The final group of Kingston, KHN, and Dredge are ready to go. We’ve had some overnight rain, so it’s slightly softer out there. Should yield more scoring opportunities, and with a tightly packed leaderboard, this could be an absolute roller coaster. Overnight leader James Kingston made this birdie on the ninth as he battled back from three early drop shots to shoot 72. He finished tied fifth on minus 7. Simon Khn also finished on seven under par courtesy of a level pass 71. This brilliant approach to the fourth set up one of his four birdies including two in the last four holes. David Ddale was tied third on his Legends Tour debut. The Scott every hole on the front nine and had one bogey and three birdies on the way home with this two at the 16th. Leonel Alexandre turned in one over par, but he played the back nine in four under. This putt dropped for a red number at 12 as the Q school graduate signed for a 68 and finished tied third on eight under. Greg Owen finished alone in second on minus 9. The highlight of his 69 was this wonderful eagle at the ninth hole. He also had three birdies, including one at the last and three bogeies. Scott Hend lost in a playoff here last year, but he made sure he got his hands on the trophy today with a magnificent surge of eight birdies in his last 13 holes. This one was at the par 316. His sensational 64 was enough for an 11 underpar total and a twoshot victory. Let’s hear from our champion. It’s uh nice to redeem after last year’s loss to to Bakes in the playoffs. So, feels good. Second’s nice cuz you get paid, but first is better because nobody really remembers second, as they say. And if you’re not first, you might as well be last. No, just joking. It’s great. It’s nice. I I love collecting trophies and uh whichever tour they’re on, I’ll take a trophy at any point in time. And it’s just great to be back in the winner circle again. [Music]
