Aaron Gordon had the first ever game-winning buzzer beating dunk to even the series at 2 to2. And here’s what Aaron Gordon and Nicole Joic had to say about that play in their postgame interview. I thought the game was over, so I was just trying to get off the court. I just I didn’t want to have excitement and then go down. So, I was just like, I’m just going to keep keep calm. So, that was my uh approach. I didn’t know what happened. minutes. I thought I thought it was close, but it was really really close. So, it was uh they’re calling this the first playoff buzzer beating dunk in NBA history. What does it feel like to make a shot like that? It’s a nice pass. Yes. So, Joker, was it a pass? No, no, it wasn’t. Actually guys, I don’t know how you’re familiar with European Euro League made a exact same like he miss a ball and Josh Stridler’s game came and pick up and they won a final four. I think it was semi-finals against it was CSK against uh Partisan. Yeah, long time ago. Maybe we can I can help you guys write the story. Aaron, where does that rank in terms of biggest bigger shots of your career? Nice shot. That was a good shot, dude. Lot of skill with that one. Um, it’s up there. Um, honestly, when it comes down to it, just happy we won, you know? That’s that’s really what it comes down to. Nicole, what was going through your mind when you let that shot go at the end? This is going to be bad. I mean to be honest I I didn’t want to give them another I didn’t want to give them enough time to shoot the ball. So I in my mind I was just wanted to wait last second and just jack it. So but I did a couple dribbles and uh that was a mistake. The last play of the game was obviously not a pass but it was an example of the connection that you two have on the floor. How do you think? No, AG knew where the ball was going to be when you threw it up there, so maybe an example of it. But why do you think you guys have the relationship that you do both on and off the floor? What’s contributed to that? I thought the ball was going in the boot when you shot it. Um, I think it’s just experience learning to play with each other, you know, respect each other’s space, respect. So, it’s just um chemistry that um didn’t happen right away. you just work work on it and then you know sometime sometimes stuff like this happen just because it’s natural spot where you be or the natural maybe you know the bounce how the the balls the ball is going to bounce of the rim so it’s just lucky but sometimes it’s not lucky and today was definitely lucky [Music]

  1. he was passing it joker just doesnt bother getting credit but his circle know thats a pass 5 times mvp man is best passing center of all time already

  2. I mean, do NBA broadcasters really cant find capable audio technicians at all ? I thought it was a Denver problem but i see that they cannot solve basic audio interference.

  3. Deandre Ayton had the first ever game winner dunk… Literally against the same team in the 2021 playoffs. Im tired of people forget about the Suns

  4. Wasnt the first, DeAndre ayton had 2 game winning buzzerbeater dunks that phx finals run a few years ago I think the first was game 2 against clippers then again game 1 or 2 against the bucks

  5. you KNOW if that was lebron instead of Jokic when reporters asked he would’ve said yeah that was a pass i always make the right play

  6. The rightful 2-Time slam dunk champion wins the first nba playoff buzzer beater game with a fantastic dunk. Ball don't lie

  7. Jokic´s honest answer would have been more devasting: "70% of all rebounds go to the weak side, everybody knows this and that´s why Gordon stood there."

  8. These guys do not talk outside of that arena let’s be real. The body language is super awkward and not just because of the media. They respect each other and have experience together on the court.. But they’re definitely not hanging after work for a drink or some rounds of golf😂
