball striking and at the 2025 Masters, he’s putting that reputation to work with a finely tuned bag of equipment built for precision. At the top end, Connors is gaming a Ping G440 driver set at 10.5° paired with a US Mamia LNQ White 6X shaft. It’s a combo that provides stability and control off the tea. Fitting for a player who rarely strays from the fairway. His fairway woods come from the same G440 Max line by Ping. He carries a 15 degree 3 wood with a LNQ white 7X shaft and a 19 degree 5 wood with the stiffer 8x version of the same shaft. These woods give him versatility off the deck and into the long parfs at Augusta where shot shaping and trajectory control are essential. In the iron category, Connors opts for a blended set. He starts with a Ping I234 iron using a project X red 6.5 shaft for a bit of added height and forgiveness. From there, he transitions to Ping Blueprint S for the five iron and blueprint T for six through pitching wedge, all matched with project X6.0 shafts. This mix allows him to balance distance and feel. Particularly important when attacking Augusta’s slick, undulating greens. Around the greens, Connors relies on Ping’s new S159 wedges in 50, 56, and 60 degrees, all equipped with Project X6.0 shafts. The setup gives him multiple options for spin control and trajectory on Augusta’s demanding short game shots. His flat stick is a prototype, the Ping PLLD Ally Blue Onset. It’s a unique putter with visual and balance characteristics tailored specifically for his stroke. precise and repeatable. Much like the rest of his game, Connors is using the Tit Pro V1 ball, known for its consistency, soft feel, and control around the greens. For grip, he trusts the Golf Pride MCC, a favorite among tour players for its combination of corded upper texture and softer lower section. Every club in Cory Connors bag is there for a reason. It’s a setup built for control, consistency, and clean contact. All trademarks of his game. At Augusta, where every shot demands precision, Connors is well equipped to deliver.
